I used enterprise as my car rental company from 12/01/2021 to 12/15/2021 Yonkers location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They only qualms I had during my 2 weeks rental was the first car I rented BMW M340i after a 3 days of using it needed to have the breaks services. I called the Yonkers location and they were more than happy to switch me out of the car. Only downside is, I have a long commute to work and I couldn’t take the car in for an exchange. I tried different locations closer to work (long island) however, none of the locations I checked had any inventory except one location that had a minivan. Nonetheless, I was able to return the car back to the original Yonkers location for a replacement during the weekend. I will definitely use enterprise again. Hopefully my next rental will not need any service.
Horrible branch. They call you to inform you of what documents to bring, and methods of payment, but don’t inform you that they don’t have the vehicle you requested until you get there. I use my work discount, and points together, ALWAYS, they did not apply it to my rental which I had a feeling about, so I was overcharged , and had proof of my work ID, as it is also attached to my profile. They are incredibly rude, and disrespectful, and are not professional.
If I could give zero stars I would. I understand its a holiday weekend, and I understand there was recently a storm driving up cars being rented. If there are no cars, and thats the answer to my attempt to book a vehicle late, NO PROBLEM!What I do not understand is why I was able to reserve a vehicle at all if no cars were in inventory? I do not understand why I called Enterprise on the day of pickup to ensure there was car there, was told that there was a car by a representative, and then after I had spent money getting there, to be told that actually there was no car: I was literally told that Enterprise allows you to reserve a vehicle, confirm the existence of said vehicle, when none is available. This is a a company that deals heavily in logistics claiming that none of their departments talk to one another to confirm these things?Im extremely angry because I went and booked accommodations for a place I CANNOT EVEN REACH based on promises made. I have lost deposit money because of these actions.I will absolutely never use Enterprise again based on this experience, and I will be extremely vocal about never using Enterprise to everyone I know.
Not a good experience. My insurance was covering the rental and actually dropped me off to pick up a rental with a reservation. It seemed a biz chaotic at this location and they finally gave me a VW SUV (this was on 7/9). A few days later my tote bag along with personal items were missing (stolen) from the trunk as l discovered the trunk latch was defective and they never brought this to my attention.I called them and they did not have anything to switch off to. In addition, my rental was extended longer and they charged my cc even though the insurance company called them to extend it. I was delighted to return the car (washed it and even returned it w/ some gas—it had been given to me empty). They refused to give me a lift home (they said they don’t do that??). I had to walk on a very busy road to get ride assistance - call for a Uber ride.Well, Hertz does (pick you up and drive you home) as I had rented a car with them the prior month. Enterprise is a “ bottom of the barrel” rental company. Never again.
My husband car was recently involved in accident and we were told to go pick up rental car through our insurance Usaa. Even though we didn’t really need the car but we just got it because our insurance company said it was free. Anyway we had the car for about 10 days and we hardly drove it to anywhere. It was sitting in our driveway until we returned it today and guess what they found a damaged on the bumper that came out of no where. I am usually a honest person when it comes to this kind of stuff but these people are totally taking advantage of us and waiting for a right person to blame. I wasn’t there when my husband went to drop off the car. The lady I spoke on the phone with said she was the manager of that enterprise. When I told her that we hardly used the vehicle and that we didn’t had any problems with the vehicle and we are not the ones who made that damage. She told me she wasnt 100 percent sure whether the damaged was done by us or not but we will be charged anyways. Maybe we were the easy target since we are both Asian. Anyway everyone just be extra mindful now a days because everyone needs money desperately and they will find any reason to get more money out of your pocket for no logical reason. Good luck
The staff at this Enterprise is very friendly. I truly enjoyed my experience at this branch. I usually use the branch closer to my home, but they are always out of vehicles lately.I will definitely make it a priority to check availabilities from this branch going forward.
Not worth any star.I have had a very bad experience with Enterprise at 132 Tuckahoe Road Yonkers, NY, 10710The line manager and one of the front desk personal have been very rude and arrogant. After I showed my reservation the manager told me that they rented the car to some body else and that is not responsibility to hold the cars for no body.Have been regular customer to them past 3 visits but got to know they were billing/guiding us wrongly because we blindly trusted them.Be aware and careful of of this location Enterprise car rentals at 132 Tuckahoe Road Yonkers, NY, 10710
Needed to get a rental car after my car ended up in the shop. They not only picked me up from the shop, they also contacted my insurance company to help with covering the costs. Very friendly staff despite how busy it was both times I was there. One of the most painless rental experiences Ive ever had.
