Claim was filed, he had Geico which covers my rental, I made a reservation showed up was given options. But since I preferred a small car agent then said all they have is the upgrade that the insurance doesnt cover. Waste of time & extremely unsatisfied potential customer. FOH!!!!!!!!You have my info. You should contact me if anything.And your agent should have offered the upgraded SUV for the price of the regular small car since that is all Enterprise had to offer. The nerves, customer service sucks & the Agent couldnt have cared less.
Liars!! Took my car back 4 days after purchase because automatic lights did not come on. The manager. Tall slim light skinned man turned on high beams and sent me on my way. This was my first car so I didnt know better. Financing company wanted to have employers direct number which I felt was too invasive. I had to start over... Dont do it!!
Top notch customer service from the entire team. I’ve had quite a few rentals in the past from several other enterprise locations throughout NYC and my best experiences have been from this particular location. Andrew assisted me in the process and he went out of his way to get me into the car I wanted despite the limited availability on their lot. Highly recommended!
I used to love renting with enterprise. I understand that through COVID they have a lot of restrictions. However this time around service just seems to mean nothing to companies anymore. Enterprise will always pick me up and drop me off, that’s why I use to love renting with them. This time around I called and was told by the customer service representative that she was alone and I had to reserve with more time in advance and couldn’t pick me up, so I took a Uber at my own expense. I arrive to the location and to my surprise there were two people working, so I didn’t say anything. Go back the next day to drop off the car I ask for a ride back and was told they now only drop off at mechanic shops. So they are just avoiding assuring you and are beating around the bush , lucky for me hertz it’s still great!
If I could give zero stars I would. I just got off the phone with the rudest, most curt person Ive ever dealt with at any Enterprise location. I was attempting to modify a reservation so I could drop the car off out of state, and was in the midst of giving this ogre my confirmation number (to be, you know, helpful) when she just started talking over me saying she didnt need the info and that no locally rented vehicles were being permitted to be taken out of the immediate area. Thats annoying, but reasonable and I would have been (and in fact, am) perfectly prepared to accept this. What was really enraging was the lack of courtesy. Im sure that -- in the unlikely event I get a response to this -- Ill be told all about how this person was busy/under stress/having a bad day. I dont really care. Be professional.
Quick transaction with a limited staff. Everyone wore a mask, and were dressed as business professionals. Made my reservation in advance, and my vehicle waiting upon arrival. This has always been, and will continue to be my go to rental spot. I will be returning soon. Thanks again!
My experience at Enterprise East Elmhurst was absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and not pushy at all. Arthur helped myself and my family! He was so helpful and kind. It was my moms birthday and he even had the office sing happy birthday. I would recommend this location to any first time car buyers or anyone who wants to be treated kindly and respectful.Thank you so much Enterprise for this amazing experience.
An unfortunate accident occurred when a tree uprooted and fell on my car. Due to this, I was able to rent a car and later purchase a vehicle through this location.Enterprise Car Rental - My boyfriend and I were taken car of by Kenny, who made this whole ordeal stress free. The professionalism and amazing customer service we received allowed us to be more comfortable. We received a great rental that met our needs and any questions my boyfriend or I had was answered. He also mentioned to us that they sell cars, which I didnt know, and before I know it, Im receiving a call from Enterprise Car Sales.Enterprise Car Sales - First and foremost, thank you Sheryl. You made my car buying experience truly effortless and stress free. Every single person who worked in this office was professional, easy going, and helpful. Sheryl and team took care of everything. I appreciated the staight forwardness and always answering any questions or concerns I may have had. The office itself was clean. Snacks and beverages were offered. I left with my new car, a smile on my face, and a weight lifted off my shoulders.I honestly recommend this location should anyone need to buy or finance a vehicle.
Let me just say I was extremely nervous about buying a car due to prior negative experiences and past credit issues. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER I encountered was professional, patient and very friendly. I worked with Mr.Evans who was punctual and started working immediately after I was offered coffee and water. I wasn’t really sure what car I wanted but after seeing one car and going for a test drive, I was sold. We returned to the office for paper work. The DMV website gave me such a run around with documents however, Mr.Evans remained patient and also assisted myself in making sure I received the most affordable insurance. Shortly after, I encountered Ms.Trisha where she explained more in depth of the financial aspect of it. Everybody works with urgency and makes it their business to ensure customer’s are happy and well taken care of. My paper work was finalized and I’m beyond grateful for my experience here at Enterprise!!!! Thank you guys!!!!
