Absolutely WONDERFUL service. I just recently moved to the area and discovered this lovely furniture store, I’ve been in and out if the store many times and each time the service is amazing and I’m rest assured that this is going to be a place I will continue to shop! Recently purchased a sectional couch and the sales people assured us that an afternoon delivery was good. When they called the night before to set up the time they TOLD me when they would be there, and when I tried to say thats not what was discussed, I was told thats how we roll then they simply hung up the phone. So now for the delivery... So I arranged to have the morning off of work because thats how they roll, they showed up at 830am and told me that they only have three deliveries that day so they are trying to milk it out then the delivery guys proceed to hide the screws in their pockets to drag out the assembly. I wont be doing anymore business with Carls and I strongly suggest this place be avoided!!!!!!

I was just there to purchase a mattress. What I wanted wasnt available anymore. Told the clerk he should update the website. I walked out, then this poor excuse of a human said I was a KAREN. My HUSBAND TOLD ME. I called the store and he told me I was disrespectful, on camera. For what? Only 1 other customer in the store. I want him fired.
I was very satisfied with my experience, the employee (I think he said his name was Larry) was incredibly helpful and patient and helped me find what I was looking for, the sales floor looked wonderful and everyone was nice. Will be going back for sure!

Worst experience!! Larry likes to put his hands on customers after all my boyfriend wanted was his money back for a damanged couch that we bought! So unprofessional and the worst customer service. Larry Dicono literally picked him up by his throat and threw him out of the store. The sad thing is that Carl N Melinda Vogel hasn’t even reached out to make this right or at least apologize for the terrible customer service we received at his place of business. If you want to get beat up or picked up by your throat go to carls!
This place is not worth buying furniture from. We have purchased 2 couches in 2 years because both have began to tear and rip. Although the sectional we had was under warranty still, and was not ripping or tearing due to everyday wear and tear we kept getting a run around for 4 months, going on 5 without an answer. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
The selection was great and so are the prices. Mike and Larry are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will definitely go back again! Thanks guys!

We went to look at a sofa, the guy was really nice helped us try to find what we were looking for. We would have ordered from them but we were looking for a certain style. He sat on a sofa with us and had a chat. We really felt welcome. We did find a bed for my son we will be going back for. They really try to work with your price range and what you are looking for. They do sell a lot of sets only though.

I had a great experience finding a new sectional for my home. Larry made it easy and fun to shop, and answered all my questions, measured every aspect and ran back on the floor multiple times to address my additional crazy questions via phone after I had left. if you are looking for great service and an honest opinion, ask for Larry! I had white glove delivery and Nick and Steve went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and helped me out a lot! They were in and out and ensured everything went smoothly and worked around all the tough corners of my house. Cant say enough good things, thank you!

I just purchased a new home and searched everywhere for a new sofa set. Every place either advertised things for a decent price but conveniently “couldn’t get them” when you went in, or just straight up were selling things for dbl what they should be. My sister and I came here to try my luck. There were so! many great options all reasonably priced. The guys were super helpful, but also gave us space to try out and decide on the choices I narrowed it down to. After I checked out they even let me pick out a free carpet and loaded it into our vehicle. I 10/10 recommend Carl’s. I’ll be back to get the rest of my furniture needs
Purchased living room furniture Saturday, Free delivery, The inside sales were great but when the furniture arrived the same day ir was just dropped off at my porch. I asked the guy whats with that he said drop off only, Ok so I was angry and while he was getting the rest of the furniture out of the truck I fell down on the ice with the couch on top of me yes I got hurt, I understand the covid thing and all but the least ANYONE would have done was come over and ask me if I was all right and get the couch off of me. I am disgusted with the delivery and the manners of the truck driver!!MaryAnn Deveans

We had a great experience at Carls. Antoine was fantastic. He was able to find us everything we needed but was engaging, charming and wanted to make sure we had a good experience. He even threw in a few pillows for our son (were redoing his room for when he gets home from the Army in July!!) And when we got the wrong item (by no fault of Carls) which was a weird glass print instead of the flag that we wanted, they accepted the return and gave us another pillow for our inconvenience. HA HA!!Seriously though, we are really happy with our experience. Anthony was a big help too! We will make sure to ask for these two next time were there!!!