I am first responder and looking to rewrite my contract so I can work and. During my visit experienced horrible behavior from manager. They didnt offer any service and were giving nasty comments without any reasons. Also they were looking to my car for any minor scratches so they can charge me. Please fire the manager, she is below subpar.
Booked a rental through my corporate discount received a call the day before I was to pick up my car and was told I needed to show extra paperwork I was coming from out of town and didn’t have this information spoke to a rep at the location and manager who was no help and wouldn’t allow me to get the rental even though I had a valid license and debit card. These “new” policies were not emailed or communicated to me in a timely manner. I called corporate and I’m still waiting on a response back. I will never rent from enterprise again and I won’t refer either.
I usually go to the Enterprise in the Bronx but considering how good my experience has been here (renting two times) I may start coming here when ever I need to rent a car. The worker John is sweet and do his best to make sure you’re satisfied! The only negative thing I will say is that they have LIMITED amount of vehicles so the early the better!!! Not sure if they offer curb side pick-up but they prices are great and the cars are clean.
My experience with the Enterprise on Tuckahoe Rd. in Yonkers was first-rate. The car was exactly as I ordered online. No one tried to sell me unnecessary insurance. The car was clean, drove well and was properly priced. The staff at that outlet were professional, helpful and answered all my questions. Thanks.
It was my first time renting from this location in the beginning I was happy because its located at across the street from me, but I quickly became disappointed because when they gave me the car it was an old one for the money I paid and then to top it off I got locked out with the key in the engine running while I was trying to ask the associate a question they did not warn me that the car locks automatically evenif its on, he offered me another car but my purse and phone were inside, he tried calling a locksmith but it would take 90 minutes to get there so he finally was able to unlock the car himself. I didnt like the fact that when he was on hold with the locksmith he turned around and told me lucky that I chose the insurance.
Great customer service by the employees at the location I rented it from but Enterprise as a company is terrible. I thought part of the point of a rental was the convenience of being able to drop it off at a different location when you were finished but nope thats another hundred dollar add on. Also they are not very informative of all the add ons that go with the service. Would have been nice to hear about the prepaid gas but I guess they have to keep out information so you spend more and more money. Think next time Ill just go to Hertz. Recently I rented an SUV from Enterprise. I would have given Enterprise a five star rating except they failed to pick me up in the morning. A neighbor drove me to the agency. However, Abby at the agency saved the day with her friendly smile and to assuage my crankiness immediately gave me a vehicle upgrade. A few minutes passed and she asked me if I could wait another five minutes so she could give me a second upgrade. Of course, I had the extra five minutes. Upon return from my trip, Abby with her friendly smile was there to greet me and ask me how my driving experience had been. The manager of the agency greeted me as well and wanted to know how the agencies service had been. I informed him of the pick-up snafu which he vowed to correct. A nice gentlemen drove me home. All in all, I found the staff friendly willing to correct the morning mistake which I greatly appreciated. My experience with Enterprise was quite favorable despite the glitch, and I will use them again in the future.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. The employees are poor communicators because they’re rushing you and when it comes time to return the car, they slap on a ginormous bill with information they didn’t mention bc they didn’t take the time to tell you what you were signing up for. Ive tried on various occasions to have these false charges removed but the supervisor conveniently always “steps out” whenever there is an issue and doesn’t call back despite various messages.Update (5/1/20): Thank you [email protected] and Cristina for your assistance and getting me positive results. Enterprise did not post ,online, or have a customer service # to call to inquire about their day to day add-on insurance rates .. The car was fine. They did pick me up and later drop me off as promised . They extended my rental for 3 days at the same rate with no problem.Lastly , the staff at Tuckahoe rd were helpful , but they did solicit a good review very strenuously .