Dave Henry was absolutely amazing, the process was a bit long because my bank was unable to verify me on time but Dave was really patient and waiting with me until I finally received approvalGreat group of people here and I am happy I chose enterprise car sales to purchase my car. From a HORRIBLE personal experience, I feel disgust having to give at least one star for this location. Let me tell you my story.I did not personally rent a car from here, but this was the return location I had been told by a customer representative from Enterprise. The night before I had to return my rental car, I specifically asked the representative how to return a car during the closed hours since Ive never done it before, and my flight is at 6am. This person told me to simply safely parked the car, then drop off the car key in the after-hour drop off key box by the return location. The early morning of my flight, I arrived at this location. I parked the car, then walked all around the building twice and could not find a drop off box. I tried to contact the company but they were unavailable due of the office hours. I did not know what better to do, so I decided to keep the car key with me and will try to contact the company later on.As soon as my flight arrived, the first thing I did was to call this location explained my situation to see if they have any of my information to return the car or any suggestion to help. I spoke to TIM, and I feel like I need publicly say this that this TIM person was the most irresponsible person Ive ever spoke to. He was not willing to help, or given any direction to solve the problem. Completely rejected. All he said was I am responsible for the car until when its returned, then hung up on me.I got off the phone with him, tried to contact the Enterprise customer service. The story with this company can go on and on, which will take another whole year. A few hours later, I decided to try this location again hoping to speak to someone else that can help. A person name MICHELLE picked up the phone. I explained the situation to her (again), I even mentioned how I spoke with TIM earlier and he was a no help. MICHELLE at first showed me that she cared and listened to me as Im trying to clear out the circumstance, THEN she putted me on hold said that shell be back, BUT she reconnected me right back to TIM. Thanks, MICHELLE!All Im saying is, my story can go ridiculously long, but all that aside, be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when renting a car from Enterprise and especially this location. I hope nobody will be in the same situation as I did, because things can go fine but when you need some help or some advice from them, no matter how hard you try, I wish you best luck learning your lesson, as I did learn mine.
East Elmhurst is my hometown. I was not surprised at the classiness of Astoria Blvd. Enterprise site. I got hit by a driver that left the scene and had to go to Enterprise for a rental bec. of the insurance company. Nice, friendly fellas who work like your time is worth something! Had to upgrade slightly but the o.o.p. expense is minimal. The place is clean and organized. There was no wait event though it was a Friday afternoon.
Rented a full-size SUV for a week beginning on Christmas Eve 2016. Enterprise called me several days ahead to confirm my booking and took several minutes to answer my questions and concerns. I was very concerned that if my plane was late that they wouldnt be there to give me my vehicle, or that they would change my rental to a compact car when I had 5 people and several bags for a 7-hour trip upstate. The Enterprise employee verified that I was confirmed for a large SUV and assured me that I would get that vehicle, and also assured me that even though the location was closing early that day that if I called ahead then someone would be there to get me my car if my plane was delayed. My flight ended up being on time and the manager there was very professional and quick to get me on the road once I arrived at their location. The SUV was in great shape, all clean, and ready to go. From the time I was first called to the time I dropped off the vehicle, the staff was extremely professional and courteous. I would DEFINITELY rent from them again! Kudos to management at that location....it was evident that they make customer service a top priority! Thanks Enterprise on Astoria!
I am basically speechless, with regards to the service I received at this location. Great customer service. They work with you, and try their best to help in whatever way they can. They will not leave you hanging. Justin and Napoleon are the best. Teamwork is great in this office, from the moment you walk in they are ready to help you. No waiting. Love them. You get in, and out in no time.
