I had many experiences with this, my local store. The last time, my problem was with this guy, Andy, supposedly the manager. I made a phone call, regarding a recent order, and this guy not only didnt answer my very simple question, but he made the point of repeating his same words, which didnt explain anything to me. Finally, after my insistence to know what was going on with my order, he, rudely, dropped the call. I called a second time, and a girl named Alba answered to my question, very politely in less than two minutes.My complaint is about the manager, how can someone be a manager without being willing to deal with customers. Terrible.
Since the revamped, I am impressed with this local site; the Sim card sent to replace my phone and wifes proved to be not only difficult but useless. Somebodys making a huge profit with sim cards and equipment that does not work. Anyway, the service tech was both experienced and knew what to do. The fact that they were already aware of non functional sim cards sent to customers was evident. The service overall was exceptional which speaks to good customer service and satisfaction.
Went to get T-Mobile service at this store and the representative added a watch line on my account without asking me. I did not request for this and called customer care to escalate this. Upon calling them, they told me to reach out to the store directly. I noticed the additional line on my account when i opened the app on my phone, but there may be plenty of other customers who may have not noticed it yet. Nevertheless, i will not be returning again, and I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs against this store for fraudulent practices.
Very bad experience at this store. I went to ask a simple question and the girl was so rude because i was not there to buy anything, but service related issue. I went to the Ditmars location after this and they helped me out with ease. I did not like the condescending attitude of the salespeople in this store. I’d save myself the unpleasant experience in the future and never visit this location again.
My husband went in today so he can put a SIM card and activate my daughters phone. Kyla made his life really difficult and left him frustrated with no help and no solutions. She confused him and didn’t activate my daughters phone. She did not help at all. He left and came back and another associate offered to help and indeed she fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Just goes to show you, how people are there to help and people are there to make your life miserable! That’s kyla!
The customer service was terrible and not polite. The lady kept saying that she doesn’t understand me when I clearly said I want to unlock my phone. She request to look at my phone but it doesn’t make sense that she takes my phone and I could have told her what she needs like IMEI number or serial number. I guess what bother me is the way she talked like she don’t give a f. Plus All employees are gather in one table which makes it a hot zone for COVID-19. Don’t believe pass by around 7:30 pm
Poor customer service and uninformed staff. The store rep Rose did not know how to reinstate my prepaid data plan. It felt like I was inconveniencing her for being a customer. Very poor customer service skills and bad attitude.Went to another location on 31st right off of Ditmars and they were able to resolve my data plan issue instatnly. Avoid this location if you can.
Besides the fact they trick you into thinking you’ll get a free phone or discount(it’s in the inflated price plans you can only select to get the “free” phone locked into a 2 year phone contract. They couldn’t even get my numbers ported over.So after 5 hours of tricky sales tactics I told them cancel the account I can’t even use and have a nice day.They called me nonstop for 3 weeks begging me to switch over and that they fixed the problem.One month later I have a 50$ bill for a reason customer support can’t even answer. I didn’t get any phones, numbers, SIM cards or any service.Stay away from this store and T-Mobile in general.
I went to this store yesterday with a problem I had with my GPS. The service representative looked at my phone briefly and insisted that I get a new phone because these phones are only meant to last 2-3 years and thats why my phone is acting up. I told him that I am not interested in purchasing a new phone because my phone is fairly new, but he said theres nothing he can do for me. I told him that his solution doesnt make any sense and that ibwill get in touch with t mobile customer service for further assistance. I called t mobil and the service representative was able to troubleshoot my problem over the phone and my GPS was fixed in 10 minutes. I am very disappointed with the pushy salesman at the store looking to make money by selling new phones instead of assisting existing customers by servicing the products they sell in their store.
Dont understand the negative reviews, my experience was beyond what I have gotten from any cellphone providers. The issues I had were with payment for switching over from AT&T. The management took over 30 minutes on trying to get a resolution. It was only after speaking with customer service and being on hold for a while were they able to get my refunds worth $288.60. Thank you, you did what I couldnt after trying many times.
