Enterprise Rent-A-Car in other cities:
My first time renting from Enterprise/National car rental at Stewart International Airport New Windsor, NY....From the booking to the return of the vehicle everything went as planned and on time. The vehicle was excellent and it made my trip easier knowing getting there and back would be with no problems...The gentleman that helped with my booking was Zachary Ciraolo, Enterprise Rent-A-CarDual Brand Branch Rental Manager for Enterprise & National atStewart International Airport. Everyone working there went beyond helping in anyway they could. We were so please with the kindness and care given that this is the only place I will be renting from now on and I will be telling everyone I know how good they were. I have 2 more trips for this year and cant wait...Thank you again Zachary for making my trip a great one....Sincerely Frances Scriber, Clintondale, NY 9/10/18
The manager and staff delivered! Not only did they respond promptly to my questions, they also worked hard to get the vehicle I requested. During my rental, a few minor issues surfaced, but they were addressed and resolved quickly and smoothly. This team went above and beyond! I am totally satisfied and look forward to renting from this location and company in the future.
Excellent service from the Enterprise Rental at Stewart Airport, Newburgh NY. Only reason Im giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is the Toll Device was not registered. When we tried to go through the drive through toll lane it would not let us through. Held up traffic until they told us it had not been registered. Called Enterprise Customer Service. They said we could either take it back to the airport, or go on through the toll lanes as we would be covered. I did not feel comfortable running the toll lanes, and taking it back was not an option. When we checked in the car they did take the cost of the toll device off our bill. But it was an inconvenience. Other than that excellent service.
After returning to the US after a 15 hour travel day, the absolute best part was claiming our rental car only 50 feet from passing through customs. Within 15 minutes of reaching the counter, we were on our way (another 2 hour drive) to our final destination. Even after encountering a small technical glitch with the reservation, the service at the Stewart Airport location was able to overcome the obstacle and complete the transaction. After 15 years of working in customer, this experience is the kind that all companies strive to provide. Kudos to your team.As someone who travels and takes advantage of rental transportation regularly, this experience will certainly keep Enterprise at the top of my list for years to come. Thank you.
The skills of the manager and the sales person that handled our car rental were superb. They really extended their efforts to ensure that our rental experience was pleasant and seamless. I highly recommend this car rental location. They deserve to have 6 stars.Dr. Woods
A very good rental experience with Enterprise. The Newburgh airport is a great small facility, on the day we picked up the car it was very quiet, so that helps. We had reserved a small sedan, Hyundai Elantra or similar, and were asked if we would like a free upgrade to a small SUV. I said sure and was handed the keys to a BMW X3 !! ( We had shopped rental rates and thought they were high but figured the short two-day term and post hurricane demand were factors....the BMW made it a pretty good deal )The desk agent helped me steer clear of insurance upsell ( a very nice change from the usual pressure to raise the cost ) and assured us that the little scuffs on the bumpers were normal wear and tear, no extensive analysis of existing flaws required. We enjoyed two days of rolling in style, one of the nicest vehicle I have driven. Drop-off at the Baltimore airport was fast and efficient. We shall return to Enterprise Rent-A Car !
Always a pleasure to rent from this location. The staff does what they can to get you out of the line, and into the vehicle as quickly as possible.I have always been welcomed as a returning guest, and asked about my day.My cars are usually what I would expect (except this visit my car was the poster child for why smoking in a car makes people pissed). And I frequently this location so I am certain this was a one off situation.Be certain to get a receipt - and if you drop off during the off-hours, you might have to do a follow-up call...I do really enjoy the team here, and the location is so convenient.
Horrible customer service. The manager asked me to get a replacement car from the lot since my original rental had mechanical issues. The manger told me he would meet me at the terminal curb with my paperwork and I would be on my my way.Needing to get back on the road I found my automobile in the lot. Immediately, I noticed the vehicle was dirty and smelled like vomit. However, I figured I would take this up with manager curb side at the terminal .Upon arrival curbside outside the airport I waited 50 minutes! The manager never showed up. Finally, I ran inside and asked why he had not met me curbside as stated. He instructed me that I should have left the automobile curb side unattended and come back to the rental car desk despite numerous state police and posted signs instructing travelers not to park curbside. To get this resolved I had return to my original rental with mechanical issues and proceed to another branch where I received excellent, attentive and professional customer service.Enterprise you really need to step you game up in the quality and cleanliness of your vehicles.
If you like the Seinfeld experience of taking and confirming the reservation but not holding it, go for it. Reserved a car, received confirmation, then when I went to actually get the car was told that there werent any. Asked how they were going to make it right and was told to try another company and not to make it harder than it was.So Im sorry for making it hard on you to strand me, that must have been very frustrating for you Ms Enterprise representative.Try Hertz instead. Renting from then as a walk up was far more pleasant than Enterprise with a reservation
After a reservation was accidentally canceled, Zack, the manager at the Stewart Intl Airport location, bent over backwards to get me the car I had originally rented (but that was subsequently snagged by someone else). We had a blast driving around upstate in our Jeep Wrangler. Thank you, Zack! Incredible customer service.
Location manager, Mr. Zack Ciraolo truly understands the meaning of Customer Service and will bend over backwards to make every customer extremely happy. His management style is reflected in each team member at Stewart Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I have rented from, Zack at Enterprise many times and at other locations domestically and abroad for business as well as personal. I can honestly say Zack and his team have provided unsurpassed service with a friendly first class attitude. They have a very large selection of vehicles to choose from at good prices. I realize this review may sound like a commercial for Enterprise, it is not. It is meant as an honest review of the Enterprise crew and its manager, Zack at Stewart Airport. If one must rent a car in this area there is no other location to rent from than Zacks at Stewart Airport Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
