I almost always enjoy the food here, can’t complain and it’s worth the price, but what i don’t enjoy is the service. i could’ve sworn that before the pandemic the service was at least a little better. they’re always messing something up, don’t listen, go off into conversations while serving a customer and when they don’t understand what you say they just go by how they feel. the restaurant itself is dirty it’s a challenge to find a clean table to eat at and i don’t even think they have anyone cleaning during the day. if you’re not in the mood to be frustrated at the workers in exchange for some fancy mexican food, i don’t recommend coming here. honestly don’t see why they’re marked 4 stars.
Had a bowl with that new flavored chicken and it was amazing. Will try it again and again
This place is the ABSOLUTE worst chipotle I have ever been to. I have given this place many chances and every time I go something is wrong. One they took 10 min to get my change to me. Twice we had to wait 30 min for chicken. It’s always a mess. Garbages overflowing and dirty tables. The staff are extremely slow. Rice is hard sometimes. Another time we went the soda machine was broken and there was no ice. Another time someone could fold the burritos so he threw them out twice. I gave this place so many chances ! They are the WORST on ever level
Can’t give a 0 so I’ll give a 1- was just refused service by young girl at the counter for not wearing a mask. Mask mandate is up I told her that and still refused.
Smaller burrito, from a bottle to a can. Theyre skimping and Im ok with that because Im not coming back. I almost had to ask the guy behind the counter to add beans three times. This is ridiculous. Anyone planning on going here dont waste your money. Youll be given half of what you pay for.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEThis past Sunday, I ordered a small side of Rice with Onions like I always do from every other Chipotle location who charge me as sides. This location tried charging me for a full meal for just a small amount of rice and onions. I tried explaining to them I wanted sides but the short girl who was probably a supervisor had such an attitude so I just paid and left. On top of that you can clearly see the employees were even fed up with her as she barked out breaks, meals and assignments. I bet morale is very low here so they take it out on customers. I would NEVER shop here at this location again.
The food is about as good as you can get from a fast food stand point, they have a great atmosphere and they offer a more Americanized version of Mexican food.If youre looking for authentic Mexican food, I recommend Mi Pueblito in Hampton Bays which should be a 25 minute drive from here.
The lady with red hair who I assume is a manager was very rude to me and I noticed her being rude to her employees. I will never come back to this location.
If I could give the Riverhead NY location 0 stars i would!! Just waisted 20 mins because they do not have enough people working to find out they can not give me change of a $20.00 bill on a $9.00 order. This is my 3rd bad experience here and never a manager in site....very poorly run place!
They are never open till 10pm I tried to go today after work I checked the website it says they close at 10pm Im here at 8:58pm and they are closed, I dont understand how a restaurant can close an hour before they are supposed to, once in a blue moon I can understand but this is like the 5th time its happened at this location in the last few weeks
Lunch time very crowded, after 2 is a better time to go. Guacamole was great, had cheese quesadilla, yummy. Fresh salsa is great.
Love chipotle, and can really tell they are trying their best! Shout out to the employee tonight making the burritos/bowls… he was taking all the customers, and taking all the backlash because it was backed up… and they are short staffed, it’s hard, respect the people that are working!!

Very poor customer service experience with MANAGER. Rude.waiting 25 min for them to cook food. When I asked to speak to a manager 2x. she told me she was allowed to have a break.l did not ask her if she was on break. She rudely said to me do you want the food or not. I left the restaurant. Theres always an issue with picking up food here. This site is so inefficiently run. Every-time i’ve gone in the past and placed a time for pick-up, its never ready on time so today I placed my order 15 minutes so my friend could pick it up - he arrived 30 minutes after the pick-up time and they said they threw it out because they were calling my name for an hour which is no way true. Why would you even throw out food that’s already paid for? I’ve never had issues with other chipotle this one is always understaffed and a mess.
If I Could give zero stars I would , I was there on Sunday this weekend in the afternoon . Once we entered the tables we dirty , long line waited 30 min to get our food the guy that was serving the food literally was so slow to wrap a burrito and serve the food .Plus the portions were so small . Then the rice was undercooked, the steak had absolutely not flavor, the guacamole had a piece of carrot inside . I don’t recommend anyone going to this chipotle. (the lady behind us had place a mobile order and they still took long time ) definitely not going back there is better food to eat down the road .
Literally the worst chipotle I have ever been too.
This Chipotle is sub par and terribly skimpy on proportions. A tea spoon of guac isnt worth the extra price you pay when other locations lather on the good stuff. They were out of sour cream, forks, ice, and all iced teas. Chose another chipotle to get your proper proportions!
Burrito was delicious,just as I ordered it. I ordered online for pick up in the restaurant,was told to be there at 7:45,I ended up waiting until 8:10. System needs a little fine tuning.

