This place is the BEST! Ever since we moved to this part of Yonkers many many years ago, my father would bring all three of our cars here for oil change, servicing, battery/ brake/ tire/ engine issues, any and all collisions we had with insurance involvement, they took care of it ALL! Even with my father gone, I still bring the cars in my own family to this shop even though I dont even live in Yonkers anymore- that should tell you something! They are trustworthy, honest and very reliable with their work, especially Al!! I do not have to worry about anything when it comes to repairs because their attention to detail is impeccable. You wont regret bringing your car here for all your needs!!

I just picked up my daughter’s Jeep from Central Autobody that was brought there following an accident and could not be more pleased with the results. The vehicle looks immaculate. I’ve known Al, the owner, for 20 years and he, Steve, and his whole crew are true professionals who take pride in their work and go out of their way to ensure the customer is satisfied. I highly recommend you visit this place first for any type of maintenance or body repair on any type of vehicle. You won’t regret it.
Al and Steve are very professional and nice. Their staff did such a great job replacing my rear bumper! I went in on a Friday, they ordered the parts that came in on Monday and they replaced it within a day. My car was brand new all over again including how clean it was on the inside! Highly recommend!

GREAT experience for someone who got into a major accident. A deer ran into my car and nearly totaled my car!!! These guys did the job like no other !!! Not one scratch or dent in sight. Not only was their work on point and great but they are very professional honest!!! great people!!! This is my 3rd time at their shop and I recommend them to anyone!!! Ive been taking my car here for all of its general maintenance since I moved to the area about 3 years ago and these guys treat me and my car so well! They provide excellent service and I trust them 100%. I dont know much about cars, but on multiple occasions Ive asked them to take a look at my car and they have suggested to do nothing or said its fine. I feel like other mechanics in the past have just done something and charged me in these scenarios. Its also always been very easy to arrange times to get work done, usually i just call when im on my way and they are able to accommodate me and provide quick service. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to have their car serviced!
The staff members are extremely professional; I don’t normally trust auto shops to do work on my car; but the first time I used their service I went for something small so I could get a vibe; I was so impressed and so completely satisfied. I can trust that the service is done professionally and on time. Most of the time when you put your car in the shop.... you have to keep calling them to see how things are going or if your car is ready and all that kind of stuff..,.... here.... you don’t have to do that...... they call you and keep you updated on the status and all....This shop is is all bout business; you wont get the run around; you won’t get the....chop shop side job work done on your car ..you just simply get what is needed to perfection....this shop is excellent..... the prices are great; the work is factory style; the location is great; the customer service is extremely professional and all together that just makes perfection. I can’t say anything negative about the shop because there’s nothing negative about it. I’m sure if you use their service once you will definitely become a regular at this shop. I came to know about Central Autobody 6 years ago after conducting my own search in the hopes of finding a great body shop, and I did! Steve and Al are two down to earth guys that are highly professional and very personable. Every interaction, and transaction I’ve had with them has been smooth. I’ve been bringing all my vehicles here for the past 6 years, and the work has been great! Shout out to all the hardworking staff at Central Autobody. Even though I moved out of the area, I still and always will travel to this shop. Teamwork reflects leadership, and they have an amazing team. Love you guys!!!

