I just waisted over an hr of my life talking to incompetent staff. Booked ticked from Europe to usa months ago. Today on boarding had to pay 120 euros extra for one way ticket because according to them one of the flights had extra charges. No where during booking is mentioned there are additional charges. I was offered $30 refund which I declined. It’s a shame of a company. I have to pay additional 120 euros on return flight so total of 240 euros on top of booking price. I’ve been a customer for few years but no one NEVER again purchasing anything from cheapoair. No wonder they have 1 star reviews in recent months.
I bought tickets pre-pandemic and I was given a credit when I had to cancel the tickets. I tried to use the credit today and I was quoted $492. after the credit was applied ($790.80 for 2 tickets, so I figured $380. for 1 ticket which is what I was trying to book) on the airlines own website the same ticket was $560. When I told the CheapOair agent she said that they charge a $70. agency fee for rebooking. She said the difference was in the price of the ticket...? Never again will I use CheapOair and Im telling everyone I can the same thing. Im out almost $800.
Do yourself a favour and do not purchase airline tickets, hotels or anything from CheapOair. It is a complete scam. Weve bought their premium insurance so we could cancel for any reason. When we went to cancel they said no policy exist. We have been on able to get our refund from them for a cancelled flight Due to covid. We recorded them acknowledging we were due a refund. When you call their customer service it is in India and all they do is lie and lie and lie. Save yourself all the grief and aggravation. Please send this post out to anybody and everybody you can.
Fraud alert. Worst experience ever imaginable. Lost TONS of money rebooking because of covid. They literally told us covid is not an unforeseen circumstance and does not cover the insurance policy that we paid for. That they stole the money for. They forced me to buy a return ticket I couldnt use. They forced me to stay on the phone for nearly 2 hours to book and they charged more than the airline website charged. Then to top it all off, they gave us a flight that didnt exist, or changed, and never told any of us. Now we are losing an entire day in Lego Land. CheapOair has made sure we never want to fly again. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!
This is a MONEY SCAM website... hidden fees they try to bs their way into charging you more, I bought a two way ticket and after I got a confirmation number they said my return flight wasnt charged to my credit card because the price of my ticket went up from the airlines and they told me I could buy the same ticket for more money but when I looked at the same flight on the actual airlines website it was actually cheaper than buying from cheapoair.WARNING: DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF.
Never book with CheapOair. Flights canceled due to covid (spring 2020). A huge pain to get a flight rescheduled, they would not refund. Then they charged us $100 to rebook! Finally on our rebooked trip we wouldnt even have taken otherwise, and they had all the timing wrong. Showed up to airport hours before our our flight actually takes off and have a 5 hour layover that was supposed to be 1. Basically lost an entire day of our vacation. Not sure how they even got that info wrong. Terrible customer service, avoid at all cost.
DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Most unhelpful company. I paid EXTRA to make sure I had a flexible ticket. Since we’re living in a pandemic. Turned out I needed to change the flight. Could I change the flight ? Nope. I couldn’t get hold of anyone. No one helped me. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to call the airline and pay another huge fee. I’m actually just so upset. Not all of us have extra money to fork out whenever we feel like it.
I would rate them with zero stars if possible. I recently purchased a ticket and mis-keyed the birthday on the ticket. Tried to correct error, but they wanted to charge me $100 to correct a one key correction. I asked to cancel the ticket. They said they would refund me the full price and I agreed to the cancelation. They sent me a confirmation email for a full refund. After about 1 hour I received another e-mail with a $35 cancellation fee. This was not agreed upon, so I tried calling and had been rudely disconnected twice. So I tried sending and e-mail to contact me and I still have not received a word. Do not use this travel agencyMark J.
Please don’t buy anything from CheapOair! My experience has been terrible in every sense. Waiting for a refund for almost a year since the pandemic started. I understand it’s been a difficult time but it’s the only company I’m still waiting to receive the refund from. They finally said that they are going to give me my money back, and since that another nightmare started. The refund was unsuccessful and after 20 days they haven’t resolved the issue, they do not call, they don’t give any update. Worst customer service I received in years. Please don’t waste your time and money buying anything on CheapOair.
!FRAUD ALERT! Literally tried to issue tickets on DIFFERENT DATES and a DIFFERENT DESTINATION than what we were literally looking at when booking. We IMMEDIATELY contacted what they call CUSTOMER SERVICE to WAIT ON HOLD FOR 11 HOURS over 3 days in 3 SEPARATE CALLS to have ALL 3 CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS LITERALLY HANG UP ON US. They have refused to refund our purchase, and literally pocketed the refund from the air carrier as we verified with the carrier that the ticket was cancelled. STAY AWAY, SHOULD BE AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT OFFER NO SERVICE IN RETURN.
THE WORSTTTTTT, I booked two plane tickets to Hawaii for July 2020 but due to the pandemic I obviously had to cancel. I received most of my money back as a credit (of course not all because why would anyone ever do that) I then booked new flights with my credit for 2021 later in the year and still had several hundreds leftover that they said I can use in the same year to book another flight (American Airline changed their policy due to COVID-19 to allow passengers to use their leftover credit) Here I am tying to book a new flight and they are now saying my credit was forfeited and that there’s nothing that can be done unless the original agent who booked my last flight calls me back.... 3 days later and no call back while flight prices are raising. They just want your money, DO NOT USE THEM.

