Weve been mail-ordering our coffee from Cerini for years. Their selection and quality are amazing, and the orders arrive incredibly fast—which is great when you want a perfect cup of coffee!
I found Cerini by random search showing a particular gluten-free pasta that was out of stock locally in my area and with other online suppliers I use frequently. I have been using Cerini for all my espresso needs for about two years. The products are excellent, but the customer service exceeds all expectations. Shipping takes ONE DAY! That in itself is amazing. If they dont have something in stock, they will call you directly to find out what the customer wants as a replacement. I cannot say enough about Cerini. An American from an Italian family on both sides (not that you have to be, even if you were just blessed with one side, or wish you were Italian), I have sought to keep our family background alive, at home. For me, its the small things, like our morning daily caffè from a moka (stove top) or an afternoon shot from the macchina (machine), or a glass of Chianti Classico with an Italian entrée (less portion/lower carb to fit into aging boxer shorts) viewing the evening sunset. These seemingly small rituals remind me of warm talks with my Nonna, playing a game of briscola (card game). Johnny and his Mother keep this Italian culture alive by offering Italian products and warm, friendly (Simpatico) service as if youre talking to family. They help keep my family Italian culture alive, too, as I enjoy food and caffè with my daughter (a half blessed Italian). Thank you, Cerinis! -Davide
Ordered online and received a notice only hours later that the order had already shipped out! The order was exceptionally well packaged for shipment. UPS and FedEx in Syracuse and Binghamton both deliver me boxes that look like theyve been dragged behind the truck on a chain, so for a box with pasta and glass jars to be delivered without any damaged items inside totally made my day! I will absolutely be ordering from here again! I hope to be able to visit the store in person after the world back to normal-ish again -- it looks like an amazing place!
I am amazed at the service! I had the Passalacqua coffee I ordered in hand in less than 24 hours. The website is very well put together and easy to use. Ill definitely be back for coffee and other Italian specialties I cant find locally. Im pleased as punch I happened across Cerini Coffee.
I have been buying my espresso pods from them for over two years, the persistence of amazing customer service and fantastic shipping has made me never think about switching vendors. I’m writing this February 2021. Great first experience with Cerini. I ordered a replacement part for my espresso machine from Cerini. I had never heard of them. I found the part on line. Still had questions so I called. They answered my questions right away. Fair price, friendly & knowledgeable team, and lightning fast delivery. I’m a fan!
I was in the market for an Olympia Express Machine. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable, took loads of time to help me out, streamlined the purchase and shipping and basically bent over backwards to make my experience as good as it could have been. Right around Easter I ordered 4 chocolate Italian Easter eggs. Such a tradition from when I was a kid, and I don’t see them around anymore. I’m from Chicago, and when I googled places to buy them....this business came up. I could not believe how fast they were shipped.Now when they arrived, 2 of them were super broken which was a bummer. I reached out to the company, and received an answer pretty quickly. I couldn’t believe how great the customer service was. I was sent two new chocolate eggs the very next day. Fantastic Experience! Ive recently gotten into specialty coffee and home espresso brewing. After pulling the trigger on a pro-sumer machine and grinder, I had a ton of questions.I was treated like a human being, the patient knowledgeable staff gave me individual attention and answered all of my silly questions. I even left with a great recommendation for my first beans to start brewing.Im so glad this place is close to where i live in a familiar neighborhood. I will be coming back for all of my home barista needs.!
I have an old Saeco Vienna Deluxe espresso machine, which Ive had for a long time and dearly love. It recently needed repair and I immediately sent it to Cerini. I had brought the same machine there years ago for another problem and they had done the repairs quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price, and then shipped it back to me. And not only that, later, when I had minor problems and called, the repairman (often Mr. Cerini himself) talked me through it in a patient and authoritative manner. So I knew if I sent my machine to Cerini Coffee and Gifts that they would provide the same excellent service. And, you know what? They did. Amazing in every way. Brought my manual espresso machine here when the repairs got beyond my skill level. There was a 2 week wait for them to look at it, but once they started the team was prompt, thorough, thoughtful and it came back working and looking better than ever.Also they have an amazing selection of specialty Italian products, and everyone who works there is just delightful.
Cerini has been repairing and cleaning my espresso machines for over 10 years. It is always a pleasant experience. The help I received from Cerini coffee after purchasing a new Brew Group & Grinder Burrs for our Saeco Comfort Magic coffee/espresso machine was extraordinary. I purchased the machine in 2006 (12 years ago) and it has been used daily ever since. Without Johns help I would have had to take it in to a repair center to have the parts installed. I called him 8-10 times within a 3 hour period. He remained calm and helpful until we got the new parts installed and the coffee machine was back in operation - as new! Thank you Johnny Cerini!
WOW! No REALLY! WOW! You can buy coffee at thousands of places. But, especially now, customer service is so important (and very hard for a lot of companies due to staffing issues). Cerini? I found them because I needed a part for my coffee machine. They were so helpful and it was very quick. I decided, instead of grabbing my coffee at the supermarket, to give them a shot. I got a phone call confirming if I wanted whole bean or ground (I put ground on one, and whole bean on the other two because I misread the description). They taught me some new words and sent out my order. I will be buying my coffee from a small business that still makes sure customer service is a priority! Thank you to all the staff! Be well!
Great company to deal with! Love Cerini. Have ordered parts and coffee several times. Always get what I need for my Starbucks Barista to keep the coffees brewing. You will get advice on servicing your espresso maker, and they really take care of their customers. Was so happy to learn that Johnny, the owner, was personally taking charge of my order!