I have rented cars from Enterprise many times over the years but this latest rental has caused me to wonder what has happened at Enterprise. I made arrangements for a rental car at Stewart International Airport for a Saturday noon to Sunday rental at a total cost of $70.69.. We drove no more than 60 miles to and from Mohonk Mountain House On our return before 11 AM on Sunday I bought $5.61 of gas to refuel the car. I asked and the Enterprise agent on duty agreed, I could leave the car at Airborne Aviation where our aircraft was parked and Enterprise would retrieve the car.The next day I received notice from American Express that the charge for the rental was in excess of $155.00. I tried, but found it impossible, to call and reach the local agency directly to find out what was going on. I called Enterprise Customer Support.I was told the added charges were to refuel the car because it had been driven hundreds of miles, had not been refueled and was returned late. I objected strenuously to the added charges. I was asked, can you prove what the mileage was when you picked up the car. I replied there was no outbound mileage on the papers given to me but the return mileage was written on the paper work I left with Airborne, the Airborne agent had authority to accept the car and time-stamp the date and time of return which I had watched her do.After several long delays on hold the Customer Service Agent told me, first a portion of the excess charges would be removed and when I objected to this, I was finally told all excess charges would be removed. I asked for but received no explanation of why this all happened.Lessens learned: Check and record the outbound and inbound mileage, keep refueling receipts, review the final charges carefully, be persistent when you know you are right, and, in addition be sure to take pictures of the car on return.
Had an issue with the rental I picked up in Illinois and needed to trade it out since it is not a short drive back to Illinois from New York. The manager zach was phenomenal when it came to the whole process. I love enterprise could not say a single bad thing about any of them! Huge thank you to the enterprise team in Stewart airport as well as the Peoria IL location!
Do yourself a favor and rent from anybody else... made reservations days in advance and called to make sure that my age wouldnt be a problem. My boss and I mustve called a total of 16 times only to get hung up on or transferred back to an automated machine when we were told we were going to get transferred to a different department. When I finally got in touch with a lady that seemed to know what she was talking about she sent an email to a supervisor of the location I was supposed to be renting this car from. He called me while I was at work and left a message telling me to email him to provide the information that he would need to rent me the car. I emailed him first thing the next day and got ignored till the time I was supposed to pick up the car. I had to take a break from work to call the place again where I got connected with a man that basically told me I was SOL because it was too late to get my information to corporate... so basically I get screwed over because the your supervisor didnt care enough to respond to me? I dont think so. Never again. Ill be speaking to the company that was renting me the car and telling them how bad this experience was along with my manager.
They didnt even earn a one star. Was sent to that location by Enterprise after an accident with my rental. Young man would not help and because it was before opening, he would not take calls from the company! Enterprise resolved the issue and I was left there for 3 hours with a damaged car he said they wouldnt take while they did. He was grossly misinformed! He should be fired or retrained on dealing with people in stressful situations!
Nobody at the counter for 15 minutes when we got off the plane despite our arrival time in the reservation. Once he arrived the person was very nice. Car was supposedly a premium SUV-- none of the plugs worked and we could not charge our phones. It was horrific as we were home for a funeral and needed to stay in touch.
Edited to add : the address you suggest I write to doesnt work. It claims unable to recieve emails. Not the best customer service. Two stars. Nice people work for you, flawed system. AND I wasnt going to bother leaving this review, but since the emails asking for one havent seemed to stop.... here you go.I reseved a car via the web, especially because I was reserving a car to drive to the airport the week of Thanksgiving. When I went to pick it up the details were incorrect. The associate had in her system that i was returning to my pick up location. As it was the Tuesday before thanksgiving, the cost of what I originally tried to get was more than doubled. The customer service people were competent and polite. BUT. They informed me that this happens all the time.Essentially, the website resets any detail on your order if you go back to look at it before you confirm it. NOT OK. I had to pay double the cost of renting the car to drive to the airport, just to leave it at my destination. The signs to get to and through your lot at JFK are seriously lacking, it did not feel safe at night. When I finally got there, the first guy could not come out of his station to direct me, and when I reached the back building/office there was nothing to say what to do. When the associate in the office finished with his client he came out to check in my car and tell me it was ok, this time that i was in the wrong spot. Hire more than one person for one of tge busiest travel days of the year. I have rented many cars to drive to many airports including JFK. Never has anything this annoying happened. Never and NEVER AGAIN with Enterprise. I will happily pay $8.00 mote and go with the other company.
We have rented from Enterprise many many times over the years. This time we rented online and picked up the car at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY. When we returned the car the price was $150 more then we booked it for, with strange taxes added to it. This was not told to us when we booked. Tax is expected but not $150 more. We tried to talk to the agent at the airport and he blew us off in a very unprofessional way. This will be our last time using Enterprise.
Bad business practices.I dont know how their reps get paid, but if I had to guess Id say theyre HEAVILY commission based to the point of blatantly lying to get more money out of me. After being pushed to upsell several times, I told the rep that I didnt want a bigger car, didnt need any insurance and didnt want to pay more than I had already purchased. But after signing the waiver to decline additional coverage, they still decided to charge me for it. When I returned, my bill was 150% MORE than what I had contractually agreed to.After calling and being passed around their corporate customer service system for a while, an escalations rep finally agreed to remove the charge. If you rent a car here, ALWAYS double check what theyre charging you! Stealing from people and hoping they dont realize it is not a way to run a sustainable business.
Wonderful experience! I had mistakenly canceled my rental just before picking it up. Joe (or John, I cannot recall which), was patient and very helpful. We ended up getting a better deal Tham the original reservation. The upgrade was beyond our expectation. Great, friendly staff.
Excellent and courteous service at Stewart Intl Airport, and also at my more frequently used outlets in Oakland NJ and Tampa FL on Hillsborough Ave. Cars were clean and never had performance issues. Requested car and/or suitable substitute and always available on time.
Brittany Diggs is amazing!!We ordered our car from the wrong city and Brittany not only went above and beyond to organise a new booking for us but also got our spirits up with her charismatic personality... It was our first day on our vacation and what could have been a complete disaster with our mix up turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Brittany is the real MVP!!!

