I had to get license plates for my car ASAP. I came to this place to fascilitate that and after four trips out here and providing every single document they asked for, the issue was not resolved. I ended up having to get an appointment with the DMV anyway to deal with matters ( that had nothing to do with what I needed and did not apply to the situation even though they refused to listen to the information I tried to tell them). That should have been resolved anyway...it did not help and caused more issues than resolved it. I prefer much better quality service and support and accelerated support and immediate resolves with courtesy and professionalism to the customers needs.
Not much to tell. I was in there about 5 minutes. They know exactly what they are doing. They give you service with a smile. Not like the conventional DMV. I just met this crew and I wanted to come back tomorrow. I wish I knew about this years ago.
Place was nice, people were nice. Just extremely expensive. Wish I would of reached out else where before heading to this location. I spent double of what another location was charging, so just be sure to do your research before proceeding and asking before hand. How much it would be. My friend told me 270 I was charged double of it, just to register and change the title to my name.
Quiet place with good customer service. But if you are stopping in to surrender plates just beware that they charge a ridiculous $45 fee just to drop them off. The DMV is free.
This place is great! Fast friendly service and so convenient. I register a few cars a year and they are my go to every time. Highly recommended!

This is probably one of the most convenient places to go to deal with registering a vehicle! Also I work Monday through Friday Open on Saturdays! I only send people here.
I highly recommend going to Car-Co DMV Services instead of the DMV. Just make sure you have all the correct paperwork, mileage info, etc. before going - to save yourself time. No appointments necessary and they have great hours. The only thing is the parking is limited. Everyone we worked with was nice and very helpful.

Highly recommend coming here instead of DMV.. the extra money is worth the time and aggravation you save. Call before and make sure you have all of the paperwork required, they dont make the rules! I was able to walk in on a Saturday morning and walk out in less than 10 minutes!

They don’t ask if you need help. Had to wait about two hours in my car. After they told me to cm pick up my stuff. Not good business. Girls there are rude.

This place is awesome! I was very excited that a bought an old Hot Rod. it was a private sale and I picked it up on a friday evening. I was thrilled to be able to register the vehicle on Saturday morning!!! I was driving all weekend. The staff was very friendly and efficient, NO long lines and bad attitudes like you get at the DMV. of course you pay for the service but it was VERY reasonable. Ill never go to the DMV again.

This was a great experience. I transferred plates to my new car while on my way to work. I was done in 15 minutes. This was well worth the fee for the convenience. Great spot I highly recommend it.

I loved that you can just walk into Car-Co without an appointment. It is an easy way to go register, title and transfer ownerships of vehicles. We started using them in the beginning of 2020 and continue to use them today. The staff is very knowledgeable and they dont hesitate to let you know which paperwork you need or are missing, so you can fill out the correct paperwork and walk right back in when you are ready instead of making another appointment weeks later. The patience they have with Commercial vehicles is the best part. The paperwork also takes the same amount of time to come back from New York State as it would if you went to the larger DMV offices.
They get two stars for how helpful the staff was, however they told me plates and registration would be about two weeks, and it took five, and I got served with a bit of an attitude when I called after three weeks for an update.
Car-Co was so helpful to register & transfer ownership of 4 vehicles. Raina who I believe is the manager was excellent by phone and in person to assist me. I would highly recommend their services. It is well worth the fee and during Covid I did not have to go to the DMV for these 4 vehicles. Thank you!

This place was a rock at the height of the pandemic when the regular Dmv was closed down. I was dealing with a transfer of title on one car and new plates on both of my cars. They walked me through exactly what needed to be filled out and they took care of the rest. Only criticism I have is that they do not answer phone when trying to follow up which made me a bit nervous. However, they know what they’re doing and have a very knowledgeable staff.

I visited the office at the beginning of the pandemic while getting to any DMV was near impossible. The staffs were very professional and courteous. I was able to get the plates for my new car in a timely manner and the price was reasonable.

Im a used car dealer from Island. Ihave to say dealing with Co-Car Dmv has been nothing other then a great experience. The girls are kind fast and professional in every way. Great place and very accommodating and mgr.Riena? Runs good tight ship and always knows the answers. So glad we hooked up with DMV Servs. 👍

I used their services to register a vehicle I purchased out of NY state. While the outcome was ok, their customer service skills are non existent. Walking into their store, no one greeted me. I did get the stink eye from their bouncer. The woman that finally addressed me was curt and rude. I guess they get their staff from the DMV. While they know their stuff, they need soft skills! only use them if you don’t want to make a trip to DMV, you’ll get the same bureaucratic demeanor at the DMV, but you’ll save the ridiculous fees.
Absolutely horrible service... was promised registration and plates within 2 weeks and it’s been more than 3 weeks now. Excuses after excuses...First they answer the phone and place it on hold for close to an hour without ever picking up the call then when you finally get a chance to speak with someone the package from DMV hasn’t arrived and the driver is running late, everyday the batch is delayed. The new excuses was there were missing information on the paperwork do it needed to be redone, how was it redone and I didn’t not sign new paperwork? It’s all a lie. They are by far worst than DMV and everyone that is there waiting for service has a complaint to share while waiting to get service in the office. Still have not received my plates and the manager is never there to speak with you.