They are the ONLY distributor in the country for the brand I purchased so I did not expect great customer service as they are the only game in town but much to my surprise SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH!!!I spoke with Johnny Cerini and he was super helpful and followed up throughout the whole process even getting in touch with me after it was delivered. I live in CA and needed a part for my expensive Saeco Coffee Machine. Saeco directed me to Cerini. I easily & simply ordered the part [great site] and within an hour received notice the part was shipped to be delivered in 3 days. A day later I received a thank you email from Johnny Cerini. This is the second time I brought my coffee machine to Cerini. I live in New Jersey and although my trip is on the average about 2 hours I enjoy the service and professionalism Johnny and his team always provides. Johnny is always available to discuss the problem and troubleshoot over the phone for possible solutions to avoid the lengthy drive, but always upfront with the actual repair process and timing. Highly recommend for anyone who needs real professional help!

I recently sent my 15 yr old X1 espresso machine in for repair. The machine was hardly working when I sent it in and had not been used in over a year. I did my best to box it up, using plenty of packing to keep it safe. I received a phone call about a week and a half after sending it in to Cerini to let me know what was needed. An estimate was sent shortly after the call, which I gave the ok to move forward with the repairs. A few days later the machine arrived at my door. I would have been completely content with the machine returned in the box I sent it in. Cerini obviously was not of the same mind set. The machine was double boxed in two very sturdy boxes, and packed with detail. Once I got through the boxes and packing material, the actual machine itself was wrapped in shrink wrap, the portafilter was in a separate bubble pak envelope, and there was a complimentary lb of coffee in the box, ground for the machine. The machine was repaired and tuned to the same level of detail as it was packed and shipped. What a class act all around!! Thank you Cerini coffee, I had my first home brewed espresso this morning and it was fantastic!

This is a wonderful store in a great neighborhood, you must visit! I have an Olympia Espresso Machine that I splurged on in the 1980s that has been with me all this time. I recently had it repaired and serviced at this wonderful family run shop and business and it works like new. The service was thorough and friendly. Great little place in the heart of Arthur Ave where anyone can get an all around flavor of Italy. One of their specialties is imported espresso coffee and boy am I glad. I cant function well unless I have a good cup or 3 of Espresso during the day . I am there every month sometimes just to look around for new Items they might have just imported from Italy . Great place to go during the Holidays to find that rare gifts like at Easter or Christmas. Its Owner operated, theyre very pleasant to deal with.As you walk in you will get a warm greeting and if you respond back in Italian they will engage you the same way.Store may not be for everyone but if ever you are in the area and want a new experience do stop in and just browse for a few minutes you will be glad you did. I only ordered 4 oz. illy espresso cups, but they were so affordable and came all the way to San Diego just in time for our party. The service and follow-up on our tiny order was fabulous! I will definitely order again! There arent enough stars! Thank you, Cerini!!!
Classic Italian product store. They have all kind of food and household products and they are located int he heart of Arthur avenues Little Italy. They have the largest display of night quality espresso machines to choose from. They also sell hight quality packaged coffee and they also grind fresh coffee for you too! A great display. They also repair espresso machines! This is a rare service to find . They repaired my machine. It took a while for they to fix it because of high volume but they did fix it for 150 dollars.

