Miriam needs to work on her attitude !Its not enjoyable to need assistance and have someone talk to you as if you are bothering them. She doesnt smile in person and she is not helpful. If you want students to pay thousands of dollars please be kind to them when they have financial questions! THANK YOU!
I do not recommend the EMT-Basic program. My personal story is that I was cheated out of my money by these people, in an illegal and unprofessional fashion. They quite literally graded me falsely. They also forced me to quit the program because they “did not know I had epilepsy” although it was on the first page of my medical records. Everybody I was in the class with was disappointed with the program. Do not pay for this.
Wish I can give this 0 stars this school only cares about money they robbed me for tuition the school itself is old bathrooms are dirty the educators are not certified they talk about their personal life and do not teach anything supplies are very limited no new surgical packs to open but you pay 2wice as much as any other school if your looking in to programs choose NYU for half the tuition cost and more valuable to your medical career there is way more negative things for me to address DO NOT INVEST IN YOURSELF THROUGH HERE
I would be very cautious about this program. I had wanted to come in for EMT training and paid for admission. They later told me they don’t pay for financial aid for that program. Okay no problem, I didn’t want to join. It’s been over 45 days and I have received no refund as promised. I’m going to call and report this tomorrow if needed at their location. I cannot believe how careless they are being about this and it is unacceptable. I live in the neighborhood as well. BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. This place is a scam!
I do not recommend this school. I am currently in the DMS - General program and I regret it. They never reply to your emails, they make up rules as they go, they dont allow you to see what questions you got wrong on your exams bc of policy but how will i ever learn from my mistakes and actually believe i got them wrong? If you miss a day of class, you have to make it up, but your participation grade will still be 0. If you forget to complete an assignment, theyll allow you to make it up, but its still marked as a 0. The program currently is over $56,000 and its honestly overpriced for how they treat their students. The program director Chanie is never any help, One of the teachers, Larisa, is extremely rude. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a DMS program. I cant speak on the other programs they offer, but the DMS program here is not worth it.
I am in echocardiography and vascular track, love my experience so far. The staff are very nice, the school is well equipped with high quality lab, and the best clinical sites for training. The program director is on top of all the details in order to ensure that any issue is resolved as soon as it arises. Im almost halfway through, but Im sure before graduation day Ill have what it takes to be a professional tech.
I recently completed the EMT program at this school. It was definitely a great experience and worth it! The instructors were friendly and engaging, they made the learning experience that much more enjoyable. I enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend doing the EMT program at this school!
This school is amazing. The teachers are all very knowledgeable. The exams were tough but fair. They definitely prepare you for the licensure. I learned so much and graduated with confidence. I always recommend this school to anyone that ever asks me. The staff is very helpful and the best part is that everyone from my class is already working because we have a great career services department which helps with job placement and prepared us with mock interviews. The clinical rotations were very helpful as well, because we got to experience how it will be working with the patients first hand and not just hearing about it. Overall this school is really good and I couldn’t be happier. P.S I’m not a person who ever does reviews, but this school deserves the praise.
I only have great things to say about this school, more specifically the Radiography program. The staff was super supportive, as well as kind! If you put the work in, the staff will do anything they can to help you succeed. Overall, I had a great experience and love the career that I am pursuing with the help from CAHE.
This is a place to go to get an education in an essential field. I have worked with many graduates of CAHE and they come out of their program component, skilled and ready. I have recommended the school to many of my friends based on my professional interactions with their staff and graduates, and will continue to do so.
I participated in an online information session, and after hearing about the programs and schools affiliations, I decided to pursue my career in Sonography (MRI). I liked the ease of the application process and the enrollment checklist. Everyone in Admissions and Financial Aid was so nice, caring & knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, they replied to my emails and voicemails promptly, and they worked with me to make it all happen during a very difficult time. I cannot wait to be a graduate - I know that with CAHE education, I will succeed.
The staff and instructors do an excellent job in preparing you to work in the medical field. You feel confident by the time you are finished. Each instructor goes out of his or her way to make sure you understand the material being taught. Employers pick students out of this school even before they graduate. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in joining the medical field.
Great school! Definitely worth looking into if you are interested in a quick, compact and comprehensive program for a medical profession. I recently graduated the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at CAHE. Thank God, I had a very positive experience and found the material taught to be very thorough and directly applicable to the field. The school is also great about job placement! It’s hard for new graduates to get jobs as people always seek experience yet, the staff at CAHE really help set up interviews and set up career fairs so that students can connect to employers. I have recently graduated in July and thank God, already accepted a job. The way I landed my job was through this school when I met my employer at the school career fair. I had a wonderful experience!
