Great and friendly staff. Very flexible with what we needed for our dogs when our vacation plans changed. Also a super clean and nice facility made us feel better about leaving our pups there
Boarded my dog from Tues-Sunday. Upon picking her up she was lifeless and a bag of bones. My husband had to carry her in the house. She was lethargic, dehydrated and had a temp and had lost a significant amount of weight. I called the kennel and was assured she was fine the whole time. The food we sent with her was barely half gone for 5.5 days.After 4 hours of being home she continued to get worse and started to dry heave. At the advice of our vet we rushed her to the emergency clinic. She has an extreme case of kennel cough, an ear infection, a confirmed high fever and was very dehydrated. She was sent home with 2 different medications and a list of instructions. Both the ER vet and her regular vet said that she had to be exhibiting signs of illness before we picked her up at 5pm on Sunday. The kennel claims she was heathy and happy and was eating fine.I trusted this kennel with our baby and I regret it!!!Her raised dog bed had another dogs hair on it. We were fed one excuse after another for why there was another dogs hair on the bed, why she lost a significant amount of weight and why her food in her bin was barely gone and that kennel cough doesn’t show symptoms for 5-10 days so it wasn’t possible she contracted it from the kennel. The ER vet and her regular vet confirmed that dogs can contract and show signs of kennel cough within 3 days.I used to love this place for doggy day care but I will not recommend it for day care or a kennel.They said sorry and glad it wasn’t worse....how much worse could it be???I’ve attached a pic of her condition within an hour of her pick up.FYI...she was at the vet the Saturday before she went to the kennel and got a perfect bill of health! Excellent weight, clean and healthy ears etc etc.$200 for a kennel stay to get a sick dog back and hundreds more for vet bills!Beware!
Left our dog Dublin there from Friday - Tuesday whileOn vacation. Nice, clean, pleasant place. They said Dublin had 2 accidents in his room and that they cleaned him up and washed the bed we left with him. Ate all the meals we packed for him. Will use again.
Our dog loves this place. He starts going nuts when we turn on county road he is so excited. We usually do daycare and a bath and when we pick him up he is tired and smells great. He loves the staff there and they love him you can tell
This is the only place I trust with my 2 dogs. The staff is absolutely amazing and the facility is very clean and well-kept.
I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with them! Clean location, awesome play yard, friendly staff, heated floors, and a grooming service in the building :D i like that i know my dogs are able to run around and play while Im gone, instead of just sitting in a cage.
Boarded my 8 month old puppy from Thursday - Monday. I picked her up on Monday and she was sick, which I later found out was a respiratory infection. I understand that you cant help dogs getting sick HOWEVER, I went to wash the sheets and bedding that I left for my dog to sleep on and they were totally saturated in urine. I called and expressed my displeasure and the owner didnt have much to say. I wouldnt trust this place with my dog ever again.
I never enjoy being away from my dogs but when we travel this is our go to place ......the first time we walked into this place we felt comfortable and were surprised how open they were to allowing us to see the entire facility ( other kennels never allowed us to see the entire facility - including the boarding kennels ) . They have been more than helpful and I recommend them .
Good care. Nice people. Being able to use phone app to view pup from afar is great. Our dog always returns to us happy, clean & healthy. All good.
Loved it, people there are awesome, when I picked my dogs up after vacation, they came home and where very tired puppies, thinking about taking them back for doggie daycare, so they can interact with other dogs more often and burn off some of the energy they have!
Very clean establishment with plenty of room for your pets. The floors are heated and there are nice suites with televisions and video monitoring from anywhere. A must use when you are heading out of town and need boarding
They are wonderful with the dogs, care for each one as if they were their own!! Anytime my dogs are there I feel confident they are getting the best care provided!! Highly recommend this place!!
Needs a little help with the staff to give first time people like myself a little more confidence in that our dogs will be okay when boarding. A little thing like a dress code might be nice so you dont feel like youre leaving your pets with just some guy.
Fantastic, clean kennel! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. My dog did daycare here as a puppy to get that extra energy out and we continue to use it all the time for boarding.
Sammy stayed at Canine Kennels of Clarence for 5 days recently and when i picked him up he was happy, clean and relaxed! Jim and his staff are so hands on with each and every animal that is left in their care. Sammy will definitely have return visits. Thanx again to Jim and his staff, u rock!!

This is a new Kennel. The owners are on premise 24/7. They do some dog rescue also. Very clean facility.
Our dog loves going there when were out of town. Mr. Jim takes great care of him.

2022-07-07Our two dogs love going here. The staff are wonderful.Over a year after we started taking our pups here they are still excited when they know that is where we are heading. One of them has had a long recovery period after surgery and returned for the first time since the beginning of the year, he was crying and trying to climb over me to get out of the car before I had even turned onto the road leading into the kennels. Was out and pulling me and his brother along to the door with a lot of excitement.I love the team here and would and do recommend them to anyone looking for great daycare or boarding.

2016-09-01I dont often write reviews, but they so deserve a glowing one. The owners are great people and take great care of our dog. Weve had him there for daycare and boarding, and he always seems happy and well taken care of. Our dog has become wonderfully socialized by being there. The owners treat our dog like one of their family. The facility is clean and well run. Pick-up and drop-off hours are most reasonable, even on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

2017-05-24It isnt an accident that most of the reviews are 5 stars. Ever walked into a doggy boarding area and felt like you were in a pound or an outdated hospital? I have. But when I walk into this place it feels good. Everything is clean, new, and modern. The rubberized floors look inviting (as opposed to sterile white tile or something) and the staff is so friendly and remembers you and your dog. My dog Bennett absolutely loves this place. My wife works from home and a couple times a month she drops Bennett off for day care so she can get some stuff done. We also will board him occasionally when we are heading out of town. This place doesnt force us to have appointments and has no problem with us just dropping him off for day care. The live video feature during boarding is nice for checking in couple times a day. It is super obvious that Jim and Maria love dogs and take such good care of them. We were lucky to find this place and as long as we are in the area we will be bringing Bennett back. I would recommend this place to anyone without any hesitation.

2020-01-28We boarded our two dogs for the first time and chose Canine Kennels of Clarence because they are near our home and they were recommended by a friend from a local dog rescue group. Were extremely happy with the care our dogs had during their stay, though they were both excited to come home! The staff is responsive and easy to reach, and you can tell that they enjoy what they do and working with dogs. Would definitely recommend and will be boarding with them again in the future.

2019-06-09I love this place for both boarding and daycare for my two dogs. The facility is always clean and the staff greet them by name. They both come home tired so I know theyve had a full day of play they wouldnt have had otherwise. My husky is always visibly excited whenever we pull in the parking lot, which gives me peace of mind about leaving them in their care!

2018-07-08I have been taking my pup here for over a year, and she loves it. I have never seen my dog so excited to hang out and play. I like that the facilities are clean, you can board the dog, or send them for doggy day care to run off some crazy energy. I have also had her nails cut and a bath while I was away. Things she won’t fight with them:). It’s worth the tea 10 minutes drive from where I love.

2015-09-08Cannot say enough about this wonderful kennel. The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our dogs. I feel extremely comfortable boarding our dogs here. The facility itself is brand new! it is quiet and our dogs are not at all anxious upon drop off because of this. All in all a fantastic place!
