I was a patient at this clinic for the better part of 2020. My back problems stemmed from an old injury I suffered at the gym, which affected my lower back/lumber spine area. I was told by this clinic that I had a bulge disc, and that the course of treatment recommended was spinal decompression treatments, multiple times per week, for at least 6 months or more. These were not covered by insurance, and so I ended up paying a lot of money to this clinic. My back pain did not get better and in fact about 4 - 5 months in, my pain worstened drastically and I communicated this. But there was no change in treatment. So I decided to discontinue the spinal decompressions on my own, all altogether. I stopped going here and I went to a different doctor who ordered the proper imaging tests and diagnosed me with a different back problem. I decided to write this review because I felt like I was not given a proper course of treatment, and even though it was causing me more pain and I communicated that, it was recommended I keep going because I was dishing out more than $1,000+ a month to this place out-of-pocket, in addition to whatever the insurance was covering.I understand that this is a neighborhood spot, and that a lot of people are giving good reviews. I also trusted these reviews in the beginning & the recommended treatment... and I wish now that I made better decision for my health. If you find yourself with a similar health problem with similar recommendations for treatment, please get a second opinion.
Thanks to Dr. Cossifos I feel reborn. I suffered from lower back pain for quite some time. Finally, I was properly diagnosed and treated accordingly. I cant say enough about Dr. Cossifos or his office, which by the way, is super clean! Very important during these difficult times. He clearly cares about his patients and their recovery! I am always greeted with a warm welcome and kind words. Not to mention all the positive energy this office exudes. During a tough time he provided hope & encouragement! Dr. C is just awesome. I have bulging and fragmented disc. I started last year and I stopped. My back got worse and I was referred to physical therapist which made matters. I was in so much pain with horrible cramps, numbness to the entire right foot. I came back to Dr. C and thank God I have less pain now and can walk better without bending and limping. The service there is great. The persons at the front desk are very nice. Thank you so much Dr. C. Youre very good at what you do. Youre simply the best.
Dr. Cossifos is amazing. I recently found him online through Google search. The office is easy to find, parking available. A variety of appointment times and flexibility depending on your work schedule etc. Staff are always courteous and respectful. Dr. Cossifos is very thorough in explaining his recommendations and providing quality care. You will not be disappointed. Lets get adjusted!
Simply put, Dr. Cossifos genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his patients. He has provided me extreme pain relief on 2 separate occasions- of course not overnight, but sticking with the very detailed program he suggests will yield very positive results. He is thorough, kind, personable, knowledgeable, and cares about making you feel better. I would highly recommend him for any neck, back or spinal issues you may be having before you consider surgery.
I looked up “Chiropractor” on google and he was the first one to pop up. I scheduled an appointment with Justin at the Front desk (who was very supportive). Got a same day appointment. This office deserves more than 5 stars. I’ve been misdiagnosed a few times for my back pain but once he took a look at my xrays and explained things to me, it made a lot more sense. I am in far less pain (it’s almost a month now) and it’s helped a lot. He really does care, he’s more than understanding, he listens to your pain and walks you through everything to help you. I have been in consistent pain for over 2 years now and it’s really nice to have someone FINALLY listen to me. I genuinely could not thank him enough. I go in about 3 times a week and I stay maybe 10 minutes each time. He doesn’t keep you longer than what’s needed and if i’m in pain the same day, he’ll do a different type of adjustment. I went in the other day and my neck was so flared up. He did a different kind of adjustment than what he usually does and my neck pain was gone almost instantly!!!!
Dr. Constantine is both friendly and professional. This was my first experience with a chiropractor, but I felt immediate comfortability during the initial consultation. I was in a relatively bad car accident, and have returned regularly, 2-3 times per week, since then. Dr. Constantine has diligently and patiently worked to address any issues we discovered, and continues to ensure my back feels as good as possible. If you’re new or experienced to chiropractics, I would highly recommend the Chiropractic Health Center.

