I called to order food to pick up and had quite an ordeal taking 10 minutes to get the order placed for 3 items. Which was crazy priced and I lowered to 2 items... Its because I had a question or 2, and was put on hold before each answer. Trainee probably and I get that but my later experience cemented my bad feelings.I arrived a little late, 10 minutes after I got the text saying to follow the link to check in for my curbside order. I checked in. 5 minutes later I checked in again. More time passes. Now 20-25 minutes after my food finished cooking I go inside and see it sitting on a counter, no heat lamps even. I wait 5 minutes to be noticed so I can pay.My food is cold. Im pretty sure they never warmed the queso or it really got so cold it felt refrigerated. My hanger is not appeased.
Straight to the point. 01-21-22 at approximately 5:45pm, I watched a chilis staff member pour wine back into the bottle. To clarify, a customer ordered two wines, never drank the wine or it appeared as so. They then took the glasses and I visually watched that staff member pour said wine back into the empty wine bottle. This now quarter filled wine bottle, was placed back on the serving rack. After I commented on the action, this staff member laughed and said we dont waste around here..
Staff was wonderful! Theyre running the best they can even with staff shortages. Our waitress was on the ball.But when I go to a bigger chain restaurant, I expect some level of quality in the food. I ordered the Santa fe salad. When it came out I immediately knew I was in for disappointment......a handful of bagged lettuce with 2 uncut chicken strips on it. They clearly made it first, by the time I got it, it was wilted and warm.I ate it reluctantly and extremely angry.Their French Fry portions are smaller.Wasnt a meal worth $86
Just left chilis in Auburn... not pleased at all. Waitresses were not around ...they were not busy at all but they still were not attentive. Had to ask for napkins no silverware given or offer of water. We Had to flag our waitress down to get drinks and something to munch on. Ignored us completely.Waitress spilled drinks not once but twice all over table.Was not impressed at all.There was no bartender there when we arrived and our drinks didnt taste like they were supposed to. Mango president tasted a certain way and that was not what we received.
So chilis closes at 12, I went there at 10:45 to get a drink and order food Togo , when I walked in. They told me i couldn’t order food but could get a drink but I could still order online for curb side. I walked out like why can’t I order food inside, when I could order food online . Honestly they have no management working and the employees wanted to be lazy. I work at Applebee’s and wanted something different and at Applebee’s we never lock the door or deny food service until closing time. So no excuses .
Horrible service! Had to wave our arms for her to notice us. My friends waited forever for their beers. We waited over half hour for our food. Not busy at all but waitress made sure her other tables were taken care of. It really looked as if because my friends were Hispanic that we received Horrible service.Ill not be returning to this location.
Great lunch as usual although a little slow on receiving our food order because of a shortage of staff. The waitress was cheerful and helpful but very busy and apologetic. We had good meal. There was a constant number of people coming in and going out after eating. I recommend eating here.
Waited 20 minutes for our server then waited 50 minutes for our food, a table of 4 that arrived 15 minutes after us got their food well before ours and we only had two people and very simple meals. Asked for a table at 7 didnt get out food till 8:45, asked for two 2-Go boxes and left. Got home and our burger was way cooked and non of the food was good, barely could finish a bite. Drinks were good though Service was not, waitress not friendly and very unprofessional. Still left 18% tip feel as if we shouldnt have left one though....
