Very poorly done. They use processed meat. I hate processed meats. It make me sick. Its not real chicken or lamb. The bread is dry and hard. They pack the Gyros with vegetables. It has no taste and a bad smell. The sause is thick like honey. The worst gyro I ever had. I didnt even eat it. Not worth the money spent. This was my first and last time. 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 . I do not recommend this place.
I admire this spot! They serve excellent dishes, they have a nice menu, The cook in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen, I like a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently good, the service towards the guests is nice. I often eat in this place and I not even once was discontended. I highly recommend it.
Dine in, take out, or get delivered either way the food is outstanding. Busy at night but still for take out you are usually only looking at a 15 minute wait. Upscale establishments, with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. 5/5 stars all day highly recommend. For the family or a date, businesses meeting at lunch, or just a night in.
We love going out. Last night we came to this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a lovely experience there with delicious cooking and a courteous crew and a great chef. We put this venue in our list and we shall certainly return very soon. We deeply recommend.
I go to this unique place once a month because I like the good air that is exist in this place. The personel is very welcoming and well trained. The service is extraordinarily rapid. Also, the food they cook is first-rate. I visited many times and I was never disappointed. The payment is modest. I suggest this place to my friends and family.
The food is standard, nothing special. You can expect a pretty good Mediterranean meal here, though it is a little pricey. You should also be aware that there is absolutely no parking available at any time. There are maybe 2 or 3 spots out front on the very busy Willis Ave, which are always taken up by the cook staff or patrons of other restaurants, and you WILL get a $70 TICKET if you try parking anywhere within walking distance on the adjacent blocks. It HAS happened to me before and I am never going to this restaurant again for this reason. So, add $70 to the price of the meal if you intend to drive here.
I have been going to this place for years back in early 2000s when my office was near. This was my first visit back in 5 years or so and the quality of the food and the service is still outstanding. Still the best Chicken Gyro, Grrek salad and Turkish lentil soup around. The Chicken Gyro is cut right from the spit, not the presliced stuff you see everywhere else.Additionally the Baklava for dessert was off rhe charts.
Delicious food. Valet on sight for any parking concerns. The price was very affordable given the quality and amount of food received. I had 2 spinach pies and a filet mignon kebob sandwich that totaled $20 and fed me for 3 meals (one there two spinach pies at home). Would highly recommend to people in Roslyn area looking for a cheaper alternative to our standard dining costs without decreasing quality of meal. Staff could be nicer but in this town Ive paid 5xs more money for the exact same quality of service. All around good deal.
Decent quality food . okay. service all age groups are here. They should steer families to 1 dining room. And let other patrons dine in peace in the other dining room. This is Roslyn. And the spoiled children that live here are out of control. Their parents sit there and do nothing. Its not the kids fault. Its the a****** parents. That sense of entitlement. Ive lived in this town my whole life . And the class of people has declined rapidly over the years. Plenty of money but money cant buy class. Something these people will never have .
You cant be too picky but you cant be too cheap here either. If you dont order the filet mignon kebab, then dont expect too much. The chicken is adequate. Stay with the standards and youll get full for a reasonable price. You have to understand that their clientele here is 75% senior citizens. This means that the staff are metaphorically backing up Brinks trucks full of ca$h to the owners garages. Why would they care about grilling fresh or spicing perfectly?! Get it?
Ive had Turkish food all my life. It was the first time I tried this restaurant. I ordered the chicken shish kebab. The word shish means six , the skewer only had 4 pieces of chicken, very small portion. The kebab had no taste and no spices on it. The kwbab was not grilled fresh when ordered, it was reheate on the grill and served. it was burnt and dry! I did not even complain to the manager. when I walked in , I told them this is my first time here and give me your most popular dish. I guess this is the best they can do!
Would give a zero star review but google doesnt allow it. Waitstaff looks like you dont belong there, staff doesnt smile at you, the manager on site on friday December 23 at 7:50. Doesnt know how to handle his staff he let them be on there phone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE SEEN.

2021-12-27Ordered 3 sandwiches. The meat had proper flavor and was not bad at all. However they packed so much salad and vinegar all 3 were completely soggy and submerged. A little salad is ideal Ofcourse. If I wanted a salad I would’ve ordered one.

2022-04-11The chicken Kebab was excellent. Ive had better Doner, as this seems pre-made, not made in house. But still tasty

2021-08-28The cashier is horrible. We ordered a pickup and when we got there, no greeting. Not even asking what are we there for. Our food was ready, but they never called us. We have to ask if our food is ready and said ok. Also, the last time we went there to pick up food, theyve said that they mistakenly gave our order to other people and have to wait while they make it again but we could see them forgetting to make the order.1 star for the food because its amazing. Definitely worth your money.

2021-07-19Its okay. They are getting really cheap with the dishes and the sides. Wife ordered a Greek salad and no grape leaves or pita bread. Gave only 1 sauce for whole table of 6 people. Food was okay but lettuce in gyro was browning already. Their baclava was a joke, 4 tiny bite size pieces is one order. Used to be much bigger.

2021-04-11While in service is excellent, the take out is a mess. Twice in the last 2 months I ordered and the food was either over cooked or missing. The people taking orders had no patience and there was so much salt in the meat that my fingers were swollen the whole next day. Eating inside is a much better experience.
