This is an amazing school. My son and daughter have built great relationships with other disciplined students and, most of all, their masters and instructors. My kids cant wait to attend their Taekwondo classes here. My son is even willing to jog about a mile to the school before attending class. My daughter doesnt mind the ride in her stroller. Lol. Im so proud of what my kids are doing and learning with Champion Taekwondo Sunset Park. Big thanks to Master David! My kids love working with you and your instructors.
My son loves the staff members and master . He looks forward to coming to classes . Students are treated equally and if any issue arises , they talk to each other to resolves their issues in a healthy manner . They also offer “camp” which helps parents out when there’s no school with fun activities :)
We love Ultimate Taekwondo in Sunset Park. Our young son attends twice a week. The classes are well organized and fun. Master David and his staff are excellent instructors. And my son has grown more confident and disciplined in all aspects of his life. The other families and students of taekwondo are great to be around. This is a very positive and vital part of our community. Were lucky to have it!
I’m happy with Champions Martial Arts. Master Lee is very good, he is very patient and kind. My daughter does not like to exercise, but he has found a way to make it fun and engaging for her.
Best place ever. Students can learn martial arts, Korean language, discipline, and determination. I been training here 5 years non-stop and it the best for kids for all ages. I recommend for kid how wnat to defend the people they care about.
Amazing place ! We have nothing but great words and recommendations for all teachers and staff there. my little one loves it and enjoys going to class. They made her feel comfortable since day one. we really appreciate their hard work and dedication . 😊
I signed my 9 year old son up back in October of 2019 and he loves it. Champions TaeKwonDo in Sunset Park Brooklyn has helped my son’s improve his self-esteem, stamina and physical coordination, while instilling discipline through practice.
They teach very good. Very good place to learn Taekwondo. They motivate you a lot, everyone is really nice here.
I would give this place a zero star if i could. i talk to my friends there and literally all of them is like “i don’t like the new master Gene.” Everything has started to change ever since he got there. he just wants money, literally forcing kids into BBC and Staff so that he could just sit there and let the students teach the little kids there. he starts increasing the price for everything ever since he got there. since so much people left the school, i heard that he started handing out advertisements to get more students and earn more money. i really do not recommend this school.
This school is simply amazing! There are excellent conditions for training. The coach is very attentive to all the children of his team and the guys are satisfied. They have evening classes for adults also. The School Сhampions taekwondo sunset park organized at the highest level. Master David Bravo!!!
My 4 year old loves coming here. He has always been very shy and he never wanted to leave my side, after his first class he asks to come everyday with no problem leaving me. I see a big change in my boy, he is more confident, playful, he is getting better at taking turns with other children (which is a challenge for being a single child). I highly recommend anyone who whats to bring something extra into their kids lives.

Facility is huge, Master is Amazing, Instructors are Great, and price is fair. Children learn Discipline, Respect, Confidence and so much more. The best activity you can put your child in.
My brother really likes to come to his Taekwondo class here. The instructors are very responsible and friendly. It is a great place for kids to learn discipline and etiquette.

Their techniques for teaching discipline has been a good effect on me, as a kid. All of the instructors have different personalities, therefor their approach to Tae Kwon Do is unique. We love Champions Taekwondo Sunset Park, My brother has learned discipline and has shown more respect to others and the dojo and has learned a lot about self-defense thanks to Master David and staff who are always attentive with all the children.

This is probably the best place for kids in New York City.I know Master David since childhood,and ive seen him being a hard working professional sportsman,and then becoming a professional trainer.I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Their is a very good master at this school, I learned a lots of different ways of self defense and discipline. It’s a fun and great experience at this school.

It is the right place for your children to learn Taekwondo, discipline and many other things. The Master Lee is an excellent teacher and has the patience and ability to deal with every boy or girl. I recommend it 100%. My son likes him very much, he is very happy.
As a Mother, I am very grateful and thank God for finding this place. Where my daughter feels great, learning new things and movements. Now she is more dynamic coordinates. It is important that it be cleared. Teachers are patient for teaching. I LOVE!!! My goal is great and must be achieved! :) :)
This is really a very good school. I am studying here with my brother and sister. I can learn a lot, the teacher is very good, and I will teach us patiently. I feel very happy to study here, and I can protect myself in the future. This is great!
I am very happy with the classes taught within these facilities. My son is helping a lot to burn calories, stress, coordinate, and later for self defense. I hope to stay here for a good goal. Thank you for the patience you give the children.

2022-05-14My 4 year old loves tae Kwon do here. Master Lee is the real deal! Hes very kind and also has the patience of a saint, and the kids really respect him. My kid has learned so much. This is a great community that has extended beyond just the classes. They do day camps during school holidays, which has allowed my kid to make deeper friendships and connections. I cant recommend enough!

2021-07-19Very fun taekwondo lessons. My 4 year old son love to come here every week. Master Lee is the best! My child is behaving better and better at home. He became more and more confident after each class. Love the diversity and neighborhood, too!

2021-02-10I signed up my 3-year old daughter to improve her confidence and to get her more comfortable with other kids since naturally she is very shy. Master Lee has been very kind and patient with her. My daughter now loves to participate in his classes. Master Lee teaches good morals, discipline and respect to others during his class in a fun and engaging way. Overall great class and a great teacher!

2019-02-15My daughter has been taking classes at this location since August 2018 and we both love the experience. Master David and the staff are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly and responsible. I am very pleased to have my child taking classes in a safe and fun environment as this one. 2022-02-11Master Lee has provided an environment in which my 7 year old son feels respected, confident and comfortable. I would highly recommend Champions Martial Arts @ Sunset Park. The location is clean, easily accessible and adheres to a strict Covid-19 prevention protocol for all entering the facilities.

2018-01-08I cant review this as someone whose child attends the lessons, but we were here for a birthday party and weve seen the instructor at various public events.The people who work here are awesome. They are energetic, fun, helpful, really nice, and very engaging for the kids. Im not sure if the intro lesson at the party was any indication, but theyve done a wonderful job of turning training into a fun experience.If my daughters show the slightest bit of interest in pursuing this, I would come here in a heartbeat.

2019-06-12This is the best place for children to learn martial arts. It is the complete package for education, training, mental and physical development, but most of all inspirational. All the instructors use positive reinforcement, humor, and attention to detail to help every single student succeed. The instructors help the children learn respect, discipline, and how to think for themselves and to realize these crucial steps are needed to succeed at any endeavor. Master Gene has all the patients teaching my son forms. Not sure why the bad reviews. Master Gene is very polite & I have not experienced any type of rudeness. Overall, Champions Martial Arts have the best quality Masters, Instructors, & Staffs.

The training has really help my daughter focus, her,concentration has improved greatly, the self discipline taught has helped built my daughter confidence shes no longer a follower.