Honestly, I had fun here! I havent ever been to a Chilis and went with a friend due to the hi this is chilis vine as a multi year late joke. It was good. Our hostess was like lightning, definitely pulling a lot of weight because of need of staff but I thought it was clean and neat in there, drinks were good and so was the food. Enjoyable experience, tip your servers. Thanks Chili staff. :)
The staff was wonderful. We were seat at a large booth and the table was a long distant from the seat making it uncomfortable to even reach the t lable let alone reach your food. We asked to change to a table and they were kind to find a regular table. The food needs improvement. The grease needs changed it leaves an after taste in the onion petal appetizer. The salmon was over cooked by 3 minutes. It was very dry. I suspect it was precooked and then re-cooked on the grill before serving. The serving sizes were large, but I would prefer smaller more superb food to poorly cook large portions. A little attention and this could be excellent. The cleanliness of the floor need attention and the salt and pepper shakers were greasy and tacky. I wanted to use the salt and it is disgusting to handle that and then eat your food. You can tell they have not been cleaned in a very long time. I guess I learned I should bring my own and not trust that the store will clean. This is concerning with covid. I would hope the manager would be concerned as well.
Back in 2020: Good food wish ribs were bigger6/26/22:Not good.Long wait to get a table eventhough only 1/2 of the tables had people at them. Very long wait for food once order was in.Had the new Carne asada. The steak was good especially with lime drizzled over but not much of it. The beans looked, and tasted, like they had been sitting out and the rice was about as bad.I was not impressed with the food or the wait times and I would not go out of my way to visit again unless they do better.
I watched my food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes, at the curbside to go section. After patiently waiting, I decided to go inside. I had to wait another 5 minutes inside for someone to help me. Needless to say, my food was ice cold. They should change the parking signs for the curbside to go. They currently read ,Stay put, well come to you. That is certainly not the case.
Order a steak medium. Was way over cooked. My broccoli was cold. The fries everybody else got were cold. We got our bill even after a manager came over asked if he could get me another and I said Id eat it but its over cooked my broccoli is cold and fries are cold and still got charged full price. Will not go there again due to this being 3rd time with my steak and the other food. Hire people that can actually cook. For the price we paid it was the worst experience. Shouldve went to mcdonalds
Runner brought our food to the wrong table, then proceeded to run around with it the rest of it after we told her it was ours, then we had to wait another twenty minutes for the rest of our food. Maybe train your new people better, doesnt matter if shes new or not, clearly shes not ready to bring food to tables if shes bringing them to the wrong table.
It was very slow and took almost 2 hours to get in and never called us back to let us know that our table is ready but it said we were first so we had to call. it took another hour for the food to be served also missed a few things in both orders. One waiter spilled a drink almost got me wet and never cleaned it and just ignore us but on the seat and the floor but I cleaned it up. Also low on staff but I might not come back.
The blossom petals were a flop. The outside of the onion wasnt crispy and warm like youd expect. The actual onion was rather soggy and wet. The ranch was very watery and didnt look like ranch. I highly recommend their chips and salsa thought. Their salsa is the best. Little problems with drinks so that was rather good and the food came out decent.
Spent about 15 minutes standing at the front of the restaurant to even be greeted let alone be put on the wait list or seated. When tbe hostess appeared she apologized and led us to a table, then she informed us there was a problem with the oven and shes be right back. Came back to tell us the oven was broken and they had a limited menu. Okay, thats fine. Would have been nicer to know before we had been seated. Then we ordered our drinks and were carded, again fine, we are under 40. However the waitress came back to tell us that the alcohol in the desired drink was also out of stock. After the disappointing first impression and the limited menu and no jack in the house we had to get up and leave. We understand that during unexpected crisis it can be hard to gather yourself but the customer service was sub par to day the least.
This is the second time in the past four months that l have eaten at the Auburn Chili’s, the first time, we waited about an hour and a half and when our food came it was cold. The manager was very understanding and took the entree off the bill. I went to the same Chili’s today for lunch with my family and once again the food took a while to come out. I did notice that they were short handed and l took that into account. Our food finally came out and l ordered the chicken fajitas. The food looked like it was sizzling hot, it also sounded like it was sizzling hot, but when l ate some of the chicken, it was cold. I was so baffled!! I can’t understand why! Needless to say l didn’t complain since l saw they were struggling to serve the not so many people in the restaurant. I’ve eaten at many Chili’s and really never had any issues, the Chili’s in Auburn, NY, well they seem to have kitchen issues they need to resolve.