Before I got my new car I needed to rent a car for a few weeks and chose Enterprise because they were one of the lowest rates and they have a good reputation. They upgraded me to a large your car for free and they were very nice. I dont remember the guys name who check me and butt he had a heart of gold. The car works great in the building was simple. I recommend this Enterprise if youre looking to rent a car.
I had a wonderful experience picking up the car on Saturday morning. Ramal and the young woman were very efficient and helpful. When I returned the car on Monday morning there was a heavy-set young man who said someone was checking my van and they were not and I waited about 15 minutes and the same woman who was there on Saturday checked the van very quickly and I could leave. I did not feel the man was very efficient or helpful on Monday morning.
The driver was apologetic for picking me up 40 minutes later than I was told. I received 15% compensation and an upgrade. The car was very clean on the inside but very dirty on the outside. I had to take the car to the car wash myself but they gave a sticker for a free car wash. The young lady I spoke to was pleasant but I left there feeling she was not very honest. She told me it was 1/2 tank of gas when it was between the 1/2 and a 1/4. She didnt show me; I went and look for myself, but I didnt make a big deal about it. She told me that I had to choose between the $15 insurance and the $30 insurance with no explanation of what those prices cover. While I was signing I was asking her questions. She was just interested in me signing up the paperwork. I rented cars before so I knew she meant $15/per day added not just $15. I also knew that I could use my own car insurance for coverage which she didnt mention. The car also had a warning light that it need an oil change. I love Enterprise but I will not go to Tuckahoe Road again.
I needed to get a rental quickly since my car was totaled in an accident. I found the staff at Enterprise to be helpful, courteous and informative. The wait time was minimal and my car was fine. I especially like the fact that they picked me up and then dropped me off when my rental was returned.
Hey guys I thought I`d mention the first phone call and how great it was to get clear cut answers about my rental inquiry but I received the same in every call from different customer reps. This location had excellent customer service. They came to pick me up in Bronxville. Once in the office, I had to wait due to the high volume of customers; however, they were working as fast as they could. Everyone in the office was courteous and helpful. My only complaint with this location is they had no water service to wash the cars. They did have a vaccum, but my car was dirty inside and out. They did apologize and provide a free car wash at another business, but people renting cars dont typically have time to go wash the car once rented. The car had 1/8 of tank of gas and the guy rode with me to gas station and put more in it. Basically, they needed more staff on this particular day.I had a horrible experience with Enterprise online, but that was no fault of this location. Renter beware that when picking up out of state, you must have a CREDIT not DEBIT card. I didnt take one with me, as I dont charge my travel. There was no disclosure on the site (unless you happened to search that question, which I did not). There was no mention of this requirement in my emailed receipt. Again, not the fault of this particular location, but the corporate site.
My car was damage in a snow storm and I usually rent with Hertz. I decided to rent from here and I have to say, the service I received was excellent. All the representatives there were helpful, accommodating, professional and courteous. Even when I initially went to pick up the car they were very apologetic with the fact that it was being used to pick up a customer. I was given constant updates of its arrival and apologies. Thank for a great experience.
My family and I, are recovering from a car accident! Everybody is sore! Not feeling well! But our customers service with Enterprise-renta car was absolutely great! Austin, Auntum, and Angie were professional, didnt waste time, and very sympathetic to our needs! Excellent Service! 🧡🧡🧡
I had a very pleasant experience with the crew at Tuckahoe. I made a reservation online for a small intermediate car and was greeted with a friendly smile from John Fedak who was very professional and courteous. As I was walking to the lot a small suv caught my eye and John offered me a free upgrade which made my day so I decided to add the additional insurance. My initial reservation was for 3 days I ended up keeping my rental for a month. Great people. Great service.
2 weeks ago I planned a weekend trip in the city and was in need of a rental. I made a quick and simple 5 min online reservation, filled out the additional driver information (pays off when you show up for your rental pick up) and that was that. The following day I showed up to 132 tuckahoe rd and you can tell the staff there are a well put together team that put customer service first. I havent been to another enterprise branch that operates this seamlessly, they were very accommodating, no long line even for a Friday evening, and the one thing I can take away from this experience is that these guys are true professionals. Outstanding job John. I was in and out of their a satisfied customer in less than 20mins. Thanks guys.
