Chipotle Mexican Grill in other cities:
The brisket was good, but the rest of the meal was too spicy and I hate spicy. Everything tasted spicy. The black beans, the brown rice, the veges. And i did ask. And the taste left in my mouth, well, need gum. Waste of over$12. The utensils were left out by the frick dispenser which means everyone puts their hands on them to take.Only one cashier who had a long conversation with a customer who left with nothing, I think she was complaining about her bill, felt like 5 minutes and held everyone up. Manager should have noticed. First and last time.Where is that gum?
Horrible cold food ! They always use massive amounts of salt which really is very serious and can actually make people sick or even die . There is noNeed to put all that salt in all that food there !!!! I will have to contact the health department that’s how bad it is !!!!! This location is awful
I would really like to understand the business logic behind putting away all the food on the main prep line and posting a sign that says Online orders only on a busy Friday night when your location is right next to a gym. Then proceeding to have your store crowded with 35 people, plus online orders, that all have +30 minute order wait times from when they are supposed to be picked up. All this while one poor worker tries to make everyones food because the takeout prep station is only big enough for him as everyone else stands around does busy work.
Came into the store and was denied service because they didnt like my face covering. I asked if they had masks in the back and was told to go find a mask somewhere, otherwise i wont be served. I went outside to check the notice on the door about face coverings. If you require visitors to wear a mask only, you need to change the text. My face was covered as i had a face covering. Was going to leave 1 star, but the manager eventually came out with a mask and i got served. Funny thing the mask she gave me is the same material as the face covering i had.Absurd.
Terrible staff I love Chipotle the brand but the staff here are awful. I always wait 20 minutes plus past my designated time for online orders and the order is wrong 90% of the time. Two days ago I ordered a bowl with brisket and they told me to wait an extra 35 minutes for my bowl to have brisket and when I came home and opened my bowl had no protein at all just rice and some toppings which were wrong. Today I ordered a bowl with double brisket and on top of waiting an extra 30 minutes again for brisket, they gave me carnitas instead which I dislike. I love chipotle and try to eat it as much as possible but the staff here are so bad and disorganized it makes me hate chipotle. Also, whenever I order double protein on mobile app I always just get single. Something needs to change at this chipotle location it’s by far the worst run one I’ve ever been to.
I am a college student and working hard as a delivery driver to pay my college tuition; I am making this review hopefully reaches the manager. It happened twice in the evening shift that I received orders and went to pick them up and didnt find them, the first time I asked the lady, she told me, somebody must have taken it by mistake. When it happened again, I asked her, she said ( do you see it? I said no, she said ok, so its not ready yet(in a sarcastic way), I waited for 15 minutes, and nothing, so I had to cancel the orders( both orders, which made me lose money too), I hope that doesnt happen to other drivers because it makes them lose customers as well. Please note that all mistakes occur in the night shift; I never had these issues with any restaurant except for this one.
This location has the worst service and quality of food available. The lines are always long and the people here like to pretend that you do not exist (A few times, they made eye contact seeing I was waiting to order and walked away, they talk among themselves, they are on their phone, they give you attitude).During COVID, they had everyone line up near the section to prepare mobile and takeout orders. This always causes chaos and people are squeezed into an already small spot. I have no idea why they dont use the bigger section and allow people to walk down the line to pick out their food. And you also have to pick up your app/mobile/delivery order in the same section people are ordering. People who ordered in advance always try to jump the line to get their order because this location never uses the section to place completed orders. They are also very stingy with portions with this location and a few times, the food looked very unappetizing, i.e. cold lumpy white rice that pasted together like a rice ball. There has never been a time where I actually didnt regret ordering from this location. They never get a single order right, the food is sub-par, they are rude as hell, and the portions sizes are smaller compared to other locations.
Yesterday Wednesday 15th I went to this location to pick up an order. I was waiting for 45 min and all I got was “it’s not done yet” many times from the lady that was giving the orders to the customers. She was so mean not only to me, to other kids as well. After 45 minutes waiting, I asked again for my order to the same lady and she said “that order is gone, do I have to remake it?” In a rude way, like if it was my fault that the order was gone for not having control of them. They leave the orders so people take them, it isn’t supposed to be like that. You guys have to have control of it, not customers. Thank you.