I Have been ordering Espresso from Cerini website for many years never a problem always fast shipping. I live outside of NYC. So I Decided to stop in their Retail location and purchase the Essse S-12 espresso machine. WOW!!! What a great machine!!! Perfect short or long espresso every time and at the right temperature! Purchased the Infinito taste capsules in Red package and what flavor and aroma!!! Can’t believe you get a machine like this Made in Italy for ONLY $99.99!!! What made the purchase even sweeter were the people at Cerini. Extremely nice and professional!! Cerini store is like a Candy store for Espresso freaks like me! I just needed a new gasket for my stove top espresso maker. The website was easy to navigate, the ordering process worked well, the prices were better than Amazon, and the shipping price was reasonable (there were plenty of options). Ordered a replace grinder motor online for Saeco espresso machine on November 29th, 2019. Their website indicated the motor was in stock. Today is January 11, 2020 and the motor has still not arrived. I’ve called twice and emailed once. No one gets back to you and motor has still not arrived. Poor customer service.

I needed to replace the pump in my mid-2000s Saeco Odea Giro Plus. Cerini had the exact part I needed. I was able to order through Amazon and shipping was free with Prime (for this particular part). Excellent customer service and prompt shipment of parts. Johnny immediately answered my email inquiries and was spot on with advice on repair. Turns out our Gaggia Titanium did not need a new sensor, just a new magnet to correct a water level error. Johnny allowed us to return the part we didnt need. We are located in Florida, but for future coffee needs well go no where else!

Ive taken quite a drive from Brooklyn to get to Cerini to get my Gaccia Classic fixed based on the good reviews. A great experience, super friendly team and the professional repair/decalcification was well worth the wait (they are popular). If you enter the store it really feels like a short vacation to Italy! Ordered a new pump and valve for my Gaggia Classic. After 8 days with no word from Cerini, I emailed. He said he had the pump but didnt know what the valve was. That means that he saw an order come in, didnt have the parts or even understand what they were and then just sat on the order without notifying the customer. Bear in mind that this was a part that was listed on the website.He asked that I send a picture of the part. I sent both a picture and the parts diagram from the Gaggia manual. Again, this is a part he claims to sell on his website. I also asked that if he didnt have the valve to just send the pump and refund me for the valve.Four days pass with no word. I email again. He claims to have not seen the previous email. He says he will take care of it.Three more days pass, no word. I email again. Finally he agrees to refund the valve and send the pump. I ordered the pump and valve on 10/9 and received only the pump on 10/26. Had I not pestered him constantly, Im fairly certain he would have never sent anything.Terrible customer service experience. I will never purchase another item from Cerini.
In the two weeks since I placed my order, nothing has happened. I ordered an item that was IN STOCK ... but it hasnt even shipped yet, let alone arrived. The order status just shows as unfulfilled. Cerini hasnt contacted me, theyve just left me hanging. Ive written to tell them to refund my money and cancel the order -- but they havent responded to that message, either.Nice going, guys.
What a great business this place is. Family owned and operated they have everything an espresso lover needs. Coffee beans, pots and machines. Took my 8 yr old espresso machine there for a tune up and it came back working brand new. Great customer service too.

I dropped off a 40-year-old Olympia Maxi-matic which was in a sad shape of disrepair after years of neglect, and Johny Cerini and his crew have brought it back to life for me! They replaced all the necessary gaskets, valves, a pump and everything else that wasnt working, and the machine is now capable of brewing a perfect cup of latte! Very happy with the service!