I have been bringing my cars to Central Auto Body for over 15 years .. The staff at the shop goes out of there way for customers . If you want your vehicle done the right way , from Auto body work or mechanic you will leave satisfied .These days are hard to find an honest mechanic , Al is very honest and was recommended to me many years ago for that reason. He has taken care of every vehicle i have owned with mechanic , inspection , and auto body work for the past 17 years . I just recently took my car forbody work from wear and tear from parking on the street and once again the shop did not disappoint me . Im very happy once again.. I want to thank the staff at Central Auto Body.
10/10 recommend Central auto body collision shop. After having my exhaust system ripped out by a local car wash company, I took my car here immediately. Al is the gentleman who helped me out big time. My car was there for about three weeks due to my busy schedule and being out of town. He understood and accommodated. After my new exhaust system shipped to the shop, two days later it was ready for pick up! Not only did they install the new system, they washed my car SUPER clean right before I picked it up. After this experience I’m only taking my car here.
This is the ONLY shop I trust to take care of my car. I made the mistake of cheating on Central Auto Body once by taking my car to the Nisan dealership to get a quick oil change. As a result, the mechanics didn’t properly tighten the filter properly and my car was slowly leaking oil!!! I took it to Al, the owner at Central Auto, and he and his team were able to quickly figure out the problem, fix it, and save my car from impending damage. I’ve certainly learned my lesson. There’s really no other place that can compare to Al’s (not even your car’s dealership I’ve learned!).I can promise the best service and care for your vehicle at Central Auto Body. There’s no tricks or added expenses for the exceptional work they do at the shop. Al is fair with pricing, generous even, and he is knowledgeable on the best and most necessary services for your car. They fixed my collision damage in less than the time estimated. My car looked better than new! It honestly looked better than the day I bought it. Hands down the best and most trustworthy auto shop Ive been to. I have had quite a few bad experiences in the past with mechanics who leave my car worse than it was when I brought it to them, only to end up wasting more time and money, but thats not the case here. Theres no one I trust more with my car than Al, Steve and the rest of the staff at central auto body. The service is excellent, the staff are always nice and professional, and they dont rip off their customers like many other places. Anytime I had an issue with any of my cars, I call Al and he gets it fixed quickly for me. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. I highly recommend this shop to everyone!
Must read this if you are very detail oriented like me. You want a place that is trustworthy, reliable and professional please do yourself a favor and go with these guys. Al and Steve are amazing and still amaze me until this day. My German car was rear ended twice and on the first occasion I had taken it to the dealer who had a body shop. The second time I was rear ended (I know my luck!) I took it to Central Auto Body Collision since they are so close to my home. I must tell you it is the best decision I made, and I would never take my cars to any other place. They found things that were not fixed correctly before and they even took care of for me. I got to see all of it with my own eyes the day I went there. My family and I know cars and I can tell you these guys are the real deal. I would not trust any work done to my cars that is not them. My car came back looking AMAZING. I feel safe and in peace knowing things are being done correctly. A year later I came in to install new front brake pads on a new-used car I bought, and Al and Steve did not charge me. They are truly great people who I would not think twice to recommend.

Central Auto Body is phenomenal!! Al and Steve are AWESOME!!! My Mercedes is like new again!! Thank God for Al who goes out of his way to help me in terrible situations. This time my vehicle was vandalized once again by perpetrators in Yonkers, NY. The staff at Central Auto Body is very courteous and professional. As a woman, I feel very intimidated by most auto repair shops, including the car dealerships. I was so impressed by their work and results the first time I went to them after a van hit my Mercedes ML 350 with 4 other vehicles as it was parked unoccupied. My vehicle was practically totaled. I never thought that my vehicle would look the same or that it could possibly be repaired from all the damage that was caused. To my astonishment, not only did Central Auto Body repair my vehicle, but it looked like a new vehicle, and ran just as well as before the accident. They took care of everything including dealing with my insurance company and the rental car company. I am so pleased with their attention to detail and caring about me as a customer, that I use them as my regular mechanic shop. I no longer have to travel to the Mercedes dealer that was charging me thousands more than Central Auto Body, and were not completing the repairs and routine maintenance as well as Central Auto Body. Now, its so much easier and cheaper for me to keep my Mercedes in excellent driving condition. They even picked me up and dropped me off to my residence when I didnt have a ride at no extra cost. I really appreciated this, since trying to get a cab in Yonkers is very annoying and they usually pick up additional passengers (almost like taking a bus or public transportation). I highly recommend Central Auto Body with the utmost sincerity!!