We were looking for a bedroom set. Saw a set on their website that we liked for $1399 when we went to the store to buy it, they told us it was $2100 and we showed them their website and were told it was a mistake. No we did not buy it and wont be going back there

I have gotten a bed set from Carl’s furniture and an area rug. At first the frame to the bed set had some chips I called told them and they were awesome about it. They ordered me another one and took the damaged one with no problem at all! They were great helping me out with the area rug. Every time I go everyone is very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend!

Went into Carls Furniture and needed a new living room set for our large family. Shopped around to Big Lots, Joe Tehans and Raymour and Flannigan but wasnt impressed with the available stock, delivery or prices. On a whim, decided to try out Carls Furniture. Was greeted at the door by a salesperson named Larry. He was attentive and personable. Larry wasnt pushy and was very knowledgeable on the furniture to make sure we got the best option for our budget. Picked out a wonderful sectional with a cuddler and we are more than excited. Only $89 for delivery and will be carried in and assembled without me doing anything in just a few days. Wish I would have considered Carls Furniture sooner!
After visiting 4 other stores we ended up @ Carls after seeing his billboard. We wanted a 2 piece sectional.The other stores had to order and our wait will be a month or longer and they had a sale going on, why???Carls has them and can be delivered next day!! Big selection! Plus I found what I was looking for FINALLY. A quick finance app. and Ill have my furniture in my house. Thank you Jim for making this painless!!

The guys at Carls were extremely helpful and patient. I had the pleasure to work with several including Larry, Mark, and Antoine and they were there to help and answer any questions I had. I bought a recliner I was very happy with and came back the same week to get the sofa as well...very positive experience all the way around.
Again. Customer service I bought a $700 vanity that was missing parts. I would call to get them only to be told someone would call me back and they wouldnt. Or that the parts coming could take extra time due to covid.This went on for weeks. The parts are important since they are what holds all the pieces of the vanity together and they look a certain way so they arent an eye sore through the glass top. I was told they werent special amNd I could get them anywhere. Which I couldnt. So here I am a year later still no parts. A friend bought furniture with missing parts and getting them was like pulling teeth qnd they had to physically go in the store and get them themselves. I will never again go to q store where I spend that much money and I cant get decent customer service for 4 bolts. This vanity is my dream vanity qnd I just expected more from a place that had such good reviews

I Purchased $3500.00 worth of furniture and on delivery my loveseat had a tear in it. I IMMEDIATELY called the delivery driver, they came back, took pictures, and told me they would submit to store, and I was to call and speak with manager, which I did. Same day I found that my lamp on my headboard had a bad socket... Customer service was horrible. I was REPEATEDLY told, well you have somewhere to sit and a bed to lay on, whats the big deal..The big deal was, I could have sat and layed on my old furniture, and saved myself $3500.00. After a month, and literally contacting the OWNER...my issue was finally resolved... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Carls was having an amazing sale on posturepedic mattresses, so I decided to grab one. I got a call to schedule delivery almost immediately and spoke with Mike. To my surprise they were able to deliver the very next day.Alex and Christian were my delivery guys- right within the scheduled time frame. They were courteous (wore their masks) and brought my mattress up to my apartment door, more than what what expected of them.The mattress itself is the most comfortable one Ive ever had and worth way more than what I paid for it.Great customer service is always appreciated, but you all go above and beyond during a pandemic :) thank you all!!
My mom and I stoped here today and we had such an awesome experience. Our sales man Greg was so helpful, very outgoing and just so easy to talk with and have a laugh while you’re looking around/shopping. We bought a furniture set yesterday and when they delivered it they just dropped it off, most unprofessional, I personally would never shop there agian.
Bought what is being considered a sectional now a days even though its truly a couch with an ottoman. Decent quality, I like how it looks and fits in my living room and was cheaper then what appeared to be the same size and quality that Joe Tahans had.
They are amazing. Antoine was very helpful and knew his floor plan. Extended hospitality and service without any set backs. Shopped there 3xs and every time was better than the last. I buy from them and travel with the merchandise myself and theyre always willing to set up my car or truck for travel. See you guys real soon.