They refused to serve me because I didnt have the app and my phone was dead. How insane. Whatever, you wont ever be getting my business, then. Take it elsewhere, folks; try some amazing local Mexican food like Yummy Taco, El Patron, or that place on New Drop Lane instead of this place.
I can’t even believe the experience I had here today, I got a sofritas burrito and the kid was probably new so I felt kind of bad but he didn’t even give me half a spoon of any food in my burrito. I wish I was exaggerating or kidding he probably gave me like 10 grains of rice, beans, and barely half a spoon of sofritas. I kept looking at my friend and looking back at the server wondering if it was a joke but it wasn’t and then he proceeded to roll the worst roll I’ve ever seen. Literally looked like a pencil. I never had service like this before, seriously train your workers properly he clearly was anxious and not ready to be on the line yet..and when my boyfriend went in to complain about it I was told that it was because “I ordered sofritas” that I was given the portion size of a 2 year old. The cashier was rude and miserable. I have never had this happen before at this chipotle or any chipotle, if anything when you get sofritas they give you way more stuff to be more filling because it’s tofu. There are so many things wrong with this chipotle I’ll never spend a cent here again, my prayers go out to these workers brains seriously.
When Chipotle first opened on Hylan Boulevard, I was admittedly intimidated to eat there by its pristine reputation from being a stalwart establishment of the big City. Their entry into Staten Islands community instantly gave our local culture some hipper credentials. Could this mean that Chipotle finally put our borough on the map? The answer after sampling their fare: an emphatic YES. Never before has an eatery mastered the culinary art of Tex-Mex in such a spirited and delightful way; maybe the early iteration of Taco Bell before they became too corporate.I wouldve given five stars except for their outlandish price of apple juice. Apples grow on trees, not my money.
WORST CHIPOTLE EVER! i’ve had so many bad experiences but this time I ordered grubhub and it gave me this location. i ordered a bowl with steak rice cheese guacamole salsa literally everything extra that i of course was charged for. i received a bowl with just steak and rice. disgusting
I had two very different experiences at the very same location within a three day time frame. The time frame pays homage to the EXCELLENT Service I received on my first visit, Sunday early eve. after a great day spent at the Beach and that should paint the picture for those who love ambience + tranquility! But really, who doesnt desire that? Well, after much time given to where to have dinner(the perfect day doesnt include me ending it perched over a stove top cooking especially when were a couple and only us for me to cook for),thats emphatically expressed in a loving manner of course, We chose Chipotle! Why there? Well in a Burrito I can get a full days amount of everything my body is supposed to have as suggested by the Internet, and they dont lie about such things as Health?!?! BTW: Im a 55yr.old True Blonde w/ natural Silver Streaked Hair which gets more stunning by the day, Im not an air-head for those who mightve started to worry. But Chipotle is a GREAT OPTION TO CHOOSE FROM and Ive never been disappointed, that is until that third day, Wednesday! That Dreaded Wednesday! Nothing was as it was on my previous visit and I find that so hard to fathom. Not to mention the addl expense I incurred based upon my EXPECTATIONS in which I even overlooked my own rule of no expectations,no disappointments motto! Its a good one to live by and I apply it to all Food Services regardless of it being Four Stars to a Wishing on a Star Eatery and no one is exempt.I typically enjoy them all. But,it was the Employees at Chipotle that ruined the overall outcome with their ability to be Ignorant in a very ( I hope to be) Skilled Blissful Manner shared by all Staff from start to finish. I had to repeat my burrito choices many times which included having to reiterate what I didnt ask for etc. Asking for a FORK was not an easy or enjoyable task for those who get the gist, with my having a Southern Accent it can alter my words and in this instance aFORKcan be humiliating and Im sure that anyone like myself born in South Brooklyn and replanted onto Staten Island in 1971 at age 7 way before it was the popular thing to do will undoubtedly understand the embarrassment I endured on that Wednesday. The Sunday prior was exceptional, the Staff were enthusiastic and eager to suggest some combinations I wouldnt have considered, but they worked, they werent in a rush to rush me out, they made the online offers available to everyone behind me waiting to order but like I said, they didnt push me and I know enough to cut to the chase and hope for the best in lieu of my choice of ingredients. I wish I knew the names of the two young Men that were more than adequate, which reflected on the other Staff and the whole operation was met with expectations I didnt even know I held at that high of a level. I will go back to see if either of the them are working and indirectly get the name of the other as well in case hes not working without raising any Flags or cause for Concern by any implied Stranger Danger. I am afterall the Mother of a 24yr.old Son and the most Beautiful little 11yr. Old in the World! She is my Favorite but its no secret to the Son, lol. She stole my Heart from the moment I became her Mommy and has been a repeat offender everyday thats passed since I was BLESSED with my BUBALAH whom Ive named CHANEL. For the Perfection that defines her,and for being Priceless, not to be PRETENTIOUS. She wouldnt stay in her Big Bag to carry Her in, plus all the Unconditional Love which gets heavy after 11yrs. Lol.So Ive been carrying her in my arms and I would only Dare to Compare her to the one other object I would want on my arm all day, everyday, and that would be a Chanel.Theres no better so why not give My LilGirl, the name of the Best of the Best, hence my Maltese,CHANEL. She was always the only Chanel to hang on my arm all these loving years and will be until I buy a Stroller(Soon). So While Chipotles Food wasnt an issue,The Staff needs to be overhauled.IGNORANCE was on their Menu and BLISS was the Welcome Mat.