Please consider what other people have said in the reviews section. CAHE administration has scammed me of over $2000 + We started out with 40 people and ended with 10. On the last day of class they made m sure that everyone already paid the tuition they go and tell half of the class that were not eligible to take the practical because we missed one class or two. Reminder this was during the corona virus pandemic where many many people were struggling to pay for the program meanwhile the class was suppose to be 4 months and they shortened it to 2 months online on Wednesday and Monday would be online. But of course they didnt want to offer us a discount because of the shortened course they still wanted us to pay the full 1500, plus the uniforms 75, the book a full 500, fisdap 80, and then the castle branch 400. These people havent even tried to be considerate and apologize. I had a 94% average and got the highest score on the final but that didnt matter they had rip us off and throw us out for the money. Funny part being that all of us applied for the 256 hour rotation but we werent able to complete over 100 and they didnt care either they said to continue after the entire class was over.
Worst school out here and that’s coming from someone already in the field. Doesn’tCare about students. Quote fromAn instructor in which a student who failed by one point. “ don’t call me anymore I’m not your instructor anymore.” Program not organized. Extra fees not told to students. 13 hour labs, told to look on google forInformation that should be taught to teachers. No payment plans available
This place really helped me prepare to be a surgical technologist. Our lab instructor and program director were extremely helpful. Theres no way I couldve graduated without their help. Its a tough program, but worth it. I learned a lot from the 3 clinical sites I went to. They arent the most glamorous hospitals, but they were still awesome and we all learned a ton. One huge con is that theres no parking. Youll rot in your car looking for parking. Theres a garage next door but its super expensive. Also tuition was like $20k but they accept financial aid. Anyway, the whole class passed the national boards the first time thanks to Dr. Sanchezs intense review classes. I would recommend this school. :)
Recently Graduated from the Diagnostic Medicine Sonography program and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner! I was so happy to be accepted and to have been apart such a wonderful team of educators who were there every step of the way! The program is definitely challenging, and if you put in work, stay on top of your material you will succeed! The clinical sites as well as lab courses will prepare you well by the time you graduate and looking to start your career! They will prepare you for the interviews and registry! Build your confidence and always have your back! Happy to say I am working full time and couldnt be more thankful to everyone at CAHE!
I loved my experience, I think it all depends with what mind set you start the school. I didnt expact anything other than hard work, but its so much more. I met really great supportive group of people, who made me believe in my self and I loved how people were helpful and dedicated. It wasnt easy but I think nothing in life that is easy is rewarding. I would recommend this school
Emt class professors were very helpful in the expansion of our education. The higher individual who runs the program is extremely irresponsible and rude. Especially when it comes to the consideration of the EMT students within the program. Sadly, our tuition isn’t as high as other programs offered so we are considered bottom priority. And need to be in constant search for the higher ups to even see if we meet the credentials m, and once you get a hold of them you are told things such as “that’s not my problem” or “go ask Sam” because they don’t want to deal with you or yours questions the rare occasion they show face. The only consistency is the inconsiderate attitude and the complete lack of responsibility when it comes to handling important paperwork that gets lost (on the staffs side) and updates on our success for the program. You are told to “take pictures” of rotation sheets, yet your preceptors are to fill them out put them in a sealed envelope and sign the seal so the school knows it hasn’t been tampered with. Yet they constantly lose the rotation sheets (which you need 265 hours in order to be considered to sit for state final in this school) and wasting peoples time by making the students run around chasing perseptors down in multiple hospitals in order to validate the hours the students already did and staff so graciously lost in the first place....When the hours could be validated with a simple phone call IF the school cared that much about their students as the websites claim. They need a better structural system so they don’t screw over as many students as they do. My class started as almost 20 students, only 4 get to sit for state finals for one reason or another. You are taught a lot, yes but the lack of consideration for their students is not worth the money or unnecessary aggravation you will have to endure while attending this school. Along with the 3,000 you will need to shell out for tuition and the extras that are required for the school. Ex: their “uniform fee” is $75 for two polos (one we received almost two moths in and the second towards the end of the semester ) (again their mistake for messing those orders up) with the schools name embroidered.... but you are required to buy pants, shoes, and tools in order to do rotations and simply to be allowed to walk in the building. Total joke“we abide by principles of courtesy, professionalism and discipline. ” perhaps you should take a trip to this specific site and suggest a refresh course for the workers because that is not what my class received