After a stressful experience of losing our beloved car in an accident a few weeks ago, then starting what seemed like an everlasting search for a used vehicle that we know for sure is safe, affordable, reliable with a clean title and history, learning about Enterprise car sales was a gift! They made the process clear, easy and no fuss. They help with everything - transferring registration of vehicle, changing insurance details and securing financing. The sales reps at this location were super professional and kind. Sheryl even picked up the car we wanted from another location to bring it to her store so we could drive home that day!! I have been contemplating on whether i should finance a car with Honda or Nissan, i discovered that Enterprise is selling cars i had no idea about, I contacted Enterprise on Astoria Blvd and had the pleasure to work with Alex Oh , I called an hour before they closed he was willing and able to wait for me and was super patient with me and explained everything so well, he made it so easy for me to make the best decision i went on the lot a few times he always kept a smile on and he was amazing he let me test drive a few cars, I recommend Alex Oh to all my family and friends and to all the google readers looking to make a finance purchase on a vehicle go see my guy Alex Oh he was great and continues to provide excellent service even after i drove off, he got me the best deal and he got me a full tank of gas and mats !!!! I admired her no pressure tacticsShe was knowledgeable about the product, she was kind and courteous. That goes a long way in my book!
I booked a car for $500- at LAGA airport for my vacation. I live in NYC but the rates are cheaper at the airport. I booked on one of the sites to find inexpensive car rentals.When I got to the airport ( with my family waiting at home for me to pick them up for our vacation) I was told that if I were using a debit card at the airport you needed to show a plane ticket. On the website I booked the car it said nothing about this policy. It only stated that a $250- extra hold would be put on my card. This was fine and expected.I arrived at the airport with only a debit card and my license.The manager explained the policy was on their website!!!Legally dont you think that if they advertise on other websites they would have to also disclose all policies????!!!!My only option was to take a taxi 5 minutes away ( now I am up to over $60- in taxi/ car service fares) and rent a smaller car ( rented an SUV) for over $1,200-.Then to top it off, I had no idea after the car was returned to the parking garage ( which someone checked in gas and mileage for me and wrote it down) because no one would be there from enterprise until 3. A week later they were calling my older daughter who I had listed as an emergency contact.They cant explain why they were calling my daughter because it was a week later they had charged my credit card for the car which with all taxes and whatever over $1,500 !I started with a car rental for $503-!!!!!!I think there are some legal issues here.
I rent from enterprise every week. And these people turned me away because I had just renewed my license and didnt have the new one. every other enterprise location has accepted it except this location. and they had a terrible attitude and were not helpful. Go to a different location!!!
I always rent from this enterprise location. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you step into the door. They make the process so quick and smooth. Kevin and Alex are fantastic in their service and attention. Thank you for the experience I will always be coming back to your location!
My experience with Enterprise was very pleasant. I was on a short vacation with a group of 20 people in NYC on the week of October 28, 2019. We rented three SUVs. Upon picking up the vehicles, there were several things that were a hurdle when renting the vehicles, but the two young men solved it for us in know time at all. Ill never forget how patient, very helpful & accommodating the youngmen were. They made our trip so o o much more easier & pleasant. Thanks Enterprise ! Im not sure at the moment of how Enterprise could have made our trip much better.
A wonderful lady by the name of Dee assisted me with the rental. She picked me up after my accident and took me to Enterprise in order to start the process. She was very pleasant and professional. The management of this location went above and beyond with making sure I was accomadated and made sure to follow-up with me at every point throughout the day after my accident. In short, they made my day much easier. Thank you!
The rep, Yvonne was amazing and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. My only concern is cars are not cleaned before being put out for rent forcing the rental agent to rent cars and clean them as well. A Porter is def needed at this location for a smoother rental and better experience

I got my vehicle from this place was not satisfied with the customer service then when back again to check if they had new personnel with my friend I actually told her lets go there they have their best prices but once I got there you went around the lot checking vehicles Noone approached us we had to go inside after 30 looking and waiting not satisfied at all sorry I went back here , I decided to go to the one on Long Island and he was a real sales person thats how Is supposed to treat your customers.