This place used to be good... my disappointment was when I had to wait for them an hour to take the car to a car wash. Also, they charged me weekly price of $474 and then they charge another three days separately which came up to $334. Moreover she wanted to add another 3 hours for the day I was supposed to drop the off car at 9 Am even though the car was picked up at 11 Am due to the cleaning process... basically they are trying to pull out as much money as they can out of your packet. When you call and complain... someone will reach out to you and respectfully make you feel that is your fault even with a history of the Invoices and how you were charged before. If I could gave 0 start to this place definitely I would have done it.
Having totaled my car in freak accident, and having no rental coverage (never again!) I was in no mood to shell out the big bucks for a rental. Kristen & Abby are AWESOME!! Not only was it an easy transaction to pick up the vehicle I rented since my car was vandalized and in the shop, but when I returned it was a no hassle, easy transaction as well. I had left my garage door opening and my hands free cell bluetooth device in the rental car - 2 items that would have been very expensive and a pain in the you know what to replace. To my astonishment I returned thinking the worst had happened and I would not get back these 2 items. I returned only to see these located up on the back counter waiting for my return. Kristen made sure to check the vehicle inside and out for personal belongings and kept them for me. I wanted to cry when I came back to the store. But, to my surprise I was greeted with a smile by Abby who made my tears of sadness turn to tears of joy!!! OMG!!! They provide unbelievable customer service and are so honest that I would never think of going to any place other than Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, NY. I have been doing business with Enterprise for years, including buying the best car in the world from their New Rochelle location. Not only are they great for renting cars, but check out their website if youre thinking of buying a car! They are much better than any ripoff car dealerships out there. Go here for car rentals and your next car purchase! WOW is the word I must use describe my experience with everyone at Enterprise!! They give you the WOW experience that is very rare these days. These guys are the best! I made a reservation with Budget and when I arrived at the pick up location, was told that they didnt have any cars available and didnt show any concern. I contacted Enterprise and within 30 mins. I had a car and was on my way. I am a satisfied customer. Thanks Tuckahoe Enterprise.
Worst customer service. The wait time is ridiculous! I had a reservation for 12 noon, I called at 10:30 am to schedule a pick up, I was not picked up until 12:45pm. Once I got to the office, I waited and additional 45 minutes to be seen at the counter and be processed. Once at the counter they were busy trying to process my rental while still assisting another customer. The agents seemed frustrated and was very short when asking me about my rental. I do not recommend this Enterprise to anyone. If you need to rent a car use the Enterprise on Central Avenue or Ardsley, they know how to treat valued customers.
These folks are great. Around 5:45 July 3rd I noticed the phone message light blinking. Enterprise had called mid-afternoon to remind me to pick up the car Id reserved. Id forgotten pickup was Friday, not Saturday. I called, they offered to stay open until I got there. Nice people. And a nice red VW for the trip.
Best service I have gotten at a rental place. Dealt with a young guy named Peter, was very helpful and professional. After dealing with an accident and having my truck go into the shop it was helpful to get such quality service during such a stressful time. Will go here again if I even need a car.
I cant express enough how great the experience was at Enterprise and especially with Dan Rivera. He went above and beyond to make sure my stressful road trip went smoothly. Everything about the customer service, price, and vehicle exceeded my expectations and we were safe and happy for the whole trip!
My experience with enterprise was horrific. I rented a Ford edge under a family discount plan. To my fiancee, my sons, and our nieces surprise the control arm from the steering wheel snapped when we were pulling out of Claire Burton on new jersey turnpike. Enterprise sent us home in a taxi, and when I asked to be reimbursed for the rental, I was told I could have a 1-3 day credit. I had been driving that car for two weeks and at anytime it could have caused its to be in a serious wreck. Havent used enterprise since, and I probably will not if I have a choice.
Hands down the most professional Enterprise in the area. The whole team here is awesome. Very helpful, respectful, considerate of your time and very, very efficient. Its not the closest location to me, but becuase of the high level of service every time I come here, its the only one Ill use. Other locations could learn a thing or two about customer service from this spot. They do it right.
