Cherry Hill in other cities:
Cherry Hill is one of my favorite picnic destinations in Central Park. It its name from the cherry trees that bloom there each spring. It is a quiet hill providing a great view to the Lake and the boats around Bow Bridge. Along with the cherries you can enjoy a large population of forsythia and azaleas. The Cherry Hill fountain is the center of the place. It has a very elegant design with glass lights atop and you can find the Wagner Cove just at the west.I can’t wait for the spring to come so I can enjoy my favorite soft pink blossoms.
Beautiful.Good for photo shoots. Best place for a picnic or to just hangout with friends and family. We did a bike ride to this place and enjoyed stpoing over on our way to other attractions in the park. Place is decently crowded. You will find people dancing, singing etc. small vendors even sell stuff.
Awesome area u can spend very good and relaxed time under the trees from your exhausted routine i love to go every year twice or thrice many people having their wedding photoshoot over there and o believe it’s very good place for that you cam capture nature beauty ith your memorable moments both will be unforgettable
Its the fountain from the Friends opening credits! My understanding is the first series or so they filmed in the actual fountain in Central park, but then they made a replica on a set.It was fully operational when I visited which was nice and its not usually too busy here.Well worth a visit although not as majestic as the Bethesda Fountain.

2018-11-15Cherry Blossoms! The reason that this location in Central Park is called Cherry Hill is because of the cherry blossom trees planted on this hill. Literally the best place to view cherry blossoms in Central Park. There are other locations in Central Park with cherry blossoms, but this is the only place with a waterfront view along with probably the prettiest light pink cherry blossom tree that I have ever seen. Even though the cherry blossom bloom is now over, be sure to mark this place as a must visit for next spring in Central Park.

2017-11-27Another lovely spot to get a scenic view from Central Park. It’s relatively small fountain but it is situated on the hill. You can get a lovely Manhattan skyscrapers from here. And also a glimpse of Bow Bridge.

2019-02-20Nice spot, near the lake and the Bethesda Terrace.Theres a small pavillion down the path to the west, which is a nice place just to sit and think, and the lake, to the north, has fantastic views of the beautiful old buildings along Central Park West.Continue along the path along the shore and youll see the Bow Bridge, a bealtiful spot, and continue further along the shore to the Bethesda Terrace, my personal favorite place in the park and perhaps the entire world ; )They have fireworks here occasionally which can be seen for miles.

2018-03-31A beautiful spot in Central Park. This is a place where a lot of movies were filmed and right next to it you can kayak in the summer for like $15. Would recommend this spot if you’re going to check out Central Park as it is very iconic