Great Shop!!!I have dealt with many auto shops during my 40 years of car ownership, but I have rarely had as positive an experience as I have had at Central Auto Body. I use them for all basic repairs to my 2012 Honda Civic. Al and Steve are scrupulous in their honesty, very pleasant to deal with, and more than fair in their pricing. They are the only shop that has ever fixed a small issue for less than 20 dollars. I needed tires and they convinced me that I brand I would not have considered -- about 50 dollars cheaper than the ones I had on the car -- would be better. They were absolutely right. I would trust them with all and any repairs, either body or mechanical.
Al has been helping my family for over 2-3 years now and regularly helps me with check ups, oils changes, and general questions. To say that he’s a great guy is an understatement. It’s rare that you see great business man that appreciates their craft, gives his all to his business, and also maintains amazing customer service. Steve and Al run a first class auto body and repair shop. I went to them for a cracked windshield replacement, they went out of their way to help me get my insurance to cover the job using OEM glass under the full glass coverage. This involved a lot of hassle and back and forth over 6 weeks, but we did finally get it done right. On the day of repair, they also gave me a free ride to/from train station. Their prices are reasonable (fully reimbursed by the insurer in my case), their shop clean and respectful, and they also do inspections. Definitely recommend you stop by with your issue and see the difference of using them for yourself!
My new truck was recently in a hit and run and I didnt hesitate to take it to central auto body, my family has been going to this location for some years now and no one has ever had an issue at all what so ever. Al is an amazing individual and he will go the long yard for his customers not to mention their work is top notch, which goes great with 5 star customer service. Five stars!!! The level of attention and service is amazing. Steve and his crew treat you like they’ve known you for years. They truly care about your satisfaction and make the entire process very simple. For anyone who’s had a ding here or a dent there, and anyone who is traumatized because of the damage to their car, this is the place to take it. Dropped my damaged front-end BMW and they managed to return it back to its showroom beauty. The paint is perfectly matched and the reflecting lines are straight. Al has to be the nicest guy in the business. I brought him a preowned car I recently purchased with some concerns that it might have been in an accident (it was not though). Al never met me before but told me to come in. When I got in he put the car on the lift and did a very thorough inspection and said I had nothing to worry about. He then educated me on the issue. Overall he spent a lot of time with me and didnt even charge me. When I insisted me take money, he refused. He is a class act. Theres a reason for the great reviews this shop receives.
Steve and Al are the best. I recently had an accident and my insurance company directed me to their autobody people. However, I knew I had the choice to work with a company I know and trust, so Instead I went with Central Autobody. It was full service as always. They picked up my car, fixed it quickly and perfectly and even picked me up from the rental car company. In addition, Steve skillfully managed my claim with the insurance adjuster and the insurance company. It was 5 star service that went seamlessly. Thank you Steve and Al.
Al and his team provided with outstanding service! Very professional and took the time to explain what was being done with my repair and why. When my Mercedes was sideswiped, I called Al. He immediately had the car towed and worked with the insurance company to get the car repaired with very little involvement on my part. He promised the car would be fixed within a certain time and delivered. When I got my car back, it looked better that it did the day I picked it up from the dealer. I am beyond ecstatic with the service I received at Central Auto Body Collision. My car came out brand new as if I had just gotten it from the Dealer. My experience at this body shop was nothing but amazing. The service was fast and prompt and they made sure I received excellent results. This shop is certified in several auto makers which means they replace your parts with factory manufactured parts. When I arrived I waited for an estimate, dropped off my keys and they dropped me off to the train station. In 2 days my car was finished and they picked me up from the train station and brought me to the shop. My car looked amazing! Im glad I decided to take my car here.
I’m so glad I found and met Al and Steve. After a rear end accident that happened a couple weeks ago my car was in pretty bad condition. I searched up body shops near me and found these guys. I went to them since they had great reviews and were Honda pro first certified. When I came there I was pretty nervous but Al looked at my car and really took care of me. He reassured me that he’ll make my car even better than before and I wouldn’t notice it’s been rear ended once they were done. He was right; my car looks amazing again and Al and Steve took care of me the whole way. They would let me come in and check in on the progress and even explained what they were doing step by step. They really treat you like family and I would defintley come back to them for any help. If anyone needs work done on their cars you should defintley come here!
Could be wrong but Im pretty sure I just dropped 30 dollars for nothing. Guy s were supposed to rotate tires but my rear right tire which is missing a hub cap is in the same spot. Didnt notice till I left. Not worth going back to confront. Shame. Owners seem nice but, I guess Ill just do it myself from now on. Lesson learned

After multiple experiences in car collisions and comprehensive claims , I can attest to the level of expertise and professionalism for Central Auto Body. The first time the door of my new 2016 Honda Civic was completely destroyed , in a hit and run 4th of July weekend , I foolishly took it to another shop, where the wiring was not only left unplugged but also the door was oversprayed and just done so poorly. It doesnt take a professional to see bad work. This time around I finally made the right decision to come here. From the moment I brought the car in Steve made it feel like everything was being handled how it shouldve been. He guided me throughout the entire claim process and also the rental car service. The customer service is impeccable and they go out of their way to remind you that youre not just a claim number , but also a person. As for the shop ... Clean , modern , and organized. The place speaks for itself and youll be mistaken to find a better shop.