I purchased my car from Carvana, to my surprise when it was delivered it had permenant plates on it. I didnt realize it was handled by your company. No problems or issues. I will definitely spread the word to my family and friends.
I finally bought my dream classic car and decided to let CarCo do the required DMV paper work to have it registered. They told me it would take two weeks. After 18 days they never called me. I went to their location on Sunrise Highway , when they finally found my paper work , they apologize because they forgot to file it with the DMV. I demanded to have funds refunded to my credit card and my papers returned. I called DMV and got an appointment for the following week and saved the $ 115.00 they would have charged me. I Do Not recommend this establishment to anyone. They kept $19 for them using their equipment for making copies of my documents. Stay Away.
Car-Co made what can be a tedious and time consuming process of a visit to DMV seamless.
I had to turn in NYS plates for 2 cars that I had reregistered in Virginia. CarCo DMV made the whole turn in easy, and they e-mailed all my receipts for surrender of the plates to my insurance company and to my email also. I recommend them highly

They tried calling 1 time to let me know my plates were in... when I called myself to the office to see if my plates were in I was told no, and that they werent expected to be in until the two week period was up. So I waited until the 2 week date to call again, only to find that the plates had been sitting in the office for 9 days. Upon picking them up, I had 1 day to get the car inspected since the rest of the 10 day grace period had elapsed while plates were sitting in the office with no notification to me. When I complained that this service was unacceptable I was cursed at and they threatened to send the plates back to dmv. Lovely people.
It was my first time using this Car-co and Im happy I did.. I used the chat service they have on their website to ask many questions so I had all the correct paperwork . When we arrived they were friendly and helpful and the transaction was completed in less than 10 mins yay ! I will definitely recommend and use again 😁
Dont want to deal with nasty DMV staff? For a small fee you avoid the long dmv wait and their attitude. Second transaction here and i dont think i’ll use dmv again.
I live in the Bronx. This is the 1st DMV experience that Ive had in NY where the the clerks were, of all things, friendly, proficient, efficient, just totally professional and brisk. I will drive from the Bronx every time for my DMV needs.

FAST AND EASY AND A EASIER WAY TO REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE
I went there for a new title. Took me 4 trips, I love all the way in Suffolk county. I paid cash, debit & credit and paid completely. I got a letter in the mail stating I owe them money when I do not!!! I specifically told them I did not get a receipt when I gave the cash portion of my money. The lady with the medium length black hair helped me and took my money , and 2 cards. This is ridiculous. And they have the nerve to mail the letter saying past due please submit payment to avoid SUSPENSION. Ridiculous. Very unprofessional, I paid my price & their staff does not know how to keep in tract.
Fast and efficient. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Sure you pay a fee, but my time is money and it was worth every penny 👍
When I got my camper in May DMV gave me an appointment for July 13 ! I went to DMV services and had my plates in 7 days great job thank you
Yeah like most review mention the line outside follows 6 feet apart protocol but inside no social distancing rules followed. Its been two weeks and half expecting a call from them. They did responded an email early this week. But the office never picks up the phone. The girls there do help you out assembling the documentation and were very polite to us. But thats about it.
Less than 15 minutes for the process. Very easy. Highly recommended
This place has been my worst nightmare! Bought a motorcycle in early April and unfortunately DMV closed before I could register it. Finally after several weeks of thinking I’ll never get my bike registered I heard about this place. They advertise get registered within 5 days. I went the next day. Short line outside maybe 15 people but after a while noticed it wasn’t moving much. Asked the guy who would come out every once in a while how many people he had working in the office and his response was “a bunch” real sarcastically. I waited on line for about 2 hours when he comes out again and announces its no longer a 5 day wait now it’s 7 days. Ok I thought what can you do better than nothing. Waited another hour and finally got in. Him and 3 girls. He strictly supervising them. One handling dealers another handling all the individuals on line the other doing paperwork. A bunch!Long story short that was a couple of months ago. I still am not registered. The only contact I have with these characters is through e mail and I’ve gotten a variety of telling me I had to be patient to telling me it would be any day to avoiding me altogether. I’m done! I will use whatever I have at my disposal to get my paperwork back so I can do a drop at DMV.If they were the only MV left I would sooner drive illegally than deal with these characters