Booked ticket to San Diego on Alaska Airlines. and there wasnt even a flight at that time.Had to move to standby at a much later time.Losing a whole day a Legoland which has been the wish trip for my terminally ill child.This is the worst company! It’s a scamI was promised a refund since June 16th 2020 for a SaS flight canceled due to COVID.Four months, and many follow up mails and calls later, they have no idea when could they send my refund and blame it all on the airline. They give no explanations, no updates, no alternatives. Just to wait even tough the refund was supposed to arrive in maximum 2 billing cycles
I used cheapoair for years;however their customer service is unacceptable! I was on hold for two hours and when agent answered me, I could hear that she was outside somewhere in the park, hearing childrens voices and screaming. I told her I had emergency to change the ticket, since cheapoair changed my ticket without asking me and gave me whole new 9hours of layover when I had 3. She just got rid of me by telling that system was down. I could barely hear her voice, because of the wind. this situation is very unprofessional. I asked her to call me back when system would be up, she said she cant take any of my info and cant call back. I guess she couldnt write it down in the park.Chat is also a mess, I was waiting for an agent to reply me forever. Will never buy from here again!!!
Horrible customer support and service!!!- They sold a flight to me that didnt exist, that was cancelled way before the day of my trip and they never contacted me to let me know. I have called them so many times and even after waiting for so long they still give me excuses and have not given me my refund. I lost my flight, I was stuck in another country because they never told me anything and they just said it was confirmed when the flight was not!! They are so bad!! I just recommend not to use Cheapoair. I definitely NEVER will!
CheapOAir own by foreign country scamming US Citizen. they cancelled my flight due to Covid-19 but never gave me refund. Im glad that I live in NYC so I can file small claim and report to Mayer or NYC to cancel their business license, so they cant make fool to US Citizens.
For locally may be theyre okay but if you plan on booking an international flight youre better off going through the airline and booking with them. Because anytime you have any questions about your tickets CheapOair will direct you to call the airline company yourself and find out yourself they have nothing to do with it once you have bought the tickets from Cheapoair and also when you call their customer representative they sure do not identify his/her real name makes you feel like youre talking to scammers. haha
How they still in business with 1 star ratings? With the pandemic they seem to just toss the problem to the airline directly. Wont go above and beyond in customer service. They seem to only be in business not caring for their customers. I wony ever buy thru Cheap O Air again. Waste of time &Waste of money buying thru a Travel Agency.

After confirming with them that our flights were still valid with American Airlines, they issued a cancellation fee of $105 to our bank account and refuse to reverse it! The name says cheap, but you wont expect the service to be the worst on the planet (Cheap). A group of brokers take your question, then put you on hold for 300 hrs, calling the airline, then come back with a partial answer. If you ask again, be on hold again mostly for the next 3 days.
Terrible customer service! It took them 5 months to refund me, often giving me the wrong information on the status of my refund! Then almost 6 months later, CheapOair contacted me on a request I had made to speak with the manager, 6 months later!!! Dont trust them. Just BAD service! I would NOT recommend them to anyone!!!
If they had a zero star I would put it without hesitation! The absolute worst customer crevice ever! Never have I been treated like this in my life, they try and make you feel down, tell you that you are wrong, once they find out your calling about a refund the whole attitude changes, they put you on hold for 30mins- 1 1/2 hours just to hang up in the end, if they tell you to wait a certain number of days for your refund just know it’s never coming because once the last day for said refund passes they will tell you to wait more days. They also ask you to understand from their point of view due to the pandemic..............YOU ARE A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY, WE A HARD WORKING PEOPLE WHO BATTLING TO MAKE RENT!!!
Worst travel agency ever..Super bad customer support..A lot of hidden charges (Customer support is additional fee is valid only for 24h after booking flight.Customer supports put you on hold forever and then drops the line.If you are lucky and spead to a decent customer rep they find ways to charge you for platinum service package.Different pricing from what you see online when you search through their search engine.Try to stay away.. they lost my bussiness for good after this last booking I had with them.
Worst experience ever. Everyone says something different. No one is actually helpful. You spend forever on hold. Their definitions of 2-3 minutes need some serious work. Never will I do this again. Takes forever to get a refund regardless of it you pay for trip insurance.
They charged me a lot money to Reebok airline ticket after the Turkish airline canceled my trip and I got nothing I called the agent told me few hours and I told him you are liar because I called Turkish airline they said no body request rebooking or paid any money all agents very bad stealing your money
The worst option to buy your tickets, I bought them and even with the COVID situation they did not give me options, I even paid the travel insurance and even if you buy it with them they tell you that you must contact a third company, which never answers, in Conclusion I called more than 4 times, wrote by chat the same number of times and since I cannot travel due to the COVID situation and even if I pay the insurance I am about to lose the 4 tickets
They gave us a 24hour and 30 minutes lay over. Tried 4 times to reach them by phone. Would talk to me and say they were trying to fix it then the phone disconnected. Even though I gave them my phone number to call back of they got disconnected. Then tried the app chat. Same thing occurred. Chat would get disconnected. This was the worst. DONT PURCHASE FLIGHT TICKETS FROM THEM. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Very very bad service, I have been calling them for my refund for 5th time. They charged me extra but never got a refund, If I get a chance I would have not given any star for it, please please my sincere request not to go with them, I had a bad experience and never ever suggest any of my friend.

