A really nice golf course with wide open fairways, easy to keep an eye on where the ball went. Nice staff. Greens are in good shape, soft greens.
Unfortunately the greens were the slowest Ive seen this year. Traps had heavy thick sand. Did play in 4 hours though!!

One of the worst golf experiences of my life. Almost 6 hours to play 18 holes due to slow play from groups in front of us. Course ranger was nowhere to be found. At times there was 4 groups waiting at the same tee box
Nice golf course. The greens and fairways are cut nicely. The par 6 #18 plays shorter than you would think it would. Good course when you are at the end of Long Island.
Very nice and well kept course! Most of the holes are wide open with lots of forgiveness, greens are well kept and love the last hole par 6!
Wide, open and forgiving fairways. Generous layout. Reasonable prices, friendly people. Just needs a little more attention from the ranger, a lot of pitch marks, bunkers not raked. In addition, we had a loud foursome in front of us that just did not give a sh.. about anybody or anything around them.

Nice course. Very long course capped off by the par 6 600+ yard 18th hole. Relatively flat. Not a ton of water. But a good place to play.
Been going to this course since I was around 9 or 10, love it everytime. Had an egg and cheese there today after a round of 9, was tasty and the bartender was very friendly.
Nice course. The length makes this challenging from the white tees. Par 6 18th over 600 yds. Keep it in play and you can score well. The rough is thicker than it appears. Enjoy.
Very nice public course, usually in good shape and some really nice holes. And the only par 6 on Long Island
Overall solid links track, course well maintained. Mostly forgiving landing spots, but plenty of traps around greens to keep things interesting.

Great course! Has the best fairways for a public course. Its a forgiving but long course. Low green fees at twilight. And of course they have a 19th hole.
This course is in great shape. Well positioned sand traps in the fairways and tight greens make it very challenging.

Good golf course, non-existent service lacking bartender lacking staff on the 9th hole lacking any type of refreshments or beer cart.
Pace of place is ridiculously slow. Way too many ball marks on the green. People playing barefoot. No one cares as long as they are getting paid the green fee.

This is not a links course. Both courses are tree lined and the Links is just like every other LI course.

2022-06-24Cherry creek is in immaculate condition. Fairways and greens look amazing. Bunkers were nicely raked and smooth. Some long 5s and dogleg 4s. Often breezy conditions make it more challenging then it looks. Great spot.

2022-05-08One of my favorite courses. Well maintained, rough can get long during the season, but it is deliberately done as part of the challenge to the course. Pace of play is very rarely ever an issue, have finished 18 in 3hrs on a fast day. Drivable Par 4 on the front for a big hitter and the 600 Par 6 18th is always a fun and challenging hole that if hit well can offer a shot at eagle.

2018-10-04Love this place. Especially the links. Im a terrible golfer so its perfect (wide open, not much heavy rough). If you stink like me play the links. If you prefer a challenge, play the woods. Place is pretty well kept. People are nice. But aerated greens a fast and bumpy in late summer/early fall. Still great for a public course.

2021-04-16Both the Links and Woods courses are great. I prefer the Woods course due to the Links slower play. Grounds are always in great shape. Early morning dew is punishing on Woods first few holes. Links hole two par 3 is always a fun closest to the pin contest for the group.

2019-12-22The course is challenging for the average golfer. You will love the par 6 hole as a finishing hole. The course has very good fairways but the greens are average. Friendly atmosphere.
