My younger brother currently attends at this facility and I would like to say that the environment is great with a good open space and the staff are always encouraging trying to help children succeed in their forms as well as develop strong disciplinary skills. The staff is also very flexible with attendance as well as understanding if your child is unable to attend a class and can easily make up the class. I love this particular Ultimate Champions Taekwondo and hopefully the newer members can help support this facility.
My son loved the class and teacher from the very first trial class! The teachers make it so much fun for the kids. Master Park is phenomenal. Master Oh and Master Kim are amazing. And the trainee instructors and class assistants are the most helpful and polite group of girls Ive ever encountered. I can not say enough great things about Ultimate Champions Taekwondo!!!
Great taekwondo for kids and young adults, very lively and energetic group. I like way students are thought about respect, self confidence and community building.I attend the adult kickboxing classes which are a great workout and teaches intro level technical fighting skills. You will sweat and be sore your first few weeks but it’s worth it!

My daughter wanted to join Taekwondo classes for months. We went to check out Ultimate Champions Taekwondo and she insisted in joining that day. She loves it, and raves about Taekwondo to everyone. Since joining, my daughter is listening more and is more confident. Master Park and staff are very nice and helpful. It’s a great place!!!
I joined the kickboxing classes 4 months ago and it has been the best workout I have ever gotten! My first day, all the women were very welcoming and continue to encourage and support each other every week. Master Shannon Park is an awesome instructor who creates new routines each week and keeps us motivated to push ourselves to work that much harder. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone who is looking for a challenge!
My son Lukas Yan has been taking Master Park Taekwondo Classes for the past year . He loves the classes and the friends hes made . The school has fantastic teachers and assistant along with Master Park . They really do a great job with the kids. We recommend this school very much for kids who want to learn about the art of self defense , friendship and dicipline.
Master Park and her staff are fantastic!! Coming to TKD classes are the only thing my kids look forward to every week. They not only teach the kids taekwondo, but also respect and discipline, which I definitely saw the changes in the kids. Keep up the good work!

This is the best taekwondo in the world!!! They have all sorts of fun activities and games. The masters and staff make class fun and other stuff. Anyways if you join you can get a one month free buddy pass👍.
My son has been going to Taekwando for more than 2 years, he started when he was 3. He has been building up higher interests in Forms and kicking techniques since he join BBC. Learning Taekwando helps him build up self confidence, discipline, focusing and social skills. Master Park and staffs are very friendly, supportive and provide close attention to each and every student. The environment and atmosphere is warm and welcoming, specially to younger students easily adopt and blend in with the culture. I found this awesome deal from Groupon and my daughter is starting to like Tae Kwon Do after taking three classes. Ive already seen some improvement on her of not getting too shy now. The classes are full of fun and energetic. Master Park and all her staffs are very nice and patient to all students. I see the kids are really enjoying it. Even myself have joined their kickboxing class. Its AMAZING!

Our three year old started classes almost 3 months ago and has asked almost every day to go to class. She has already been to competition and has learned to be more of a team player, follow directions and respect friends and adults. I highly recommend this program! The staff are caring, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and fantastic with the children.
It was the best decision ever to put both my kids into Champions Taekwondo! My little one is in Little Tiger and my older one is in Black Belt Club and in Staff. It definitely built a lot of confident and leadership. 13th Ave Champion Taekwondo is very family orientated. They always try to include the family in everything!
Master Shannon park is one of the nicest people you can meet. She is very knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher. She Instills discipline, respect and pride in students of all ages. I have seen her with her students and they have a incredible bond. I highly recommend master Shannon park and champions taekwondo for all ages.
My son has been going since 5 years old and hes a black belt now. Absolutely the best place for kids of all ages. Great discipline, confidence, focusing & strength, both physical and mental. Master Joe, Master Yusef, & Master Park and staff are the best!! Not only do they teach with patience and clarity, they also care about your child. They are strict but with a smile Both my girls joined the Tae Kwon Do family bay parkway location and they couldnt be any happier!! They also do free 1 month trial before you decide if its right for your children.
Master Park is a great teacher. Both she and her staff have been very helpful and have a lot of patience with the kids. There are a few martial arts classes near my neighborhood. I am glad I picked this one for my kids to attend.
Ultimate Champions Taekwondo is awesome!! I enrolled my 3 yr old in the Tigers class and he has learned so many new things in just two sessions. What a great way to strengthen muscle tone and work on listening skills.Im excited to continue his strengthening and learning new techniques in the future at Champions!!

Classes arent hectic. Great instructors. My son loves goin to class. Instructors are motivated & helpful to the students. Facility is A+! Since taking the classes my sons behavior has improved & looks forward to attending Taekwondo!

One of the best places to go if you want to learn TaeKwonDo. The master, Master Park, along with the staffs and instructors, all do their best to improve the students, not only with their kicks and punches, but with their attitude and their ways of life. Taekwondo is fun and exciting. You will get stronger here and prevail over challenges that seem impossible at first, but you learn all you need is a strong will. Both my kids has been coming here over a year, they love tkd and come here twice a week. My wife was hesitant at first but wanted some extra activities for them, since there was a groupon deal, she made the decision to come here and see if the boys like it. Not only did they like it, they have made new friends here. They enjoy their lessons.

