I hired Ralph to paint a few rooms in the interior of my home in Merrick and to refinish my garage floor. Ralph and his crew were professional from start to finish. Communication was great and my home was left clean and neat after each work day. The price I paid was reasonable for the quality of work performed and I am happy with the job.For the record, @peter kerns no one paid me to write this review, I am happy to write it to support a hard working company who did the job they were supposed to do.
Certapro was exceptional when it comes to punctuality.I painted the entire interior of my house, choosing the paint color was effortlessly with Certapro color consultant (Cindy). The one mishap I encounter was taken care of immediately, thank you Ralph. Excellent customer, and l appreciate your patients with some minor demands. Thank guys.
This is my second timing using Certa Pro but my 1st time with Ralph and his team. They were on time and extremely professional. Also cleaned up daily after they were done working for the day. The interior painting of my den was awesome. Completely transformed the room into a new area of my home. Id definitely recommend Ralph and would use him and his team again on future projects.
Ralph and the guys were great. Always showed up on time, cleaned up well, there were a couple of spots that could have been a little better in clean up but not enough to remove a star. Especially when I ever had an issue Ralph was quick to get back to me. If it wasnt that day it was the next day. The guys were polite and I felt comfortable with them in my home. They sprayed our Florida room/sun room to repaint the whole thing and it was done SO fast. The only thing Id say is have your paint colors in mind as Ralph can help narrow your choices down but didnt necessarily like giving one based off you saying I want a blue. And I dont blame him. He did end up suggesting a white to us and it was one I was familiar with and I agreed, and it was perfect. The finished product looks great and we are very happy. Got a buyer before even listing. Just wish we could have done this sooner to enjoy it ourselves longer. I was going to send them to my parents but they are in Queens and out of the service area. So I do recommend them!
My wife and I recently moved to Merrick and we hired Certa Pro to complete cabinet painting Ralph was very professional he worked within our budget and did an amazing job repainting and interior painting to be done. We were very pleased. He was always available and answered all our questions and concerns. Would highly recommend.
The finished product looks great and the painters were very professional and nice. They tackled a lot in a short amount of time. The only negative is that I wish they covered the floors and fixtures a bit better. The paint comes off easily with a bit of water and abrasion, but scratching little dots of paint off of my faucets and floors is more time consuming than I would have liked. Overall, I would recommend!!
Ralph and his team were extremely professional and got the job done well. One thing I really appreciated was the level of care and attention to detail with respect to both my home (taping and lining up everything) as well as my neighbors whose houses are very close to mine. Great people. Thanks.
I cannot express how happy we are with the work that Ralph Schwartz and CertaPro did at my home. The work that the team did was absolutely fantastic. They arrived every day by 8AM as scheduled. Their work was astounding. The staff that did the work were professional, made sure the work was clean and neat ( as much as could be under the circumstances) and done on time.We received a call every night to ask how the work was proceeding.I will recommend CertaPro Painters each and every time anyone needs to have work done in their home.You will not be disappointed with the quality of Ralph and his teams work!
Ralph was quite proactive in his communication with us, the painting crew, Eric and Irving, were also professional, worked very quickly but also very neatly, and got the job done in less time than we expected.
Ralph was the best. To take his time to explain every type of way that he is going to fix the problem.. our two front doors were fading from the sun . So far its been great.. And the gentleman that actually did the painting where great also on time and clean..
My husband and I was so happy with how professional , clean and beautiful the painting job turned out . Domain and the crew took their time to make sure everything looked perfect , also they were so nice and respectful too . You can tell they have pride with the work they do . Securing Certapro Painters of Merrick was one of the best buying decisions Ive made in a very long time.Accustomed to doing most household maintenance on my own, I was in new territory relying on an outsider to provide me the level of quality I demand.From my first contact with my sales representative, Damien, I got a sense that I was working with a reputable company.Further along, my confidence built when I worked with the owner, Ralph, and his administrative assistant, Basia.They far exceeded my expectations for service, reliability and quality of work.Honestly speaking, If I would have decided to paint the exterior cedar shakes of my home on my own, the end result would have not been nearly as good. CertaPro painters painted my living room, two closets and half the hallway in my house. And did a great job. CertaPro painters also fixed a big hole in my living room wall. CertaPro painters clean up during and after the paint job is the best. Very friendly and CertaPro painters are great on detail planning of getting the job done right. The overall experience with CertaPro was great: from the initial estimation process with Ralph, ongoing communication with his office manager Basia and the actual painting team led by Julio. This was an exterior painting of my house and the weather did not cooperate initially, but the team kept us informed as to what their intentions were. Both sides were flexible. Finally, Mother Nature came through and the project was completed before the end of May – our initial deadline. The painting team was polite, punctual, neat and did a really good job. The house looks clean and refreshed. We are very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them.