Took my car to have my trunk repaired from a small collision i was involved in. Spoke to Steve who sold me on what on how they worked so I left the car with them to be repaired. The claims adjuster goes down to the shop to look at the car and eventually a price is agreed on between the insurance and the body shop. An email was sent to Steve shortly after the adjuster looked at the car so that the work could get started. I call a week later to see what the status of the car was and it was just sitting in the shop. The insurance had to call them and speak to them and the work was eventually started. It took another 2 weeks to get the car done. I asked Steve on 2 separate occasions if he could clean up some spots in the front of the car in which i would pay separately in which he said he would take care of it and when i showed up to get the car, he did not take care of anything and said he forgot. They charge the insurance company double of what they originally agreed on for a total of over $7000 for what seemed to be not so big of a dent in the trunk and in total they take close to a month to get it done. In fairness, he did offer to touch up what i asked him to do originally if i brought the car back and i was to leave it overnight but with what they put me through, I figured they might keep the car another 2 weeks and decided i would pass on that especially being that this is my only means of transportation. I should have known something could go wrong when i first walked into the shop and Steve tells a worker there that when this insurance company calls (Whomever he was dealing with at the time) to simply say that he was not available. Horrible experience....Not good business practice.
Central Auto Body Collision of Westchester is the best place for any collision or car repair. They know their business very well. My van was totalled from behind and the side was damage when I brought it to them, they fixed it better brand new. And their price very reasonable. Al is the man, he understood my needs very well.
I have the upmost trust and respect for Central Auto Body when it comes to dealing with cars. It is the most efficient and reliable shop in all of Westchester. I always come here and Al always does right by me and my family. Him and his mechanics know cars inside and out. They are quick to figure out the issue and resolve it at a very fair price. Recently had an issue with my car where every time I drove, I heard a clicking noise coming from the right side of the vehicle. The noise grew increasingly worse over the last two weeks, urging me to have it checked out. Having been burned with bad experiences at other shops in Yonkers, my husband encouraged me to come to Central Auto Body as he just recently discovered this local gem with an owner who has earned his trust and respect. I drove my car over right before the place was due to close, and rather than impatiently hearing me out while watching the clock, they took the time to take my car out for a test drive, locate the problem, and lo and behold, half an hour later, found two rocks which had been caught up under a plastic shield on the underbelly of my car! Rocks removed, they test drove it again with me (again, never showing any frustration or impatience with it now being past closing time), and the clicking sound was gone and my vehicle is back to new! What a praise! Also, how refreshing to see men treat me as a young lady with courtesy, integrity, and professional kindness. Customer service is TOP NOTCH. Rare to find. My husband and I will frequent this shop as long as we reside here!
There is one thing that is undervalued in business (and society) and that is courtesy. And thats exactly what I got from Al and his team yesterday when I was looking for a place to help me install my front license plate and also change the NY registration sticker to the correct side (female, first time car owner... I thought it does not matter what side of the windshield its one - lol :-) Trust me, its really hard to remove that sticker without breaking it but he did in no time. A very professional experience and I am happy I found a place to come back to when my car will need some TLC. Thank you so much!!!

Bar none the best body shop Ive ever had the pleasure of having my car at. Ive seen many a body shops do cut rate jobs just to get their pockets lined and screw over a customer but this isnt one of those places! These guys take pride in their work and are worth every penny that they charge! I had been rear ended by another driver while on the highway and ended up needing some work done. I thought it was seemingly minor damage (little did I know that there was more underlining damage done to the tune of $12k+) and they had my car looking fresher than the day I drove it off of the lot! Al and Steve are masters of their craft and I refuse to bring any future vehicle in need of repairs elsewhere!

The service at this auto body shop was absolutely amazing! After a long trying day of tickets and a car accident, I had been sent over to Al to repair my passengers side view mirror this evening. Exhausted and low on funds, I drove over to the shop with hopes that someone would be able to help me with my problem. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by friendly faces which was exactly what I needed to see after crying crocodile tears all day. Luckily, those friendly faces were able to help me, and they did so in less than a half hour! The best part of my experience was the pricing of the job. How can you beat free? Now, I know youve read some of these review comments above mine. One particularly from my best friend, Siobhan Clarke. Please let me be the first to say that there was no exaggeration in her review!!! With that said, I am certain that the other reviews are just as honest and true! I strongly advise and recommend that if any of you reading this are in need of some type of body work done on your car to go to Central Auto Body Collision. Theyre open until 6pm Monday through Friday, so dont worry about rushing over to beat the usual 5pm closing time. Always a great experience when going to Central Auto Body. Having to go through insurance and car repairs can be stressful, but Al and Steve take all of the stress out of the process. Repairs are always done beautifully, one would never know that there was anything wrong with the car before. For a perfectionist like me, I will never go anywhere else.

My husband and I had the luck to come across this shop when we lived in Yonkers. We moved to Orange County and we still come to this shop every time we need to. Ive been to these guys three or four times over the past couple of years asking for everything from a routine inspection to pretty intensive body work. Simply put, Al and Steve are the best. Certainly the best shop in the Westchester area. Al and Steve are both genuine guys who know a great deal and will communicate clearly with someone who is not an expert (and do so without being patronizing). Great prices, great service. Old school, no frills, the real deal. The best aspect is that they work quickly, and will not waste your time! Highly recommended
We have turned to Central Auto Body several times, most recently for major collision related work on our new 2019 Volvo XC90 T6 and cosmetic work on our 2006 Ford Mustang. Al, Steve and their crew take pride in doing the job right and dont cut corners. Both cars looked brand new, like they just rolled off the dealers lot. The Volvo has a lot of technology that all functions perfectly. We give Central Auto Body our strongest recommendation.