2/20/21. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Took our drink order promptly, and our food order soon after. Waitress was great and food arrived in a timely manner. My husband had quesadillas and they were great 👍 i had a combo that comes with street corn and those are soo good.
Im not sure what happened but I vow to never return to a chilis. My beer tasted old and flat, the water tasted like a pool, after an hour our food came out. I asked for the southern smokehouse burger or something of that variety, i asked for no pickles, a simple request but no. After the hour we waited my burger had pickles on it and the bottom bun was entirely green and soggy like it sat for a while. So they did comp the burger but overall was an unpleasant experience. Side note there is a difference between a good server and a hovering one.
This Chilis is mediocre at best. Have had 2 meals here and cant decide which was worse. How can you ruin a salad...leave it out, drenched in dressing until it is limp and room temperature with sliced grilled chicken also at room temperature. The shrimp tacos, again, what should have been hot was...room temperature, and what should have been cold, you guessed it..I wont be returning anytime soon.
The 1st time our group came here for dinner it was great. Steve was one of the best servers weve ever had. Food was good and we didnt have to ask for literally anything. 2nd time now(maybe 3 weeks later) its like a completely different place. The staff seems very sluggish and not motivated/happy. The food took forever and several things were missing/forgot. Food quality was just okay at best. The steak that was overcooked took 25 minutes to get replaced and everyone else was done eating. A very hit or miss place it seems.
The greater wasnt friendly. Waitress was polite but she wasnt attentive at all. I reminded her we needed our dessert to go as it was part of our meal and she brought me the check, noticed I was checking out on the kiosk said have a great night and disappeared. She never came back for me to ask again or to bring me our dessert. The restaurant wasnt very clean either.
Outstanding. I was in the area this week and stopped in for a bite to eat. I was seated immediately. I had this waitress who was very friendly and outgoing. I had a couple questions about the menu and she gave me all the info I needed. Her name was stephanie. I was beyond impressed. I work for on the border in Texas. She was one of the best waitresses I have ever had. The food and drinks were amazing Keep her around!
High praise for the curbside service we received today from this Chilis. Immediately we were greeted at the car by very friendly staff who checked us in. Our food was ready faster than the promised time and was brought out by another friendly staff member. Our order was correct and very good. Im very impressed with their service - definitely better than a lot of other curbside lately. Thank you Chilis!
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time Im sure due to 50% occupancy. The food was okay unfortunately they didnt bring our ordered guacamole until we were almost done with our tortilla chips and salsa .they did remove that from the bill without being asked. Unfortunately they were short staffed like everywhere else but they were trying hard
Went yesterday 3/6/21 to the Auburn, NY Chilis and this will be the last time we ever go to this location again or any Chilis for that matter. I ordered through the app and was told that they would bring the food out curbside between 6:57 and 7:02. I was there @ 6:45 to be on the safe side. We waited patiently and watched many other people walk in and walk out well after our pick up time. So after waiting 15 minutes past our time I walked in and inquired about our order. I was told that they were just waiting on our fajitas. I went back outside and waited longer still watching people come and go with their food. Now were at a half an hour beyond stated deliver time. I walk inside one more time since they will not come out and keep us updated. I ask again about the status of our order, and I was told, we just looked at it. I asked how it went from waiting on fajitas to we just looked at it, no reply, I then pointed that this is ridiculous and that if the order isnt done in 10 minutes were canceling the order, she offered a Managers assistance, I asked will that get my food done quicker and she said no. I said the Manager can deliver my food when its done and well discuss the problem. 15 minutes later someone I assume was the Manager delivers my food. No apologies for the long wait, nothing. I then felt the need to point out that weve been waiting for well over a half an hour for this, his answer is we got slammed, so I said well that doesnt excuse the 2 different stories I received from the inside staff, and the fact that I was told my food would be done almost 45 minutes later, he starts walking away and I said this will be the last time I ever eat at Chilis again and he said, Yeah Sorry.