2022-04-28Enterprise is almost always a disaster regardless of location, but the one at Stewart is a true headache. First, be aware that you have to go to the terminal of the airport to check-in and then walk from the terminal back to the car lot to actually pick the car up. And because there aren’t enough employees at this location to actually have one walk with you to the car, if there are any issues (key doesn’t work, car has been smoked in, etc), you then have to walk all the way back the terminal, stand in line, and start all over again. I also particularly hate that there isn’t a local phone number for you to call - all calls get routed through the main system with call attendants that have NO information about specific locations. It’s a mess. Find a better system.

2022-06-03Wednesday I arrive at Newark airport. They don’t do the check list- I drive upstate NY discover my passenger side window doesn’t work. It start raining, I get to my friends house we cover the window. The next day we call (3) different enterprise co., monticello, Middletown ‘ Newburg. No one had solutions. We head to Stewart airport where there’s no one at the booth. We enter the airport, enterprise counter finally someone tells us to drop off key at drop box & come back into terminal for new car. Horrendous I will never use enterprise again- the Newburg location didn’t have details like, drop off keys & go to the airport counter. Uninformed total incompetence . Wasted a whole morning dealing w this & not w my friend

2020-05-08I absolutely love the service that Enterprise gives. Especially when they have a phenomenal agent like Rachel Sullivan working for them! She always greets her customers with a bright and bubbly personality which especially takes the stress out of having to get a rental when you’re doing it for an emergency, or last minute. Her customer service skills are above phenom and it’s a plus that she has great knowledge about the vehicles she is putting you in. I have an Enterprise within 5 mins of my house but choose to rather take the 20 minute drive to Stewart International to deal specifically with her as I always call ahead to assure that she’s there. Thank you Rachel and Enterprise Rental for the outstanding service you’ve continued to give me!