Ralph has an A-1 crew .arrived on time.put tarps and plastic over everything. As I watched them work I was impressed. They did not rush and if they werent satisfied with the area they worked at they did it again.no questionsTheir cleanup was also amazing .couldnt have asked for a better professional job. CertaPro in Merrick/Bellmore did a fantastic job painting my house. In addition they power washed, patched my stucco and replaced rotted wood around my garage door frame. Working with Ralph and Julio and his crew was a pleasure. I received many compliments on my house.
2 years ago my wife and I fell in love with a house that had original wood shiplap siding, we purchased the house knowng someday it would have to be painted and preserved. This spring we decided to look into a painter that would be able to keep the rustic look, and a fresh coat of paint... easier said than done when the main focus of the house is that classicness of original wood. We called CertoPro on a blind call just to get an idea of what we’d be in for, and met with Ralph our local CertaPro painter/owner. We hadn’t planned on jumping right in with the first estimate, but Ralph really seemed to understand what we wanted, and exactly how to achieve that classic look. No price was discussed until, he gave us all the information, colors and options, never once being pushy... he came across as genuine and sincerely interested in our desire to bring this old house back to life. After we sat down, we were eager to hear what, this all would cost us, and to our surprise Ralph was very close to our budget, even including resealing/caulking gaps, seams and areas needing attention. We were ecstatic that our very specific needs could be met at such a fair price. Needless to say we went ahead and hired Ralph to do the job and he did not fail in his task... the painters were clean, neat and professional, which also translated to the finished product. Attention to detail was every bit as perfect as we could hope for and Ralph ensured us that he would follow up in a few days to see how we liked the the finished job after drying. As promised Ralph called in a few days to check in and make sure we were pleased with the work... this review may seem detailed and lengthy, but I felt it necessary to credit where credit is due, especially in today’s world of fly by night contractors... Ralph and his crew at CertaPro are straight professionals and I would/will highly recommend them to anyone looking to repaint.

All these good reviews are fake made up reviews. Certa pro probably pays people to write great reviews. Certa pro is insane with their prices. I got quoted 5,000 dollars to paint my living room, dining room, bathroom and one bedroom. And my house is only 957 square feet. I got another painting company to do the job for 1,800 bucks. They did a perfect job. Go on Google and type in certa pro complaints. You will see numerous complaints. Certa pro is a garbage company.

Very happy with CertaPro. Showed up when promised and finished when promised. Needed wallpaper removed and painting done in 3 rooms and all work was done to our complete satisfaction. Always cleaned up before leaving, too.

2022-07-22The painters were skilled at their job BUT they did not protect my property from being painted on. There is paint on the plants (which was was explained to me that there would be some damage), paint on furniture, glass windows, mail box and hose nozzle. I explained to Chris my displeasure. While he was most energetic about us signing off on completing the job, there was no follow up on our complaints. One of the worst feelings when having work done on your home is not feeling like its complete.

They took care to protect the floors and other areas that were not being painted. The clean up was perfect. 2022-07-13I had a great experience with Certapro. Chris the project manager was very attentive and listened to my concerns patiently. He would always respond if I had questions. They did an excellent job painting my living room, upstairs tv room & son’s bedroom. They used Benjamin Moore paint. I would highly recommend this company to paint your home . It was a little costly, but well worth it. You get what you pay for, so it’s good to pay for the best Certapro!

2022-03-31Long post including update:They had to come back and fix sloppy work.Several places were missing paint, an outlet was caved in, etc. I question their professionalism. A whole wall went unpainted despite it being on paper in the proposal.I used 3rd party financing to pay. However, when my work was “completed”, but not to my satisfaction, the owner tried to strong arm me into signing documents authorizing payment. The documents said in more than one place, even in red letters, not to sign unless work was completed to my satisfaction.The owner further tried to tell me I didn’t need to read the contract, and that it meant something other than what it said. What?At one point, they tell me they did more work than was agreed upon and asked me to pay for it after the fact; they made no attempts to contact me before unilaterally doing the additional work.They still never attempted to fully clean, leaving me with lots of paint dust and stains to clean up everywhere. Furniture, floors, bathroom wall tiles, etc had paint and/or plaster stains on them. Everything had sanding dust, including furniture and all the dishes on the counter.Between their 2nd day at my house and the day after I released the loan documents, my mail was nowhere to be found. It never arrived.I have informed delivery from USPS which shows me photos daily of every envelope to be delivered.Among things I never received in the mail are a check, a paystub, and other financial documents.Update: paint is peeling and cracking after a year.

2021-11-06Ralph came and gave me a detailed proposal with pics of each area and addressed all of my concerns. His teams foreman was informative and kept up to date on all details of the day and plan for tomorrow. The team was prompt, professional, friendly and did great work. I had rotted fascia and missing molding that THEY repaired taking a huge headache off my plate.I highly recommend Ralph and his team and would use them again in a heartbeat if given the chance!!!

2021-10-18Had 3 rooms painted, including ceilings, trim, doors, etc. Beautiful work. The crew arrived when expected and finished the job as scheduled. Ralph was responsive to any and all questions or concerns we had. I would (and have) recommend this business without reservation and will not hesitate to use them again.