I got into my mid 40s with a strange click in my lower back that lead to the fear every foot step would lead to much worse. A trip to CHC revealed a terrible case of whiplash I had been nursing for well over a decade. With Dr Cossifos skilled hands Im now walking straighter and sleeping much better. Its a process that impressed my father enough to also seek treatment. If youre a little scared, dont be. The staff is great and only looks towards your care/treatment to a positive result. I’ve suffered from neck and back pain for a long time but when it gradually got worse, to the point that I was literally crying and wasn’t able to go about my activities or care for my two toddlers, I decided to look for a chiropractor. I never believed in chiropractic therapy and always thought that physical exercise is the key to everything but this time nothing helped. I found Dr Constantine through google and when I called he was actually the one who answered. He was so nice and accommodating that he saw me right away and aside from the xrays he even did adjustments and laser all on the same day. It turned out I have a herniated disc and a bulged one hence my pain. At his recommendation I’ve started a spinal decompression therapy. It’s been a couple of months that I’ve been going to dr Constantine and my condition improved significantly. I’m not 100% pain free yet but I’m confident that in time I will be. It took a long time to get a herniated disc so it would probably take a while to heal.After seeing Dr Constantine for this long, going to therapy is like visiting an old friend.Dr Constantine is not only friendly and professional but he’s also very kind, accommodating and cares a lot about his patients well being. The office is very clean, appointments are easy to get and they have a quite large parking lot.
It has been such a relief to find a chiropractor that I trust and is so experienced. Dr. Cossifos has helped me greatly with my neck and back pain, and I am in and out in about 8 minutes (after initial visit). He has also been taking great care with cleanliness since COVID-19. He has helped me establish better working habits to relieve neck and back pain. He really cares about his patients! I highly recommend Dr. Cossifos to anyone looking for a good chiropractor.
I hurt my back the day before the huge snowstorm last week—could barely walk, sit, stand, couldn’t sleep—so I self-scheduled an appointment online, unknowingly after the office had closed for the day due to inclement weather. I went there and waited for over an hour until I finally got ahold of the emergency on-call doc. He could tell I was in pain so called the doctor who agreed to come see me anyway. Had X-rays done and a diagnosis was given right away, Dr. Cossifos adjusted me and I felt better almost instantly. Still sore and taking it easy, but had an additional follow up appointment already and I feel 90% better. Such a caring doctor and he knows what he’s doing!
I was injured in a bad motor vehicle accident which resulted in my my previous back and neck injury came back with fiercely. I Have an 80 percent degenerative disc in my lower back and slipped disc in my neck. My pain was a 9 after the accident. I came to Doctor Constantine office and was welcomed like a family member. He took his time to assess my situation and injuries . The first day of treatment, I left feeling amazing and went home and finally got great sleep( 15 hours). I woke up with back pain from a 9 to a 3 to 4, and that was just 1 day. I can’t wait to see what happens after a couple of months of treatment. Im SO lucky to have found Chiropractic Health Center. Ive been to 3 chiropractors in the last 5 years and no one has compared to the experience Ive had here! I have bouts of upper back pain that are debilitating and in the few weeks I have been seeing Dr Cossifos he not only treated and resolved my pain, but my back as a whole has never felt better. Having to switch from my long time (9 years) chiropractor due to Covid 19, was not an easy easy transition. I saw several different drs., referred by friends or online before I found dr Constantine. After months of no treatment, I was in terrible pain. Without getting into the details, I’ve suffered most of my adult life of neck and back pain. Dr. C has helped me get back to feeling like my normal self again in just 6 weeks. He is knowledgeable, takes the time to explain the process, and the treatment options available. He also made a point of learning to pronounce my name correctly 🙂 I am grateful to have found him and would recommend him highly.
Dr. Constantine Cossifos is very professional and dedicated to helping his patients. I have been to many different chiropractors and this is the best one I have been to. I highly recommended him. My wife had been a patient of Dr. Cossifos for about 2 months when she insisted I see him for some shoulder pain and stiffness I had been experiencing for closer to a year. While I was not expecting much in terms of results, I made an appointment and am so happy I did. After a single visit my shoulder pain and stiffness were relieved by 80%. Initially I was doubtful that it was the treatment but the pain and stiffness returned 3 weeks later. After a repeat treatment the pain and stiffness once again disappeared. I now see him twice a month. The treatments relieve the pain and stiffness and allow me to sleep better. Thank you Dr. Cossifos!
I’ve been to many chiropractors over the years and Dr C is one of the best! Most others I’ve been to seem to do mostly the same things at every visit for each person. But Dr Gus creates a treatment plan individualized to you and changes up the adjustments as you progress. Would definitely recommend.
I originally went in for chronic back pain that I had been dealing with for years and after getting proper care (I had been to a chiro before🙄) I ended up seeing Dr. Cossifos for long term care due to my serious back issues. He’s really great and I would recommend him anytime. Oh and Justin at the front desk is great too!

