Be careful at this store ask for things in writing, any billing amounts will be underestimated on purpose to get you to “sign up” which happens without signing anything and if you want to return / cancel service the next day because they lied about being able to transfer your old number even if they said they can, they’ll stall and say it takes time, and also lie about total monthly costs, the store can do nothing to help you at all and tell you must call at&t who will not help either expect your next months bill to be 2x to x3 times higher than stated and when you get that bill it it’s too late to return the phones and cancel (by mail because as stated, they cannot help) because it doesn’t show up until after the time to return it by mail and cancel for something you technically never signing up for without a signature or any paperwork being shown to you. This is a 100% true story and at&t on the phone (once again the only way to talk to them as the store cannot help) you will pay 2.5 standard price of normal unlimited sell service with no way out for literally 36 months unless you pay several more hundred in our case 1,000 dollars to get out. As nothing was explained to us and nothing was signed but that won’t stop them. Looking into lawyers but that also costs money, literally criminal fraud occurring at this store and the only help is expensive legal recourse and hours on the phone which will ultimately lead nowhere as cost more money but thats our only option. DO NOT go here. Buy a phone outright somewhere else and get a sim card to pay the normal 45-55 a month for unlimited service. Anyone with legal advice please help
I just came back from the store. WOW....what a relief. After 2 years of unsuccessful attempts trying to transfer my account, was Dillon (the AT&T sales consultant) able to transfer my account. Thanks Dillon. I had given umpteen tries calling the AT&T 1-800 number and it was just impossible to get it done. Most of the contact center agents do not know the process and just in a hurry to close the call. Dillon was patient to hear my whole story and took a very methodical step by step approach to solve the problem one at a time, acknowledging the limitations of the customer management software in the backend. This might be the only reason I would stick back with AT&T for some more time to come. Service matters.
Went to the store to port service. The associate, Adam B, helped me with excellent service. He went above and beyond in getting me even better service than what I walked in for. His patience and skill in listening to my request and then providing a better service was beyond expectations. The wait was expected these days. He also checked in other customers and explained they would help as soon as available. It was a busy Saturday, each associate provided excellent service. Well done AT&T!
I was a loyal customer for over 10 years. I recently did the upgrade trade-in offer at an at&t in 3108 vestal NY. Luis Calvo who helped me was very kind and friendly. I had a great service from him. I have been very pleased with my service. I havent had any problem so far and so I would highly recommend AT&T to anyone who is shopping around for the best phone company to go with. I plan to stay with AT&T as long as the service Im receiving continues to be great with no issues.
Absolutely over the top service. We were Canadians looking for international service. Kim and Jordan took very very good care of us and gave us an amazing pkg.We were acknowledged when we arrived and served shortly after.Very nice atmosphere with friendly staff and other customers
I visited the store on the vestal parkway to port my service from another service provider, and was greet warmly by the one of the employees, I was taken care of by Ian who was extremely helpful and patient as I decided which phone I would like to buy . Ian had my number ported over to at&t extremely fast . Awesome store great employees who are knowledgeable about the phones sold in the store, I refuse to go to a different store after the great experience I had at the vestal store.I’m now enjoying an awesome iPhone 12 Pro .I definitely recommend this at&t store over any other.
The employees were very friendly and helpful but...in the end issue was still not resolved. We went in with a non working wireless internet device. We were told several reasons why. But that it was, after a good hour, now working correctly. It was still painfully slow due to poor signal inside store..so we were told. Took it home and it still would not download. Slower than 20yr old dsl...no download speed. Called 611 and found it was still not set up correctly. They changed number and never told us. Rep could not resolve and said she would send it to technical support and maybe someone could fix in a few days...so in the meantime we have a $200 piece of unusable plastic that we either hope they fix or we must return before 14day time is up or be out the $200. If at&t cant set up their own equipment maybe they shouldnt sell it.
My favorite location for everything. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit but that’s because you as the customer being helped get full undivided attention. I’ve never felt rushed and recently purchased the 11 pro. Jordan went over everything from the phone to plans, screen protector and best case. The 11pro is a little different than my 8 so I had questions and Jordan made sure I was comfortable when I left. So people, when you get this kind of time and attention, you may have to wait and I’m sure you would want the same. Also, thank you Jeorge for all your help in the past.
Store #3108 gentlemans name is Paul very intelligent knew how to handle my issues. All in all a great guy fixed my phone. Top notch . Now the guy at store #4706 had a personality of a rock . looked at my phone like it was junk. Explained my situation had 0 interest in helping me . Dont know why you hire people like that.
They used to have a book to sign in with. Now they go around and ask. So a couple that came in after me, got on the list ahead of me. I understand theyre busy and working hard; but its up to the company to make sure walk ins are first come first serve. Its not a customers responsibility to argue over who came in first. Not to mention is never a quick visit. So that makes it more important to get the correct order.
Terrible experience. Was given threw different stories about rewards I qualified for, management had no idea what the current promotions were, and I had to spend a half hour on the phone with Customer Care in order to have all of this locations screw ups on my account fixed. Never using this office again, Johnson City only for me from now on.