Champions Tae Kwon do 13th is the absolute best martial arts school, my daughter has attended for the past few years and it has been the best experience for her. I highly recommend this school to anyone. Master park is amazing :-)
My daughter loves coming to Taekwondo at Champions in Dyker Heights. She is 6 years old and just started the Black Belt Club. Master Park and all of the other instructors are so knowledgable, kind and patient. I am so happy that I chose this locations.

Taekwondo is really great friendly and and they teaches me so much. I improved a lot because of taekwondo. Plus I lost a lot of weight and I think the staffs are awesome. And theyre super cool but Im super heavy

The master is amazing at community building. I can see the children are happy coming here as they learned both determination and respect. Their kickboxing for adults is fun and intense, better than three other ones I have been to.
On the first day here I was warmly welcomed and everyone there was nice. During class ,everyone was supportive of each other and they were helping you with every step of the way. Helping class was also fun, the kids are energetic. The events were fun and I got to make more friends there.

I am a Taekwondo student in Ultimate Champion’s Tae Kwon Do since March. Thanks to Master Park, I learned a lot, such as kicking, punching, form, self defense and other great skills. Not only physical, but I also learned respect, discipline, team work and being responsible. Ultimate Champion’s Tae Kwon Do is definitely a great place to learn Tae Kwon Do.

Ultimate Champions teakwondo is an amazing place that is better than what you will think. Its a place where you can train both your mind and body, even tho its an place where you always sweats, need to always work hard and listen to the Master.But it will eventually be worth it. As you get use to the training of teakwondo, you will sweat more and more, believe me, its so true.

I recently joined Kickboxing in 13th avenue. The Master Shannon is a petit women who motivates, encourages and pushes me to the limits.Do you want to come and waist time? Then dont come.Do you want to come and take long breaks? Then dont come.Do you want to come and not learn anything without breaking a sweat ? Then dont come.But if you have a little Demon inside you who wants to rip and kick some aAaz, then this is where you have to come to feed your soul.Exciting, motivating, sweaty ,fun and most of all you learn, you get disinclined. Come and challenge yourself. Highly recommended.

2022-06-07I informed school that my son would be out of country for one month. After that lady on reception told me that my membership would be extended. Despite all of that, they kicked my son out, and explanation was “she only has been working for a month”. No sorry, nor anything.Also, I during very cold weather I came in for a class for my older son with my younger son who is only one year old and who has been always with me wearing no mask. The lady did not measure neither my temperature nor any of the visitors. Yet, she told me to put a mask on my one year old son. I told her that he could not tolerate it and that he does not have to do that at all because he is under two years old, I stated several times about my son’s age and that it is legal for him not to wear a mask. She told me that she could kick me out of property because “she worries about other student’s safety”. It was very cold weather , she did not measure anybodys temperature, and she simply was enjoying her power over a mother with a small child. I asked her to call a manager and she was told over the phone that of course, my son does not have to wear a mask. Again, no apologies, nothing;instead, she lied to my face that she did not know that my son was under two years old! In spite the fact that I told her so several times! Very unprofessional behavior. All they can do is to scream at the kids and they don’t take responsibilities for their actions.

2022-04-26Champions martial arts is great. They have an amazing student to instructor ratio. I feel like my little one whos new is never looking lost. He always has someone attending to him and helping him keep up with the other kids. Theyre extremely nice and respectful to the parents and kids as well. If your in the dyker heights area looking for a martial arts program for your kids, I definitely recommend checking out this place

2021-02-05My two children have been here for 3 years. They LOVE it. Master Shannon is the one of best that knows what she teaches for kids development with martial arts. My children learned not only how to do self-defense but also built confidence and discipline. I have seen lots of changes from my children. They follow up professionally, and lead the classes with passion. Staffs are so friendly and they are my childrens role models! They are so polite and respectful. I am considering to join the kickboxing class for myself. Exciting. I Highly recommend it!!

2018-09-14We love Champions Taekwondo! Master Park is so positive, encouraging, and good with the students. I thought our son was too young to start (he was 4 when we did a trial class), but Master Park assured us he would be fine. He has learned so much about focusing, teamwork, and how to be a good friend (anti-bully!). He has also excelled physically, and really enjoys the exercise. All of the staff make class fun for the kids and, as a parent, I appreciate the positive role models my son has in the older kids. It’s nice to have this program in our neighborhood! They’re always having fun parties and events, too. My son looks forward to Taekwondo every time we go.

2021-01-14One of the best decisions I ever made was enrolling my two boys at Champions Taewkondo on 13th Avenue. Aside from learning taekwondo, they are also learning discipline, self-control and life lessons. We have been with this school for 6+ years (and we we do live closer to other schools but my boys LOVE this school and they made lots of friends here too).Aside from taekwondo classes for kids, the school also offer it for adults who wants to learn. The class is mixed in with the teens and it is a LOT of fun. The teens keeps the adults young (at heart), are extremely encouraging and helpful. Master Park takes time to teach and shows the proper techniques.In addition, Master Park also teaches the LifeFit Kickboxing classes for adults. The classes are offered in the evenings and taking the classes is the best way to forget the troubles of the day (plus its a great workout)!

2019-07-25This place is a great way for children to learn and to gain confidence. The classes teach you ways to defend yourself and provides correct equipment needed to learn taekwondo. My experience through this has been great ever since I started, how staff are friendly and help you when needed to. This is also great since its for all ages to learn so you don’t have to worry if you’re a teen or older. Its never too late to start learning new things. In this place it also provides kick boxing which is great for adults to learn which its a fair schedule since its 4 times a week.