I ordered take out and I was willing to excuse the food taking longer than expected due to the pandemic and an obvious large amount of customers waiting in their vehicles. However, upon opening the food less than 10 minutes after it was handed to us, all of it was completely cold and made both my wife and I sick, even after attempting to re-warm it to make it palatable. I get that they are probably short staffed right now, but I dont get how serving hot items completely cold is remotely acceptable. We wont be back.
I normally love eating here but our last visit was not good. We both ordered the smokehouse combo and the brisket was very tough. We told our waitress and her response was Im glad you enjoyed it. She never came back to our table until we were done eating and told us to order our dessert from the ziosk. She never cleared our dishes away and when we paid our bill she came back to tell us we forgot her tip. Very rude
Absolutely horrible service. We ordered food for pickup for 5 people for a special event and when we got the food home over half the food was missing and the half that we got was completely inedible. The food was cold, all the desserts were upside in their containers so they were leaking everywhere. They forgot entire meals and several sides. Steaks were ordered, one wasnt even cooked, it was raw and inedible, and the other one was extremely overcooked and a funky color. Both of them were ordered medium. Will never order from here again. Thank you for ruining somebodys celebration.
When we arrived, there were several parties waiting to be seated. We were told it would be about a 20-minute wait. I walked through the restaurant to use the restroom and discovered there were approximately 15 empty tables. Im still very confused why everyone was waiting so long. When our food arrived, our entrees arrived before our appetizers. The manager did comp us for the appetizers and the server was very friendly. The restrooms were dirty. The ziosk thing that you pay on was covered in a layer of grime. The food itself was yum.
Was not the best experience we have ever had. It took over 10 minutes just for someone to come to us after we set now. Not only did our food come out cold but there was a piece of hair in my pasta. I mentioned something to the server and she said she was sorry and left the food on the table and then brought us the check. I only took 2 bites out of my pasta. There were 3 of us that came in to eat definitely not the best experience we have ever had. The server dropped the ball she should have spoke to a manager and replaced the food but instead we had to go elsewhere to eat
Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was kind of meh. I had fajitas, and the beef wasnt cut across the grain. Flavor was great, but the meat was next to impossible to chew. The shrimp in the same dish was cold while the other meat was hot. It was OK, but Ive had better.
Always love the food and some of the staff even remember us right away and give us amazing service. The wait of 20-30 minutes wasnt really that long but there were several tables cleaned and ready for guests for example the table we were seated at was empty from the time we walked in but we still waited about 10-15 minutes which didnt make much sense to me but as always the BlackBerry presidente margaritas my husband likes were great, the food was good and was brought in great timing! Love this restaurant!
This is a restaurant youll only go to if a relative or friend gives you a gift card and even then, generally youll still need to pull out your wallet to pay the rest.Prices are high to portion and quality.Meats are not their high points, super hit or miss depending on type of meat, personal experience had a worker return a steak 3 times and finally a manager had to correct it.Other than that, its all pretty average. Dont go in with high expectations.