I visited this T-Mobile on 02/13/20 after having called in advance to find out if they had the 128 GBS, Iphone 11. The response was a confident yes from a female associate. However, the phone was only available in black and purple. I headed over there anyway, since the T-mobile that I initially visited didnt have the phone I needed. They could only place an order online and receive Id get it in 2 days. So I went to the T-Mobile on Steinway. A second and different associate greeted me and confirmed they had the Iphone 11 with the storage I needed. However, only available in black and purple as the first associate had indicated over the phone. I proceeded to explain that on top of getting the new Iphone, I also had to return a 64 GBS phone I got as a mistake from the first T-Mobile I visited the day before. As I was explaining to the second associate, a third and last employed I interacted with, and who appear to hold a position of power in the way he expressed himself interjected our conversation and assure me he only had 64 GBS Iphones so they couldnt help me out. He saw I was reluctant to return my phone without getting the new phone first. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the last employee gave me false information or how I like to call it, a BS excuse to not have to deal with the return of the phone and have to put a second screen protector to the new phone. I know nobody likes to have to fix other stores mistakes, I get that, but it wasnt even that much work to go to the extend of misleading the customer.
Best T-mobile store in Astoria, I just opened 3 lines but unfortunately I went another store which I didn’t continue but I came here to complete my orders and i was also lucky to work with a salesman his name is (Mario) he was professional and honest in his conversation at the same time, if you go there ask if you can meet with him will make your life easy and flexible, highly recommended this location for T mobile..
Avoid this store at all costs. Went there to return my phone within the 15 days return police and was told you can’t return the phone to this store unless you bought it here. I told helpdesk person that I did ask about it and I can return my device to any store within USA. She then said if you bought it out of NY state you can’t return it. Went to another T-mobile store and returned it, no question asked. Called customer service and was told that this policy doesn’t exist. All stores have to complay with corporates general policy. They can’t make up rules just because they are lazy and don’t want to do their job. Worst experience with T-mobile.
I love going to tmoblie and staffs are help and nice to me. They ask what you need to help me with what problem inhave with my phone. One staff help me with getting a other phone because my phone i had when i went tmoblie dodnt work well so went to store she help me with my problem with me .I brought in website to get and buy Smart Watch in card.
I give one star for having the phone I wanted available. Otherwise, they sold me insurance I didnt ask for and found out a month later after the charges. Also, never mentioned the restocking fee... how do you miss that? Blame myself a bit also, as I was rushing and did not notice it until opened the box at home.
The staff has one person only good and the rest have no clue about what is going on. I do not know if they have no training or because they are busy chit chatting. But I went there couple times and the guy who was greeting customers, if you ask him for anything he would say no we dont have itI am sure if I asked him if the ocean has water? He would say no its dry!!Save yourself the time and walk couple blocks to the other branch on broadway and Steinway beside chase bank. They are really helpful.
Dont go here if you have questions concerning problems you may have with your phone. They will misinform you. They really dont know what they are doing here. My phone was saying iOS crashed. I was told to reset and erase all contents. I am so glad I didnt listen. Never again will I go here for advice.So dont waste your time. IncompetentTmobile store.
Order for me to get Justice I officially had to complaint to Tmobile via Twitter just to get things moved and also have the general manager replied back to me. I tend to go to the T-Mobile store thats on 21st Street and Broadway the manager there is Juan & the whole staff is cool theyre not trying to nickel-and-dime you. Just sit there and work through what youre looking for and what youre trying to get it no pressure you into purchasing anything and theyll let you know when you ready you can come back to them even if its more questions even if you just want to bomb the Wi-Fi or even just charge your phone then on her ask you about that cuz I know you were Tmobile customer they like having you in the store
Useless unhelpful employee didnt want to even take a look at my phone to see what the problem is. He just simply said I cant do anything aboutbit. The other employees were free and didnt bother saying oh let me see if I can help and simply just looking at me like dummies.
I’ve been a customer with T-Mobile for years now and I’ve been going to a lot of different theme of the locations and I’ve never got treated this way the manager in the store that we went directly to him and we ask him if you can buy iPhone 10 cash and big and I had a business account and he was like who’s acting confused and and and and he just left for no reason it was really hard experience and I just want to see in my opinion

2022-01-26Wonderful experience! We were waited on promptly by Nick. He expected that our repair would take 1 1/2 hours, but he would call if it was ready earlier. He did call 50 minutes later. Nick was helpful, courteous, and asked if we had any questions. Great employee!

2022-02-24I went in with an appointment to have my cracked iPhone screen fixed today. Angelo was extremely professional, helpful, and efficient. I dropped off my phone and came back to a perfect screen 1.5 hours later. Highly recommend going to Angelo!

2022-03-21Terrible service. Called in advance to see if they have a phone in stock and they told me they had it. Drove 1 hour to buy it only to find out they havent had the phone for almost a month. Either employees are lying to get you to come or staff is too incompetent to check a simple request. Do NOT recomend!!
