The food is always fine but they really need to figure out a way to give a consistent portion size. Half the the time our pickup order is the same amount of food as any other Chipotle Ive ever been to ( a lot) but the other half of the time you open the container and its like 1/4 of a normal serving. Every other restaurant and fast food place on the planet has seemed to figure this out, not sure why they have such an issue with it.
This chipotle is horrible. I feel bad for the people who work there because they obviously are not trained properly. The portions are inconsistent, they forget items you ordered or they make it way off from what you asked for. I ordered a salad with like 10 pieces of lettuce on top of a giant clump of guac and chicken. Each bite was a giant mouthful of guacamole. It was disgusting. Get your act together.
I will never eat at a chipotle restaurant ever again. They messed up my mobile order said they never received it even though I had a confirmation email and number. Then they wanted me to go through the line again or drive through line. Which by then there was several people in line. Then the girl said they wouldnt charge me, so I checked my bank and they had already charged me for the meal. I said I wanted my money back they said it would be 5 to 10 business days. They wanted me to read it off to them, so I said why dont you take a picture of my email, or even let me email it back to the store but she said that they couldnt. She finally took a picture of it and made the order. Then shorted the sides and had to go back in for them. The chips were stale. The store was dirty. The customer service was awful and I guess they dont understand the value of money. Also they couldnt do anything cause they didnt have a computer telling them.
Up to the standard of what a Chipotle should be. They were kind, quick despite the lunch rush and absolutely loaded the bowl no questions asked. This location is new and from the reviews I’ve read was struggling but seem to be turning it around. I go to a nearby college and this definitely won’t be my last time making the drive.
In my few experiences at this location this chain has a lot of work to do. I ordered via the app and tonight’s order was 40 min late. Last time 30 min late. The first order was good but lacked in volume compared to the Victor location. They forgot queso, salad dressing, and the meat portions were extremely skimpy. Some of the meat was extremely dry. The second time our “burrito” was rice and a tiny bit of meat, nothing else from the order. No black beans in any of our meals. Everything was stone cold.
1 star is generous. I have never seen a more disorganized and slow moving “fast food” restaurant. I have been to many different Chipotle’s and they are quick and the staff is friendly. I know they are new but hire more staff... there is one person behind the counter moving at a snails pace. People are standing outside in the cold. To go orders aren’t being done. The person at the cash register just stands there and stares instead of helping. I don’t know who manages this place but maybe you should be present and see how your business runs especially when they first open when you know there will be an influx of customers
Did a mobile order with my mom and it was great! went through the drive-thru to pick up the order and it was ready when I arrived. was skeptical about trying this location based on the reviews, but my mind is changed! got a steak bowl and mom got a burrito :) burrito was huge! flavors were what I was expecting. Recommend!
Gave them a second chance after waiting over an hour to pick up a drive thru order a couple weeks earlier. Decided to do a walk in this time. Waited 20 minutes in line to only see two people be served (barely). There was only one person actually operating walk in customers, and that person was constantly having to walk away to find things or ask questions. There appeared to be someone that may have been a manager, but they were definitely not doing enough action work to help get orders through. There are some serious management issues, and definitely not enough staff to support operations. Not a good impression for a brand I used to enjoy.
I’ve been to this location many times, it’s hit or miss... You can tell who is staff and who is management... apparently if you want to be management at this store the key is to go very slow, show no sense of urgency, have no true customer service skills- let alone management skills, and let your staff run around sweating to death while you either stand there on your phone, or are nowhere to be seen while there’s a line out the door. The cash register girls are always running the front and cashing people out all herself, seemingly because they are understaffed. All of their management is young and inexperienced. Get management figured out and this place would prosper.
If I could give negative stars I would. “Cilantro Lime rice” was literal a scoop of clumpy plain instant rice. NEVER when I order peppers and onions do they actually put them on. The portions they give are minuscule at best, and when asked why I was jipped on the food I PAID FOR, their response was “well were really busy”. Ordered through the app for delivery and ordered 3 soft tacos and chips and guac, paid $20+ for delivery for my 30 minute lunch break, was delivered ONE soft taco. Nothing they could do apparently. Do not go here unless you’d like to be scammed out of your money and made to feel like “it is what it is”. Maybe you shouldn’t hire delinquents to work at your restaurant because this is what happens.
Hands down the worst chipotle restaurant I have ever been to I even had to call and ask them to unlock the door at 11:04am. I will never come back. The manager has no clue how to run a business as he/she is just as clueless as the rest of the staff. Pretty bad when McDonalds is more consistent then Chipotle.
Have always loved Chipotle. This addiction to Canandaigua is exactly what Canandaigua needed! Walked in, was welcomed, served and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Food tastes great, portions are spot on and worth the price. Shortly after this location opened, every Ken and Karen were out and about so I avoided the place as we all know how it goes when something new opens up. Anyway, in the end, Im very pleased with this location, its service and quality of food. Take advantage of the online or app ordering, super convenient! This location is exactly what I expect and look forward to on my next visit.
This outlet should take the reward for the worst run Chipotle in the country. Half measures, slow service, wrong orders and disorganized. Half the people stand around watching one person serve all the food. Do not use the Chipotlane, if you do, order double what you want or you’ll get the most measly size portions of any outlet in the country - if they get your order right in the first place (50:50) and if it’s actually ready on time (50:50). Appalling management of what should be a great addition to Canandaigua.
Left tonight without picking up our order. I was told they were running at least 30 minutes behind the time the app said pickup would be available. The drivethru line, which has two entrances, is very slow and can be challenging to enter because of the dual entry points. Still have not gotten a response from the website contact about a refund. The phone number in their Google listing goes to a store in North Spokane, not Canandaigua.
They were out of everything well before closing time. While waiting for the chicken, I asked them to delay making my food to avoid it from holding up the line and sitting out uncovered. They then proceeded to make the food, which I then explained again I would rather not have this done. Then they scraped the rice from the taco shell with their hand back into the rice bucket for reuse. Glove or no glove, this is just simply unsanitary - especially given COVID.
The entire food prep area was disgusting, there was spilled food all over the serving area and it was just wiped onto the floor with the servers hand. Most of the food was less than a 1/3 full so the server was scrapping the last of the rice, chicken and guacamole (stuck to the bottom), into my bowl. All counter tops were dirty with spills and food.Server was friendly and professional however, the appearance of the serving area is less than desirable.
We went at 5:30pm one evening- the staff was rude to us and they did not even give us all the food we ordered. The food we did receive tasted as if it had been sitting all day long. I would not recommend until they work out some of their issues from being opened so recently.
I get there when it opens. Nothing is ready. I wait almost 40 mins IN LINE and the server took the person NEXT to me first. Made his order then asked me for mine like she didn’t see my standing there for 40 mins. I WAS THE FIRST PERSON IN LINE! This is the WORST location!

