I loved my experience w/Carpet Time! Eleanor asked my needs which were: cost, good carpet rating for allergens, and expedience! She immediately pointed out a handful of good quality, in-stock carpets which also met my budget. Not being inundated w/too many choices worked perfect for me. Knowing I was on a timeline, Eleanor quickly got a measuring expert to my place & my install was a couple of days later. Julio did a pristine job w/removing my carpet/installing my new one. His experience shows & the room looks great for my new tenants! I highly recommend for professionalism & experience! Nice people! Thank you!
Awful. Stopped by with my mother to browse for rugs for her home and were treated beyond rudely by the woman who claimed to be the manager. She rushed us in and and out as she said she had scheduled appointments (meanwhile there was not one customer in sight on either floor). She barked at me as I was putting my mask on at entry, yelling to put it on and be respectful to her business. Lady, I was already putting it on and no need to bark orders. I asked for a price of a rug to which she barked again claiming it was labeled on the back. Once I explained there was no price on the label, she said she would check and never did. Just watched me and my mother as if we were criminals and rushed us out within minutes, reiterating that she had no time for us due to scheduled appointments. As we were leaving another mother and daughter knocked to enter and the manager barked at them as well stating they only host by appointment, chasing away more potential clients. My mother and I were in shock by how we were treated and will be sure to never return again.
Matina went above and beyond to get my rug cut and bound within 45 mins, even calling her staff back to do the job on the fly. I found CT on Yelp and as the reviews all say, the staff is top notch. They even have a selection of sweet treats to nosh on while you wait. Service was excellent and very fast.
Carpets galore! Went here a year ago now and scouted options for carpet. They were patient and I went back 2 times before deciding to go w them. Ill say that I paid more than I would have at a bigger store but the service was so personal and honest that it was well worth it.I was also happy to support a local family owned business Im the city during the middle of this pandemic. They were amazing.
They did a beautiful job installing flooring throughout my entire apt. and years later when i had a flood, they did a great job of putting in a totally different floor in the affected areas and made it all work beautifully together.

After I read the Google review here I went to the store. the store indeed carries a massive selection since they own the building.In the end I go with what Steve has recommended nice quality with reasonable price. They made the whole process easy and satisfying. He and Eleanor shown me what a good family business can be, make me as a client feeling comfortable and trust. I m happy with my choice over other stores I have visited , the installation team definitely pose profession manner on bring you place a new look with excellent service. Simply put - as an interior designer and a Real Estate professional I have many clients that have carpeting needs...there is NO other place I would send my lovely clients to...Carpet Time has the BEST customer service, the BEST knowledgable owners and staff. Shout out to Martina and Eleanor, I dont know how they keep up with it all always with warmth, personal greetings and a smile! The most beautiful selection of rugs, carpet, remnants flooring...delivery and installations team also wonderful...just really terrific! My go to for all my flooring and i send all my customers there! I got an amazing rug and amazing service at Carpet Time! I’m a complete newbie when it comes to home decorating, but the folks at Carpet Time have pretty much seen and heard it all. They were insanely helpful in guiding me through the pros and cons of different looks, textures and durability based on my design goals. Added bonus, the extra information actually made me feel informed, not overwhelmed. Highly recommended!
Although I didnt make a deal with them, I met with the owner of the company and she is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In less than 30 minutes, I received so much information and guidance from her that I definitely have them at the top of my list for future projects.

I went a lot of store and I never find anyone better than sales women Matina. She was really nice and friendly with us at the first sight and showed us thousand varieties. Believe me you will not find any better selection of carpet no where also the best sales women I ever met in my life.
Best customer service! I travelled from midtown in New York City and arrived to the store in just fifteen minutes. Extensive selection of carpets and able to be customized to fit any area! Could not recommend Carpet Time more!
Steve and Eleanor, the owners, know about customer service and satisfaction. From the start, they are involved in every stage of your thinking process and doubts. They give you samples and more samples. You go home and look at the lighting, the wall colors, your furniture and debate which way to go. They never rush you; if you go back ten times, ten times they greet you with a smile and ask you if you want to look at something else. I mean, no attitude and a smooth purchase. It took me four trips and they worked with my budget. Their workmen are just as wonderful and professional. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They know their business and I cannot be happier.
Although this place is called Carpet Time it is not very accurate because they also sell a lot of rugs which is the primary reason I am such a fan. The family who owns it is very nice and knowledgeable and they have so much to choose from. So if you are looking for carpetsor rugs they are an option.

I love the ways two ladies operate their business. They are very honest and told me the wool I chose is not good for my stairs because of the high maintenance. I failed to find the carpet today but will come back soon to choose another one.

2022-01-07I had a great experience working with Eleanor and her team at Carpet Time. She was very knowledgeable and walked us through the best carpet options when you have kids and pets. They were able to come and do the install quickly and it turned out beautiful! Id definitely come back for future carpet needs and would highly recommend them to anyone!