- So I’ve never ordered from Carl’s. A few of my friends have & I decided to try. I was looking for a couch and loveseat combo. I found one for $699 & then when I called to place my order, Rich was so helpful and told me they didn’t have any loveseats , but he could give me two full size couches for the same price. & I haven’t received it yet , a week delivery wait time isn’t that long , but I’m so excited I can’t wait for it to get here, I just wanted to say thank you to rich for helping me and making sure I got what I wanted 🙂🙂
I purchased a bedroom set here for my son a few months ago and came back today for a new sectional! Ended up leaving with a new kitchen table in addition. Staff is great, but Antoine took especially good care of us! Couldn’t be happier!
Horrible Horrible experience. Purchased a couch set online to get delivered, says delivery available today, well it wasnt. So the salesman Mike told me , my order was coming off of the truck on 3/25/2021 and that he would call me back with a delivery time. 2.5 weeks later and never recieved a phone call not even to know whats going on. When I called on 4/8/2021 he said it would get delivered on 4/7 never heard from anyone still. Called the store and now they say what I ordered is not in the store. 3 weeks later it took them to tell me its not in the store, mind you I already paid for the set. I ask for a refund and they say I have to wait for a manager to get in to call me to go about getting a refund for my money that was on 4/8. It is now 4/11 and I still have not gotten a single phone call and my money is not accounted for

While browsing recliners, a sale person approached us and guided us to the recliners we were looking for, no pressure. Later as we had narrowed our search and had a few questions the same salesman was knowledgeable about the products and helped us arrive to our decision. Drivers are the worse… almost got into an accident on Genesee Street in Utica NY today 8/7/21 due to the driver not paying attention and not using his signal when merging. When we came to a stop the driver then pulled to the side of our vehicle laughed and proceeded in driving … corporate needs to ensure there drivers are equip with knowing safety while on the roads and also test there drivers to see if they are under the influence. Spoke to a store manager who advised they will look into it. I will never recommend anyone to this establishment due to to this incident

I don’t usually do reviews but I felt compelled to do so here. Things started out on a very positive note when I went to Carl’s and shopped around. At the point of sale, and then delivery (and after), things quickly went downhill. I got exactly what I paid for, but once the credit card was swiped....the service completely flatlined. As a single woman that was looking to purchase everything, pay extra for white glove service, and have everything delivered and set up for me like I paid for....I was greatly disappointed. Next time I will order online and do it myself.
We just went Carls Wholesale Furniture Warehouse in New Hartford to get my daughter and grandson a couch for their new apartment and Mike P was amazing and extremely helpful. He was very nice and very patient with my 4 yr old grandson testing out the furniture. I highly recommend Carls and their salespeople. I definitely give them 5 stars.

Just got off the phone with a gentleman by the name of Larry Dicono. I was in the store the other day and asked if they had chairs to sell but then I saw a Cassidy 4pc dining set and loved it the color is very nice and the price was affordable and would recommend Carl’s to anyone. Go in and ask for Larry Dicono because he was very helpful and polite. Same as just speaking to him over the phone same attitude and very helpful and that’s what I want when I walk into a store he actually got my attention by asking if I needed any help . I like communication and Larry is your guy because I feel not just for his job but he is a people person. So kudos to Larry Dicono.
My bf and I have been looking for two months for a couch and even though we live in Syracuse we were beyond happy to travel and try out the couches here. They’re delivering in less than a week, which seems like a Christmas miracle to us and our sales associate Greg was amazing! Will definitely will be coming here in the future, they have our business for life now!
Large selection of in stock items. Quality is good for the price. Staff is friendly and knows the inventory. You aren’t followed around and harassed while you browse and when you’re ready they help you quick. Nice shopping experience.

Best shopping experience ever. Needed new furniture for all the rooms. One stop and done. We got everything we wanted and needed and amazing prices. The salesperson Mike was a sweetheart. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Answered everything we needed to know. Didn’t try to push anything on us we didn’t want or to make us get something more expensive. Definitely will return again if and when we need in the future.

WE LOVE OUR COUCH. We scanned our options at other big furniture retailers and everywhere said we’d have to wait 8-12 weeks for our furniture because of production backups. We found our couch advertised on Facebook marketplace (the “Snow” sectional) but got talking to Mark over the phone and he walked us through the buying process and what to expect. Everyone we talked to was so pleasant and really did their best to ship our couch ASAP. We ended up getting it within the week, and it’s amazing. Even came with pillows. The couch is better quality than the big retailer couches we sat on, and half the price. We will be looking at Carl’s for more furniture in the future!
I can’t tell you how wonderful of an experience I had today with my salesman Greg, store manager Mike and Rich. They were fun and enjoyable to work with. Very helpful and hey I’m a woman. I must’ve had poor Greg up and down the poor store changing my mind 20 different times, but he took it in stride and laughed right along. I highly recommend Carl’s Furniture