Friday night-started by requesting a booth for 5, there was only 1 and people were still there. We agreed to wait at the bar until it opened as the hostess said theyd been there a while and would be leaving soon. Ask bartender what the drink specials are, she names off a few buy one get one free, and we go with a b1g1f Mich Ultra Draft. Over $5 for a draft Mich Ultra? Wow. 10 minutes later, they are gone, and the waitress comes by to say it will be another 10-15 minute wait. I said, for what? The people are gone already. She said we have to clean the table. Really 10-15 minutes to clean a table? Mind you there are at least 8 open tables in the restaurant, not that busy. Finally get seated, order the bottomless chips and salsa while waiting for our friends join us. We are hungry and gobble them down and try to get the waitresss attention to order more. She is standing in the doorway with another waiter, chatting. My husband finally gets her attention and she comes over and takes the basket to get more chips. They come out quickly. Our friends arrive and order drinks. One gets a mango frozen margarita. She gets it, and says this doesnt taste like mango, its just a regular margarita. We all taste it and agree, and let the waitress know it doesnt taste like mango and the ones in the past are a little orange. She argues that it is mango, that they changed how they make them now, and they dont have an orange color like they used to. We insisted this is not mango.In the end she comped the drinks. Ok, thanks. Dinner. My husband gets a burger and fries. Fries are far from hot, someone comes by to bring something else to the table and we told her the fries are not hot. Ok, she takes them away and comes back in less than 2 minutes with more fries. Still not hot. Others at the table say their food isnt really hot either, just warm. They dont want to make a big deal of it so we finish eating and leave. No one else had been by to see how our food was either. We also noticed people waiting to be seated when there were open tables and waiters clearly not busting their butts to keep up with the tables that had and we noticed several times that the waiters were standing near the wait station outside the kitchen just standing there chatting. I have waited tables, there is always something that could be refilled or checked on. Not the norm, and not sure whats going on but I hope management takes note of these complaints. Sorely disappointed, and we certainly wont go back any time soon.
Typical Chilis restaurant - good seating, good food (even during a rush), but the last couple times Ive been there, the service didnt seem to be very good. No one was at the host stand for over 5 minutes even though people walked by (for one visit it was lunchtime and the dining area was busy) and then after sitting in the bar area the service was really slow in part because it seemed understaffed. For one visit it seemed that there was a single person taking care of the bar, making drinks, and serving the entire bar area. Hopefully the staff scheduling gets better and the host stand gets more attention because Chilis is one of the better options for food in this area.
Ine of the best Chile’s I have gone to. A lot of the time they have one waitress for the entire restaurant but they do there best and even than the wait time isn’t bad. The staff are typically all nice and helpful. Anytime I have had a issues with my food it was taken care of right away. Stay away from the bar if you want to eat in a quieter place even during the day. If you have a bad experience here it’s prolly because you were the nasty one!
Ordered take out twice in the last month. The first time we did curbside pickup. Hubby texted he was there, waited twenty minutes then ended up going to the bar where he asked why his food wasn’t brought out. It was sitting at the bar for who knows how long and the girl didn’t even apologize just said here’s your food and he left.Tonight we ordered takeout and did the pay inside option because we had a gift card. We get there and when he goes in to get the food he finds out that they gave it to another John for pickup. Has it occurred to anyone that maybe there is more than one John in Auburn so you should probably verify the LAST NAME on the order also?!? We had to wait another 20 minutes for our food to be remade (which is a long time when you have a hungry 5 year old!) When we do finally get home I notice that my food is incorrect.The service and quality have gone downhill in recent months. We used to like going to Chili’s but we’re now hesitant to go back. 👎🏻👎🏻
Had the mushroom burger with a turkey patty it was filling and amazingOnion petals were amazingWent early afternoon not real busy would have been a better rating unfortunately service sucked to long to place order and for staff to keep checking or refilling our drinks that wasnt impressed with amount of staff on, you would have thought it would be top notch service.I wont be going there again
Im always terrifically underwhelmed by these chain restaurants. While my burger was good, it was overly sloppy, served in some weird metal receptacle. I hate panning restaurants, but Chilis is so sterile and pretend hipster since the redesign. It used to feel fun and sort of rustic. Now it feels empty, minimalist and sort of silly. The staff is fine. The food is fine. But for my money, Ill always choose somewhere else.
A friendly environment that offers a wide range of Mexican based dishes for all ages. Some of the food can be spicey so be sure to check what you are ordering haha! Overall I liked the food here and the staff were very friendly too. They have great specials like the $25 for two meal, three for $10 meal, and more. Its a bargain for sure and you get a lot of food. Check this spot out if you havent before! They also have drink specials and I recommend the mango ice tea its delicious.