If I could give this 0 stars i would. I hate to sit down behind a key board and belittle someone’s business but this is absurd. I reserved a car to pick up at airport location . Once we arrive the location doesn’t have that car. And even though the website says they take debit card this location apparently didn’t. So my fiancé is made to walk to another location which they have where they take debit card. Once he gets there they say they need a bill with proof of address. We send them a bill with his name and proof of address but that bill isn’t good enough . It has his name and the address! And it was a bill! But we couldn’t get a car even tho we made a reservation and went through hell just to find out we couldn’t walk out with a rental. On top of this, and I’m putting the description of him because I forgot to get his name, a Caucasian somewhat bald man who was attending to us had the audacity to say “you can keep trying” but ignored my fiancé completely once he tried to ask another question. Walked past my fiancé as if he couldn’t hear or see him and help another customer with a comeplty different attitude and energy , my fiancé felt super discriminated, ignored and insulted with the way he was speaking. We had an 11 am cake pick up appt. had family ready waiting for me to head to New Jersey for a shower. And they do this? After I reserved everything and on top had the audacity to have a disgusting attitude with my fiancé when my fiancé was kind and calm the entire time. I will never again reserve anything with this company.
It was a very pleasant experience! I was picked up and dropped off at my auto body location. The staff was courteous and friendly. They even offered to take the items I left in the car that I was donating to charity to donate for me. Overall, I higbly recommend Enterprise in East Elmhurst.It is easily accessible to highways as well.
I bought an Infiniti 2017 today! To start, its my first car and a large purchase. I was fortunate enough to have Trisha Johnson to walk me through the process. The moment my sisters and I walked through the door we were greeted with a smile. I didnt feel hassled or pressured to make a purchase.Trisha was so amazing because i wasnt sure i was able to keep my appointment because of my newborn. She sent me a message the night before letting me know the car was dropped off from another location and available for a test drive lf Im able to make it. I thought that was amazing because she took the time to make sure if i made it, the car was available.Trish was easy to talk to, knowledgeable and smiled the entire time. Unprecedented service from a car rental. Every employee from the manager to the counter person to the car shuttle guy was extremely professional and helpful. They have a car shuttle that will bring you to a location within a 3 mile radius once you have dropped off your rental.
Wow . I work for United Airlines , one of our passengers rented a car from Enterprise rental, but he forgot to return the keys. He asked me if i could call them and see if they would retrieve the keys from the airport since he didnt have time , he would miss the flight. I called them, the person from Enterprise customer care said to just get rid of the keys. That they will charge the person. I will never rent from Enterprise if this is the level of service they provide.
I purchased a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country from this Enterprise location on 1/9/18 and my review is long overdue. The Friday before I had went to another car dealership and had one of the worst car shopping experiences of my life! Being I had been approved a car loan from MCU and MCU was connected to Carfax I figured it would be a hassle free experience and as stated it wasnt.I put on my thinking cap and decided I would give Enterprise a call. I called them and was helped by a young lady named Tuso. From the time Tuso answered the phone I felt safe, taken care of and confident that I would get everything I deserved without a bunch of non-sense that happens when folks are only out for themselves.Although I wasnt able to get our van till the next week because of the snow storm all went well and Im totally content and satisfied! Tuso even made sure she had headphones for the DVD player by the time I picked up the van. The entire staffs energy was totally professional, kind and helpful as it should be when your spending your money. I also loved! that it was a total Black experience! Everyone at the dealership was Black like me, and good people, thank you Tuso and Enterprise staff! I have already recommended three people and two of them have already made appoints to see ya ll.Last but not least, the best part. Customer services are bad. I had a car accident and I rent a car for 4 days. I suppose get a recipt for reimbursement from third party insurance company but they didnt sent me a recipt which they promised to send to my e-mail. They charged 6 days rental car from my credit card. Credit records show me oneday rate for $33.50 and they took out money of $335.05 from my credit card. I call them for 5 times to fix my bill and send me a recipt but they never did. They are fraud. I never going to use enterprise again!!!
How you will feel when you see 10 customer in line and have only 1 employee serving at the front desk?? I cant describe my feeling here but GEICO should work with another rental company to serve best to their customers. Expect atleast to spend an hour before you actually get the car. Avoid this place if you are in hurry..very disappointed 😞😞
I am Tom McEnery not Troy McEnery. However, my recent experience with The East Elmhurst office was outstanding. Enterprise staff Tim Brennan & Alex Oh went beyond the norm to assist me in obtaining my rental. They are a excellent example of service. I will use this office again.