Everyone was very helpful and everything went great we moved into a new house and ordered a living room, dining room and 6 bedroom sets delivery was on time and took 3 workers about 4-5 hours to bring in the house and assemble everything (on a holiday a couple things were missing which was understandable with that much furniture and I was given the missing stuff the very next day I really dont understand the bad reviews Ive seen about Carls I will definitely do business with them again and I would recommend

Bought an 1800 dollar couch in Nov 2019 as well as warranty plan. Back in Jan 2020 my son accidentally put a hole in couch . We contacted ins company and they approved replacement part in March. Is now sept and I still dont have a new part. Every time I call get runaround from manager mike as to why I dont have new part. Manager mike never calls with updates or calls period with update. I wouldnt buy a damn dog bed from this place! Ins company they sell you is a joke as well as management!

Ill tell you how pleased I am from start to finish. No pressure sales.. When I was ready to select the furniture.. A salesman named Antwan stopped eating his lunch.. I said hey you dont have to stop just for me.. With a smile on his face he said its no problem sir.. What do you want to get he said.. Well I would like this sectional right here.. Ok he said, and I think he thought I was done we were just talking like we knew each other all our lives.. Id like to also get this Queen size bedroom set for my Queen and he chuckled and said you are a smart man.. Thats how I roll too.. Then I said Id like to get a coffee table but the ones I looked at were too big.. Well he took us over to the very end of the show room and said hows this lift top look to you guys? Beautiful my new bride said (Mind you we were price hunting that day because I just applied to get an apartment and wanted to make sure we were accepted first) I had worries I just wanted to make sure first. As Antwan started to figure us out.. Rich came over to assist Antwan and assured that he personally would mark all our stuff paid in full and keep it in the warehouse for us until and not to worry. Well I have to tell you that eased my mind.. He wanted to know if we wanted coverage on our bed and sectional.. Sure I said.. So I paid in full and my new bride and I left the store.. All the way home we talked about how good it was to feel unrushed or pushed into a sale..Now comes the apartment part.. We decided we want a kitchen setup as well and drove all the way from my home 1 1/2 hours away back to Carls and looked around I think the salesman that time was Greg.. and when I said who we were he said ohhh we know who you guys are your the newlyweds he grins.. How can I help you today.. I said we got the apartment and want to add that kitchen table and chairs for (a included) delivery.. Sure no problem he said.Now the funny part.. You see, my wife and said we have a small apartment... WE JUST DIDNT know just how small it really was..Delivery day.. Nick and Joel were the team.. I have NEVER seen two dedicated guys to getting the job done as these guys.. It was around 8:45 am the truck pulls up before moving anything they both surveyed their mission.. Two flights of stairs long hallway short ceilings narrow doorway to the apartment.. They looked at each other and said it should be no problem.. And off they go to begin.. I have to hold access doors open up stairs and my wife holds the door at the entrance of the stairs at the bottom.. Once they got everything in the apartment they set up the bedroom just the way we wanted it to be. Then (and I felt bad) I will just say the struggle with the size of the sectional was a real pain and I myself would have used a chainsaw and made a new door lol... Not really but Nick and Joel managed to get it in and set up.. Thhhhhhhhhhhhhen wow these poor guys worked through their lunch, NEVER took A BREAK I had bottled water ready because there was NO AC in yet I said when you need a drink just grab one.. and if you need it chilled pop it in the freezer for a few minutes it will ice up fast.. Joel found that out lol.. by the time these guys put together ALL the bits and pieces of that kitchen set it was 3:00 pm. They just stuck to the Job and completed it. They picked up everything cleaned up without a trace I thanked them for all they did and off they went.My rating is 5 stars all across the board!!Would I shop there again? YES!Would I recommend this store? HIGHLY!Was the sales staff and delivery to my satisfaction? I said 5 stars right lol YES!!
I gotta say that Larry and Mark are two great ppl at carls warehouse ! i suggest that if you are doin business there, go see Larry specifically to help make you choose the best pieces for your home and Mark to make sure order and delivery is a smooth process!

Got a great deal on a recliner that was priced hundreds more at the other furniture stores PLUS Carl’s had it in stock! The other stores had us wait from 3 weeks minimum to 20 weeks due to their supplies being low.
I have furnished my home for home for a few years now with Carls and I love every time I go in their. The staff is amazingly helpful. Rich also helps me find what I am looking for and isnt like other places that try and over sell me like other places do. The prices are great.