Cerini cares for all your coffee needs and more!Walking into here is basically a mini Italian home goods with all the good coffee finds and gifts for weddings and all kinds of things. They take care of your bomboniere needs and have a huge assortment of coffee available. Loose beans and packaged coffee of all kinds.If you think you know coffee and coffee machines you really dont. You might have your little moka pot and nespresso machine (this is basically coffee for dummies lol - its what I have). After walking into the coffee machine heaven I realized how much I dont know of anything. They have industrial type (for the home) coffee machines that will make you the most perfect, creamy, espresso. They also repair the machines and sell all their replacements (for the most part.) Giovanna was very helpful in helping us find a brand new rubber for a friends older manual coffee machine. She was hilarious and so kind! This place is loaded with Italians and I felt right at home.Im definitely going to be coming back here for when Im ready to get my profesh coffee machine and I cant wait!They dont sell coffee by the cup but Im sure if you ask one of the owners they will hook it up. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was looking for a part to repair a Farberware Percolator coffee pot for my wonderful Super Senior mother-in-law. Since 1944 Farberware used to manufacture in guess where? The Bronx! However, the company has since undergone numerous name changes. Meyer Corporation acquired the Farberware license in 1997. The present day coffee pots are made in China and can be discerned by the 3 prong IEC-320 C-14 receptacle vs the old 2 round pin 1/2 spaced type. I was skeptical at first that a specialty coffee shop would have the part I needed but Johnny is the man!! I ordered two spare parts and they were in my hands within 2 days. Moms really happy and enjoying her coffee once again. Thank you, Thank you. I cannot wait to venture out in the future once this pandemic is under control and stop in to Cerini Coffee & Gifts. Truly appreciated personal attention from Johnny & Alex who kindly expedited the repair & service of my 14-year-old Rancilio Silvia which is now better-than-new. Well worth a trip to Arthur Avenue. The whole staff at Cerini will delight you with old-world excellent service and its also a fun place to browse.
I work in Africa but was in the U.S. for the Christmas holidays. On Dec. 27, 2017, I placed an order with Cerinis for a years supply of cleaning solution for our coffee machine, an item not available where we live. I included a note that if the item could not ship before Dec. 31, 2017, I needed to know so that I could make other arrangements. Cerini charged my PayPal account immediately but never shipped the item and never contacted me about it. I had to leave the U.S. on Jan. 11 without the essential cleaning solution. After returning overseas, I phoned Cerini via Skype. He apologized and refunded the money, but he offered no explanation. He said he had just now seen my order. Oh, well. I cant recommend their mail-order department. They may be a great walk-in shop if you live near the Bronx, but their order department must be understaffed or is inattentive.
I spent some time looking for some small but essential parts for my favourite little old coffee maker and eventually found what I needed at the Cerini website. They sent the parts literally to the opposite side of the planet (south west corner of Australia) promptly and efficiently. When I am next in the neighbourhood I will drop by to say Gday. Thank you.

Cerinis is the place to go for anything Italian. It is one of the few locations in the New England area to have your Saeco coffee/espresso machine repaired. John is efficient, knowledge, helpful, and serious about his familys business. He even walked me through correcting a problem with our machine (13years old BTW) over the phone which was great since we live in Rhode Island now. My husband called Saeco direct and they were unable to tell him what needed to be done. John helped me in about 10 seconds!
Wow..just move to Phoenix 4 years ago from Italy, and everyday I miss the smell of the fresh laundry and the good cookies from Mulino Bianco that I was use to it every morning. Funded cirini coffe online and I made an order online, they shipped right the way to phx from NY took a while before I got it but everything was in great condition. Ive ordered an espresso machine, parts, and beans from Johnny Cerini, shipped from the Bronx to Tucson Ive found him to be prompt, communicative and extremely honest. Cerini Coffee and Gifts has earned my highest recommendation.
I had a problem (leak) with our Gaggia Accademia Coffee machine. I stumbled onto the Cerini Coffee website and made a call to the store for help. Ive never been more impressed with the depth of knowledge of the Gaggia product line and the level of customer service that I received from Johnny Cerini. I do not know why anyone would go anywhere else! I am now a life-long customer.
Great little coffee and gifts in the Italian section of the Bronx. Lots of authentic italian good for the kitchen sold here...top quality from Italy. I got the cheese grater and shredder great price and quality.

Visited here to bring real coffee to friends in Florida. You can select all flavors and blends from their many barrels of beans. Also a good place to pick up authentic Nutella straight from Italy.
People are nice, great selection, gotta go back and try the chocolate flavored coffee beans.

My Gaggia Titanium wasnt frothing correctly----Johnny diagnosed and fixed in 30 seconds (wasnt actually broken)----I spent hours trying to figure it out via the internet to no avail. My lattes are not back to being awesome especially using the coffee I purchased at Cerini.
I sent my Gaggia Titanium to them when it burned out the main board and was otherwise acting weird. Johnny diagnosed it quickly, and made an affordable professional repair. It arrive packed like a new item, and has worked well ever since. I trust them and would use them again.
I am a future bride and I got both my wedding invitations and favors there. Giovanna made the whole experience so easy. The invitations were gorgeous and the favors were wrapped beautifully. I would recommend Cerini for any occasion.
I ordered a pump to repair my espresso machine. Ordering process was easy, the part arrived a few day later and machine now works like a new!
The best place to find coffee beans from Italy, grounded to the perfection for the expresso machine that we got from that store too. If you need something really italian, really special from Italy, that is the place where we can find. Chocolate, biscotti, dried porcini mushrooms, gnocchi, special ingredients to make Italian cookies, pastries and everything is part of italian tradition.I high raccomand that store.