2022-02-13I’ve never loved going to this location because it’s always hit or miss. Tonight we ordered through the app and picked it up in the drive thu. I didn’t look at my bowl until I got home, and I was given a bowl of meat. There was about 1/5 the amount of rice, very minimal beans, and very minimal peppers. The entire bowl was meat and cheese. I called to speak with the manger of this location. After I spoke with the first employee and asked to speak to the manger, I heard the employee say “Oooo, they want to speak to the manger.” Followed by the employees laughing, as well as the manger as she was picking up the phone. I’m not sure if they thought it was on hold, but it wasn’t. The manger was apologetic and offered to re-make the bowl if I returned. Since that wasn’t an option, she wrote my name in a book that they keep at the register so next time I go I will get a free bowl. I will not be back.

2022-01-12We did go in and order for dine-in, so maybe that makes a difference since a lot of people seem to have an issue with the pickup service, but the time my husband and I went there, we were pleased with the service, the wait time, the staff AND the food! It was delicious. It didnt seem like anyone before or after us in line had to wait too long for their food from what I could tell, either. We went on a weeknight around dinner time.

2022-01-11This place is pretty hit or miss. Its a pretty slow Chipotle (compared to other Chipotle locations in bigger cities), so when they get a little bit of volume, the crew gets flustered easily.Food quality is very good at this location, so no complaints about the food. Also, they have a drive-thru - which is quite rare for Chipotle. All together a decent Chipotle location.

2022-05-17I travel extensively for work and when I purchase a meal I must have a receipt after placing an order and paying for it I was informed they had no receipt paper I asked what they could do to help me they told me nothing laughed about it this is unacceptable customer service its not the first time its happened in this store and after trying to deal with their customer support apparently the problem is more deep rooted than just locally they dont seem to care the food was okay but the service was horrible to be honest with you Moes offers just a good equality food and a better priceIts not just about what I spent I dont care about that its the fact that I need the receipt for work and I cant get one

2022-04-29I ordered a steak burrito bowl with extra steak and romaine lettuce, corn salsa. I received a bowl with no steak, no corn salsa, and spinach. Not only that I drove 45 minutes to get there.

2021-12-29My family and I always go to this one because they have been the best… except for last night. Not only did my daughter find a blonde hair in her bowl, but so did I. It wasn’t ours because we have black hair…. So that just completely ruined this place for us and honestly all of chipotle.

2022-02-11Food is high quality never left one feeling hungry usually have left overs for a second smaller meal burrito bowls are great they also have many other items to pick from in house hand made chips are some of the best Ive had have drink choices you often dont see and for those who want a beer with their Mexican food they also offer that as well

2021-10-23I have them a second chance. Or maybe it’s the third. They cannot follow a simple order. My burrito bowl was missing 3 items that were clearly defined on the aluminum top by the sticker. I got a side of queso, no idea where that came from. I love having mobile order options, but I would NOT recommend mobile order for this location. They are the worst!
