Good place to spend an afternoon. Ive heard the fishing is good. Restaurant good fast food and sit down with table service.
Great place to go and catch a cheater and go fishing, wife variety for whatever you need.
Its a great place to go and hang out with a friend my buddy and I Pete bush and myself its a girl bikes and ride out there was a great ride Batman hang out look at the water shoot the breeze for a little while Im turn around and ride back home it was a great right and Id like to do it again God willing thanks Pete I enjoyed all of those rides

Great place for family party boat fishing. Everything included in a reasonable fare. If you have kids and want to give them a first time fishing experience, it s a great place. Unfortunately, it no longer services serious anglers. Very few, if any, full-day party boat trips on the ocean as in days past.

For people who dont know anything about fishing, this is the best place to go on a boat for fishing and the people are professional who provide everything for the fishing trip. Excluding food and beverage.
This was my first time on a charter fishing boat. Beautiful drive to the marina, wonderful experience once we left the dock. I definitely want to go back in the future!
Great place to get on a boat and fish. It costed me $8 to get in the boat basin and then you pay for whatever boat you want to go on. Boat tickets are cheaper if you purchase them online.
I have gone there every year with my church for fun and fishing. We hire the same boat and the crew has always given us a big welcome. The park is always maintained beautifully to.

Took the Laura Lee out for morning sea bass fishing. Everyone on board caught there limit. Good boat.
Did some live eel bass fishing from 10pm-3am cant remember boat name however captain was named Walter GREAT CAPTAIN & CREW couldnt b any more accommodating even without catching any fish was a great night highly recommend hes only boat that live eel fishes at that time definitely a nice night!!

Went out on a fishing charter and there are many to choose from. Park is maintained well and be aware of the parking fees. Plenty to do and see. A restaurant, a snackbar, playground, boat launch, bait and tackle store and access to fishing off a pier. There is a little beach also to hang out at and can see the fire island light house off the East end tip.

Beautiful scenery. The end of the Jones beach island is full with lush greenary and beautiful ocean. Free parking this time if year. Quick but good food to eat. Restrooms are clean and available.

Took my husband fishing for Fathers Day, after talking to the crew; found out that the fish are not really biting until after the 4th. Wish I would have know that before booking a cruise.
Fishing out of Captree is great, the Captains fishing spots are usually great! Also, the car shows early Sunday mornings are awesome!

Great fleet and crews. The crews of the Laura Lee are awesome. The Captain Gillen is one of my all time favorites going back to childhood. These charter boats are a great option for a low stress day on the water. They provide all the gear and the bait. The Captain Gillen has been finding the fish for me for over 25 years. The boat basin has a nice restaurant with great views as well.

The Captree Fleet is one of the largest Open boat fleets on the East Coast. It offers half day, full day, evening fishing trips and charters. The crews and captains are skilled and accommodating. Tackle and bait is provided. There is bay and ocean fishing available on comfortable craft. Boats fish for the current run following State seasonal regulations. Fish alone or with the family. Mates will clean you catch. I fish the Jib 6 and do well. Captain Joe and the crew are a nice folks.

2022-06-07Today was a great day! The guys on Eddies III boat were amazing. The Captain & his staff assisted the children today on the school field trip and make the experience worth while. Several fishes were caught & the staff was right there to cheer the kids in & assist with taking the fish of the hook. I recommend Eddies Boat.

2020-10-18I would be lying if I said I didnt enjoy the atmosphere. Captree is a good place to take a walk and get a breather during your free time. As for the mens restroom, I saw there was no effort to keep it fixed. Cold water only in the sink and the lights were a no show.

2017-07-24We enjoyed a family evening here. We do net fishing, bait fishing, and photo shoot. My niece and nephew were busy catching Pokemon. My dad caught a blue fish on his rod. Its was a memorable evening there. For family recreation its highly recommended.

2020-09-20The Jib VI was a total rip off. Spent $186.00 on tickets, $20 for the pool. Out of the entire boat, not a bite, no fish. Then the crew kept the pool money. 2nd time I got skunked with them. The crew was graphic and I had two kids with me. Not appreciated and not family friendly.

2019-10-16Normally a great place to catch a boat to fish. However kids had the day off, there were close to forty people looking to go out on an evening fish, and not one boat wanted to take us. We hung around for 2 hours waiting from 430 . disappointed the kids. Update your website, they said they were going out till the end of the week on night cruises... very dissatisfied with the way captree fleet handled forty people wanting to pay almost 50 dollars a person for a few hours... I guess Freeport is the place to go out of from now on.