Before seeing Dr. Cossifos at the Chiropractic Health Center I was experiencing extreme pain in my lower back, which at 23 years old was abnormal to say the least. He quickly diagnosed the issue (which stemmed from an accident when I was 13) and within a couple sessions got my back feeling great again! Very professional and informative experience.
I suffered severe neck pain and headaches which I thought was caused by everyday stress. I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Constantine. On my first visit we discussed my neck pain and headaches I mentioned how I was experiencing pain in both arms (I couldnt even lift them over my head)! I thought it was soreness from exercising, boy was I wrong! Turns out my neck pain was causing the pain in my arms. My neck is out of alignment with 3 herniated discs. I started having my neck and back adjusted along with neck spinal decompression therapy. Its been less than a month and I already have a better range of motion in my neck and no arm pain. Im looking forward to getting my quality of life back!!!
I have been having pain in my lower left side of my back and also my neck for years. I went to doctors but still found no relief. I came to this chiropractor because my back was killing me. I work retail so I’m up for 6-8 hours everyday. I had to take a week off from work because my back pain was too much to handle. As soon as I came in he took X- Ray of my back and gave me 24 hrs results. He gave me options for my treatment my back. A week later my back is feeling so much better. I’m so grateful.

I went to this chiropractor when I had very bad pain in my arms and was literally in tears. My experience was amazing the doctor was polite and when I went home I could definitely tell that my arms got 90% better. As I keep going I can feel that Im in less pain every time. Another great thing about this doctor is that he tells you where your pain is coming from in a very positive way. I would highly recommend this chiropractor to anyone.

He is very cautious and reliable and makes you feel comfortable during your session. I’ve seen 2 others chiropractors in the last 15 years and they did nothing for me. After a recommendation from my son in law, I decided to see Dr. Gus. I felt better after the first visit and have continued to get better. It’s been 3 months now and I am back to golfing and playing with my grandkids. A few months ago, I didn’t think I would be able to play golf again, but Dr. Gus changed that! I feel great and see him when needed.
Amazing chiropractor. Fix my shoulder in a week. He is been helping me to alleviate the soreness and pain of my back and neck. At first, I had tinnitus on my left ear thinking it was an ear infection. I went to two doctors and no one figured out what was wrong. Simone suggested it might be my neck. I didnt believed it at first until my condition worsen. I researched online and found CBC. I was skeptical until the good doc explain it to me about my problem. I gave it a try, and the treatment is working .They are very professional and they will work with you if you have a financial struggle. A good place to recommend. Now they are helping align my back when i found out I have scoliosis
The Chiropractor Gus is Great! He really listens and makes sure that he addresses whatever you were there for - He has helped me so much! I am an athlete and he makes sure to keep me on a regular schedule and tells me to take care of my body like I do my sports and activities!!I have had some laps in time over the 10 years that he had been my chiropractor and he always makes me feel welcome and never gives me a hard time. ;) I highly recommend him to anyone who would like to find a new or try a chiropractor for the first time. I have been under his care for approximately 7 month, after having been misdiagnosed and prescribed unnecessary medications that resulted in weight gain and causing me to sleep and not feel like myself. Since I presented with a VERY difficult case, Dr. Cossifos never gave up on me. He made sure to care for me from a holistic approach, including changing my diet, ordering appropriate Xrays and MRI tests, performing various adjustments, along with decompression therapy and using his latest method, a non-invasive laser. Dr. Constantine Cossifos is one of the best chiropractors I have been to. I usually have a hard time bending and moving around at work, but since I’ve been getting treated I’ve been doing so much better and don’t have any pain during work.
My wife has been suffering from chronic back and neck pain for years. I was finally able to convince her to see a Chiropractor after a previous bad experience but Dr. Constantine was so freindly and calmed her fear with a non aggressive approach. Her neck has never felt better and pain in her back has gone away after only a month of visits. I cant thank him enough.
I came to Dr. Constantine with continuous pain from sciatica and a herniated disc. Not only was he welcoming and attentive, but he listened to all my concerns before coming up with several treatment plans. I did not feel pushed into making any decisions because he talked through everything with me and respected my decisions.I was also concerned with seeing a chiropractor regularly because I’m not able to commit to a fixed time. With school and work, I feared having to reschedule frequently, but Dr. Constantine was more than understanding and works with me without judgement even if I have to see him early in the morning before his actual business hours. The accommodations are much appreciated.Another aspect I want to point out: although I came to Dr. Constantine mainly for my sciatica pain, he never overlooks any part of the body. I came in once with a frequent migraine and he adjusted my neck, instantly giving me the only relief from the migraine. I appreciated the thoroughness even though I didn’t realize that’s what I needed (or that migraine relief was possible).
After my very first visit I almost jumped off the table like a ninja. He is amazing and does a phenomenal job. I only gave 5 stars because there isnt an option for 10. If you have any pain anywhere especially in your lower back and neck, he is the only one for the job. I have been to other practices and after my first visit I wish I had came to him first. The back pain I was was experiencing from my pregnancy was absolute torture. Making the decision to see Dr. Cossifos was the only the thing that finally gave me some relief and has allowed me to become functional again. I had never gone to see a chiropractor before and I consider myself a total convert today. I plan to see Dr. Cossifos for as long as my pregnancy allows and thereafter!
Expect nothing less than professionalism from Dr. Constantine E. Cossifos. When I first went to see him I was experiencing uncomfortable neck and lower back pain. He took his time, slowly alleviating my pain, week after week. By my 3rd visit I felt results. I had less pain and more range of motion. Not only did Dr. Constantine reduce my tight and sore pain, but he educated me on what was really happening with my body and how to alleviate the pain and pressure at home. He genuinely cared about my progress, and would show excitement at stages of progress. Dr. Constantine Cossifos is an exemplary chiropractor. His practice is one that I have been a patient of since its inception. I trusted him implicitly to work on my infant daughter who suffered from severe ear infections twenty years ago. His gentle manipulation of our daughters neck adjusted her ear canals and allowed the drainage, thus avoiding a scary surgery. This wonderful chiropractor followed up on my daughters health for quite some time. He was also significant in my husbands back issues where Dr. Cossifos got my husband back on his feet and pain free. I recommend Dr. Cossifos and his chiropractic services!
I have been seeing Dr. Cossifos for over 16 years. He has helped me with my back and neck pain. When my children were younger I would also bring them in to see him. I continue to see him on a regular basis to maintain the health of my spine and posture. I feel better now than I did 20 years ago. He is a very friendly doctor and down to earth. I started coming here almost one week ago, I was in a lot pain in my back in hip area. I must say 3 visits later and I’m feeling a lot better. I love that there is parking on site, and never a long wait. Dr. Cossifos is very pleasant and staff is as well.