I do not even know where to start! These people are absolutely amazing!! I wouldnt want to go to any other enterprise location after working with this office. The staff is helpful, detailed and make you feel comfortable and taken car of. They are easy to talk to and understanding. Ive had the pleasure of working with them a couple of times. All was well until i received a phone call by their claim department accusing me of a hit and run in the vehicle i rented. Here is the problem, the hit and run happen two weeks before i rented the vehicle involved. I then started receiving claim forms for me to fill out for the accident that had nothing to do with me. I went back two times to the office and both times and I was assured by the staff that a mistake had been made and i was free of any liability. I continue to received the claim forms for the next ten days though, I have yet to received an official apology letter.
Very dishonest people ,cheaters, unprofessional,.I went to pick up a rent a car from allstate insurance at location on central ave , and they didnt have the car I like ,and called the location on Tuckahoe rd, on Yonkers and also drove me at location very nice of them, as soonest they saw the amount was available from allstate ,they changed the price 3 times to bring up to $100.00 ,I didnt like the idea even I was not paying from my pocket but is not honesty and I cant allowed someone to take money just like that.also it was dark and car was not clean and you couldnt see if any damage was there ,so they told me the car doesnt have any damage so also I was afraid to sign for something I really dont see,however I didnt like and want to leave ,and go t o central ave ,and they told me they are not a taxi etc ,so was very cold waiting outside to call a taxi to go home .I would give a suggestions to all renters to be careful from scams like this.three days later I went central ave location a they give me a car and help me very honestly.be careful from Tuckahoe location .
I had insurance reasons I *had* to use Enterprise (and used this location as they were closest to me), but because of the attitude and service at this branch in particular, Ive ever since *chosen* to use Enterprise (and this location). Im only knocking a star off for the standard Enterprise weekend hours, when they and all other non-airport locations close at 1pm, and the lack of a dropbox for after-hours returns at this location. On the other hand, its hard to give good service and be accommodating through only a dropbox, and their lot is open and uncovered, but it would be more convenient for returns.
Best rental car service in Yonkers NY.Hands down the best in Yonkers, hell in Westchester county.Staff members make you feel ultra welcomed. They treat you like family.The cars that they rent are top notch. Seriously you wont ever rent a car above 30 thousand miles. EVER.Hertz which is across the street, and sucks!Will legitimately try to rent you a POS 2 year old car with 50 thousand miles? Like why?If youre in town and looking for a rental. Stop by enterprise on tuckahoe.The only downside is the parking lot, since they share it with dominos pizza/dunkin donuts and a liquor store it does get packed.Im a very satisfied customer and will continue to rent from this location.
Awful just awful......... I have unfortunately had to use this rental place several times and it seems that every experience is worse than the last. Terrible place, horrible customer service. Not once had the car that I rented even though I call before and they say all is ready. When you return the vehicle they add fines saying you scratched and smoked. Terrible terrible place. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to Hertz. Most enterprises have very bad customer service but this place should take the award for being useless and the basic service they are supposed to provide.
After a nightmare experience with Westchester Car Rentals cancelling our reservation about an hour before pickup, googling car rentals, and finding enterprise, Shakira took amaaaaazing care of us with a healthy dose of humor, understanding, and encouragement. If we ever drive north again, we will definitely be back.
I called for a morning pickup at 830. Stood in pouring rain til 855 and called again. Reached a woman at the reception desk who first told me I never called (still trying to figure out why I would have stood in pouring rain for 25 minutes if I wasnt waiting for a pickup) then said a driver was coming in 3 minutes, then said he had 4 other pickups to make first, then said he was stuck in traffic. When I began to get upset, never raising my voice or using foul language, she hung up on me.I then took a taxi to the Tuckahoe road site, by now incensed. Fortunately, the superbisor, Hercules, was very accommodating and couldnt do more to make up for the moron I dealt with. Her name was Justine and she should be at the least suspended, at best fired. This company prides itself on service. Shes a disgrace and you should consider her as the face you want to put out there
Reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance at the yonkers tuckahoe location, and when i picked up it was filthy inside and out, couldn’t even see out the window, when i brought it to the attention of the representative she says i can take it to the carwash for free, that is the responsibility of enterprise to rent a clean car, i had no time to stop and wait in a car wash line, very disappointed, so when i filled with gas i washed the windows so i can at least see while driving!