Awful experience at their stores. All the employees wanna do is go home, so don’t even bother going later in the day. They stop making stuff so they can be out the door ASAP.
Please don’t use old lettuce. It was brown and when I asked the person in line they said it was normal it’s cold and it’s ok and it’s just from the air. This place is good but please don’t use old lettuce just use a new batch it will be better for you and the customer. 10/5/20
Coming from a Mexican food fanatic, Chipotle is the place to go to get an amazing meal! They have on time services, delivery and pickup. The food tastes so fresh and you feel so healthy after eating it. I think they have THE BEST guacamole to exist. If you go there I would suggest getting a burrito or salad bowl. They taste exquisite! If you have never tried chipotle, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO TRY IT!!!
I enjoy food. But dont enjoy when they scrape the bottom of the seving dish into my plate. Happened too many times with cauliflower rice and peppers and onions 🤨😬

Horrible experience. This is not the first time. Staff is extremely rude, no ingredients, no salad dressing for salads. Staff does not listen to requests, just plops whatever ingredient they decide. I will be emailing corporate. Horrible.
This chipotle is very understaffed, has an obnoxious manager, and cross contamination happening in the kitchen. All the tables had left over food on them, ice machine had no ice and my quesadilla wasn’t even cut. Do not go here, worst chipotle ever.
Surprisingly very tasty food from a fast food Mexican restaurant. Limited dine-in options but most people are taking out their orders anyway.Got the Carnita Soft Tacos and Grilled Chicken Burrito. Lots of meat and other ingredients inside. Also generous amounts of sour cream, pinto beans and hot sauce. Wow!! Im hooked!

Twice in the past week have they run out of essential menu items. Very first chiptole to not serve the rice with cilantro either. Horribly under seasoned is an understatement. The staff is great, but please for chiptole sake serve the stuff people come for...

We love this Chipotle. We come once a week. The customer service is great and the food is just like one would expect at Chipotle. However... the last four times, they ran out of something important on the menu during prime weekend dinner hours. First was ice. No big deal. Second was gauc. Third was chips and guac. Most recently was chicken, corn, and guac. For the first time ever as a Chipotle fan, we went elsewhere for dinner. We hope this isn’t a regular occurrence.

Well I ate here. The workers there were great - but the location is terrible. I cant believe someone thought a car dealership was a good spot for a restaurant... and the kitchen just looks inadequate for making food thats why the food was far, far below Chipotle standards and hardly eatable.
Don’t use old expired food I got food from here and few hours went by and I felt something bad I threw up twice constantly went to the bathroom it was bad never eating here. But there soda hits different
The open kitchen was a nice touch cause I could se and smell them making more steak which smelt and tasted wonderful straight of the grill. Also the cashier and food makers w ed re very nice and generous

As soon as we walked in, we saw that everything was dirty. Tables were dirty, and the person who was cleaning the tables used a dirty rag with an AWFUL smell that ruined our appetite. It makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is.
Placed a mobile order during the busy time of about 6pm and still had to wait about 15 minutes passed the scheduled pick up time. Food was very delicious as always.
I always come here and the people act like they dont want to serve you. The never have guac and wont go out of there way to make some to keep customer satisfied. If you guys dont have guac for several days for whatever reason at least put a sign. The food taste different all the time it should taste the same

Very busy at 6 pm. The customer service was great a good cohesive group getting the jump down and serving with s smile. This us a great option with out eating too poorly.
My daughter sent my wife and I dinner.. my wife ordered 3 hard tacos and nachos with gaucomole. Whenit arrived the 3 tacos were soft and it looked like they thrown into the foil and then roughly wrapped up. They also ran out of nachos and gaucomole and cancelled it. How can they change an order without even asking, before doing it. What a disappointment this experience was, I will think twice before going back again
Whole place is a mess; bathroom has mildew in it; sauce station is disgusting; the skimp out with all the ingredients; they ran out of guacamole somehow... The kicker. Charged me for too✌️ love Chipotle just not this one
The two wonderful women who made my burrito greeted me when I walked in and were super helpful, fast, and so polite. Thanks for making my lunch break so pleasant and relaxing.. I was so hungry!! Worst service ever made an online order to be picked up at 8pm, it is now 9pm and as till no order. Asked if I could get a refund I have to jump through hoops to try to get a refund from customer service. Will never order from here again.