MY RAYBANs GLASES DISAPPEARED 30 MINUTES AFTER I DROPPED OFF THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY SAID THEY DIDNT SEE ANYTHING.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!This place is a joke!!!One person for 10 clients!!!!Awful !We were told to pick up the car at 5pm (that it was ready)

2022-05-17I prefer renting from this Enterprise location. The lobby is clean and quiet, and the staff work so fast - so check-in and return is a breeze. I can count on them to have a nice fleet of cars, all equipped with Apple Car Play which I use for navigation. Every agent Ive worked with has been so nice and efficient. Clay helped me out last time, and as always was such a positive experience. Thank you for always being there when I need to get out of the city!!!!

2022-04-09We used this branch for the first time because it was nearest to our AudiQ place where we were having our car repaired and oil-changed. Sierra attended to us from start to finish and she is a consummate professional. Very pleasant and attentive to customer needs. Enterprise is lucky to have her as part of your team. 2022-02-16I would avoid this location simple because they price gouge and force sales.Had to get my car repaired and the repair shop made reservations for a compact car. I get there 10 minutes after dropping off my car and the workers at the site inform me that there are no more compact cars and the only car available is a Jeep for $121 a day - the parking lot was filled with cars. I ask many times if they’re sure, if I could wait longer for the chance to receive a different car, etc… but they were very certain that the jeep was the only vehicle I can take home.I call my insurance to find a car In a different and as I’m talking to them, I see a new customer inspecting a compact car, and a suv. They left with the SUV. The insurance rep wanted to talk to the enterprise rep to confirm there are no other cars, this is where the employee starts to recommend the compact car and checking with the manager for more vehicles. I did not choose one because I felt I should’ve gotten that treatment from the start. Especially since the compact car was in the lot when I got there. Got my rental from a different location where I wasn’t being sticked with a car I don’t want.Just really blows my mind how there were no cars available till I decided to call my insurance; I was about to drive off with a jeep at 121 per day, when an empty compact vehicle was right next to the entrance for 30 a day.

2022-03-10I’ve previously had a terrible experience at this location but was in need of a rental and decided to give the business another opportunity. I’m glad I did. Clay called to confirm the details of my rental and I had a seamless experience with Bianca upon arrival. When I returned the rental Clay greeted me outside and I was on my way out in less than 5 mins! Great experience and I will definitely rent here again.

2022-06-18Do not rent a car from here!!1)Made a rsvp yesterday, arrived today, no cars.2)The solution to THEIR mistake was for ME to look up other locations and call to see if they have availability. (SIDE-NOTE: when I made the reservation yesterday I was unable to book with locations because the system showed there was no availability. I specifically chose the Elmhurst location because their system told me there were available cars)3) When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there is no manager to speak with, only her. When I asked for the corporate office contact number, I was told to Google it 😳4) I then resorted to calling customer service. I had two different phone conversations, each for over 15 minutes. I had to fully explain the issue to both of the representatives. Both of the representatives offered another location where they assured me cars were available. Both of them told me that my rate would now be HIGHER than what I was initially quoted. Not to mention, they could not provide transportation to the new location, so I would have to pay for transportation on my own.5) Because of how terrible the day was already going, I assumed Each of those locations would not actually have cars. So I called each of them. Only to find out that my suspicions were correct. Neither of them had available vehicles for me.6) I canceled my order and will never be renting from enterprise again. And now I’m stranded in Elmhurst having to pay for another UberThe moral of the story is, your reservation is worthless, and this company has TERRIBLE customer service.

2022-05-04Everything fine but they should mention that the cars are coming with no Ezpass so the customers don’t get a surprising bill of full amount of toll by mail I would have connect my ezpass to the license plate✌🏼

2021-09-21My reservation was cancelled due to no inventory so I have to book last minutes from other company and pay $200 more. SUCKSI booked a car two weeks ago for Sep 24 - 27, and a guy just called me said they don’t have any inventory, so they have to cancel my reservation? Then what’s the meaning for reservation? From the beginning to the end, I NEVER received any cancellation email. When I called back to confirm my reservation, he said they just have no inventory, then I have to book last minute from other rental car companies pay $200 more...