We normally like Chilis, but today it wasnt up to par. It was busy and we got in quickly. Waitress did her job fine, food came in a timely manner, but stone cold. Bowl of chili was cold, then came out with our entree, second time hot. All three entrees had cold french fries and one had a luke warm burger on a soggy bun. Waitress replaced all the fries and burger bun. My husband then went to the bathroom and another person in there complained their food was stone cold too. Dont think that the health department would be too happy about the bad temps and the kitchen staff should know better
It was not great first told had to wait 5 to 10 min even though there were many empty tablets. Waited decided to go to the bar. Bartender was great ordered south west egg rolls for app no flavor and over done. then soup and salad clam chowder no flavor used salt and pepper still. Salad was fine its salad. Very disappointed
Our last 2 visits have not been good experiences, about 6 months apart. Both times were during lunch hour and not busy. The service/wait was painfully slow, and its even worse when youre trying to entertain 2 kids under the age of 5. The bill was messed up at the end, some how the waitress calculated the 2 for $20 deal to be $20.79 (this is before tax). She looked as us like yeah, thats right. What she did was enter the chips at $3.79 then manually entered $17 for the main meals. We asked for the manager but was told was to busy to stop over (but did adjust the bill). Overall the place is pretty sad, and this appears to be consistent when we go in there. The food was good and orders were correct. From now on, well be taking our business else where.
We went in at 5:30 on a Friday night, immediately seated, and had great service the whole time. We were in and out within an hour. We both ordered the rib eye, and although they were overdone, it did not matter because it melted in your mouth as if it was done the way we wanted. Definitely worth it.
I went here twice before making a review about this Chilis. Both times were horrible. The only reason Im giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food does taste good. However, the staff clearly dont know what they are doing. I ordered a $15 burger just to have them bring out a totally different burger worth $9. They also forgot to give me the fries that came with it. I either get a waitress that is rude and unfriendly or I get a fresh out of high school, friendly waitress that cant get orders correct even as she is writting what Im saying along with forgetting something that comes with the order. I have to wait 1 hour because of their mess up. Do not go here. Applebees is nearby. I reccomend you go there.
Wow. Covid has done a number on the restaurant business, but chains arent doing themselves any favors either.This was by far a very abysmal experience in terms of food quality spanning the menu.The skillet queso was red, with a very meaty flavor... Its queso so there shouldve been a resemblance of cheese.The ribs; you know what Chilis one time had in their slogan? the meat was very cheap and the sauce tasted worse than Kraft BBQ sauce.Chicken crispers were not at all crisp and did not have nowhere near the batter on them they are known for.Shrimp tacos had chewy shrimp and bland flavor.Ribeye steak was about as tough as leather and just bad.Ive seen plenty of restaurants exchange food quality in lieu of expense control. It doesnt turn out well, which leads me to think that this Chilis will soon suffer the same fate as the BWW that was across the way.Sad, more job losses.
We order burgers often from here. My burgers are always great but for some reason my girlfriends burgers have gotten screwed up or its just not as good of quality. The management and staff are always great when this has happened and make it right. Definitely recommend this location and will return.
First started eating at Chilis back in the early 90s when living in Albuquerque, NM. Since moving back east, today was first time in many years eating there, and truthfully, the food was as good as I remember!! If I am ever near one, that would be a restaurant of choice!!
I have never had an issue before, but today my food was terrible. I asked for something to be left off my dish. When my food came out it wasnt left off so I asked for a new one. By the time it came out I had to leave so I asked for it to be boxed. When I got home there was foil between 2 layers of food. The bottom layer was my first order with the pieces of what I didnt want removed, but with the flavor still there. And it was burnt. The top was just a couple of the ingredients glopped together. So disappointed😞
Not the best food. Twice I have been here, one time the enchiladas were cold in the middle, and the next time one of the people I was with got bad tasting food, and got sick. The first time I did have a manager ask me if anything was wrong, and when I told him, he said I hope you dont get sick, and I hope you give us another chance. I gave them another chance, and this time, someone did get sick.