Terrible customer service, they will not answer their phone.When you accidentally do get a customer rep, they are in India and the phone line is very hard to hear and the reps are hard to understand, especially when roosters are crowing in the background. I have not been able to contact a supervisor.
For those who’s are trying to book flight from Cheap OAir, please don’t do it, because if you have any issue, if you try to call them mostly it take an hour to answer your call and even they they not answer, and if you asking questions about refund they put you on hold and after waiting long they disconnecting ur call, they are very bad people

2022-05-16Stay away from this company!! I booked flights to Europe for May of 2020 which was obviously canceled due to Covid. They refused to refund my money so I had to dispute the charges. When my bank reached out to them they decided to refund the money (not all of it but most of it). After they refunded it they have continuously tried to reach out and scam me and claim that they refunded the money twice to me. They are THE WORST company to work with in the history of airlines. Their reviews speak for themselves!!

I have stopped buying from this corrupt company and I won’t deal with their corrupt representatives from India. I recommend you all just go and buy your ticket directly from the airline not from cheaters like CheapOair.

2022-03-14They refused to give a refund even though my flight was cancel by the airline. They also try to get to pay more money for a different ticket. It was horrific experience. They hung u me several times. They yell at me it was plain and simple abusive and when I ask for the manager they hung on me.

2022-01-31NOT RECOMMED COMPANY BECARFUL DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY.I usually dont write review but after experience with Cheapoair are who are operating from outside the US and Canada. the call always disconnected.Very poor service grift and fraud companies.The price are not accurate and takes advantage of people.I was dealing with them for almost a month now calling every day and disconnected my call everytime I was disconnected 4 times today I tried to call from private number or hiding number they will speak with you without any problems this how scamers they are.If you want to speak with supervisors they will pretend they are transferring you but they will disconnect the line.NOT RECOMMEND.

2022-01-08WARNING DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH THIS COMPANY IT IS A FULL SCAM! I thought I booked a two way economy flight from NYC-MOSCOW, but I am being asked for extra service charges such as seat reservation and additional fees for baggage that I had already payed and I cannot reach customer service(because there is none!). 1200 dollars later my ticket is NONREFUNDABLE and I have to pay an extra 100 EUROS for one baggage. I payed for FULL ECONOMY with seat reservation and baggage, and I received the most BASIC economy ticket with NO ADD ONS for FULL PRICE!! Thanks cheapoair NEVER buying tickets through your company again!!

2022-01-25I tried to order tickets from DCA (Reagan International Airport) to Tampa, Florida. After making my selections and receiving my itinerary, I noticed that I was departing out of DCA to Tampa and returning to BWI airport (about 2.5 hours from my house minus traffic). I had insurance on my flight and tried to change it but there was nothing coming back to DCA. I spoke with the helpline (a man named Oswald) and he gave me asinine solutions as to me and my wife staying in Tampa or just keeping the ticket as is (with my car remaining in the DCA parking lot). I had just purchased the ticket twenty minutes prior and advised me that my refund would take 7-14 business days (although my flight was well within that window leaving me without my money for a period of time). My departing airline was American and my returning flight was Spirit, he informed me that neither were returning to DCA which was odd because I fly in and out of there. I booked another flight on another website and I got my flight leaving DCA and returning. This was my first and will be my last attempt at using this website as I find it unnerving, useless and the helpline not as helpful. There was not one aspect of this website experience that was pleasant. Use at your own risk.

2021-04-18I had used cheapoair for 10 years, and generally had good experiences. This has completely changed in the last 12 months. They constantly cancel your flight sometimes without notifying you, and sometimes booking you on a new flight whose connection leaves before you would even arrive. If the drastic changes do not work with your schedule you can get a refund within a month for the price of the ticket, but they will not refund their service charges even though they are the ones who make the change canceling your original flight. I will never use cheapoair again.

2021-12-21We booked round trip flights to Cancun from SLC. I booked 9 months early. I received 1 email with a change during that time and printed my itinerary 10 days before the flight. The departing flight time changed from 6am to 5:05am sometime between those days and I was not notified of the change. We were making our way thru the new SLC airport at 5am, when our flight was leaving. I heard the announcement that the flight was late call and we were running to catch it and airport personnel saw us running and called ahead to hold the plane for us. I am so freaking lucky!!That we arrived in time.I learned a valuable lesson as well.Check your flight online! Do Not Depend on Cheapoair to inform you!!! I hope everyone else is as lucky as me :)