2 poor experiences with this company.Ordered a teflon tube on Aug 31, 2016 and paid through paypal. After a month of not hearing from anyone or getting an email confirming shipping I called in. Order had not even been sourced yet. Eventually ended up shipping on the 8th of October.January 23rd, 2018 call in for more parts. Parts fellow is busy and I am directed to call back (repeat this sequence several times through the afternoon) without being able to connect with them. They take my number and I am assured that someone will get back to me. January 30th I receive a text message asking me if I still need help with ordering parts. We exchange text messages to detail the parts I need and am told they will get back to me in the morning. No response in the morning and no response from reaching out to them on Feb 5th and again on Feb 14th.
Excellent customer service! My package was damaged by FedEx and Cerinis took care of it right away. The coffee is amazing and the customer service matches! Grazie molto!
I placed an order 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I emailed a week ago and was told they would get back with me the following day and they did not. I called a couple days ago and was told the same thing, still nothing. I don’t know if I will ever receive my order. I’m not sure what is going on there follow through is lousy. I would not order from them again.

My office was running low on coffee, gasp! I placed an order online after 5PM on Friday and it arrived 10AM Monday morning! Gotta hand it to Cerinis, the order was packed well and at my door in time for my morning fix. Couldnt ask for better service.

I just want to say that they did a perfect job with my repair and were totally thorough in resolving any issues that needed attention. Also when I inadvertently did something to my machine, Johnny walked me through the self repair which saved me a lot of time and finance.

So, Cerini coffee --ma dai, lasciamo i scherzi, ok? what more can you ask for? Frankly, nothing! we found KIMBO on their web site for a reasonable price whereas lately some places ask almost as much for KIMBO as they would for Illy, or a wheel of grana padano, or--a sack of gold (though it IS worth it mind you!!!) And Gran Caffe Vuotto was sold out--so now we are also customers of Cerini and if they have ritornelli cookies well so much the better. Sound the trompeta and the violinu and the mandolinu and anything else that will make a joyful noise for CERINI COFFEE YEYAHAHHAHAHHAH
Abysmal customer service. They do not reply to emails, when you call they blow you off by acting too busy to talk to you and telling you it could come in any day. I have been waiting for over a month for a part and have no idea of the status. Do not buy from this den of thieves.

2022-07-20Just received my order of three “tenekedes” as we call them in Greece of 3L Greek olive oil and it’s the first time in a long time that I have been impressed with how everything was packed. It’s become the new norm to open a box and see your items just tossed in there so this was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. I am very excited that I found Cerini Coffee & Gifts so I can always get my oil delivered safely and in a timely manner all the way to Valley of the Sun in AZ. Will definitely be back to order again! I could not be happier with the help, customer service and parts they have offered me. These people have been fantastic.

2021-04-24I love their collection of coffee!!! And also very knowledgeable customer service. If you want to try different kinds of coffee, this is your place! We also got sardines and spreads (green olive spread, artichoke spread), also mackerel fillets, mushrooms in a jar, berries in extra dark chocolate and Kimbo coffee. I was going to buy coffee beans and a small coffee grinder, but the lady behind the counter said the small coffee grinder doesn’t grind the beans evenly and her machine behind the counter is much better. So, next time when I get a bag of beans I’ll definitely have them grind there. The highlight for me were the two cats Dolce and Zuccero. Both were just so friendly and loved the chin scratches:-)

2022-05-20The Cerinis - and Im referring to the family behind this long standing business (40+ years), are experts in coffee. I stumbled in a few years ago as I was on Arthur Avenue and just in one conversation with Marco felt like I finally understood my own coffee preferences/palette. Years later, I purchased a machine for my new place and I feel like a pro myself. What people dont realize is that some of the coffee they sell trumps the prices you see elsewhere, even MAJOR retailers. Small business wins! As someone whos only half italian, I leave there feeling like full italian. 🤣

2022-06-30Authentic italian food in New York! Contrary to many italian delis in Manhattan, this shop has legit italian food at a fair price. Huge selection of coffee and food including Rummo whole wheat pasta that cannot be found elsewhere. Giovanna and the staff are amazing, they even call me because one product was missing and the order was shipped on the same day. Highly recommended! Grazie Cerini family, I will order again soon!