The Staff is very friendly and attentive, But The Food Is Often Under cooked, I have been a customer of chipotle for ten + years , and the Barbacoa Meat is my favorite by far. This location DO NOT Get the Beef Barbacoa, I Recently Gotten extremely sick after eating this at the Riverhead Location. It is really upsetting to see the standards of chipotle throw away like a cheap sweater, and Food that looks like it came out of a trash can.

Excellent staff. I always go late at night, and the food is still fresh and in stock. Portions are generous, its very clean, and the workers always have a smile on their face.

Friendly teen staff ... but they need to remember the job they are there to do. Seeing a layer of dust, scraps of lettuce and cheese on the floor and tables didnt do much for the appetite. My companion noticed one of the cooks from the kitchen come around the meat with a spoon, take a scoop and gobble it down. Not what you want to see while eating out at a restaurant.
Terrible, we go here often but today everything was bland, the chicken tasted like it was boiled without seasoning. We wont be returning here anytime soon. Patchogue isnt far from us.
Higher end fast food / chain Mexican food. Menu is a little limited vs a authentic Mexican restaurant. The location in Riverhead that this review is based on was clean, modern, and the staff were friendly.
Ive been an avid fan of Chipotle since I was in high school (class of 09) but this location has me doing a complete 180. The food is trash. The chips are ALWAYS stale. The rice is often under-cooked. Last but not least, I got food poisoning from a serving of their barbacoa. Never again.
Food was cold. My chicken was cold. Some of the food trays were empty and no fresh food making its way out anytime soon.

Its Chipotle, not a kid to elaborate. Its in a busy shipping area, vegan options. Bathroom and dining area are always clean considering how busy they can get.
Im a new convert. Love how the interesting are simple and fresh. Was very easy to place order online and just pick it up. Place looks nice and modern and parking was easy.
I tried the Keto bowl and it was disgusting. I will not be returning. The employees have no knowledge of what belongs on a keto salad. It just wasnt good at all.
Compared to other chipotles this is the best one that I have been to. Managers are courteous and so are the workers. The prices are the usesh but I get what I pay for, I have been to other locations where they skimp out on rice etc.

Quite possibly the best burrito I have ever eaten. And I have had a lot of burritos. The staff is very nice and the food is very fresh and tasty. I look forward to dining here when I am in Riverhead.

Every time I order online they always mess up the food or forget to add on a customization. Staff is super friendly and will fix it, but it does stop me from ordering here.
Went here once, a month after there was a data breach. For my time there, they lacked any vegan/good vegetarian options for burritos. No tofu is a major downside, and is why Id recommend Moes Southwest Grill just 7 minutes up the road for much larger burritos with friendly employees.
Usually stop on my way to work on the weekends and the food is always good and service is also !

2022-04-22More expensive than I thought, but then saw that guacamole ($5.00 each) and queso (?) cost extra.All in all, pretty good. This was the first time we have ever visited Chipotle. Staff was very friendly and answered all of questions without seeming annoyed. Food was fresh and the correct temp (hot or cold). Portions were plentiful too.

2022-05-15Found some unusual thick slimey fluid in the queso, looked & felt & stuck together like snot apart from the regular queso cheese dip. They are not practicing safe and clean work habits here. Check your food.

2022-02-17Avoid this place. They have a mask policy even though the indoor mandate was lifted. You can stand in line without a mask but once you reach the counter you will not be able to place an order. Employees werent wearing masks covering their nose, a few feet behind you no one in the dining room is masked up. Moes is far better.

You’re made to wait in line and then when it’s your turn to order they kick you out. As you’re being kicked out they tell you, you can order online and come back in (without a mask), to pick up. Must be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I left without incident, but don’t even think about questioning them, or they make a huge scene in front of the entire establishment (which they did you the man with his two daughters in line behind me). Starting to make more and more sense why these places aren’t nearly as busy anymore. Awful food, awful customer service and idiotic policies. I don’t know how anyone with common sense could work there.

2022-02-09Customer service does not exist here. Neither does consistent food quality and portions. If the person at the counter is in a bad mood, youll get the equivalent of a teaspoon of protein in your order. I will not be wasting my time here again

2022-02-17Avoid this Chipotle if you can! The manager Jillian is terrible! Absolutelyzero customer service skills! No name tag on so I dont know if shes actually the manager. The cold food is absolutely terrible!

2019-01-15This Chipotle location is great. They just opened up a few days ago, so everything is nice and clean. I ordered my usual sofritas burrito bowl, and everything was fresh and delicious. It has everything you know and love from other locations. Next time I go back, I plan on getting the burrito with a side of chips, which I love very much.