There is a parking lot attached to this strip mall so off street parking is available. By my count there were over ten people behind the counter working, but the line did not move as well as most other Chipotle restaurants I have visited. I would say it is because this is a new location, but I saw too many things that would indicate otherwise: staff members on cell phones, staff members have a few tortilla chips while standing idle and staff members talking casually amongst each other with no regard for the line that went to the door. When I did make it to the counter the staff was pleasant and friendly. My order was prepared to my liking. There was a staff member cleaning tables and sweeping the dining room. The dining area was well maintained on this day. I enjoyed my food enough to take one to go for my significant other as she enjoys this type of cuisine. Probably be back for the food, but not the service.
Literally the slowest Chipotle location I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to dozens over the years. It took an hour to receive my food from when I ordered online. Fast food that takes an hour to make?! Completely ridiculous. Management should be fired for their incompetence as well as the incompetence of the employees that work there.
The staff here are always polite and attentive. Extremely efficient and well-managed group. They always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.Food is always consistent and delicious. Seating area and food prep area is very clean. Always a pleasure to stop by this Chipotle
Talk about upsetting, I ordered this food for dinner working as an icu nurse during the pandemic. I get one break to enjoy food and now I don’t even want to eat it. The bowl plain and simple looks like dog food, I don’t even want to eat it that’s how unappetizing it is. We will never order from here again.
It was really rather weird to see a Chipotle rated and recommended so negatively, especially since this was the first one that opened on the island (now soon to be followed by a second location at the mall). Ive never really had any major problems across my many visits here. Meat was always cooked well, and the overall standard was up to par with the many Chipotle locations throughout the city and in New Jersey. Improvements have clearly been made, as the rating for it now is much more positive than it initially was. Greatly looking forward to the second location.
Service is always great, and the food is fantastic, of course. Although, I do find that they are occasionally low on hot sauce over in the silverware and condiment area. Cleanliness, I have found, depends on the staff and shift. Later in the day is expectantly dirtier, but sometimes its a bit more than end of shift normal clutter.
This was my worst experience at any Chipotle ever. They first of all got my orders wrong for all three things I ordered, which were a burrito and 2 bowls. They mixed the ingredients of one bowl with the burrito and swapped them (I didn’t pay them money to do that) and they added salsa (never once said I wanted Salsa) and sour cream (another thing I did NOT ask for). They put salsa in TWO of my orders. They try to manipulate their customers by putting metal lids, so you won’t know your order is wrong till it’s too late. And, they didn’t make the food warm enough, which in some places, is a health code violation. I am never coming here again.
EDIT: Worst Chipotle. They skimp so hard on the portions here, theyve all been trained to do that. I get double chicken all the time. Its not like Im getting it for free but their scoops are so measly. I even told a girl once and she proceeded to add on one more tiny piece of chicken. Couldnt believe she did that like, what are you serious!?OLD:Clean, friendly staff and delicious food. Theres one old lady here that is super stingy on the portions. That is the only reason I knocked off one star. All other staff have not been frugal with the portion sizes based on my experience.