Much better quality than the stuff we looked at at Big Lots. Glad we went there. The rep we worked with was Mark, Id recommend working with him. We were in loaded up and out in about a half hour on a Saturday afternoon. Good selection, decent prices. I will say they didnt have everything on their website in stock. But they did have more of a selection than I anticipated.
Rich helped me. He was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. I will come back and hope to work with him again
Buyer beware! Carls engages in BAIT AND SWITCH. They had advertised a 2 pc sofa and loveseat for $449.00. I purchased it and then received a call saying there was an error on their website and it was actually $449 each piece. Nowhere on the ad did it say $449 each piece. Their website and my order said 2 pc set for $449. Instead of honoring their advertising, they tried to make me pay more. Avoid this place at all costs!

2021-11-16Overall a great experience. I feel like the furniture all tends to be on the cheaper side so keep that in mind, but the price fits that statement. Advertising has some quirks to it like a typical sales place so make sure you fully understand the deals. The sales guys were all great and helpful. They handle all aspects of the sale plus the financing and sometimes loading the furniture so be patient and understanding. We worked with Larry and he was very helpful with explaining everything involved in the sale. Their financing options are not top notch, but if you’re able to pay off in the 6 months no interest period then they will work for you. Overall I give the store layout a 5, quality a 4, sales staff a 5, and advertising a 3.5. Just have to be fair here haha. Thanks guys!

2022-02-25One of the best furniture shopping experiences we’ve ever encountered! The crew at Carl’s is extremely knowledgeable, professional & friendly. Jim helped us find the perfect sectional and is everything you could ever ask for in a salesman - not pushy at all. We shopped a few different stores and he didn’t try to force us into choosing their store one bit. He genuinely wanted us to end up with the furniture we loved, even if it wasn’t from Carl’s! 10/10 recommend.

I was able to shop comfortably and confidently. I bought a great couch at a great price. When I needed help after my order was completed the staff went above and beyond to ensure my happiness.When my couch arrived the gentlemen delivering it were kind and professional. 2022-04-27My family has been getting furniture for years from this establishment it’s always been good quality furniture and a fast amazing well worth experience working with them. I myself went and purchased a couch from them the moment I got into the store they were attentive and they gave me two options as to how I can purchase my couch. My couch was to be delivered on a Thursday and I purchased it on a Tuesday around 1:43 pm and I received my couch that Tuesday at about 4pm they called me prior to bringing the couch and when arriving. they got the couch in my house no damages to my house nor the couch even with there being a slight inconvenience due to my hallway being so slim that they thought they wouldn’t be able to get the couch in they expressed that to me and let me know they’d try their hardest to get it in which they did and put it together in less than an hour!!!!! Great busy with great people working for them 10 outta 10 !!!

There were so many options, they were honest and pointed me into the direction of the best quality bedroom set and not just the highest priced set. Since I am local they offered free delivery as well, a huge stress relief since I’m moving! I will most definitely be returning should I decide to update my other furniture.

2022-04-23After shopping around for furniture, Carl’s furniture was the last stop. As soon as we walk through the door we were greeted by two gentlemen. Our sales representative Larry immediately engaged with myself and my best friend and stated that he can answer any questions that we might have. It was quite comical because he said he would answer up to 65 questions. We ended up asking seven questions and my friend was sold on one of the pieces of furniture.Kathy is eagerly waiting for the arrival of her new couch on Saturday. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and your generosity and courtesy of assisting both of us. I highly recommend going and checking out Carl’s furniture as they have a lot of selections to choose from.

2022-04-16This was my first time shopping at Carl’s. My friend and I were there for her to purchase a living room couch and for me a kitchen table and chairs. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and patience that Mike P. showed us. The two sales associates (another Mike) were nothing short of wonderful. I would definitely recommend going there for your furniture needs.As a sidenote I need to comment on the one star review that was posted previously regarding a mattress. My friend and I were in the store and witnessed what she said happened. It is not true. AT ALL! She was angry, aggressive and verbally abusive to the staff AND her husband from the minute she walked in the door. Please do not let that comment sway you from checking Carl’s out. The sales staff were fantastic and handled the situation with her professionally and correctly. Especially the phone call. PS… As an objective bystander; she absolutely was a Karen!

2022-02-15Mike is THE BEST salesperson i have ever dealt with! this man went above & beyond for my daughter’s & I throughout the whole experience, not only did he take the time to address all of our concerns but he provided with everything we wanted & more.I had to switch my order because I didn’t really liked the first one I had made online & he AGAIN went above & beyond for us to get what we wanted.