2020-12-28My fiancé made a reservation through their app for a car to take us from PA back home to FL. Since the Enterprise at this airport location was closed the day he made the reservation, he called the next closest one just to make sure everything would be good to go for the rental. The lady he spoke with was helpful and even changed our reservation time for us so we could give the Stewart airport more time to get our car ready for us after they opened. The day of our reservation we took a taxi to the airport from our hotel, which cost us $100, and upon arrival they tell him he can’t pick the car up because he doesn’t have a plane ticket. Throughout the entire process online and even speaking to someone at a nearby airport we weren’t informed of their new policy. Even while making the reservation it asked if he had a plane ticket to which he put down that he didn’t and it still let him go through the process. They refused to give him a car even though we had a reservation and noticed several other people had the same issue of being able to make a reservation just to find out they weren’t able to pick up the car. We were stuck at the airport for several hours trying to call nearby Enterprises to see if any had available cars for that day and a lot of times were transferred to the reservation/escalation dept. and everyone we spoke to also noticed there was nothing on their end specifying that only ticketed customers were being served at the location we were at. We were finally able to find a car but for the following day and have them price match our new reservation to our old one at a different airport location. This location should really put it in their app/website that they are not renting cars to any customers unless they have a plane ticket so other people don’t have to go through what we went through! I understand why they might have this new policy in place at the moment but at least put it somewhere on your website so your customers can see.

2020-02-12I just wanted to say how awesome the team at enterprise is at Stewarts airport! Kent and Amila were so nice and accommodating when my car broke down and i had to get a rental last minute! all the other enterprises in the area were closed on Sunday- but they were there and greeted us with big smiles! they made a tough day easier to handle. they were also awesome since i really didnt know my return date since my car broke and had to have it towed to the nearest dealership. definitely recommend renting from them!

2020-07-14We rented a MIDSIZE vehicle for the week. We were given the 2020 Toyota Corolla - in terms of size this is much SMALLER than what I would consider a MIDSIZE vehicle. The interior of the car was a complete mess and clearly had not been cleaned previous to our rental with Coca-cola stains all over the interior (seats, dash, etc.) I did not have time to go back in to stand in line for another vehicle, however was forced to clean up the stains during my vacation after arriving at my destination. Enterprise was kind enough to give us $30 discount for our troubles. The minor discount and great vehicle gas mileage are the only reason this gets 2 stars. Usually have great experiences with Enterprise, however they missed their mark on this rental experience.

2019-07-02I dont leave many reviews, but wanted to leave one for Kent Cintron, Branch Manager at Enterprise at Stewart International Airport. It was a holiday weekend and we had no reservation--2 kids under 10 years old. All the other rental places simply said, were sold out in short-tempered voices. But Kent at Enterprise took a completely different approach. He treated us kindly and said that he would go back and count keys to see if there might be a way to get us into a car that day--and he did. Saved our trip! Later he helped us out yet again when we decided to switch drop-off airports. Excellent service from a guy who will eventually will be moving up the corporate ladder at Enterprise, I have no doubt. In any case, he earned our loyalty, and will use Enterprise on future trips.

2019-04-02Upon my arrival into Stewart Airport, I was met by Enterprise Agent, Zachary Ciraolo who greeted me and make sure my rental needs were properly service. As it turned out Zackary, was the Branch Rental Manager who stated if there were any issues, please contact him. I was given a 2019 Dodge Ram with 130 miles. Returning the truck , I was promptly greeted and provided outstanding service by the Enterprise Agent. I will always use Enterprise for my rental needs.

2018-10-05Ive had good experiences with Enterprise before. I will probably not use this location again. I had reservations for a compact car, ended up getting there late. They tried to tell me they only had a pickup truck, a minivan, or maybe an SUV. I agreed to the SUV, got going on my trip, and they called me saying I had to bring that SUV back due to a recall from the manufacturer. I went back and they happened to have another SUV there, that they hadnt mentioned before. Customer service just was not great, and the interesting timing of the recall made the experience less than convenient.

2018-07-16Arrived at Enterprise, Stewart Airport Office, ahead of schedule and was served by Branch manager Zachary Ciraolo. Great Service from start to finish. He went out of his way to help when complications arose and took time to ensure everything ran smoothly. The vehicle we rented was brand new and better than I had expected. Zachary showed us round the vehicle, gave good local advice and made sure we were organised for the toll roads. First class service. Would use again and recommend to anyone.