Guys! dont come here ever again! look at these photos and it will become clear in no time! this is a terrible place! they work in disposable gloves touch your food with these gloves then go to the refrigerator touch the handles of the refrigerator touch dirty cardboard bags and then come back again to serve you food! this is an awesome place!
Well I love Chipotle in general but lets talk about this specific one. I havent really had any issues besides proportions...you have specify how you like your burritos. I like less rice and more beans and meat, extra cheese and sour cream. Just pay attention and vocalize how you like your stuff and itll be perfect. Customer service is great and the margaritas are yummy :)
Terrible! Avoid this place like covid. I don’t know why people that don’t like to work chose to work in fast food. The people in this establishment are so incompetent. All you have to do is fill a bowl or a tortilla with food in it and even that they can’t do. Fire them all and start fresh Chipotle!
Love the food, but my order is often mixed up and is often missing ingredients such as the fajita veggies in the veggie bowl. Please double check the order before delivering it to customers, as a majority are already limited in what they can order, whether kosher or vegan.
Good food and friendly staff. If ordering take out they don’t offer sauces to go. You will have to load your lunch with sauces before you go, however, it gets soggy before you eat it. I’d suggest Moe’s couple blocks away. Moe’s have little plastic cups for takeout and good variety of sauces.
This one on hylan is horrible. It’s like they never have enough workers so they are never able to serve you. You walk through their doors get in line and they LITERALLY ALWAYS TELL YOU TO ORDER ONLINE THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE YOUR ORDER IN TJTHE STORE NOR YOUR PAYMENT. I suggest PEOPLE STOP GOING TO THAT LOCATION.
Don’t think I’ll be back to CMG for quite a while. Seems as though the stock price has more than doubled since Ecoli outbreak, but portions have diminished significantly. I never really liked the idea of paying $10 for a bowl or huge burrito, but now? It seems a meager portion for that kind of cash. The staff is very pleasant, the food is very good, and maybe millennials don’t mind paying $10 for rice and beans with a few strips of beef or 2 ounces of chicken, and less than 1 leaf of romaine lettuce, but it’s too rich for my pocket. I’ll make it at home for less than $2!
Think its my last time here. Watched the girl making my burrito take the smallest little tong full of meat. Shake as much off as she could. If there was 2 ounces of meat that was alot.i asked for more and got a dirty look and about half an ounce more. Ten bucks? No way. Keep your rice for that price!
Its a Chipotle, theyre all pretty much the same but this one is relatively new to Staten Island. In my experience, they dont give you as much meat as other chains but its not that big of a deal because its usually cooked to perfection. Also, staff are a hit or miss when it comes to service/friendliness which I guess I can understand, working in food service can be stressful at times.Either way, its the only Chipotle on the island and the food is always good.
Decided to try online ordering for 1st time but didnt turn out like requested. Kids quesadilla came with chicken on side and my burrito was missing its burrito and was just ingredients in a bowl. I will stick with order in store from now on. Food is good, ingredients are fresh just about execution and appearance. I dont enjoy eating a burrito falling apart, and making a mess, or A missing tortilla or filling my own quesadilla.
I went in to order my lunch and told them what I wanted. It was the special advertised and what it comes with, but when I told her, she said what do you want on it, how do you want it? Im like I want exactly what it says, why are you asking. In other words the employees are not knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good and the place is clean.
-------- EDIT: I believe they started listening the customers and reading online reviews. Portion sizes have improved and you dont get lectured on dietary facts when you ask that the portion they served is small. Prices are still higher than other chipotles though. Customer service has improved as well. Changing rating from 2 to 4 stars.----------The food is amazingly tasty however they are extremely stingy on portions. When you ask for a double steak they give you what would be considered regular in any other Chipotle. And when you ask them about it, you get lectured on dietary facts and how much exactly Chipotles portions should weigh and all. I tried this three times to see if it was just that employee but no every single employee in here gives you the same lecture... I believe they were told by the management to give this response when asked about the sizes of their portions. When you tell them that no Chipotle serves this small, they tell you right out that those Chipotles not following instructions then. Well they should really think why other Chipotles are doing what they are doing. Also the prices in this Chipotle are very high. Islanders used to go to NJ to eat Chipotle and pay a hefty toll. We were all very happy to see that we wouldnt have to pay extra toll now that they opened. Well unfortunately they add the cost of the bridge to your order with their ridiculously high prices...I still have hope for this place. But if they continue with what they have been doing, they wont last long. When they first opened they had long lines, now the place is mostly empty and islanders are rather going to their regular Chipotles in NJ or Brooklyn...