Dylans assurance was phenomenal. He was very patient helping to guide me through learning this new phone as well as the updated technology this has to offer.The whole staff from management on were pleasant and I am so glad I have chosen to use AT&T as my cell carrier.Thank you again Dylan!Kris Marcocci
My AT & T representative was Daryl Croft. He was wonderful. I went in for a free service and he took the time to transfer data from my old phone to a newer phone that my friend gave me. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I knew how to use the new phone. I saw a lot of negative reviews on here so I decided to include my positive one. He was awesome, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and put on the list. I waited less than 10 minutes before Daryl was able to help me. Everyone was very efficient and friendly and helping other customers as they came in. I would recommend this store.
Had a problem NumberSyncing my phone and watch and went to the store. The person helping me was extremely patient and pleasant through the hour and a half it took to figure out the problem and reconnect the two. Always had the same type of pleasant experience dealing there.
We have been customers for over 10 year with over 6 phone plans under a business and personal.... They told me they were shipping an item to my house and it would be there in three days. 6 days pass and then I am told they are out of stock. I call they wouldnt refund my money... go into store they are rude, tell me they cant help it is out of stock. I told them YOU told me it was in stock when you swiped my card. You said it was going to be on time for Christmas. They then told me they were doing a store to store transfer for me...STILL NOTHING, broken promises and two little girls who will NOT have a gift on Christmas morning because they lied. They promised calls, they did no such thing. I am filing official complaints with corporate headquarters. Liars...deception...still waiting on my product. There will be hell to pay.
Terrible. Don’t go here. Choose another store. They told me if I got a new phone number I could just cancel my current and get the promotion. I asked them specifically if it was without fees and they said yes no fees because I wasn’t under contract. Well if you have a new phone under promotion you can’t cancel a phone with ATT for 3 months!! So now I have to pay for three months on a phone I don’t even use. Go to Verizon. Don’t fall for their bs.
Worst customer service. I can never get anyone from the store on the phone. And when I go there its usually a 40 minute wait before anyone acknowledges me and puts me in queue. I once went to get a new charger for my phone. Waited 43 minutes before I was helped. The customer rep was on her first day. She did not know how to work the register to take my credit card. I had to wit 20 minutes while she repeated went to the back to ask for help from the other customer reps who were on break! If you need anything youre better off driving the extra distance to another store.
I have never experienced such awful customer service in my life. Waited over an hour to get my new phone. Had to go back 9 months later because the phone stopped working. Waited two hours for someone to finally see me. AT&T agreed to send me a new phone under warranty. They decided to send me a refurbished POS that was even more defective then the one I had. I had enough and left AT&T for Sprint and they have been amazing. I cant believe a store can make people wait as long as this one does.
NOT HAPPY. I was to have received a gift card as part of the sign up. Never received it and although I have been to the store several times and spoken to the manager this has not been resolved. I purchased the bundle in October. Now Im told that the time has expired they can not honor the gift card I never received. Also you can not ever reach the store by phone
Waited 1.5hr first day for service went back 2nd day was told would be over an hr when I asked to speak with the manager Sean who was doing his best to not do anything. Waited another 20 minutes for him to say its to bad its the holidays and wouldnt help. Went to the mall att and they had more customers and got us in within 15 min, thank you to the Oakdale mall att store, shame on the vestal store and its manager Sean who has no idea what customer service is
Worst experience EVER. Id rather go to the one in the oakdale mall. We recieved NO attention for over two hours! TWO HOURS of waiting for an employee to see us, with our names on the board, and they didnt pay attention to us at all. An employee stopped and asked if we would like some water an hour after being there, and we accepted, my mother being in a neck brace and my father with a cane, and didnt see the employee or any water for another half hour. There were around four other people in the store with us, two of them were being helped by FOUR employees! One of which was the person who asked if we wanted water and never came back. After another half hour and having people not even on the board go before us, people coming in after us and being seen before anyone even asked us what we needed, we called the sprint store a few businesses down and were treated much kinder. After telling the assistant we were going to leave for waiting so long, he simply said sorry and let us walk out the door. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. At the sprint store, Eric, the only assistant there, stayed late for us to get us all new phones and new plans. AT&T can go suck a fat one, because we were treated lousy, especially after being with them for 8 years of service.
It is really stupid and ridiculous!!! I went there for a sim card, the representative #1 said I am not authorized, well ok I got authorized. Went back, signed in with representative #2, he said he contact the manager to help me out becuase I only need a sim swap.Saw representative #1 said I am back, yes. I ask him if he can help he SAID NO!!!! Then I waited for about 1 hour, then I someone #3 to help me out becuase it is only a sim swap, he said talk to the manager (again)..Then manager comes out and help me FINALLY!! BUT guess what it was representative # 1 all the time!!!!!! That is so unprofessional and rude to have me 1. Have me waiting 2. Make a fool out of me 3. Talking behind customers!!! Never again will go there anymore. People I urge to stay away from that retailer, you are btter off at Oakdale Mall.

