I have only been here two years and this has been a wonderful experience when it comes to the teaches to the students. All your teachers are supportive and encouraging even if your problem is not related to school the teachers would still try to hlp you. I especially enjoyd having my both math teachers, science teacher, and lastly my social studies teacher. I have been to other Yonkers Public Schools and there s no school like CHARTER SCHOOL OF EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE!!!! ❤❤
This school is the best school ever i love all of my teachers especially my 7th grade Math and English teacher, my old technology teachers and my 8th grade Science, Math, and English teachers. This school is such an advanced school it has an advanced Science class ( Living Environments) and an advanced Math class (Algebra 1). So when youre in 8th grade you are already taking 2 regents and most of us students pass those regents meaning that we dont have to take these classes in high school and that we will be more advanced than the other high scholars. I love our social studies teacher too because he makes the class funny and fun to be learning about history which we all know isnt very interesting to some people especially me and the fact that he can do that and push kids who dont really care about school to work hard means a lot .🎓🎓✏✒📖📖
I dont feel that this school is a fit and positive enviornment for children. Especially after the last minute Principal change they made without alerting parents. The principal they have now is not fit to run a school as she displays arrogance and is very loud and seems a bit sarcastic. There is no order in this school what so ever, you walk in a never know who is in charge. The chain of command you have to go through to deal with any situation that may arise is very unorganized, no one knows answers to anything and no one there seems to be on the same page at all. The bed bug situation was a concern for me too as this has been an issue for the school since last May of 2013, sad that it became public in February of 2014. Almost 1 year later and parents were never informed of this situation. Key thing here is that parents are kept in the dark about a lot of issues going on in this school. Is much rather keep my children in a public school where there is more organization. Parents were never informed that a child walked out of the school through an exit door and was found almost 1 hour later at the laundromat next door, so security is a BIG issue as well.Education wise, it maybe good for children, but the adults running the school run it as a circus. Such an unorganized school. Their school board needs to be more involved and hire a Principal who will be more beneficial to parents and students as far as listening to concerns and taking them into consideration. I would never recommend this school to a parent, there is just too much up and down going on here and answers to questions and concerns are too often VERY HARD to find. Not a well run school at all.
My daughter has been in this for 2yrs now. And, we absolutely love everything about the School. What I love most is how organized the School is with all. Starting from Morning drop off to School Events etc. And of course the curriculum is excellent.
I do not enjoy the fact that they changed principles without notification to parents. I also do not enjoy the school lunch they can do SO much better than this. Yes, the food was unhealthy back then but ad least student were eating now students are not eating and starving themselves its horrible. And the uniform is taken way too far. 3 warnings and a suspension. Thats ridiculous and it can affect what high school students go do. You can do better.
This school is excellent!! In the public school i was in before transferring to CSEE i was anti-social because I didnt really know alot of people and i didnt want to make friends, but ever since i came to CSEE i basically know everyone including my teachers and administration.this school has made me become a better person and its my last year but i really hope by the time it comes to high school the charter high school is open and i am able to attend there!!
A public charter school with great approach to education. This school has been bridging achievement gap since it opened its doors to the community. Admission is by lottery only. Teachers are held accountable for students success!
This school has great education but please strive for a stronger disciplinary conduct like fighting in bathrooms and such. Although I had a wonderful time at your school good bye and good luckI will come back to vist l hope the school will have changed for the better when I return as graduate of your school and Ms. Salmon I will be coming to eee you the most bye =^)
Great school to prepare your child for a sound academic pursuit. Two of my kids graduated from there and were well prepared for high school.Friendly environment for kids too.
Paul Lopez you bullied my kids and I am just finding this out today, a year after I withdrew my daughter because you and Lapore tried to use summer school as a form of punishment, although my kid ranked in the top percentile for NYS.You have our number and address GI Joe. You need to go back to the BX. and teach at Rykers see if your National Guards training can compete.
A school of high expectations and standards. Awesome staff who love what they do and great kids who love coming to school. Test scores are definitely proof enough. One of the best!
This school is a pain in the ass. My sister is being harrased by this school and she hates it I hate it to the max..I hope they dont build no trash ass highschool talking about we are doing a hell of a job boy shut up

My son has been attending this school since Kindergarten. It is no longer as good as it used to be. Parents are no longer allowed transparency.
My daughters attend this school for the past 2 years and I love it. It was such a great find after so much online research.
I hate this school one day my mom went for a meeting and they said I called my teacher a bad word which I didn’t they make up lies I’ve been there for 4. Years almost 5 it SUCKS
Very unsafe environment. Teacher throw desk, chairs, etc. This can harm students. Do not go to this school.

2016-10-06I really do appreciate what this school has done to me and my brother as a person in all. This is my final year and this school and i have some quick notes if you are thinking of introducing your child into this school i will highly suggest that you do. The school has a very friendly environment as well as a spectacular academic curriculum and will bring support to your child no matter how well or not so in school. The teachers are especially encouraging from how to add correctly to how you should conduct your self in a public environment, the teachers will always have your back. Also just for a heads up make sure to wear uniform, its a personal thing. :-)

2016-10-06I absolutely love this school. Ive been here since 3rd grade and I have felt nothing but welcome. I especially loved my 7th grade year, due to the magnificent teachers I had. For example, if it wasnt for my math teachers way of teaching I would have never been able to understand the concept. I also loved the fact that she could relate to the kids and was very patient when it came to the childrens way of learning. I also love my social studies teacher since he taught history in a way that the kids would understand since he knew that it would be hard for us to understand if he just told us to read the text then write about it. He also gives us a study guide so that way we are even more prepared for the test. Last but not least, I would love to talk about my science teacher who not only helped me get a stronger liking for science, but helped me with any problems I had. Now why do you think that our school is called the Charter school of Educational EXCELLENCE.