Im not sure why there are some low stars, but I came here around 1:00 PM during my lunch hour at work. Service is very fast considering it is lunch time and probably the most hectic hours. You see a long line when you get in, but honestly as long as everyone knows what theyre going to order... the line goes by smoothly. So know what you are here for (Hint: huge Burrito lol).
The new place that I went today at Chipotle was excellent. The quality of chicken quesadilla was very fresh and it taste delicious. The chips with cheese sauce is yummy. Over there in my school at CSI (College of Staten Island) the quality for food like chicken quesadilla it was too bland and it’s small and very expensive. This chicken quesadilla at Chipotle it is bigger. The workers at Chipotle treated me excellent and they speak English that’s what it should be with no Mexican people speaking Spanish. In the future I could go back to Chipotle again and eat their for lunch next time.
The food served here is identical to any you will find at any Chipotle in the city. If thats your thing, as it is for me, then you wont be disappointed here. During my visit the staff were especially nice so I have zero clue why this particularly location has been poorly reviewed.
I sent my oldest son and two younger daughters to pick up lunch today.Upon his return, I knew immediately something was wrong. Evidently, a young girl with green hair and a very nasty attitude was one of the people who prepared his food. Not only was she condescending but she was extremely rude/nasty. He asked for my lunch to be prepared a certain way and her answer was a very nasty harsh response wrong resturant. My son is a gentleman to a fault. Rather than complain, he accepted her treatment and continued on his way. When I opened my bowl to discover a quarter cup of lettuce, a few pieces of tomato and a tablespoon of grilled chicken. The whole bowl probably equaled a cup of food all for 8 dollars and change. A total RIP OFF.Needless to say, I was incensed and took the 15 minute ride back to Chipotle to complain. I asked for a manager; what a mistske that was. Manager was just as condescending/unprofessional as the help. Granted I was compensated with a full bowl but i didnt appreciate the attitude so unnecessary. If you dont like your job and do not like people, get ANOTHER job.STAY AWAY...GO TO MOES INSTEAD - WHERE THE STAFF IS WELCOMING/RESPECTFUL!!!!
Although Chipotles Food Is Great. I Wouldnt Chance Eating At This Chipotle Ever Again. Not Sure Why They Were Rated A! But The Staff There Are Unsanitary! Employees Are Not Friendly! On August 07 2018 Around 5pm. Went To Chipotles. Ordered Me A Burrito, Poorly Made!A Bottle Top Of One Of Their Hot Sauce Bottles Fell Onto The Dirty Ground! I kindly Picked It up, and Proceed to Ask A Staff Member To Please Rinse It Off Before I Would Put It Back On.To My Disgust The Chipolte Employee Refused To Wash Off Their Own Chipotle Sauce Bottle Top! I Stood There In Shock!I Had To Reiterate, This Is Your Top! Which Belongs To One Of Your Bottles! That Was On The Floor! Same Response He Refused! He Stood Seconds and I Mean Seconds! Next To The Sink, Close To The Counter Where You Order Your Food and Again A Third Time He Refused! Seconds Later A Tall Woman Who Prepared My Burrito Gave Him A Head Nod And Mumbled Just Do it! Like as If They Were Doing Me A FAVOR!!! The Spanish guy with Glasses Finally grabs the top and Cleanes it With An Attidude! Smh!I Was So Disgusted! I Couldnt Even Continue Eating My Food! I Figured If They Are That Nasty To Refuse To Clean The Top Off Of Their Own Item That Fell On The Floor.. Imagine How They Handle & Prepare The Food Over There! I Packed My Food & After A Few Blocks I Threw My $10.00 Burrito Away! Thanks but No Thanks Chipotle!(If They Review Their Cameras Theyll Clearly See Everything!)