We’ve received advice a few times from them and besides the last experience which took 3 weeks for a bumper fix on a Mazda CX-5 2017 they look out for your best interest to make sure the car is getting fixed to its best. Would recommend.
This shop is, by far, the best auto body shop I have ever used! The two owners are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable and the work that this shop does is spectacular. I have had both a 2007 Acura MDX and a 2013 Ford Mustang repaired here, after each having been in accidents, and both cars came out of this shop looking and driving impeccably. This is the only shop my family and I will bring our cars to.

Great customer service, I want to get a photo taken for my insurance. The man was so nice and very professional the place was very clean and it did not smell. They also have a repair service and they do NY state inspection. I was happen to know they are Acura Certified.

Extremely excellent And honest auto body. Literally has done work on 4 different cars for over the past 15 years. I been to him more then 8 times in 15 years. Even for the smallest things. He doesn’t only do collision work. However I’ve mostly used him for collision work due to accidents.

Today was a trying day, for both my best friend and I. We were in a minor collision in Manhattan, an unfortunately her right mirror was taken off her Chrysler 200, 2011 model. Shaken up we were quite distraught, we started calling around and we found a Junk yard that had the part. The gentlemen referred us to them to do the work, taking off the whole side mirror and reconstructing it with the piece left from the collision. Prompt with customer service, the President of the company Mr. Al Omoush met us at our car telling us to pull into the garage, and he quickly had one of his workers assist us right away. Sitting in the car, we looked at each other wondering how much it was it going to cost for the work. We were quite low on funds!! A couple of minutes later Mr. Al Omoush appeared to check on the progress with the car asking if we needed anything else. So, she asked how much it was going to cost. So he said, $150.00!! Yes folks, he also has a wonderful sense of humor. We said, Oh no! He was like, its fine, Im just kidding. Putting us at ease. He offered us comfortable seating in the office while the car was being serviced. While waiting, we still didnt have the foggiest idea as to what the work was going to cost. So in walked in Mr. Al Omoush, being attentive and caring about our situation asking how much could we afford to pay..... we said $20.00.... LOLOLOLOL seriously, we said $20.00!!!!!! He looked at us, in disbelief. He said, come on guys, that isnt even realistic. But let me work out the numbers, and ill let you know. Shortly after, he comes in telling us, that the car was done and that he wasnt charging us for the work done on the car. ITS FREE GIRLS, FREE, GO HOME, PUT YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET AND ENJOY YOUR DAY!!! We were so shocked, but so ecstatic that we were able to save money. You know that most auto repair shops try to rob you blind, but no here. Theyre more than fair, and exceptionally generous.Excellent service wouldnt even be the word to describe the service at this Auto Body Shop. They care about your experience and they do phenomenal work. The mirror works perfectly, like nothing happened to it. 2021-12-16Came here to get my front bumper fixed. They were incredibly friendly and repaired my bumper that same day an hour after I dropped it off. They told me the service would be within my own budget. They are fast, professional and incredibly reasonable when it comes to pricing their services. I will absolutely be returning in the future! Cannot recommend them enough.

2021-06-19Central Auto Body Collision is absolutely brilliant. My car was making a horrid grinding noise that needed to be fixed. I had taken my car to one shop, and it was a nightmare they told me I needed several things replaced. They quoted an insane price, I really felt they were trying to take advantage of me, and didn’t trust them and left.I wanted another opinion to confirm & did some research and found central auto body collision and made the trip from the Bronx to Yonkers to see what they thought the issue was. The owner and his staff were extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and informative. They explained what was going on with my car and told me that I needed new pads & rotors. The price quoted was an affordable price. Not only that, but they did the repairs to my car without an appointment and allowed me to wait.I am beyond pleased and highly recommend Central Auto Body Collision if you’re looking for an amazing trustworthy mechanic. 2021-06-30Al at Central Auto Body is the best. I’ve been taking my 25-year-old Jeep (with 185k miles) to him for over 12 years and he is the sole reason it still runs. (He knows how much I love that old Jeep.) He is honest, reasonably priced, and always explains exactly what needs to be done, which I appreciate more than I can say. Plus he will always fit me in whenever I call, not like most other auto repair places who make you wait days (or longer). Everyone needs a mechanic they can trust and Al is most certainly your man!
