I wish I can give them less then one star still I m rating them 1 star ..we were 5 years old customers buying glasses and contacts for me and my wife today we had a bad experience with new girl she was full of attitude after showing couple of glasses she was Start making face then finally we choose 1 glasses then decide to go for it just ask one question from sales girl hows your prices compare to other store and online she really being rude to answer and replied not to waste my time so we just walked away and they lost good customersI just suggest owner to teach them how to do the customer service every consumer have a right to check the prices from other store.we found same glasses and lenses 60% less then they were offering.Not recommended to anyone or my friends.
Fabulous selection of fashionable eyeglasses, Im never disappointed. The staff are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Ghossn is one of the best Optometrists that Ive dealt with on Long Island...he goes above and beyond the call of duty.
From start to finish Central Nassau Optical is exceptional. Their service and team were so helpful and thorough helping me with my new glasses. I tried on so many frames and I am so happy with my choices with the help of their wonderful staff. Dr. Michael Ghossn actually found an extreme problem with my right eye months before that he sent me to specialists. Two eye surgeries later I went back to them for my glasses. I will be forever grateful to him and the staff. Thank you Central Nassau Optical!

Ive been going to Central Nassau Optical and I highly recommend you try them. I know youll stay! The doctors and staff are caring, professional, and simply excellent at what they do. I moved from Levittown to Saint James and still go to them. I would much rather travel then think about going anywhere else!😊
Very helpful to my daughter today! Her glasses were close to falling apart & by the time we walked out they felt brand new! So glad they were open & available to the neighborhood. Very nice people. Would definitely visit again.
This is by far the best place to go for your eyeglasses, contacts and exam. Dr. Ghossn will promptly get on the phone and talk to you anytime. He has helped me numerous times with my contacts. The rest of the staff, Vanesa, Veronica, Mishelle and Edwin are wonderful too. Everyone here is friendly, helpful and very caring. I wish all my doctors and staff were this wonderful!
Everyone there is so sweet! My eye exam was great and the Doctor explained everything really well. The people in the front helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses too!
I just did the eye exam in the store, the service of the eye doctor was good. He was very patient to take each step. But when it came to the sales, the experience became terrible. I told the sale that I just want to have eye exam to have prescription. She became very impatient, and let me feel that she just tried to got rid of me and stop wasting her time on me. When I asked her for the prescription she said they were not allowed to give PD. She said that only when they make lens then they measure PD. Are you serious?! An eye exam without PD? Serious!! I never want to return this store anymore. Hopefully, I remember my PD when the doctor show me these numbers. Good doctor, bad sales. If possible I will fill complain with dept of consumer.
Central Nassau Optical is my family’s go-to for glasses and contacts. I’ve been going to Dr. Ghossn for over 20 years. Veronica, Vanessa and the rest of the team are great and always take the time to make sure I choose the right frames. If you want to be treated by doctors that care and staff that is friendly and considerate go to Central Nassau Optical. The inventory of designer frames and sunglassses is also unbeatable.

I have been going to Central Nassau Optical for as long as I can remember. The Drs and staff are very helpful and understanding. I would recommend to everyone. If you havent been there yet, give them a chance. You will be very satisfied.
I have been using central for a few years now. I have used others in the past that were pretty good , but not close to central Nassau.Their products are great, but the staff are what really pulls them ahead of all the others. I cannot say enough good things about Central Nassau Optical and Dr. Michael Ghossn. I came in needing an occupational vision test and was greeted very friendly by his staff. Dr. Ghossn performed a thorough exam and filled out the necessary paperwork that he was not familiar with, but was very patient in working with it. Thank you everyone at Central Nassau Optical, you deserve outstanding praise and merit.

I was very happy with the service and expertise of everyone at Central Nassau Optical. I have been going there for years and they have always treated me well, they have always taken care of my needs and they have always been friendly and helpful.
Not a happy camper with the service - brought a pair of glasses in last week and they told it would be ready for pickup late Friday, early Saturday. So I went there on Saturday to pick them up. No glasses. No courtesy phone call to let me know that they would not be ready. I have been going there for about 6 years. Guess that will be the last time. They did not offer a discount either. Really disgusted.........
Always quick and efficient. Never had a bad experience in the 15 years I’ve been going. Always extremely helpful and looking to make sure you get the best care.
The staff is very professional and kind. The eye doctor suggested multi focal contact lenses for me and they work great. I would recommend to anybody
Veronica, Vanesa, and Dr. Ghossn are the best! I moved away from Levittown and I still travel to go to them because they make you feel at home. Plus, I love when Veronica and Vanesa wave their arms as I come in to say, McDougal!! Love putting on an eyewear fashion show for them too.

