I have been taking my dogs to Central Park Animal Hospital since 1983. The same two vets have been there all that time, Dr. Latson and Dr Persico. We usually see Dr. Latson. He is very gentle and kind with the animals, and very knowledgeable. The facility is not state-of-the-art or fancy, but neither is it expensive. Ive never felt like I was being overcharged for any services, nor did I ever feel that anyone was trying to sell me something that my dog didnt need. Also, the support staff has remained very stable over the years, which I think is a good advertisement for any well-run establishment. Although I moved approximately thiry minutes away from CPAH in 2002, for me it has remained worth the trip.
Not only are they the best, they are affordable ... especially if you are lucky enough to have multiple pets. They are not afraid to suggest holistic remedies. Weve those remedies and they completely cured our pets ailment. The best. Weve been going there close to 30 years. Love them.
I brought a new cat in to the office for my elderly aunt to have her cats nails trimmed by Andy, the vet Tech...Andy was very nice and the cat was calm and no trouble for him...This place is great and very affordable...They mentioned my aunts carrier was not in great shape...Being elderly on a limited budget, the kindly donated to her a new soft sided and beautiful carrier to her for the cat..I dont think this would happen anywhere else!..Thank you Andy and Dr. Latson and staff.

2019-10-25Best place to take your pet. They really care about your pet and not your pockets! Ive been going here for so many years I cant remember. Staff is friendly and helpful. They only have one Vet Dr now, getting in as a new patient... might be kinda hard. I absolutely love this place and will not go anywhere else. Thank you Tina for helping me. ♥️😺🐈🐾🐕🐩🐶🐾💜

2020-10-27It was actually for my sisters cat, the vet seemed nice enough and they came out and got the cat so no Covid exposure. The only negative I had was the 35-40 minutes we waited before the examination even though we were a few minutes early for the appointment. I would generally recommend though.

2020-02-07Central Park Animal Hospital is hands down the best vet in the city. They are kind, compassionate people who always make time for your non-human family. On top of that Dr.Latsons knowledge and experience are one of a kind.

2016-07-18I have been going to this clinic since the early 70s, when I suddenly found myself the mother of a stray cat. 45 years later, I still bring my animals there. I have a list of reasons: their expertise, humanity, frankness, compassion (not just for their furry patients, but for their patients owners as well) and I trust them. The care is excellent, and the people there, all the way around, have always been wonderful.

2019-11-23My family has been with Dr. Latson and his late wife for many years. The entire staff is like family and treat your pet like their own. I cannot imagine taking my pets anywhere but here!

2017-06-24Dr. Latson offers his services to the Niagara county SPCA and helps a lot of injured and or disabled animals. He seems experienced and very knowledgeable. He also has cats that greet you when you walk in (which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are... For me, its a good thing 😉). His front desk staff could afford to be a little friendlier though.
