If youre looking for the best slice of pizza in Nassau County, you HAVE to go to Carlos in Port Washington. The pizza sauce is perfect. This is the first time Ive ever reviewed a restaurant because I dont care enough to take the time and post something, but they deserve it :) Theyre awesome!
Love Carlos pizza. My favorite in the entire area.Tried some of their pasta dishes and spinach rolls and everything was great.Fast delivery, nice people and precautions such as mask, gloves and no contact delivery options are available. Highly recommend
Old school pizza joint. Really, really good pizza. The bread is good quality. It easily rivals pizza in the neighborhood. Just wouldnt recommend the place to eat in for dinner or lunch. Great takeout!

Lot of solid places to get Pizza in Port, but this one is our go-to for a classic NY/Long Island pie, perfect for pickup. Solid price, friendly neighborhood pizza by the slice vibe, and fast.
First time trying Carlo’s pizza, new to the area for work. The grandma was great and the chicken, pepper & onion was delicious!!!
This has been the best pizza in Port Washington as long as Ive lived here (15 years) and has never disappointed. Pies are reasonably priced and other food options are also delicious. My go to for that would be the eggplant parm hero. If youre looking for pizza or quick Italian fare here in Port, Carlos is certainly the place to go.
As a Chicagoan I highly enjoyed this NYC style pie! We got a few of their specialty slices to taste test (which was fun and something I’d recommend!). Minimal delivery fee, I think like $2, with NO delivery minimum!!!
Great pizza. my wife comes from new haven w Peppi and Sallys being well known...Carlos does not have clam ir bacon pizza by their thin crust cooked onions and sausages is every bit as good..had sauteed broccoli that was tops..love place

Great traditional NY Pizza!
After waiting 1 hour 10 minutes I called back and was told my credit card did not go through and they did not start cooking the pizza! On top of that I asked why someone did not call me back and their reply was are you going to keep me on the phone?, which my reply was no, I need to get off the phone and right a review, amazing and funny, I could not believe it. Good luck with getting your pizza.
Probably the best pizza by the slice place in PW. Not much of a sit-down restaurant - it does have a few booths mostly meant for a quick chow down - but does have a huge parking lot perfect for a quick night-time or weekend pick-up (LIRR during the day so watch for being ticketed). The chicken parm sub is pretty damn good too.
Youve got tons of options in Port Washington for pizza, so it can be a difficult decision. If youre craving a standard cheese pizza, american style and piping hot, Carlos is the place to get it. Their novelty slices may not be as good as other places in town, but you can bet they do the basics right.
Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Port Washington and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Parking on the Street is available. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restroom. Nice staff. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.
Hands down the best pizza in Port. We also take out once a week our go to dishes. Shrimp parm dinner and chicken parm. Both equally satisfying and fullfilling. Great service also

I wouldnt give even one star, but otherwise cant write. Carlos Pizza used to be my and my familys favorite for countless years, never could imagine they would be so cold hearted and careless, today having a lunch there, I stepped out for a minute and going back in I tripped on that terrible step they have by the entrance, lost balance and with full speed hit the table,fall down, my elbow was bleeding, got huge bruise on my wrist I was so dizzy, customer next table ran to help me, when owner and whole stuff stayed behind the counter, never even move, not even offer of glass of water or piece of ice. someone else would call the caps and sue them for. Shame on you all, heartless and rude. You just lost your best customer and Ill do my best so none of my friends and family ever step in your shop.

Maybe it was all the hype I had been fed before actually trying this place out but it was subpar to say the least.. to be far, I tried their margarita slice and not there normal cheese slice. i probably wont be going back for the normal anytime soon tho

It is a good place to eat a piece of pizza, it is very good and has an exquisite flavor, the drawback is that for a person who is a tourist and does not speak English it is difficult to order something to eat so I give it a 4 otherwise if they improve your cervice speaking Spanish would be 5 out of 5

2021-10-20Possibly the best regular NY Style pizza on Long Island and beyond. The slices are thin, and full of flavor. The crust is crisp, the sauce is excellent, and the cheese is perfect. If I were to rate it in a scale of 1 - 10, I’d give it a 9.3, and I have yet to have better. Definitely my favorite go to spot for a slice or pie. Consistently delicious!

2022-03-08While visiting from PA grabbed a quick dinner there for the family. The pizza was definitely better than our places in PA and slices are a really nice size. Maybe its just me but where I live a pie is between $12-$14. It was almost $19 here. Not used to paying this much for pizza. Overall it was good, but I remember NY pizza being better.

2019-01-04We walked down the street and were halted by the smell of cheese, dough and spices coming from this place. We made a decision to try it for dinner and had no regrets. This is the kind of place where locals stop in to grab a slice of pizza throughout the night. This is the place where two Italian grandmothers will talk about how nice the delivery boy is when they see him walking back through the door. Friendly smiles and tasty pizzas (white pizzas too) will keep you coming back for more.

2022-01-14We went to Carlos pizza yesterday for the first time. By far the worst disgusting pizza in Port Washington. Rude workers and the meatball parmigiana hero is worst then eating dog food. I would give this place a minus zero star. Just disgusting.