Whilst their customer service is non existent(no one acknowledges you when you come in and you don’t know if you’ll ever be served because everyone just ignores you), it was easy, I was in and out of there and that’s what’s key.
Rude staff. They do not answer the phone so I drove all the way there only for them to tell me they cannot provide any better service than DMV. No quicker, not helpful with forms or questions. So, what is the point of using them? Masks were half off and half on their faces. Waste of time!
Honestly speaking they are supper nice and friendly.. I cant belive some people gave low stars must be low temper people. but they are supper friendly and knowledgeable. so I would highly recommend them 👌
EVERY employee had their mask completely off or on their chin at some point while i was there. 2 just didnt wear masks at all! Would NOT recommend to anyone afraid for their health.Post reply: I find it appalling that instead of trying to rectify the situation, you came after a review meant to help inform/protect those whome are high risk due to their health.
They never answer the phone directions given by the boss. They tell you a time frame and when it comes they don’t call you and obviously they DONT ANSWER THE PHONE!DONT USE THIS SERVICE!!And for the love of Christ DONT BLAME COVID-19YOUR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!

I really wished that my broker let me know about this company and all the DMV services that were available to me sooner! I was on and out of this office in a few minutes with my registration and new plates in hand! DMV has very limited services and online is a nightmare! I highly recommend Carco DMV Services!

Only got 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option. They will take your money promise you that you’ll have your affairs handled within 2 weeks during Covid-19 pandemic. Then when the 2 weeks come, they won’t answer your phone calls, if you go in person they say yeah too busy mayb tomorrow. There only interested in fees your gonna have to wait regardless so go to DMV DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY Business. Staff of 3 with line of 80 outside. Too busy favorite words
Went to two DMV’s today and one they closed the doors due to a filled 400 capacity with a guaranteed minimal 3 hour wait time just to get a number and the other DMV with a line out the door and around the building and another guaranteed 3 hour wait due to just get a number and wait again to be called. Tried Massapequa DMV the day before and no different all thanks to this ridiculous new rules by our state. I just wanted to return plates. Went to this place and see if it could be done and in 5 minutes I was done. Cost $35 but so what, 5 minutes compared to a whole day and no guarantee. How much is your time worth. Great job and thank you . Will be a return customer and recommend to all. 👍👍👍

Nobody ever answers the phone in that place. Waited forever to get my paperwork from them. Ended up paying for car insurance for months with no car. I will never recommend them to anyone

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Took almost 6 weeks to get plates. I was told today that they have a backlog of 500 files! They have one employee who is completely overwhelmed. They blame DMV for a backlog, but this is not true, it is their own backlog. Go directly to DMV Bethpage - they are processing paperwork in a week or less.DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

They offer ALL STATE PLATES services but the employees dont know anything, in FACT the woman who works there denied twice. I waited in line for almost an hour just to deal with a rude woman denying the service that they advertised in the window sign they have. How stupid is that?

Bad service i registered my vehicle 5 weeks ago and still no Plates. They first said 2-3 weeks then 3-4 then4-5 thats just ridiculous. They WONT pick up the phone at all. You go there for answers and they are just clueless. My first and last time here never again.
Could not have been easier. Filled out forms and got new plates the same day. My pleasure to pay a fee and avoid the DMV.
Went in there June 16th, to get registration done. Was told 2 weeks. Wrote email to company and said to come in and get registration on July 13th. They did not have it. They took my number and said she would call me back later that day. Never heard from her. Emailed her as well and company and havent heard back from anyone. Now its July 20th and no response from anyone.
I can name multiple. Not answering phones is one thing. Short staffed is another. Rude employees. Not practicing cdc guidelines no social distancing measures in place. And extended wait times!
I waited outside at for about 25 min with everyone 6 feet apart. No problem Because I expected to wait. However Inside, 10 people crammed in. All wearing masks but taking them off to talk and eat all while less than 6 ft apart. One guy took of his mask to eat candy. All the while he his nose was dripping. He kept wiping his nose with his hands and then put his hands all over the counter. I left but he continued to chew and spew droplets in a crowded room and no one stopped him.
This was the best to go to carco office in bellmore and get my new used car license plates in 10 minutes.
Great people good service. A bit on the expensive side youll pay roughly double what the dmv charges. IE i lost my front plate they charged me 75.00 I know the DMV charges 28.00
Car-Co is the best way to handle your DMV needs. I went to DMV twice and was unable to complete what I needed to do. Ended up going to Car-Co and was in and out with the plates I needed in less that 30 minutes. Definitely recommend using them.