I went to see Dr. Cossifo because I had excruciating pain in my face/jaw. After the first few sessions, I saw the improvement, I no longer have pain. It comes back from time to time, but I go to Dr. Cossifo religiously twice a week now.I really appreciate the late office hours because I can come after work, and the front desk lady is very friendly.

Not only am I progressing leaps and bounds with my pain, but for the first time Ive met a Doctor who listens and genuinely cares and is dedicated to laying out a treatment plan that will work!! A doctor who follows up to check in on you without you calling them first?? That is sadly a lost art these days in the medical profession. Hes restored my confidence and hope that i am on the exact road Im meant to be on. If I could I would give 10 stars!! Hes Hall of Fame in My Book 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I looked up “chiropractor” on google and he was the first one to pop up. i scheduled an appointment with him the same day i called. he deserves more than 5 stars. i’ve been misdiagnosed a few times for my back pain but once he took a look at my xrays and explained things to me, it made a lot more sense. i’m in far less pain (it’s almost 2 months now) and it’s helped a lot. he really does care, he’s more than understanding, he listens to your pain and walks you through everything to help you. i’ve been in consistent pain for over 2 years now and it’s really nice to have someone FINALLY listen to me. i genuinely could not thank him enough.i go in about 3 times a week and i stay maybe 10 minutes each time. he doesn’t keep you longer than what’s needed and if i’m in pain the same day, he’ll do a different type of adjustment. i went in the other day and my back was so flared up. he did a different kind of adjustment than what he usually does and my back pain was gone almost instantly.
Dr. Constantine is amazing. He has helped me and my daughter for almost a year and we both have seen a huge difference after all of our visits. I highly recommend him for spine and TMJ problems!
I used to go to Dr Gus many years ago. I moved out of town but was in town visiting family. Had bad back and neck pain. I called Dr Gus and he saw me that day. Needless to say he fixed my issues. I always found him to be very accommodating and very professional. Hes the only Chiropractor I will let adjust me when Im in town. Recommend him highly
I have had only three treatments with Dr Constantine. I fractured my heel in sept. I’m in a boot now. With not using my back muscles much I badly strained it. I was in so much pain. I can’t begin to tell you how much better I feel. Dr Constantine is amazing. He’s a gentleman. I felt at ease from the beginning. There’s nothing worse then back pain. I thank him a million times. I’m still going for sessions. Every time I go I feel better. There’s no other like him. I’m 63 and been to many over the years. Thank you Dr Constantine!
Ive been struggling with a lower back injury for multiple years... No other doctors were able to help. Dr. Cossifos was able to relieve the pain using decompression in just a few months. Amazing!
I dont usually do this but whoever is not using this guy as their chiropractor is missing out big time! He was amazing with my adjustment, thoroughly explained the procedure and listened closely to my history and concerns. I had gone to different chiropractors before, always for the same recurring issue. But instead of just a fix and go like the others, Dr. Cossifos took time to figure out what was going on and now I’m on track for long term healing!

