If you’re ever in Geneva do yourself a favor and stop here for a meal. The food is prepared fast and efficiently and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. This place is better than the commercial places of its kind. I enjoyed the food so much and hope I can go back soon.The environment is relaxed and modern and the staff is friendly.

We’ve used Char Burrito a few times to cater lunches for our office. Even after a 40 min drive, the food is still semi warm & tastes amazing! It is priced per person, but you get plenty of food for each person
Char is incredible. I make it a point to bring every person who visits me on campus (HWS) to char because it’s really some of the best food around. It’s a chipotle-style burrito place but chipotle could NEVER replicate the quality of Char, I would choose Char over any other burrito place any day. I always get a bowl and at one point one of the staff would remember me and my order, always made me feel so welcome. Sometimes I consider driving 5 hours to Geneva from my hometown just to eat here when I crave it during breaks.
Ive been dying to go here for a long time and Im so happy I finally did. For the amount of food the prices are very fair. The people working were very friendly! Food was DELICIOUS and the fresh squeeze of lime and garlic sauce sealed the deal. Cant wait to come back!

Far exceeded my expectations. Massive burrito that was delicious. Saved half for tomorrow and I ran 11 miles before I came, so rest assured I was hungry. We got the chips and queso. The real corn chips were also delicious.Staff was very friendly. Glad we checked this place out.
Far better than Chipotle, Period.Stopped by on the way to Watkins Glen. Didn’t expect mind blowing food in small town. But, we were blown away by the refreshing, delicious food. And best thing is the price. It’s pretty much same price as chipotle. The staff is really nice and friendly! Definitely going to be our stop whenever we are passing by from now on!

Char sees me once or twice a week due to the freshness of the food, quick service, happy employees and low prices. If there is one thing Id like to change it would be a potential App for mobile pickup, but not through doordash or other 3rd parties.

When looking for vegan options for dining out, burrito bars are some of the best. I love the large scoops of rice and beans in a burrito! Char Burrito also has a tofu option, which is delicious. My taco-builder was quick to pick up on the fact that I wanted vegan options and attended to my preference by making suggestions and telling me what was in items. My favorite place to eat in Geneva. :)

Seems to be a popular lunch place with the college and counter culture kids.Not very impressed with the staff or food.The few times I was there it seemed like a group of hippies got together after a spring break in Cancun and decided to open a Mexican restaurant in their college town.Parking is difficult during lunch hours.Ive been wrong before, its just the impression that I get.
My friends have always told me how good this place is and they were most certainly not wrong. The food tastes great and coming from a Mexican, I ate one of their burritos and that has to be one of the best damn burritos I’ve ever had. I’d give this place a 6 star rating if I could. Amazing food, great customer service, very affordable prices and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It’s a place to have 3 of your closests friends sit down and eat lunch with. Honesty would go here everyday.

Visiting Geneva for the weekend with my wife and she found this place. Burritos were great! Menu was short and simple. Ingredients were high quality. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. Id highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious lunch stop when visiting the area.
One of the few places in Geneva that doesnt feel like a rip off. I typically get a chicken or tofu bowl and Im consistently satisfied with the food quality/quantity and service. Friendly staff. Not terribly different than a Chipotle, but perhaps a slightly better ambiance. Also, I assume that theyre locally owned which is always preferred, in my opinion.
Pretty much the most amazing place to get tacos in this area. Hands down, no question. A-m-a-z-i-n-g!! Id post pictures but I was so excited to eat it, I forgot. THATS how awesome this place is. If youre ever in Geneva, this is a must-stop.
Awesome to have this in town as a lunch option. Fast, fresh, ample portions, nicely priced. Char plays it a little safe to be really “authentic”, for y’all purists, but for those looking for a hearty, quick lunch, you won’t be disappointed.
This is definitely a cool little place in the heart of downtown Geneva. It is clean, modern, and accommodating. It is like a local version of Chipotle, with quality ingredients and you can always rest assured that your food will be fresh. They have a very good selection, including vegan and vegetarian options. The portions are very generous. You will not be concerned that you are not getting your dollars worth here.

Food was excellent and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. It was a bit hard to hear the staff while they were making my burrito. There is also very limited outdoor seating.
Every trip I make to Geneva is planned around Char Burritos hours. Not only are their burritos a quick and easy lunch on the go, but they are also fantastic. Think Chipotle, but better.

Good burrito place, typical of others these days, go down the line and they fill it as you tell them what to put in it. Its a little different in that they have tofu as an option to the standard meats. Prices are reasonable, but they try to get you by asking if you want to add guacamole at the end and after you say yes they tell you it will be an extra $1.75 for about a heaping tablespoon so beware. Otherwise cool place with good food and outdoor seating. I would recommend it for a quick and inexpensive meal.
Great place for lunch in Geneva, fresh ingredients and fast service at a nice price. I wish they pushed a little harder to set themselves apart from chipotle, only thing I noticed different were the sauce options. All in all it’s worth a stop!

Friendly, helpful staff Made me up an excellent burrito!! Looking forward to my next pass through town to sample more of the CBB menu. I recommend this place for other lovers of Tex-Mex style eats. Prices are comparable to similarly themed eateries. For the $8 I spent, I got a heavy burrito that filled me up and kept me that way for hours. Will absolutely return!!
Yummy!! Fresh hand made and prepared ingredients. Burrito is hand made in front of you to order, while you watch them through glass. Theyre never open when Im in town.

