Dry mess of a simle thing like mac and cheese tells you they have no pride here, the mash potatoe scoop into containers with a drop literally a drop of gravy, and the checken dry rubbery like its old or reheated when it was sitting out to long, staff acts like your pulling their teeth to get them to do something , I can only give it on star because the grading does not allow it to go lower, I have been to other popeye and this place is the worst AVOID THIS DUMP
Staff is really pleasant even when its busy.
When I inquire about the surf, and turf meal they tell me its unavailable 🤨 meanwhile the other Popeyes have it no problem... Im also not a fan of their chicken tenders < not cooked all the way overall I Wouldnt really eat this food 😁 in my overall opinion Not good chicken
Just picked up some late night chicken and Anne was an amazing cashier! Had me walking out feeling better than I walked in and I havent eaten yet! The other reviews about the night staff being great are true! Do I hear a raise and a promotion!? YES, PLEASE!
This place is horrible will never ever order from them again. They delivered food that was cold, and stale. Old chicken old fries. The uber driver didnt speak English so he claims and refused to come back when we called the store back they refused to answer the call. Now we hungry cant eat the food i must throw it in the trash

Had a great experience getting food at this Popeyes location. Anne took our order and did so wonderfully! She was kind and courteous, qualities that are sometimes lacking in fast food eateries. She was mad dope! P.s Thank you for the jelly ;D
It was a great overall experience.But one of the cashier machine went out of commission. Then another one went out of commission. It took 5 mins just to get back online. But overall I love Popeyes either way.
The staff is what really makes this place so comely. The restaurant is nothing special; its been a hotly contested spot since the place was open for rent. The people there are clearly very passionate about working there and working with each other, and as long as youre kind, theyll continue to do so effortlessly.
The young lady at cashier station was very helpful and attentive. All these times I was given biscuits and rarely ate them, until I got strawberry jam. This made a great meal... incredible.
Food is horrible. Never hot never fresh. The wait is horrible. My chicken wasnt cooked all the way. Never have any cajun fries. I rather take the trip to stillwell to get fresh food. Horrible i would never spend my money there again.
Great customer services and the manger is very friendly and when something Is wrong he gets it right and doesn’t have an attitude the employees are nice and respectful and get ur order correct all the time and never complains

Went in and waited at an empty counter. There was a line of people waiting. No one showed up for about 2-3 minutes. When a gentleman finally showed up, he was still conversing with another staff member and showed no concern that there was a line. Was extremely disappointed so I left. I cannot rate the food or eating experience but the customer service ..not too good.
I love they chicken and buiscuts. The service is great clean store and all. My only issue is the coleslaw.. It taste like an ingredient is missing. The portions for it to be a large side is very small. As to the location on stillwell, large coleslaw, was a large coleslaw. Idk if its still that way but, thats my only issue.

Old dried up chicken strips wasnt no meat at all just hard crust breading and rubber fries. Ive worked at popeyes for years, and for any standards that food was unacceptable. I hate wasting food i but had to throw it out, a true waste of money
I ordered 12 pieces of chicken to go. When I got home, not only did they give me a bunch of wings, they gave me a chicken tender instead of an actual piece of chicken! I cant help but feel personally attacked by that. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich and according to the photo, there were supposed to be pickles in it. He had nothing but a chicken patty in his sandwich. The chicken felt more greasy and just not as fresh. Ill be taking my business to the Popeyes on Surf or a Chinese-owned Popeyes fromnow on.

Food is good like all Popyees ...but they do not honor coupons or specials(example *Uber I called store to make sure they did ..once order was placed they did not honor even driver informed them... glad Uber did the right thing and gave a refund.)))& Prices are higher if you can take your buisness to a more honorable popyees.
Expensive, for fast food. But hey, people gotta get paid, right? Definitely not recommended for a daily dinner meal, but on occasion, treat yo self. Its a beautiful establishment, too.

They are ususally good but this time they forgot I ordered an apple pie with my order and I waited an extra 20 minutes and when I reminded them about it they blamed me.

The ones who attend are balls when charging with the prices and they blame the charging machine for what does not work well and check their chicken they give it to you with golden brown feathers
I dont know why, the same cockroach, but not the same type of food. One of the cockroaches is 11 chicken pieces, we get 11 small pieces of chicken, and others are 11 very large chicken pieces. There is always a difference between Chinese and Western.

2022-07-02I ordered a mealThe cashier calculated everything on her phone and gave me no receiptAnd when I asked for a receipt she started to argue I said look at the camera that is illegal plus I have no receipt. I wind up just getting my money back and ordering Chinese food. My husband got a order one day and they gave cold mashed potatoesMust of forgot to preheat it smh terrible customer service. 2022-03-23Ordered from Popeyes on Uber eats my entire order tasted like day old food just hard and stale. Chicken was over-cooked like it had been re-fried then some of my items were wrong. Nothing was fresh, I absolutely love Popeyes food, but this was the worst food I have ever had!!!

2022-04-15I asked for a 2pc Breast and Wing combo but when I bite into what I thought was a Breast, it was a Thigh! Yuck! I do not like dark meat, slimy chicken so I had to throw my food away! I couldn’t go back to the store because they were already closed and I was already home! Why would Popeyes keep their thighs and breast in the same batch??!!! Ugh I’m just disgusted!

2021-08-01None of the workers are wearing masks as they talk and yell over your food. They have no clue what’s going on and are completely rude and can’t even handle putting chicken in a bag. They need better training and a better screening process for employees. High school students running a McDonald’s are better than the staff here.

2021-11-17This Popeyes is deteriorating more and more with each day in reference to the quality of food. The spicy chicken is not spicy - i thought the chicken was old but even waiting for a new batch resulted with confirmed disappointment in decline of quality. They are simply money hungry and this is really bad for Popeyes brand - I believe management was changed and turnover is high as observed with multiple visits as it is a convenient place that allows seating.

2021-05-08Ordered a 3 chicken tender meal with a LARGE red rice and beans with a regular order of fries. They gave me a thigh and two drums meal with fries. And a SMALL red rice and beans, completely opposite from what I ordered. I guess it was late and closed to closing time so they threw some stuff together in a box. Not caring if it was correct or not. Do not recommend ordering from here on uber eats. Go pick it up and make sure there doing there job properly. 😑

2021-12-11I am a big fan of Surf Ave location here in Coney Island. Super quick service, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Mermaid store is the EXACT opposite. Online order took them 40 minutes to prepare. Extremely rude staff, said will mess up my food (???) Time for BBB to investigate maybe? BEWARE.

2021-10-24This Popeyes is the worst , I ordered food on Uber eats they did not pack my spicy chicken sandwich my french fries were cold they didn’t give me no ketchup or barbecue sauce as I requested there were no straws no napkins my sprite was flat my fruit punch soda was missing , I will never order from this establishment again!!!!!!!!!! I was looking forward to my sandwich & everything else I paid for. They don’t even answer the phone either because maybe they know they be messing up orders
