My husband had ordered me a fruit bouquet through 1-800 Flowers for our wedding anniversary in April. They used Chocolate Works as the local vendor to make and deliver the order. The fruit bouquet was supposed to look like an Edible Arrangements item, with fruit on a stick and some of it coated in chocolate. This was also supposed to come with an “I love you” balloon.First, the delivery person put the basket directly in front of the door, which makes it hard to get outside my door to pick it up. Other vendors have done that too, I guess they don’t think. The real problem that was noticed immediately is that the balloon said “happy birthday”. It was very saddening and disappointing to get a special delivery like that and have it say “happy birthday” on our anniversary. He actually mentioned our anniversary in the card too, so they obviously didn’t think about what they were doing in order to catch the mistake. At first glance, the fruit looked nice and I tried to ignore the balloon error. Upon eating the fruit, I realized that it wasn’t all properly cut, leaving a lot of non-ripe areas on the melons (green areas on the cantaloupe). Whenever I tried to eat the chocolate covered fruit, the chocolate broke and fell off immediately, it wasn’t properly sticking to the fruit like a true and proper chocolate dipped fruit would. The chocolate tasted a bit old too. I’m not sure if they are using old chocolate, cheap chocolate or just don’t know how to properly make chocolate covered fruit. It sucks being quarantined during special occasions so my husband really wanted that gift to be perfect, he was upset. I tried to cover up my unhappiness because I wanted him to know that it was the thoughts that counted. In the end, it was decided that he would only order that type of stuff directly through Edible Arrangements going forward. I would stay away from this vendor in the future.

WORST CHOCOLATE Ive ever had!Let me preface this by saying Im a former pastry chef, and know quite a bit about chocolate.I ordered 1 box each of their white, milk, and dark chocolate 5-piece slider boxes. I ALMOST ordered larger boxes, and Im glad I didnt. I ordered them on April 7th with the intention of having them here for Easter. They arrived on April 15th!Not only did the package take FOREVER to get to me (label was created on the 8th, and the first UPS scan was on the 10th), but the order arrived with HUGE problems.First, the order was wrong. I received the white, milk, and dark 5-piece boxes as desired, but I received FIVE BOXES OF EACH! (On a positive note, I was NOT charged extra for this mistake). Additionally, the boxes are NOT slider boxes, but have cheap acetate lids. So, theyre NOTHING like on the website.Next, there is NO padding inside the individual boxes to keep the chocolates from banging around inside. Thus, the chocolates are all scuffed up on the edges and bits of chocolate cover the chocolates and inside the boxes, leaving an unsightly mess. Had they had some padding like ALL other chocolates you get anywhere, they would be some decent looking chocolates. The shipping box was received with some pillow packs inside, and thats it! No invoice, packing list, cold pack, NOTHING! Just the cheap boxes of chocolates and some basic cushioning.Additionally, we NEVER got a shipping confirmation or ANY type of communication other than the automated order confirmation when we placed the order. They never even replied to my email inquiring about our shipment! Now to the chocolates themselves; this stuff was GARBAGE!You know when you open a box of chocolates, and you get that wonderful chocolate smell? Yeah, not with this stuff. Smelled only of artificial flavors and candy melts. NOT real chocolate! The white chocolates are NOT actual white chocolate, but white candy melts or something. Totally artificial tasting. The milk chocolates also taste like theyre made from chocolate flavored candy melts. As for the dark chocolates, I couldnt tell if they used real chocolate or not because they tasted like how fingernail polish smells. AWFUL!!!The shells of these filled chocolates were WAY too thick, leaving hardly any room for their nearly tasteless fillings. Some flavors were discernible, but not much. No REAL flavors coming through, only artificial flavorings. We could only stomach a bite of one or two chocolates of each of the white, milk, and dark before we gave up.For a company so large and popular, I was expecting MUCH better than this. I guess thats what happened when a company gets big and chooses quantity over quality. In summary:TERRIBLE chocolates!CHEAP packaging!AWFUL shipping!NON-EXISTENT customer service!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I received a small birthday fruit basket 30 minutes ago, which seemed pretty until I unwrapped it. This must have been in a refrigerator for a minute, because the orange slices were dry, the rind LOOKED dry, and they didnt taste good at all. They were not quality oranges. The green melon was unripe and hard. The cantaloupe slices should have been sliced MINUS the green rind parts. The chocolate was cheap and sweet, and did not work. The strawberries were decent. Because it was a delivered gift I didnt tell the giver so they wouldnt feel bad. If Flowers.Com has to outsource to different vendors and cant guarantee quality, they need to stick to just flowers and let Edible Arrangements handle the fruit basket department. This is so bad my mom doesnt like it.

Their chocolate-coated Marshmallow Clouds are the best! Huge(!) Like about the size of 3-4 regular-sized marshmallows in one), puffy pieces with very good marshmallow inside and the chocolate coating is fresh and hard and crisp and very tasty! I have only tasted the milk chocolate ones so far, but will have to try the dark ones as well, for sure! I bought them at TJ Max. I called the company to ask if the product contained any MSG (because the label lists Natural Flavors, which is often a term that can and is legally used for MSG) and they told me none of their products contain MSG. Yay! They also said that these can be bought at Marshalls too.

This company cares nothing for its customers and the owner is down right nasty. The products we received were bad and we spent a lot of money on them and this guy just brushes me off like I was lying and not only that told me to lose his number. I will be calling the BBB on this company and Ill bring my customer complaints with me.

Not only did they send me the wrong order. The order they sent had hair embedded in the arrangement.