2022-02-05I think an extra person would have been beneficial. Two csr are not enough. Also offer either water or good coffee if its going to be longer than 15 min. And comfortable seating. Seniors would appreciate that so much. If a person is comfortable then its not so horrible having to wait.

2022-03-30I stopped in a few days before and they were very busy. A female employee, sorry I didn’t get her name, left her customer to see if there was something hung she could help me with. I am as looking for a mobile hotspot. She explained a few things because it was a timely matter.she suggested a few other places to look for the hotspot!I returned yesterday b cause it seems a hot spot is nearly impossible to find locally. So I came back to your store because of the kindness she showed.I worked with Michael M this time and he worked hard. He understood my n Ed for this tool and he not only found my need but he went above and beyond my hopes. Got a great deal and amazing service. Thank you both for you work.

2022-03-07I paid off my phone to trade it in in the idea to get said phone for free that I traded for so I didnt have to pay for the phone. Come to find out Im paying for the plan and the phone that was supposed to be free. I still have 36 payments left on a brand new phone that was supposed to be free and my bill more than doubled. I dont even pay that much for full coverage on my car. Now if this is how much my bill is going to be, then Ill go to a different service.

2022-02-11My husband and I decided to upgrade our phones and stopped at store on Vestal Parkway East. We were in a bit of a time crunch and didnt think we could do it. But ,Stacia made it happen and was PHENOMENAL!!Fast Foward a few months to yesterday. My mother has been added to our plan and needed help transferring. I called store and as I expected,Stacia was ready and able to assist my Mother and had her come right in.I hope that Stacia is recognized for her SUPERB Work!!

2022-03-06After having issues with activating prepaid sim card, came to this store to get help, but the lady told me I have to call customer service and they cannot help. I called them in front of her and she saw that getting connected to a representative is impossible, but still refused to provide any further help.

2021-10-15There were only two employees working, the store manager and his assistant manager, Justin Sherman. With a crowded store of 8 customers signed in awaiting assistance, the managers both seemed to treat everyone with patience, kindness and helpfulness. I was the last customer and needed to switch over as a new customer (which is a time consuming process). Justin was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient, even though I kept him about 45 minutes after closing. I appreciated the professionalism and efficiency that Justin demonstrated throughout my interactions with him as a new customer. Thanks!

2021-10-15Even though there was a long wait (what cell phone store doesn’t?), the two men working were wonderful. As I waited I watched one of the managers work with an older gentleman who continually grumbled about the wait time and other factors that were clearly not the managers fault. He handled the older gentleman’s comments with truth and respect, without seeming frustrated (at what was clearly a frustrating conversation). I appreciated seeing that. When it was our turn (10 minutes before closing), the assistant manager, Justin Sherman helped us switch our accounts over from Verizon. He was super knowledgeable, as efficient as possible, pleasant, and kind. Even though he needed to stay about an hour past closing to help us finish our transaction, he didn’t make us feel rushed. In a world where so many times customer service is lacking (especially with burnt out workers who are making up for people not working), these two managers stuck out to me as exemplary models of what any business would like to represent their company. Well done and thank you!

2021-10-17I was sent to the store because the online order system didnt like my order. What should have been a simple port request turned into a nightmare.Kudos to Mike, Jorge, & Justin for getting everything right and working, ensuring I didnt lose my phone numbers. Yes, it took 3 trips and about 7.5 hours all together. Yes, the place is swamped with customers and the phone rings a lot. If youre a customer or want to become one, make an appointment, because walk-in service is hard to accommodate when so many people do not want to work. These guys worked hard for me and I saw them do the same for others who patiently waited.