2020-06-14Over the past 10 years, Ive gotten my progressive lenses at Nassau Optical twice, as well as my prescription mirrored sunglasses.The are most knowledgeable, helpful and friendliest staff! E one of them. Great selection of frames. Very fair prices. Also, if you have it, they use your vision insurance well.I trust them and will return again when the time comes.

2019-04-30I had 2 experiences at Central Nassau Optical, and both were excellent!More recently I had an exam, and needed new glasses. The lovely young woman that assisted me was very knowledgeable and confident on what would look good. I tried on several pairs and she was patient, and honest, which I appreciated greatly.When I picked up my glasses it was toward the end of the day, but I wasn’t rushed. The 2 eye specialists were genuinely happy that I was happy with my new glasses. Warm and friendly, and really knew their trade. I walked out feeling like I received the best personal attention in a very long time.Thank you, CNO! I recommend your business anytime someone mentions they need new glasses!

2021-01-02Great place 10/10 . Got contacts here on recommendation and honestly they were super patient, took me an hour too put them on and at no point did i feel like i was bothering , the receptionist really make this place feel very comfortable and the doctor is more open to leave you satisfied then making a quick dollar. Even let me try contacts with my prescription for free for two weeks before i bought more to make sure the brand size and prescription was suitable.

2020-03-04I wish I could give this 5 stars because it was a wonderful experience.This place is clean and well-kept as well as modern. They’re glasses collection was pretty good. The customer service was excellent. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Very informative. I never got the sense of feeling rushed but rather that they enjoyed doing this. They helped me to choose what financial options I had for my glasses. The girls and the doctor worked very well together. The ophthalmologist was very knowledgeable and thorough during my visit. One time they even stayed just a little later after closing when I was coming straight from work knowing how far I was traveling. However, I was a bit disappointed that the lab initially got the wrong shade color and I had to go back for it to be sent back to them and corrected. Also, the man that does the measurements to find the center of where the eye rests for the shades; I felt he rushed my measurements without using the ruler, he literally took 2 seconds. I was still moving when he placed the mark on the shades. When my friend asked if he was going to use the ruler he brought out, he said that if we knew how long he’d been doing this then we “wouldn’t ask that question” and walked away. Needless to say I Still have a slight discomfort seeing through the shades especially while driving. I am sure they would have fixed it had I returned but I my time did not allow as I was going away, and since I live one hour away I didn’t feel to make a fifth and sixth visit. However, overall this place was excellent and I’m still happy with the service I got. It is now my go-to spot. I will definitely be returning in the future once I need new prescription!

2019-11-08Central Nassau Optical has a great variety of quality frames and lenses. They do a better exam for adjusting my prescription than my own Doctor. Their patients helping me pick a new frame is why I have been going to them for years. Denise

I have recommended friends and family, all of whom have been as happy as I. Their customer service is excellent, along with the ease in scheduling appointments and receiving new contacts and glasses quickly.

2020-11-14Used this place for 15 years both me and my wife at least a thousand dollars a year in glasses and contacts. Referred family members to them . and today I was treated like I was a first time customer that they had no time for. And of course lets blame covid. Lost a good customer and family business as well today. Never realized how phony they all are

2017-08-19I really had a great experience on my visit with Dr. Michael, he was so professional, an explained every aspect of the exam. He tried several different lenses until I was able to see exceptionally well, I was impressed, and for the first time in a long while i was able to see clearly. Also I was a bit nervous, because Ive never worn glasses in my life, however the staff Veronica and Vanessa really talked me through it and eased all my fears. They were also very patient with me in selecting frames, and at no point did they try to persuade me to get over priced lenses, or anything that I wasnt interested in. Overall I loved my experience today, and would recommend my family and friends.