2016-10-06The teachers at the school have done an excellent job in helping me excel at many subjects. For example my science teacher is a educated woman that was in the medical fields for a long time. And my history teacher has taught us the facts and figures of the world and if he was mean to your child, he was getting your child prepare for high school and the real world. If your child went to summer school but passed the NY State exam then that means he was struggling. This school has been like a home to me so please if I like it then you see why.

2018-05-18This school is a joke. The principal and mayor are friends and they do not have to report to the board of ed so they feel they can do what they want. They will threaten to send my daughter home, detention, or better yet I had to leave work several times to bring my daughter all black sneakers as if that has something to do with her learning. If the soul wasnt black but the majority of the sneaker was, but on several occasions Ive seen with my own eyes SEVERAL children not only their footwear wasnt all black it was a color that my daughter wouldve been sent home for. They pick and choose and then have the audacity to tell the children its mandatory for them to speak/write on behalf of the school to make it look good for the highschool. Ive befriended a total of 27 parents who are furious with the principal and the school where we either suck it up or pull our children out. PLEASE PARENTS DO YOUR RESEARCH AND LOOK INTO A PUBLIC SCHOOL IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE HEADACHE. Youre child and you as a parent will feel like its useless but if we all come together like they stand together with the lies on how good the school is and how they rip our children off for funds when theyre funded through programs to make it look good its not what it seems. Thank god next year is my daughter last year. The principal mouth is wreckless as she makes unprofessional comments in front of kids but is quick to say we can do what we want, we dont answer to the board if you dont like it pull your child. Most parents dont have that option as its convenient for us due to our work schedule.

2018-06-02So my son has been here for almost 5 Years. I took him out of the school just a few days ago at the time of writing this. This school is honestly a pain in the body. Teachers can be very rude. Ms O Donald, a monitor in the school has been harassing my child ever since he came there. She is very rude and demanding. My Child made a review on google about this school, and they forced him to take it down. Like, it’s called freedom of speech for a reason. And my son has a YouTube Channel, with a following of more then 600 Subscribers. This school stalks his channel. And they say their gonna get him in trouble for what he has on it. I’m like: it’s outside of school Jesus. All his life in that school he was bullied for no reason. He would come home crying and begging to stay home. And the kids bully him online and when my son tries to defend himself that’s when someone gets in trouble. This school is high. He got suspended for accidentally “dabbing” on a teacher. Then a year later it happened again for posting a picture of a teacher on the schools offical twitter account. The picture of the teacher was on their website. Dont come to this school

2016-10-06I am a student here at CSEE and have been here since the 3rd grade. I am absolutely in love with this school and would never even think about leaving.I definitely recommend bringing your child here. I have been blessed to attend such an advanced school. I love you Mrs. Lepore forever, your the best math teacher ever !!! and Ms Garcia, you have seriously taught me so much and of course I cant forget about Mr. Lopez you have been the most amazing social studies teacher ever no matter what others say. All In I am so happy to be in this AMAZING school and am sad to be leaving such amazing teachers as well as friendships that Ive made in my 6 years of attending this school :) so grateful for all the staff and students.

2015-09-01I have been at this school from K-8, and its a great school. Send your children here. Theres never been a single moment for me to consider changing schools. Every teacher does just what they are expected, many of them do even more. All of them are dedicated and never show up to school without even more energy than the students. Throughout my years staying at this school, Ive seen fights, one student expelled immediately after bringing items illegal for them to have at their age, bed bug incident (which wasnt a problem to deal with), and some substitute teacher nonsense. But the majority of inconveniences are not the fault of the school. And everything possible is done so that the school can return to its usual industrial environment. I agree though, that CoC enforcement is rather weak in this school. Ive always been told that if I landed myself in detention any 3 times in the year, I would receive in-school suspension. I can admit that I have gotten detention more than 3 times, but every extra time I got a second chance. another, and youre gonna be suspended. To this day Ive never been suspended. The point is, the school is perfect once they figure out how to enforce every rule and not be afraid to punish a broken rule. 2016-10-06This school is an extravagant school. The teachers are fervid about helping students achieve an extensive understanding of our curriculum. The teachers also teach us discipline and brighten our days. The lunch can be better but thats not a big problem. This school helped me learn alot about the world and i appreciate this school.

2016-10-06Attending this has been a wonderful experience for me. The teachers are very passionate about ensuring that their students gain a deep understanding of their subjects. All the teachers are highly intelligent and many of my classmates could be labeled as prodigies. However, just like most schools, there are a few imperfections. The food served in the school, largely, is of very poor quality and a select handful of the staff are stern. Despite this, the plurality of the teachers showcase a caring and heart-felt attitude towards their pupils. Especially among the middle school teachers is this attitude most prevalent. Therefore, as I conclude my comment, I would like to emphasize how, undeterred by its flaws, CSEE is finest school in Yonkers for a child to go to and I highly recommend that you send your child there.

2016-10-06Charter School of Educational Excellence is a school where students achieve greatness and are able to reach for their goals. All teachers are greatly appreciated by the students, have experience teaching and in no way rude to the students or their religious beliefs. Resources are improved each year and this school has a great technology sources. Such as, laptops, computers, and even a new programs called code red. This school also prepares your children for the outside world and high school thanks to our very own eligible guidance counselor.The Charter School of Educational Excellence has many teachers from k through 8. I have been here since 5th grade and never have I ever seen the administration portraying despicable behavior towards the students. Every opinion is respected, under the account of it being respectful. Each and every child is kept safe through out the day and safety procedures. Choosing CSEE as your childs school, is a very valuable choice. Thats why it is known as Charter School of E-D-U-C-A-T-I-O-N-A-L E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-C-E