Seems like every time I try to go they are closed. Today is July 3rd and they are closed for the holiday. This has happened before, the owners seems to enjoy closing for multiple days around every holiday. The burritos have been good, the chips are not good from what I remember. Call ahead or go someplace else.

Best way to describe it is that its like Chipotle but 10 times better. I got a beef and rice bowl for a lunch meal and I didnt eat anything else for the rest of the day because it filled me up that much, so the portions are pretty hefty. It can get pricey if you load your bowl up like I did. I paid $11 and some change for my bowl. But I suppose with the amount of food I got it was a compromisable trade off.
Loved my pork salad with fresh cilantro! Guac is also super tasty! (This is a non chain version of Chipotle - similar price and atmosphere.) Definitely recommend.
Not a real Mexican style burrito place. They have their own type of rice and beans instead of traditional ingredients. Couldnt hear the server past the 7 foot bullet proof server glass. Burrito was fine in flavor but not if you are looking for a traditional Mexican place.
Basically a local version of moes or chipotle, only better. All the meats are good, especially the chicken, and I love having the option to put fresh lime juice on. Pricing is average for the style of restaurant. Will run about $11 for food and a drink (non refillable).

Little Gem in the Finger Lakes. Its like having a local Chipotle restaurant. Walk in the build your dish, bowl, wrap right in front of you while behind the servers you can see the cooks prepping as well as cooking the food right in front of you seeing how clean the kitchen is giving you that since of piece knowing how your food is being handled before during the process. Staff is extremely friendly always smiling even when the line is out the door. Great little spot!
Okay so this one is pretty lit. This is chipotle for Geneva. Honestly love going down and getting a burrito bowl from this place. The prices are great it looks fairly close to a chipotle and Ive never had a complaint about anything. Except maybe that they arent open on mondays!
I give this place five stars for quality and freshness of food. It would be perfect if you get half orders at half price... its just too much food for me and a salad with all those ingredients is not good for leftovers.....

This place by far has the best burritos around and very very great prices! Anytime Im eating around Geneva, this is the spot to eat. If anyone hasnt eaten here defiantly give this place a try! Staff is great and friendly as well.
Outstanding! Fresh. I got the pulled pork, pinto beans, rice, lettuce, pico, fresh jalapenos, lime juice, their bbq on whole wheat tortilla. Chips and salsa verde, bottled water all for under $10. I will be back to try all their offerings!! Great job!!
I love this place. It never disappoints they be hooking my burrito up! They always have a hard time wrapping it cause I fill that thing up good but they always manage to wrap it. Highly recommend this place.
SmallGrid is 99% powered by Char Burritos. Their slow cooked beef is amazing, queso and salsa fantastic and we have been tempted to eat their garlic sauce by itself. We go there at least 3 times a week and it does not get old. Seriously, so good.

What a great find on our recent vacation to the Finger Lakes. Huge portions. The burritos are large enough for two people to easily split.
Awful service. Hidden charges. No cups for water. Impolite, low service, even when the restaurant was empty. Never in my life have I had to pay extra for queso which clearly came out of a can. Avoid their overpriced, runny, spoiled burritos at all costs.

2022-07-13Geneva is so lucky to have an amazing, quality restaurant like Char Burrito Bar, right here in our town! Food is delicious, fresh, healthy, filling, even fun! Gives a great option for lunch to go, or dine- in at one of their tables that has big windows looking out toward the heart of Geneva downtown. Many protein options available, even vegetarian options too! I tried the tofu last time and it was great, but I also love the chicken and pork too! If you are looking for something delicious for lunch, or dinner, that is filling, healthy and wont break the bank, Char is for you! Check them out!!!

2022-07-31I’ve been here twice now and both times I’ve gotten the chicken burrito. You have to get the queso, it’s very good! The only negative I’d say is the chicken has been a bit too blackened for my liking, definitely takes away from the flavor of the burrito. Other than that I’d highly recommend! I’ll be back.

2022-04-15I’ve eaten here so many times and it’s consistently fantastic. The service? Great. The food? Delicious. The chipotle-lime barbecue sauce? Life-changing.And they don’t judge you when you ask them to put every sauce on your burrito. I can never go back to Chipotle.

2022-06-09I was just at Char Burrito for lunch today and let me just say how delicious it is... As soon as I opened the door the amazing smells made me even more hungry then I already was. Friendly staff, no loud music or noise, and the incredible delicious food.... I had the bowl of rice, beans, chicken, Pico de Gallo, queso and onions and peppers. Definitely worth the trip here.Highly recommend this place.

2019-05-28People are friendly and efficient. The food has the right amount of spice to give it just a little something. You can up it with salsa if you like. Very affordable and really good. Little dark back near ordering but the front it lite up by the use of natural lighting.

2022-03-30This is a local place my boyfriend and I go to often. I was sad to hear from my boyfriend when he went to go pick up food for the both of us that it wasn’t as great as always. There were a few rude customers waiting in like while he was getting our food and completely avoided personal boundaries when trying to order the food by practically laying their arm on top of his to point to something while they were ordering ect. Besides the frustration of the customers we both came home to both our meals being made incorrectly. Im not sure if they were distracted by the customers in line after my boyfriend but that shouldn’t come at the cost of BOTH our food being wrong especially having to repeat what is in the order step by step multiple times.
