Sounds like they got so many reviews from being really bad in the past but I’ve been consistently ordering for months now and the only thing that’s ever disappointing is their phone sometimes doesn’t work so you have to call again. Besides that their food is good and crab Rangoons are amazing. (Theyve never even messed up one of my roughly 40 orders unlike the other reviews were saying.)

Ive been ordering from this place since 2013 and last spring they sent me an order of general Tso chicken that was so hard, I could not eat it. I was in the process of moving out of my dorm (I was a student at UA) so I called them to let them know and they offered to bring me a new plate, but I told them I was leaving and would just prefer another meal when I returned and so they said that was fine and took down my info. I just called to ask about my free meal and of course, they did not have my information saved and it was no where to be found. This was horrible customer service being that I have been a very loyal customer for the past 4 years.

This place is my go to takeout food. I absolutely love the food and I have been ordering from them for around 5 years now. They deliver right to the floor of my apartment building and the food is extremely cheap and you get so much for your money.

Doesn’t deliver to “poor” areas in Albany even though the delivery being made was less than 7 minuets away.

Forgot my soda, fried wontons, and a spring roll. They also gave me fried rice and shrimp fried rice when ordered two shrimp fried rice. Then the one shrimp fried rice I did get only had one piece of shrimp. Then when called next day because when got food it was closed they wouldnt refund or make order right.

Ive ordered from them for a while, but tonight I received pork dumplings instead of vegetable. Im vegetarian and as soon as I bit into the dumpling I knew it was incorrect. The man I was speaking to on the phone (who insisted he was the manager though he didnt sound older than 25) told me to take a photo for proof and send it to his cell phone. After that I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do but refund my money. The manager explained that Changs Garden do NOT make their own vegetable and pork dumplings, they buy it from somewhere and just boil it, so they had no idea they would get mixed up. Im currently waiting to hear from the driver so I can get my refund.

I ordered some chicken wings and pork fried rice and instead of getting pork fried rice I got fried rice with big chunks of fried chicken in it I have never in my life seen something like this before. It’s utter disrespect that I pay my money for something and I get something totally different that wasn’t even on a menu