2022-02-18I arrived to pick up my vehicle that had been reserved two weeks prior. The girl who brought us out to a beautiful Suburban was lovely. Another woman comes from inside, grabs the key from her hands and tells her the car is not rentable- no greeting to us after we had been out in the cold and the process had already begun. She left us there literally dumbfounded. We went back inside to find them in a huddled circle looking stressed. We were sent back out to look at ONE other option. A dirty car that smelled like a genuine ash tray. Sticking stuff all over the indoor handles and dirt everywhere. Disgusting. Then the poor girl who was sent out to give us the care stated that they tried calling us to tell us they didn’t have a car but the “number didn’t work” when we asked what good our reservation was. Two weeks in advance!! She then told us they tried calling around for other enterprises who would have a Full size SUV, another lie. We just walked away and they didn’t bother to give us another look. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

When I returned he car, Jose ensured that I would want to return to the Yonkers Enterprise office. I felt like family.

2022-05-09Because I was in an accident this was my first experience with any car rental service I went to enterprise on Tuckahoe RD Yonkers. I had such a great experience Rosa, Diamond and Edward were very friendly, hands on, and knowledgeable. They gave me such a great experience.

2022-05-09The worst experience I ever had renting form enterprise and I have been renting a long time. Im disabled and expressed that I needed a certain type of vehicle in order to accommodate my limitations while my car was being repaired. I waited over 2hrs to obtain a vehicle only to be told I have to bring it back in 3 days. Upon doing so, I was told a vehicle being washed so I may leave. After waiting for over an hour, I was told the vehicle was given to another person who purportedly arrived before my boyfriend and I, which wasnt true. Finally after waiting an excessive amount of time I was given a damaged,/extremely filthy vehicle that didnt have any washer fluid in the chamber making it impossible to see through the filthy front window in the raín. Needless to say, I will NEVER rent from this location again. The customer service is horrendous!!

2022-04-16Considering it was my very first time renting a car and I have no other company to compare Enterprise with, I’ll say it was a BAD experience.First, I was told I’d be able pay with a debit. The female customer service Rep, never mentioned anything about me having to provide utility bills as proof. I took an Uber to your location, only to be told I wasn’t going able to use my debit card without providing a utility bill. Luckily, after scrambling I was able to find my insurance bill via my mobile app. Secondly, I called to inquire about an extension on my rental. The gentleman who I spoke to quoted me $112 for two days. I was very surprised at the price, since I paid about $85 for one day. It sound to good to be true so I asked “ $112 for two days? You’re saying, when I return the car my total for both days will be $112 with taxes and everything?” To which he replied “YES”. That wasn’t the case, of course. Instead I was charged approximately $168.The manager at the Yonkers location gave me call. I explained everything and she offered me a 5% discount. I know there’s not much within her control but a 5% discount is pretty insulting. Especially when I was quoted the wrong price. Sorry to say but I feel I was swindled from the moment I called Enterprise.Not to mention, I was given a car that smelled like weed for two days.The only positive experience was a young lady by the name of Shamirah. She clearly know what customer experience is all about.

2022-03-17I went to Hertz and they couldnt accommodate me so I went up the block to Enterprise on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers.I was very pleased with the service.Savanna, Taylor and Shamera were all very cordial and professional.I was very pleased and I amsure you will be also

2021-12-27My insurance booked a reservation for me at this location (which was always my go to location for a rental). Immediately following, I received an email from Enterprise with an option to activate a priority pass which I did right away. Over a week passes by and today, I dropped off my car at the mechanic shop. I decided to call Enterprise to check on the status of my pick-up since they havent arrived yet. Not only did they leave me stranded at the shop, but they also didnt have the vehicle I reserved over a week ago! They gave me two other options which were a mini-van and a pick-up truck -- which I could not take because it wouldnt work for me personally (crowded on-street parking at home). I really wish a representative at Enterprise would have picked up on this error and advised me ahead of time so I could have planned accordingly. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with Enterprise again.

2022-06-05The staff and managers were incredibly friendly and supportive, making what’s usually a daunting experience, practically flawless. I highly recommend this Enterprise location. We’ll be using their services again in the near future.
