Free parking lot (Of course you have to be in the vehicle) which is just 7 mins away from the airport. Using this facility for few years now whenever i need pickup friends / family from JFK. Very safe place and way better than parking on roadside. There is electric car charging station and restrooms (I didnt use it, so not sure how the restrooms are maintained)
Bathrooms super nasty. They should charge at least $2 for entrance and pay a janitor to take care the bathrooms. Also it would be nice to have a small cafe shop in the lot. All that money can be used to take care the bathroom. On a free service, people tend not care about good maintenance.
This was my first visit and it went well. They do have bathroom facilities, which seemed clean, at least flat thing in the morning. I imagine they might be trashed by the end of the day. Theres 3 different types of car chargers, so if you have am electric car they probably have the right charger for you. It would be nice if they had better signage to get you to the lot and had multiple lots closer to the terminals. I did see some people parking by the side of the road which could subject you to police harassment. This is a good idea which could be improved on.
Great place to park while waiting for someone to land. I honestly dont know why so many cars park on the vanwyk etc. when you can safely park here at the cell phone lot. There is plenty of parking and ever porter potties just incase you gotta go, and only a 4 minutes from all the terminals. Park here and be safe instead of parking on the expressway.
People should park here instead of the road. Well let. Theyve done some restructuring but I think it could still use better flow. I wish there were some bathrooms though. Waiting for a while with no bathroom, plus being able to park long at the actual terminal when picking people up makes it a bit difficult. Add onto that city traffic. Besides that, its what it should be.
Im shocked that people park on the side of the highway when this lovely parking lot exists, that comes with a clean bathroom (as of May 2020). I was so impressed that the portapotties were upgraded to bathrooms youd normally find at Cirque du Soleil which have ventilation, flushing toilets and fully-stocked with paper towels and soap.
Sure! Iβll review the cell phone lot! Itβs a parking lot you can wait in while waiting to pick someone up. Thereβs even a couple porta-potties. Asphalt conditions are adequate and spaces are clearly marked. Would have been 5 starts if there was a Starbucks and/or chipotle on site. Close enough to terminals but still a few minutes down the road.
Very Convenient to JFK. Exit B. Easy access back to the beginning of airport to terminals. Can be crowded at peak times with mainly Black Taxi & Limo Comiss plates abounding. Port a potties in the back. Dont park in first row coming in by the entrance or you will never get out. Always Back into spots for a clean getaway. Ive used many times
It has gotten too crowded since the uber revolution. Easy to get in and out to and from the terminals.unfortunately there are no restrooms and not very good signal, guess they are just not allowing any communication towers so close to the airport because of interference with the control tower for the airport itself.
When I arrived it was around 10pm. The parking lot is easy to find and it was very easy to get to the terminals when your guest arrive. There where urinals but they where over used and very dirty. If you park near the fence line it smell like urine. In the short time I was waiting there janitors emptying the trash and picking up trash around the reciprocal.
Worst parking lot ever. Cell phone connection is the worst here. Dont ever go to this parking lot. There is always a problem there people always get in to a small accidents in the lot because it is very congested. TLC drivers there act like jurk offs they always get angry for no reason. There is bathroom but no place to eat by all means if u need to go. Go to the limo lot which is much better.
Great place to chill for like an hour or two before your flight [if you have a car]. I saw that my friends phone didnt work in that area. Some people may also experience that problem as well so just giving you a heads up. Places did not charge a fee to enter which was great.
Easy way to wait for your travelers coming into JFK. Much better than waiting on the shoulder of busy roads. Make sure you have your cell phone and they know to call you when they have their luggage. Also, tell them to tell you exactly where they are so you can find them.
This place is better than it used to be, but the porta potty situation is horrible. They need to put like 15 porta pottys not 4. They are so overused you have to hold your breath just to pee. Many drivers go behind the porta pottys rather than use them. If you have to go number 2 I feel sorry for you. Also this seems to be the one place in NYC that has a dead zone for the cell data service. Many times I cannot tell my place in queue or if I joined the queue. This is also where the rideshare drivers are forced to wait. We are performing a necessary service transporting people from the airport. How about treating the drivers with a little respect? Unhappy drivers make for unhappy passengers which does not reflect well on our city.
This is the waiting area for cars when waiting for flights to arrive at JFK airport. Just a lot with 4 porta potties and nothing else. Bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer with you just in case you need to use one of the porta potties since they run out of these items regularly.
Being a Lyft and Juno driver, I come here to wait for rides... The reception sucks... I get booted off the ride share queue because Im constantly loosing signal. I gave it 3 stars because sometimes it actually does carry me through the complete queue cycle but not always is that the case.

2021-05-23If youre arriving early to pick someone up this is the place to navigate to!This lot is free, has a bathroom and 10 car charging stations. The terminals are about 5-7 minutes away. This lot is easy to get in and out of and much safer than illegally parking/standing on the side of the expressway or on any other road near the terminals. Make your experience picking someone up from JFK more pleasant by waiting in this lot!

2022-05-05This is a great waiting room when you are waiting for loved ones to arrive by air. First of all, its free & easy to get to: right off the Van Wyck. Once there, they have restrooms in case the flight is delayed. Also free WiFi! Plenty of parking room. I suggest you park so you are head in & can pull out fast. Well lit and appears safe at night. Use your cell phone to monitor the flights & youre good to go! Happy pick-up!

2021-04-05Easy access to all terminals, free parking for upto 60 minutes. Has portable toilets and EV charging stations. You can avoid parking by the access roads and stay here safely, checking your messages, listening to music etc as you wait for those you want to pick up.All terminals are just 5-7 minutes away, so you can leave to the passenger pick up area once you know that the passengers have their luggage.

2022-05-04Its got a bathroom trailer (flush toilets, running water) and a multi-faith meditation trailer. Many ride-service drivers wait there and clean out their vehicles. Quiet and safe.

2020-03-17When you are picking up someone from JFK, this is the place you can park your car for free while the passenger is ready to come out. The cell phone lot is only 5 minutes away from any terminal. Why spend $8:00 to $12:00 per hour going into a short term parking lot and end up paying close to $30? Also, I see people parking on curb side at the entrance to JFK or on Belt Parkway, where it can endanger you or other motorist. Also, there are free apps you can download to your Cell phone to track the status of a flight, or you Simply can Google the flight number and the airport for real-time flight status.

2019-09-08Nice free parking spot. A must place for anyone who is picking someone from JFK Airport. It was almost vacant on first week of September during morning (10am).
