Went to this place after getting screwed at my previous mechanic. Kevin was awesome, sent me my entire diagnostic in a super comprehensible document that spelled out every issue and price for parts and labor.When I called back to ask some questions Kevin took time to answer every single one. First time I felt a mechanic was actually trying to help out and not just make some money off me. Couldnt recommend enough.
I booked an appointment online and it was a piece of cake. When I got there, I was greeted with a smile and taken care of immediately. For the few minutes I stood by, it was a pleasure to be in such a clean facility for once. I also very much loved the K- CUPS for a fresh cup of coffee... My favorite. They will be seeing me again, for sure.

2021-12-04Wow! What a great team. Kevin is extremely professional and honest along with being very accommodating to all his customers.The atmosphere in the shop while waiting for my car was amazing, never a dull moment. With his team of highly skilled technicians. Rob(head mechanic) and Umberto(welder/tow master) they got my car in and out. Talked me through every repair and got me the best deal on parts for my car. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Rob was also very informative and passionate about his work giving me the confidence that my car would be fixed right the first time. Berto as they call him around the shop had some of the best looking welds I’ve seen in my life time, fixed my noisy exhaust leak leaving my car sounding smoother then jazz. Truly the best shop on Long Island. They do it all

2022-05-17This guy, Kevin Anderson is selling item on Facebook as well as probably at his shop.I never asked you to fix your lift. The fact you would use the word entitled is ridiculous. I simply asked you if the handicap lift had power to the remote control. It requires you start it up, and look at a light. No different than if someone asked you to look at a headlight.That was too challenging for you being a mechanic and all.Guys, if you are trying to buy something from this guy, dont ask him a basic question. You will get i dont know, read the the description, type answer.Vast amounts of buses have a lift. They have a power button, and an LED light. You are simply trying to justify your lack of motivation and desire to even remotely attempt to answer a very reasonable question by telling me i should drive all of the way to you, to investigate what you can easily do in 2 minutes.It is not high specialized and you should feel embarrassed by your answer as a mechanic. A 5 year old kid can do this without instruction.

2021-12-17I would recommend Central Service to everyone. Kevin is a real stand up man who goes above and beyond for his customers. When I call Kevin there is never an issue. Kevin is super friendly and explains everything he is doing. I would never go anywhere else for any of mine or my family’s car repairs. Kevin and central Service are a real class act which is hard to find these days!!!

2021-12-17I use Central Service for all my car needs from oil change to tires, to brakes. They are always priced well do a phenomenal job and never give you the run around. Kevin and Central Service are the only place to go for your cars needs

2021-06-12I was referred to central service by a friend. I went there after the Honda dealership told me I needed 2 repairs that would cost about $700 ($400 & $300) I only needed the one repair that Honda said would cost $400 and I paid $288. The fellow that helped me said I didn’t need the other $300 repair. They did a great job there, saved me money, and got the job done quickly. Definitely will be going back for any other repairs that I need.

2021-06-10Kevin and Rob provided such excellent service! I came in last minute and they fixed my hood and did an oil change in under an hour. Going to the mechanic can be intimidating for gals, but they were so friendly and talked me through the whole thing. Thank you guys!!

2020-09-04Kevin was amazing. He went above and beyond in terms of getting my car into the shop at night, answering all my questions, giving me advice on what to do going forward, and was extremely communicative during the whole process. He uses a modern quote system where you can see the breakdown of the quote and accept/approve it right on your phone which was very convenient. One of his employees, Rob, was just as nice when I came in while he was still working on my car. He made sure that I was fully updated on what was going on.They are good, honest people who do good, honest work. They could have tried to sell me a new alternator or a new battery, but Kevin did the right thing and only got me what I actually needed.