I have to come back and change my review. The food took forever to come out and when it did they got it completely wrong. When I mentioned that my burger was wrong all they did was bring me a new bun. Better then waiting 20min but not the service you should be getting.
Server Anthony was rude. We ordered an appetizer but didn’t get it then our food came and we didn’t want the appetizer and they kept saying they took care of it like they were doing us a favor. He had words with my boss and slammed the drink on the table and Ignored him the rest of the time we were there. Horrible service they need to have friendly servers.
I had some somewhat decent food but HORRIBLE service. Waitress ignored my table on a slow night. Several waitresses managed to sit 3 tables away chatting away but not once did I feel welcome or wanted as a customer. This occurred 4 months ago and Ill continue to avoid this restaurant. Applebees on Grant Ave is much better.
Meal was okay. Had to use that stupid kiosk to pay for meal, put info in it then it wouldnt finish transaction. Tried to redo locked up.manager came over still couldnt get it to work. Went to other people working there and other registers still nothing. After a half an hour finally got the bill printer out and got no discount of any kind.....very disappointed all we got was sorry. Am not impressed with there customer service.
Food was terrible, service was terrible. Our table was dirty with food crumbs from the last costumers. We ordered plain sliders for my daughter, no cheese and some kind of burgers for ourselves without their special sauce on them. Couldnt order what we wanted because they dont make any of the lunch combos on the weekend. ???? The sliders came to the table with cheese, and ours with the special sauce. Sent hers back and figure I would try the sauce instead of being a pain and sending everything back. It was disgusting and there was so much it soaked the bun to the point that the bottom bun disintegrated into wet mush. I couldnt even eat it, only took two bites. We ordered a plate of a nachos for the table as an appetizer they were so dry and over cooked they no longer had cheese on them just dry hard stuff, and 3 ring peppers, with a scoop of sour cream in the middle. Couldnt get our waiter to come back to get refills on the drinks, wich we needed to wash the nasty stuff down. So basically paid 63$ for French fries and soda.
Food was ok nothing special, what really ruined my experience was the waitress. Saw her twice when she took my order and for the bill and it wasn’t that busy, the person running the food back and forth and getting our drinks showed better waitressing skills then the waitress that was supposed to take care of us while the runner was getting yelled at by other waitresses to get there drinks. The people running the food where all over the place while the waitresses where by the bar laughing and talking definitely taking a video of it next time I’m in cause there is definitely no team work in the auburn store.
Was here for about 2 hrs today soooo many dirty tables when we came and the same ones still not cleaned off when we left. All sorts of staff walking around and continuously past the tables. Where are the managers? Ive always enjoyed this chiles but not sure Ill return there
The hostess was the only part that was bad about my visit. She tried to seat me at a half booth half chairs table when I have three kids and one of them being 1 yrs old. She didnt offer a highchair nor a booster seat. Then she forgot to tell the waitress that we were seated in her area, so I waited for over 10 minutes for the waitress.
Steve, our waiter, was AMAZING!! Attention to detail, timing, food worth and taste was spot on perfect. His recommendation for honey mustard dipping for the onion rings was Awesome! Try the mango chicken, very yummy! Thank you Chilis Auburn, NY for a perfect lunch!! Well be back!!!!
Our waitress Abby wasnt very friendly had to repeat our order twice, ordered chips and salsa, had to send the chips back because they were way to salty, asked to have ranch dressing with my meal, but when the meal was brought over, had to ask three more times before I finally got my ranch dressing, also our steak was supposed to be cooked medium-rare, but it was cooked medium-well, had to have new ones cooked, the second time it was cooked perfectly, but the manager named Karina, was absolutely wonderful!!