It’s covid and there is no social distancing in the waiting room even at 930 in the morning. I was really surprised that a doctor in the medical field would allow this to happen in their offices.I would suggest for your own safety, taking the current covid environment into consideration, you go somewhere else.
Literally after I’ve been there for 2 days , I’ve been sleeping better and finding more about my body that I didn’t know my old chiropractor wasn’t as helpful as Dr.Cossifos, I swear you wouldn’t regret it

I’ve been in pain a little over 10 years after a car accident I could Barely move everything hurt to the point I couldn’t get out of bed I had to call out of work could care for my kids it’s just been bad I’ve been to physical therapy had acupuncture been on all type of pain medication even want to pain management and still had no relief I was told by many doctors that I need surgery and I sure wasn’t doing that with a 50% of walk so I decided it was time to see a chiropractor and boy was I screamed when I first got there but make a long story short my level of pain I was in when I got there was on a scale of 10 leaving I was half that my back and my neck can move again I feel less pressure I’m so grateful for this I can’t wait to go again thank you so much for helping get some type of relief V.Garcia

I came in for lower back pains on my left side. Im a diver, so minor pains are common. It only took a few adjustments for that issue to go away. Highly recommend.

2022-04-13Have been suffering from pain throughout my neck, back and shoulders. Have had some disappointing visits to chiropractors in the past until I found Dr.C’s office. The consultation was very pleasant and informing as the doctor addressed the underlying issues. As I was shown the x-rays explanation came along with it and ways to treat my symptoms. Have had a few visits and am pleased each time I’m adjusted. The office is very clean and inviting. Highly recommend visiting this office if you are suffering from pain.

2022-04-10My first time being to a chiropractor since my accident and Im very happy with the service and treatment given by Dr Cossifos so far, Im going on my third session next week and so far I alway leave feeling better. Even though i had brought with me my MRI reports and Neurology reports Dr Cossifos still performed several scans of my body and explained in detailed the scan results and my treatment plan. I feel very comfortable with everything so far. Happy patient

2021-11-29Highly recommend! A little backstory, I’ve had scoliosis and went to another chiropractor in Eastchester and he did not notice. In addition to not noticing some thing a chiropractor should definitely notice, he was also cracking me the wrong way which could’ve led to my scoliosis getting worse, if you had not already not made it worse.The first thing my new chiropractor did for me, is x-ray me immediately, told me how I need to be cracked, and has been doing an amazing job since!

I decided to look on the website for chiropractor that is close to my house and job. I was in excruciating pain and I called to see if I can get a same day appointment. I have been dealing with back pains for the past 5 years now and after having an MRI the orthopedic surgeon that I saw told me that I didn’t not have anything that he would be able to treat and that I should find a “ good chiropractor”. I have been searching tirelessly and most of the Chiros I have seen would run test on me but rarely touch me let alone adjust me…. Dr. Constantine on my first visit adjusted me as he knew I was in severe pain. This is only my second week being treated and I feel 60% better. 2021-02-25I’ve been experiencing back and neck pain for a few years now. I went to another chiropractor before Dr. Constantine and it felt like a revolving door and like I was just a number. When I found Dr. Constantine I was so relieved! Not only is he great at adjusting my neck and back but he is personable! He takes his time to get to know his patients. If you’re looking for a chiropractor he is the one! My neck and back has never felt better.