2022-02-04When deciding to do vinyl floors I found Carpet Time and saw the great reviews. I started with just doing one room and ended up doing all rooms in my house because everything from the service to the flooring to installation was perfect in every way. Her prices and choice of selection are also very good. I wish all businesses were run as Eleanor runs hers. A true pro- you will not be disappointed. Thank you again!

2021-12-14Update! I am now a returning customer to carpet time, I ordered 3 area rugs after my amazing experience with my stair runner. I can’t recommend Eleanor and the team there enough. The carpets looks absolutely fantastic, the installers were fast and courteous and I will definitely be returning for any future carpet installation!

2022-06-06I had an excellent experience dealing with Carpet Time. Eleanor was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and professional in the carpet selection process. Chrystalla was incredibly helpful in dealing with my coop buildings renovation approval process, filling out and submitting the required paperwork. Erik and Nico were the installers and it couldnt have gone more smoothly. They were careful and clearly took pride in a job well done, also making sure to clean up thoroughly afterwards. Thanks again to everyone for such great service.

2019-02-23This place is great! The owner is so focused, friendly, and straight to the point. She got me a price quote right away and was able to send someone over to take measurements the very same night. By next morning, my old carpet was removed and the new carpet was installed. Everything was done so fast and professionally. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for carpeting!

2018-05-07I recently had carpet installed in my basement by Carpet Time and it was such a wonderful experience! First at the store Eleanor and Christina were so helpful. They walked me through the best carpet and padding for my basement, which will primarily serve as a play room. The current floor was damaged (see the dark spots in the pictures) and Eleanor helped me pick the best way to install the new carpet. She put in a great amount of detail and even followed up with me after talking to their carpet mechanics. We can also use the garage door as an entrance to the house and when we do this we have to walk through the basement so they helped me pick the best carpet for stains and wear and tear. This was great because I could tell they werent trying to over-charge me or sell me a more expensive carpet than I needed. The day of the install I was so impressed with the mechanics! They kept everything completely neat and walked me through the entire process. They asked me where I would like the carpet seam and discussed the pros and cons of each location. The thing I was the most impressed with was the baseboard installation. Instead of just putting down the carpet they asked me if I would like the baseboard removed, the carpet installed, and then they reinstalled the baseboard. This is not something I would have even thought of and it was obviously more work for them. They could have easily installed the carpet quickly and it would not have not looked as great as it does. They went out of their way to make sure it looked perfect without me even having to ask. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Carpet Time!

2017-03-19Steve and Eleanor are terrific! Matina helped me with several custom-cut rugs. One carpet had a specific angle that needed to be cut at their facility. Matina also assisted in finding someone to do custom hand serging on my rug to create a fantastic end product. I highly recommend the team at Carpet Time- they are fantastic!

2021-09-04Our family have been Carpet Time customers for over 30 years. The owner, Eleanors merchandise and services have always been excellent. Our sons apartment was flooded Wednesday night during the hurricane, and his carpeting was ruined. Yesterday, we asked Eleanor when she could have the carpet removed, and have a new floor put down. Eleanor immediately sent two of her workers over to take care of it. 20 minutes after we spoke, her men were here. 20 minutes! Where else can you get service like that? Her men do a fantastic job taking up the ruined carpeting, and cleaning the floor underneath. Thank you Eleanor for the wonderful business you run, and for your caring nature towards your customers. Youre the best.

2019-08-18HUGE selection! Very helpful and knowledgeable sales person, not pushy at all. I took my time because I wasnt sure what I wanted, and he stayed 75 minutes past the closing time without a complaint. He was very helpful and patient. I spend over 1K on a carpet but I got a Great Deal!

2017-12-19My experience with Carpet Time was INCREDIBLE. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. I live in Chicago and I was looking for flooring for my commercial space. My interior designer had recommended that I purchase residential flooring for my business. Christina and Eleanor helped me realize that I needed commercial flooring and walked me through the entire process of selecting the appropriate flooring. They were very patient with me and answered all of my questions. If I hadnt gone to Carpet Time, I would have residential flooring in my space, which would have been a huge and costly mistake. Carpet time helped me avoid that expensive mistake and helped me pick the perfect flooring. Since I live in Chicago, they shipped me samples and even helped me track the shipments! When they arrived, they checked in with me to make sure that the samples werent damaged. When my contractors incorrectly installed the wrong flooring in my space, I called Carpet Time and they helped me problem-solve that same evening. Eleanor and Christina helped me figure out that I needed to order more flooring so the next day, they spoke with their rep and overnighted me extra flooring. They saved me!! I dont know what I would have done without Carpet Time!! If you are looking for flooring and want a company that is knowledgeable with the best customer service, I highly recommend Carpet Time. As I mentioned, I live in Chicago, so I cant even imagine what their service looks like in NYC! Not to mention my flooring is beautiful :). Thank you Carpet time for everything you did to go above and beyond to make sure I got the exact flooring I needed for my space. I am so happy!!
