Jerry Lynn did an amazing job making our wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding. Our guests loved the taste and they looked amazing with unique artistic touches for us. She delivered them early and communicated well. Highly recommend her for your special occasion!
I. had the best Chocolate Half Moon Cookie in my entire life. If I die and go to heaven...it will be full of their half moons. The chocolate cake is light and has that devils food flavor. The frosting melts on your tongue. Just the best Half Moon ever. I also enjoyed their breakfast and French Toast Muffin. But...get a Half Moon. It is a religious experience for Half Moon lovers.
Amazing place! We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. Great food we got the panini and baked French toast, aaaamazing. Very clean restaurant and restrooms! Staff was super nice, I’m so glad we found this place it really is good!
This review is coming in a little late but I am eternally grateful to Gerilyn at Chroma for helping me reduce the distance between India and the US by making sure my boyfriend received lovely cupcakes for Valentines day. It was our first Valentines Day and to top it we were in two separate continents. Chroma made it absolutely the very best in terms of the cupcakes, service and responses. An etheral experience. I definitely look forward to many more orders with them!Thank you is an understatement for your efforts. Kudos!
The owner and employees were very kind and friendly. They take care of the customers needs quickly and without hesitation. Not only was the service great, but the food was great as well. The food was large for the price, and the taste was phenomenal! I would say they have some of the best local food you can find, and every bit of the food is made fresh. Definitely going back.
First time here. The place is small in size but the line goes fast. Price is good for the amount you get. I noticed gluten free choices. Parking is street parking and out front but if the spots are full go around the corner or next block down.
My husband and I came to this bakery/café this morning looking for something for brunch.We ordered a Buffalo chicken breakfast burrito, baked blueberry french toast muffin, a cinnamon roll and coffees. My coffee was good, regular flavored cafe coffee, my husband’s was bland without flavoring, but not terrible. It was fresh and steaming.The cinnamon roll was hard in the center, the frosting slightly over sweetened.The French toast muffin was rubber with blueberries baked in, I could barely get the muffin wrapper off, it was stuck to the bread. The blueberries weren’t bad.The burrito was eggs with chicken and hot sauce, very bland.Hopefully this was just an off day, but I found the missing .4 in the rating.
Cute, cozy place with a great selection of baked goods of all kinds. I was less excited about the lunch items I tried. It would be perfect if they offered gourmet coffee too. Then I would never leave!
Gerilynn and her staff did the most incredible job for our wedding on October 5, 2019. The cakes, cupcakes and filling in them tasted absolutely amazing!!We ordered the chocolate Guinness with raspberry filling and the lemon with raspberry filling both covered with cream cheese frosting. Chocolate Guinness and peanut butter cupcake and lemon chiffon with lemon frosting. Everything tasted delicious and you could tell that they used all natural ingredients.Gerilynn helped to create our dream cake when we brought in photos for inspiration and exceeded what we imagined it would look. We talked to and priced out many other bakeries and Chroma Cafe came out on top hitting all of our requirements and then some.You will not be disappointed in choosing Chroma Cafe for your wedding needs!!
Chroma has the best selection of sweets and pastries in the downtown area. They have a menu full of delicious and healthy options with daily specials. If youre out and about you cant beat Chroma for breakfast or lunch options!
Great little bakery offering up sweet treats and inspired lunches. Carnivores and vegetarians alike will enjoy the offerings here. Locally sourced ingredients in many of their delicious concoctions.
Ok experience, wish they had more options that were available for people with gluten sensitivity. I understand its a bakery but how hard is it to make a flourless brownie or pb cookie? Most bakeries have at least 1 gf/flourless option. Tough to enjoy a brunch out when the only thing I can eat on the menu is the grilled cheese with gf bread.
Love this place! The food is always good, the specials change daily. The selection of baked goods is excellent- youll always find something to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Food was good and the service was really fast. Its a good place for lunch or a quick bite. The bakery section looked very nice too, i will have to try it sometimes.

Fast and delicious! I had the grilled chicken salad and my wife had the hummus wrap both were very fresh! Staff is very polite and helpful!

The products taste good, but the portion sizes are very small for the price (cookies, cookie bars, etc.). At $1.25 each for a cookie I would expect it to be much larger.

The food is decent, but the hours and menu items are a bit finicky. No croissants on T,TH, or SAT. Can only get brunch on the weekends. The weird hours are inconvenient.
I had a bacon breakfast burrito and blueberry coffee cake. The burrito was ok, comes with salsa and sour cream. The blueberry coffee cake was good.

2022-02-24Gerilyn is simply AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond to create a delicious cake for my father’s special day which was not an easy feat considering he doesn’t eat sugar. She used agave and both the cake and frosting were divine. Thank you a million times over!!

2022-05-14I love half moon cookies. I have searched from Utica to Syracuse, Albany to Troy. Chroma has the best I have ever had. Perfect balance of chocolate cake and frosting. Heaven. The best I ever had.

2021-12-12My girlfriend and I both used this bakery for birthday cakes, and the process was easy and organized. The staff were friendly, and handled everything over the phone! I even had to change the pick up time last minute and they were flexible with everything. They also offer food/coffee there which was delicious as well!!! Definitely recommend.

2021-08-03When it comes to quality bakeries the selection in Broome county is just pathetic but these guys are for sure holding it down. Definitely the best Kolachkes I’ve ever tasted. Good selection of other desserts also.

2017-06-13I ordered a buffalo sandwich on a pretzel panini. It was really good along with a free molasses cookie! The other item I had was a lemon cupcake with raspberry butter creme frosting. The flavor was good but it was a little dry. I didnt get to eat it until the day after so not sure if that played in. Overall a great experience. The place was crowded but I was in and out with my to go order in less than 15. The staff was very courteous and answered all my questions including personal recommendations.

2018-08-24Amazing staff, so friendly and attentive. I visited this cozy café on a Saturday morning and the food was delicious, the atmosphere is perfect. Nothing like this in downtown Binghamton. I highly recommend it and I’ll be back for sure.