I live chili’s but lately everytime I order it’s getting worse and worse. Either the order is wrong or the quality is horrible. Today I ordered chicken crispers and fries and the chicken was soggy like to the point the breading was sliding off. Last time I received the complete wrong order .
Chilis new menu sucks !!! A big waste of time & money ! Food is not cooked to your asking at any time ! Dont know why they ask how you want things cooked when it Never comes out that way. Manager cares less about you when you ask why and how come your food order is incorrect. I will not ever go there again !!!
Food portions are small, french fries could fit in one hand. My burger had left grease on the plate. Probably a low grade of hamburger, poor presentation. My girlfriends chicken breast was pathetically small and served with a handful of fries, no vegetables. Chili’s used to be better then this.
I ordered chicken and waffles with a honey Chipotle glazing. I got the chicken just no waffles. I was pretty hungry so making a big ordeal wouldve made me more hungry. So I picked my battle not to bring it up. Instead Ill just make a forever public internet post about my bad experience because that stings more in the long haul.
I dont know why I torture myself by going here , probably bc its the only place in this plaza to get a drink. Always a problem here, food not ordered by wait staff, cant get a drink bc bartender is outside smoking, couldnt leave bc I couldnt pay my bill bc bartender was MIA for about 20 minutes and I had no bill to know how much $$ to leave, not worth my time anymore!!
We havent been here in a while because the last time we came the service and the food was bad Im so glad we decided to try it again because the food was amazing and our waitress Karina was absolutely amazing so attentive and had an amazing personality I highly recommend asking for her shes the best very very pleased 😊
Table not washed, took forever to get a drink when arriving, the food very slow, vegetables and rice were nearly cold, table not cleared after eating, took 20 minutes to get bill, it was wrong, sent back, then finally change came.....and it was wrong.....very poorly managed. wont go back.

2022-07-06A very nice location, easy accessible from route 20, large parking area, spottable from the road.Clean , well maintained , staffs are awesome friendly , accommodative, energetic , cooperative etc.,We are group of 12 and we had a great dining experience around their closing time for the day.Food tasted good , got we ordered and there were some suggestions based on taste for the drinks.Very friendly location, totally suggest this place.

2022-05-15When we got there we actually had a robot show us to our table, which was right next to the door, too hard for a person to do it. There were barely any other people there and yet it took over half an hour to get our food, while others that came in after had already ordered and ate half their food. Half way through my daughter ordered some fried pickles and took 20 minutes for those. Not sure what the hold up was but we were not happy.

2022-04-29Went on a Friday for date night. Steak was under cooked but food was still good,waitress was very nice, we were there at 6 and able to be seated right away. Only down fall was their robot Rita. Made for awkward dining experience, not very personable, more a distraction then anything.

2022-07-21The rewards club is great you always get free chips and salsa. Ask for the salsa to go and the chips with no salt. Just dont say some of the best Ive had and I lived in Mexico. Their 10.99 special cant be beat.Plus they have two for one drinks every night and special on margaritas

2022-03-08Food was cold, so cold that it didnt even melt cheese and while our server was good, she only took the order and showed up later after the food was there. The girl who actually bought the food and drinks didnt even speak to us and got into an argument with the people next to us who looked like were taking their elderly mother out to dinner.

The only reason Im giving a one star review for this particular experience is because the staff seated a family of 4 (no reservations, just walked in and were seated right away) after my family and I had been waiting in the waiting area for 15 minutes. We were told there would be a 5 to 10 minute wait(no problem), they had a sign that said short staff(completely understand) and after that happened right in front of us, we said Nope and left. First impressions make a mark, its a shame but were unlikely to go back to this particular Chilis again.

2021-10-03I ordered curb side pick up, which works out well for a truck driver.However I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, now I dont mind a rare steak, but this steak was essentially raw. There is no option for doneness in the ordering, but fajita meat is usually served cooked if not well done.P.s. the dish in its entirety was horrifically bland. Youd be much better suited finding a local Mexican restaurant.
