NEVER paid for my collapsed ceilings. CHUBB and Sons is the BIGGEST scam. . ….Just read hundreds of their reviews with the biggest run around to avoid any payments. There should be a class action LAWSUIT!!!!To top it all, they paid their sleazy lawyer (who shut down his former boss’s firm and gave away a partners client base) to change a legal caption in my case to prevent me from filing an appeal after arguing that the process server did not do the right job. (I asked them to have it corrected 3 times). FRAUDSTERS. Would OVERSPEND on lawyers then actually cover the claims.When I requested they provide contact information to their underwriter so that I can be compensated for damages, they refused insisting I cite authorities before they reconsider. A great way to deter anyone from pursuing their claims.Report them to your local authorities!!!!!

On September 23, 2016, I was rear ended by a driver insured through CHUBB INSURANCE. The driver indicated that he was a “hired driver” and he accepted full responsibility of my vehicle. My vehicle was not totaled so the damages were minor, to say the least. The driver agreed to pay for the cost up front but, I was leery of having repairs done by any mechanic since my vehicle is leased. Police were called and the driver remained on the scene. The impact of the vehicle (red Denali) hitting me caused me to rear end the commercial vehicle in front of me (an Access-A-Ride). No damages were done to the vehicle in front of me. The police arrived and an accident report was filed. I contacted my insurance and was given a repair shop to access damages. I contacted the insurers insurance, CHUBB INSURANCE, and was assigned a representative, Ms. Kora Bright. Ms. Bright explained what was needed and stated an email will be sent to me detailing the steps. I ONLY RECEIVED ONE PHONE CALL FROM MS. BRIGHT. Each time I contacted CHUBB INSURANCE-Ms. Brights voice mailbox was full. I finally received a call from another representative stating Ms. Bright was an extended leave so her caseload would be distributed. The representative then said an estimate of repair needs to be done by CHUBB INSURANCE and told me she would have someone call me to schedule the appointment. On October 17, 2016- my vehicle was re-estimated by CHUBB INSURANCE. Again, I received no follow up calls for what will be done. I contacted CHUBB INSURANCE once again and was told they were not able to contact the driver of the Denali since it was a livery/company vehicle. On November 30, 2016 I contacted CHUBB INSURANCE to speak to a supervisor/manager so I could better understand what was being done. After discussing my issue with yet another representative, she finally transferred me to Ms. Brights supervisor, Donna (didnt catch the last name). Ms. Donna was very unprofessional. I explained my frustration and she bluntly asked why didnt I handle my repair cost with my insurance until they figured out if their insurer was liable. I explained to her that I followed the proper steps and since the driver was apologetic about the accident; I did not think I should be held responsible for the damages on my car. Ms. Donna was not sympathetic nor did she care that in two months NOTHING has been done. I could not believe I was speaking to a supervisor within the claims department. She showed no remorse nor did she take the time to review the notes and hear me out. I was not pleased with Ms. Donnas attitude on the phone so I asked who was her supervisor. Ms. Donna stated, Steven (didnt catch the last name). She then said she was not fond of my attitude and thats when I hung up. The representatives at CHUBB INSURANCE have no empathy. I have never heard of CHUBB INSURANCE before but, their lack of customer service, professionalism and rude disposition is something that needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!I hope I never have to deal with this INSURANCE COMPANY ever again.

Chubb takes zero responsibility with customer relations . They claimed to have sent via US mail , during Christmas season 2017 a notice to my home, concerning an expired debit card which had been used for three straight years to make payments. No letter was ever received. In contacting Chubb to straighten this situation , the response I received was, you only carry home insurance with us and unless you add your car insurance , we chose not to renew your home insurance policy. The reason I would not take out car insurance policy with Chubb, was because Geico was and is three times less expensive .
