Definitely Decent & worth a try! A couple weeks ago My neighbor told me to give China Star (near Starright city) a try because their delivery service & food was better than Panda chinese restaurant (Pennsylvania ave up from Starright city) And she was DEFINITELY RIGHT! I did not experience any rudeness over the phone neither when my delivery arrived. I Received my order within 20 mins. My food was fresh & definitely taste better than Panda! I will be ordering from them again. I Hope I never get to experience the racism or rudeness other viewers have complained about. However, I will give an update review the next time I order.
Chinese Ladies working there are racists. They don’t like black people. I’m a hard working 30 year black male when my order was ready she threw the change at me. The second time I went back my wife wanted food so I went in they didn’t even want to take my order she kept taking people behind me like they didn’t see me until a older black lady say no no I’m gonna do that take his order than they had no choice how racist!!!! Would never go back in a million years

The food quality is sub par at best even on the best day. Got food poisoning before so beware. Service is never fast enough so expect close to 10 minute wait or more even if ordering something as simple as a soup. Prices are also more expensive than other chinese resturants in East Newyork area.
The food was horrible I will never order here again they didn’t follow instructions and the chicken tastes old not to mention they’re over priced never again I hope they shut this place down.
The wrost place to receive costumers service (China star) this place need to shut down and be replace with something else new and better With better costumers service nasty talking to people rude ordering over the phone they are really nasty and saying disrespectful things like are you (stupid) over the phone but I feel like if you don’t want to work in New York you need to go back to your country and stay there...or even fine another job....this is my last time that I will order food from them I will recommend no one to buy food from them..

2022-05-02I dont know why or how this place has so many bad reviews but its very suspicious. Ive been to MANY Chinese places in this city and this is one of the best. All the classic dishes are at least as good, if not better than most places. BUT... The fried chicken is the bomb! More than half their business is fried chicken. If I dont have that chicken for a month I start thinking about it all the time. Nothing fancy, just cooked in the basket in the same oil they cook fries, egg rolls and fish in - maybe thats why its so good.Maybe all these people are haters - the staff are far from racist. Probably 90% of the customers are black - and the place has been in business for like 40 years.They have problem customers for sure but they almost always straighten it out. Go to the lottery store or the liquor store on either side of them and youll often find somebody arguing. You know how it is.The woman who runs the place finally starting saying hello to me only after Id been going there maybe 10 years. Thats just the way they are - the place is always busy.

2020-10-19This is delivery service and I gotta tell you the food was fresh and delicious. Cant give you a look at the store and their service but I was so impressed with the food quality, that I had to write a out it. I have to revisit to test out the menu.

2021-09-20Over priced garbage!!!! I wanted Panda house on Conduit Blvd! But settled for this trash! The food was not fresh Broccoli was not crisp! Chicken was dam near raw! And the rice gummy!!! DONT WASTE YOUR $10 Every thing taste like that musty basement

2021-10-11Disgusting. I spent $20 here and I got “steamed” dumplings and sesame chicken. The dumplings were chewy and dry to the point that I put FIVE soy spice packets and it soaked it all up and it was still dry! The chicken was chewy the pork isn’t fresh and the broccoli was raw. Disgusting.

2020-09-12They are rude they over charged one person charged $8 for shrimp n broccoli 🥦 with white rice the other charged $9 not consistent with their pricing. When the delivery guy arrives he rudely takes what he think should be his tip. If you order more than two items they send some and want to charge again for delivering what they had shorted you before when you already pay for it.

2020-06-04Absolutely terrible. Food is below average, cheap, tastes terrible. Worst of all is the customer service. A complete joke. The ladies at the front desk are plain rude, no smile, no welcome, nothing. Cleanliness is a big issue too, if you peak into the kitchen. Never ever going back. Definitely dont recommend it to anyone.

2019-09-27Dont waste your money just go somewhere else. I dont know what is going on here, but it has gone down. The chicken had hair on it, the fries werent done, no seasoning, and nothing tasted fresh, or good. Eat at your own risk. Youve been warned! This restaurant doesnt even deserve one star.