Where to begin. JUST STARTING OFF WITH A BIG NO FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANNA READ A LONG REVIEW BUT, for your sake just dont go to this chipotle. Throwing your 9 dollars in a trash can would be a more effective use of your money than getting a burrito at this location.Someone contact guinesse because Im sure its a record for the most people working in an establishment without the slightest clue how do to scoop something into a tortilla. There was absolutely no communication between those in the kitchen and those handing the food, so a lot of the things were running out without being refilled. The workers would tell eachother they were almost out of a certain ingredient, but not the kitchen workers. Big problem. This is probably why I got barely any rice or beans.Main issue is the slowness and seemingly lack of any type of awareness to anything going on. The worker doing my salsa and sour cream didnt know which salsas are which (there are only three) and almost gave me three full scoops of sour cream(the most of any ingredient I had received combined). Now to the issue that put the nail in this chipotle coffin.... The burrito wrapper. If you want to go to this chipotle so badly that you cannot be persuaded otherwise, go in with the expectation that youre burrito will not be folded. At all. The girl used two.... TWO tortillas on not just my order, but my boyfriends, even though There was barely anything even in my burrito to require one to be insufficient! I had a very hard time wrapping (too emotionally shattered for that pun to be intended) my head around it and just starred at my food for ten minutes before j tried to eat it. Instantly it came undone and fell into my basket, along with my tears. Mixing around my food there was NOTHING but lettuce and sour cream.10/10 doctors advice you to stay away from this location If you care about your emotional stability or blood pressure (probably).
I love chipotle, but this one.....I had basically nothing but rice and lettuce in my chicken bowl. Funny how ever other chipotle has matching portion sizes, but this one some how messed it up so bad. I threw it away... Nasty... Skimp chicken and beans, just a bowl of rice and lettuce basically.
They close at 10pm and I went inside to place an order and they told me I couldn’t that I would have to order on the app for pick up. I really don’t get what’s the difference of me ordering right there and ordering on the app when they have to make my food regardless of how I order.
While online i directly observed a worker brushing off the bottom of his shoe with his fingers. He then started to prepared food for the customers that were online. He didnt wash his hands as the policy states every worker should do. I told one of his coworker to tell him to go wash his hands but he contine to handle the food. Nasty ass worker.
This one star dont count had to give it just to post First just go to 86st everything is better there But Babyyyy Soooo this Chipotle on hylan blvd is so not worth it one lite scoop of rice i had to ask for more and im slim lite half scoop of meat had to ask for more smh my bowl was so empty what a fxxxing waste of time, money and a od craving so disappointing but that is staten island for you they ruin everything definitely on the hylan blvd side whomever the owner is should be ashamed really just taking up space dont waste your money even my daughter three tacos are empty smh
This is the worst Chipotle Ever they have no quality control over the food ....one time you go the chicken is not seasoned good the next time the rice is under cook and ordering from the app forget about it they will almost always mess up your order.... these employees need yo be retrained.....literally the worst!!!!

2022-03-31Food was fresh and the associates were moving the food line expeditiously. The price of the food was affordable and I will go again. I left out a star due to the tables not recieving the same attention as the food. Overall a good experience.

2021-10-06The staff is awful. Without fail everytime I order something from this location something is wrong with the order. I got a bowl with no meat just rice and vegetables 2 days ago. I have no idea how something like that goes unnoticed. And today they didn’t include extra chicken I paid for. Needs to be a serious staff enhancement or training. Posted a picture of my bowl of just rice and veggies lol.

2021-08-15The Chipotle Mexican grill is a good place for tasty food. The restaurant has burritos bowls, burritos, tacos and salads. I went with my family and ordered Vegan bowl. All the food and ingredients were looking fresh. Some members enjoyed keto salad bowl with chicken. The staff is friendly at Hylan Boulevard Staten island. I recommend this place.

2022-05-06I ordered take-out, 30 minutes later, I waited another hour at the store and it wasnt ready. It was very unprofessional and a very bad experience to see that the waiters were only preparing the ingredients when they were busy. Other customers who order on the spot are faster than mine, so whats the point of my ordering? Servers are very slow. The management is chaotic and the experience is bad.

2022-03-30Wanted to order online. I knew that I had 1450 points. When I opened the app it turned out that they were burned! I have 0 now. You are just cheating customers! I collected these points for so long and what did I get in the end? D0ck? Thanks! I will never visit you again. Thanks for the experience!

2021-12-28Too much I couldnt even finish. Good food sufficient for two portions...had lunch and late lunch before and during work...kept me going til dinner time and very generous portions of sides.