The service here is terrible. I registered my car over a month ago and my registration was suppose to come two weeks ago and hasn’t yet came in the mail. I’m trying to call and contact almost everyday and still nothing. The phone rings for minutes and no one picks up the phone. Still have no update on my registration.
Very poor Customer service I will suggest going to dmv . Save yourself the extra 80$ its not worth i was there on Thursday 11/1/18 afternoon they hustle through my paper work made me sign my documents in front of the them had to wait two days. (no problem ) went back today 11/5/18 to collect my tags and they said I need to sign it over . They said they call me to rectify it that was a lie as I took out my phone and show there was no calls from u guys . So it cost me 100$ and still have to go dmv myself . Please people try finding time to go dmv yourself. Stay away from dmv services .BELLMORE LOCATION. unprofessional workers.

Dont bother calling them, they will not answer!Every single time I go there they say, oh tomorrow, tomorrow, maybe tomorrow...They dont have an idea of where the paperwork is, they dont help you when you have questions! I read about car co and recently had the requirement of visiting them and using their services.the building is bright and well marked so i didnt miss it traveling along sunrise highwaythere is ample parking on the side streets and i found it convenient to park a half block away.there are line markers in the outdoor waiting lines allowing many people to practice social distancingwhile the office processes other clients needs.i entered and was cordially greeted and ushered to a counter area allowing for the 6 foot rule.they inquired about what i needed and then said that they perform that service (surrendering plates). i was told the fee and told what i would be receiving (the receipt for the insurance company) they were very professional and greeted me as a valued client.upon leaving i reviewed with them what i had received and they assisted me in letting me know what i had to do . i was very satisfied treated quite well and the process demonstrated to me their concern for all the client safety - i will recommend them to those of my friends that require their services and will not hesitate to use them again - it will not only be my first call but my only call for dmv services - to joey capone hats off to you and mille grats (1000 thanks)gene schroer

NO STARS!!!!!This place is bogus!!! Big sign on the window stating, Driver’s License Renewal/Replacement. I took my son there to renew his license, he waited on line outside in the heat due to COVID-19 social distancing, got inside waited more time because of the slow service just to find out they cant renew his license even though the big sign states Driver’s License Renewal/Replacement!!!!!
Gave them my paperwork in late August for them to register my used car. Turns out its a salvage, they did not pick it up when I gave them the title. That delayed me about 2 weeks, Now they have to send the paperwork to Albany, I went down to pay an extra fee just for them to mail it to Albany. Months go by, I call and call and no one can answer my questions and Regina NEVER calls back. I got my State Senator involved to see whats going on, I then find out they mailed my paperwork a month and a half after they originally told me. Now 4 months after I gave them the paperwork and paid them a significant amount of money, I did hear from Albany. They sent me back my paperwork because it was not filled out properly. 4 months and hundreds of dollars down the drain. Save you money and just go to DMV yourself, I wish I had

STAY AWAY I waited online for hour Only to have people cutting the line and when I complained to the employees I was told the boss called they’re allowed to cut the line. This place is horrible and provides zero service they advertise. I will not go back there ever again after having me go there 5 times to fill out more and more paper work for a trailer they said they can register a customized no problem. As well as after my 5 visits for the paper work to be filled out only led to never even getting my trailer registered. Moral of the story dont waste your time here, the employees are clueless!

Horrible!!!!!!! ,,, long wait time and I get it during quarantined but under staffed, staff on phone instead of helping guests,,,, over priced. Not worth it. Would have just waited instead. Would have given 0 stars if I could.

The worst experience I am trying to recieve my plates and it has been 4 weeks and I have been trying to call. Whats the point of having a phone number if you arent going to answer the phone.

2022-07-22Car-co DMV Services is delightful. Their workers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. No line to stand on like at DMV. You are in and out in no time. Just call them and ask what paperwork you need to fill out and bring with you and they will let you know and take care of you when you walk in the door. The fee is reasonable especially when you are a corporation trying to take care of a lot all at once.

2022-07-27During the height of the Covid Pandemic, I needed a car I havent driven in over a year registered. Getting done through the normal process was none existent with the DMV. So I went to Car-Co DMV Services and got the car registered with new tags. They really handled what I needed efficiently. I recommend their services.

2022-05-19My experience with DMV services put me back in the drivers seat with all my needed credentials. When most Local DMV locations were shut down due to the pandemic. This company was there to assist, a small fee and I got my license Plates ,and vehicle registration all ready for me pick up in a matter of minutes. Great organization, for those that dread the get a number and wait ,and wait , and wait only find that you missed your turn when you went the rest room . Tired of that ,? Than I highly recommend ,as I have to family and friends and you to stop by DMV services for your DMV needs . Safe Driving.

2022-06-30I needed to renew my registration and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The only issue I had over the phone I was told I would have to pay an additional $50 fee but when I got there they told me it was $60, otherwise I was very satisfied.
