Cassidys Pub in other cities:
I went there for lunch, most of the people was sitting at the bar and there was a waiter on the table area of the place, it took a little bit of time to get her attention, she was attentive. If I was in a rush I wouldve said it took a long time, but I had a lot of time so I didnt cared.
Staying at the Shoreham Hotel which is just down the road, this pub became our local for the 4 nights we stayed there. The Irish hospitality was welcomed by us fellow Celts , Im Welsh my husband is Scottish, we live near Cardiff now. The sharing platter was a recommend and was enjoyed very much. Diolch yn fear.
My husband and Ive been there twice, he had chicken pot pie and I had a shepherds pie, it was so delicious, the waitresses was very nice, she made sure my drink was exactly how I like. It was a band playing very nice music so after our dinner we stayed in the bar and the both bartenders were unavailable nice, very friendly. We had a great time, will come back soon.
The way services on here is a little bit odd. Theres just a bunch of weight staff walking around and numerous different people will stop by your table and see if you need anything. It made it difficult to tip at the end of the meal. It also made it difficult to order because there wasnt somebody consistently checking back with us. The food was decent and it was what we ordered. I just have trouble getting past not having one specific waitress. At times it often left us and with empty drinks and looking for someone to help us
The drinks are excellent, I think the Cassidys beer is just the best thing here. You have to get it. Prices are also very low at less than $8 for the beers and the food is so great, I had a meatloaf recommended by the bartender. Sit at the bar if possible, dont sit on the tables the chairs are not comfy at all
Only like to be positive, but this one missed. Wings real good, server nice, kept refilling water because family drinks alot. Caesar Salad very good, wifes sandwich just ok. Upcharged her in sweet potatoes fries w/o saying. Ill get over it. Ordered a chicken wrap, came out as a sandwich, Id still get over it, but ate half and realized my chicken wasnt cooked through. Told the server about the chicken that was a sandwich and told her chicken wasnt cooked. Still charged us. I dont think she did the right thing but we had a bus to catch. Would not go back.
Irish pub, with a real Irish waitress. Stronbow on tap, and thin pea soup add credibility. My BLT with avocado was decent, the apple pie wasnt worth the money or the calories. My friend had french onion soup and fried calamari, both looked good. My advice, stick to the cider, and skip dessert!
Great space right in midtown Manhattan. Food is solid, beer selection is average for an Irish pub (always have Smithwicks which is good) and the staff are quick and friendly.Friday night karaoke here is a blast, look out for the infamous Chainsaw, regaling the crowd with tidbits of musical history accompanying his gruff renditions of classic tunes. The crowd is always fun on these nights and the DJ is professional and courteous, willing to help you find the song you want.
This place is Blah but open to anyone just as long as you dont stay too long otherwise their regular working girls who sit near their front big window will make you feel unwelcomed. Bartenders are pleasant or seem to be if you tip them more than ten bucks otherwise they use their bad English to pretend not to understand. I go here once in awhile because I live nearby but wish it had better managing. It certainly is a click bar if you like highschool atmosphere attitudes.
Mediocre in every way, with tasteless food, indifferent service and a very limited draft beer selection biased toward mass US options. Three Monkeys is far better, having eaten there last night, it is about the same price with a proper selection of micros and genuinely tasty food.
Never have I ordered a Chicken POT Pie without a god damn pot. Literally a single layer of pastry on the botton of the bowl. All of the food had some issue, aftwr waiting at least 30 mins just for it and then they over cook a $16 burger.DO NOT go here. Unless of course you are looking to eat a pie with only a thin slice of pastry and a dish that looks like it came from a blender.
If youre looking for a place that doesnt try that hard, youve come to the right place. The staff will ignore you as the rush back to the kitchen and force you to wait an hour for your subpar food. If youre looking for an Irish pub, keep looking. All of the over priced liquor on the shelf, cant make this place seem better.

2022-03-06The Crew and I happened upon this place by chance as we were walking around celebrating my birthday weekend in February. This was a legit and awesome pub. The person who greeted us and served us was genuinely funny, helpful, patient and all around fun guy. The food was great with good portions and the drinks were varied not just one note. Only complaint was that they had 1 pool table which we couldnt use since people were hogging it for the night (not that it would hurt the rating cause we had fun regardless).Note: For the guys, I highly recommend checking out their restroom. They keep it amazingly clean, and they have a special picture for you to be entertained by regarding the bathrooms of Ireland. Priceless!

2022-02-01What a great find in the heart of NYC. After walking all over in the freezing cold through in South Manhattan and then Central park we were ready to warm up and this was perfect in the mid afternoon. There were actually 7 mozzarella sticks and they were yummy. I loved the tiny salad that came with it. A nice surprise. The brews were really good on a cold day. We will definitely be back to visit when we are in NYC.

2022-05-05We spent a week in NYC. This eatery was a block from our hotel. The staff were great, it was clean. cute and close. Food was wonderful and reasonable.. this will be our go to restaurant in midtown. A true hidden gem. Try it before everyone finds out about it. It was spacious and everything you would expect from a Irish pub.

2021-07-17Great little pub conveniently located between the parking lot we used and Central Park. The shepherds pie was great and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips. Our son was a fan of the chicken fingers and steak fries. Decent selection of beers and spirits. We didnt leave hungry.

2022-01-30This place is dope, good food and classic pub feel. Sinéad is an experienced bar goddess during the day and Gustavo is the man to see in the evening. All around best pub in the area unless you are willing to hike it to the east side.

2022-01-14Liked the atmosphere and if we wanted food the menu was good. We just had some drinks. We wanted to catch a game as well which was on the many TV’s they have in the place to view. The waiter was nice. I would go there next time to try the menu out. .