2022-03-04If I could give no stars I would however I can not, this school is not a school that you should attend. They take your Money if you fail a class they kick you out. If you dont pay them on time they suspend you then if you miss more than two classes that is an automatic fail. My time at this school was just time and money waisted. If you dont pass their mid summative exams you get kicked out. Some teachers care some act as if they care, but really dont. unprofessional and act as if you are children and dont respect you as an adult. BEWARE !!!! You could have gone through an entire year. this school doesnt care about your well being they care about their pockets being lined. 70k down the drain. RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY! NEXT STEP IS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DOE.

2022-06-03I should have read ALL of the reviews on this school. I was really super excited about coming here but they are all about the $$ and dont care about your education. The clinical clearance coordinator, David Izso, is NOT friendly at all. He called me multiple times about a vaccination that I had to wait to get due to doctor appts being booked out and was talking to me if I was a child. Very unprofessional. They terminated me on a Friday, 4 days before the next semester, and a holiday weekend for failing ONE class after allowing me to take a makeup final for another class knowing I was already going to be terminated. They booted me off my portal, I had no access to ANY grades, my agreement signed through the school email, or even access to the other portal where I was messaging my professor. I have friends in nursing SCHOOLS in NYC that are allowed to pay and makeup a class failed after the first time. This school, no. They want me to apply again to just take more money from me. They hounded me everyday to pay my balance but when you want to speak to someone in regards to grades they just send you to voicemail and terminate you. I do not recommend CAHE. Save your $$ and do your research just like most of these reviews say.

2022-05-11This school is a scam. I dropped out of school after attending for 1 week and they stole $2000 out of my $8500 student loan. Guys please be aware that they do not care about your education, it’s all about the money. Whoever is writing good reviews is lying and working for or getting paid by the school for the reviews.

2022-03-23I am currently a quarter 7 student in the radiography program. I work on the weekends, and I’m a full time student during the week. All the instructors go above and beyond to help you when you need extra assistance in grasping any material. I’ve also been a class rep since quarter 2 which has been rewarding in itself. Study hard, and you’ll be ok.

2022-04-07Overall not a bad school. There are good professors that truly want to help you succeed! They just need more professors to teach in person classes. Just a small school overal but they make it work.

2022-06-01The customer service and help of this school is very below average for a school that offers credentialing for those in a field of great help and customer service, I also believe their money hungry. There are way better school offerings within the 5 boroughs that actually care that will work to help you gain what you need.

2022-03-28The classes were challenging yet helped me learn what I need to know. I appreciate the help and resources that were given to the students to pass the SPI and their registries. The on site lab helped put our skills into practice. CAHE offers special learning centers if you ever need help with a subject or more practice with your scanning. I have had great placement in my clinical rotations and learned so much from those sites.

2022-03-30I am about to graduate from the DMS General program as a registered sonographer (was able to take my board exam about a month before my graduation date). Starting the DMS program was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. All of the staff and instructors were wonderful and helpful throughout my entire 2 years here. I had the opportunity to complete my clinicals at top hospitals and am so grateful!

2022-03-28I am a current senior at CAHE, in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. I cannot say enough good things about my school, from the quality of education to our amazing staff, CAHE truly goes above and beyond to ensure that we graduate with the highest level of education as well as the feeling of having built a new family within our school. There are endless resources to help students from the learning center to as simple as just having the access to email and ask any questions one may have. If you are interested in any medical program, I would absolutely recommend attending our school. I am grateful that I’ll one day be a CAHE alumni!
