Chuck E. Cheese in other cities:
Not the best experience this time and weve been here before. People smoking cigarettes right in front of entrance. Got in and paid, immediately got busy and was so noisy we couldnt hear each other talking right next to each other. Many of the games were not working correctly. Kids took the ball for the soccer game. Not many options for my 3 year old, Nothing to do for 1 year old. Food quality has gone down since last time. Only 1 bathroom stall we tried actually locked. Big kids kept running and doing kartwheels on interactive mat. Long lines, especially at the prize counter. expensive!! Shout out to the nice female worker who waited on us a few times who was very helpful and professional! Thank you! Probably wont be back for a long time...
Need to step up their game for the price it costs to come play there! Quality of food has gone down, yet the price has gone up! Game machines are often out of order but still eat up those points. Always the LONGEST wait at the prize counter, they truly need to figure out a new system for that. Staff could also smile more and be a lil more engaging/ attentive to people.
Honestly could not of picked a worse place for my sons birthday party. I was embarrassed by how poorly it went over. Got the top tier but they were out of all the stuff, wasnt true parties after had them. They started the party almost a half hour late so I had these kids just sitting there. The staff was absolutely rude and did not care in the least to help.
The pineapples at the salad bar were fermented I told the lady that made announcements for bitrthday party and gave her my plate because the lady in the front had too many customers that she had at the time...... I went back up too the same person i gave my plate too after playing l games if I can have another plate for the salad bar and she ask me if I baught the salad bar. The reason why I rated this is because it is not the first I had something bad at salad bar also the plain bonesless wings is 10.99 were chicken nuggets everything I paid for was not worth 58.16 when all I had was a small order boneless wings and a salad bar.
We took our almost two years old grandson here yesterday and boy did we have fun, funtastic time had by all...The staff were super nice and the establishment was extremely welcoming...Glad we brought Asher here, our awesome Grand son... Nonnie, Poppa Bill and our little girl Gina...
Came here with my son, the prices are very nice. We were eating our pizza and all of a sudden we see chuck e cheese come off stage and then takes my son into a back room. 10 minutes later he comes out with some red spots on his costume. I havent seen my son in a while but he is most likely okay. Pizza was bussin no cap sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
Not only is this my daughters favorite place in the world, but its also MY favorite place!! Just celebrated her 2nd birthday at CHUCK-E-CHEESE!!🎮🥳♥️🎊🕹️🧁🎈🧩🎰🎉🎲🎂🎁♥️BUTTT-- IVE GOT TO SAY THAT I DIDNT LIKE HOW ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CARDS THAT HOLD YOUR POINTS/MINUTES, THEY ALSO GREATLY LOWERED THE AMOUNT OF TICKETS PER WIN ...2, 5,10 tickets per win NOW versus the 50, 100,250 tickets it USED TO BE! AND PRICES HAVE GONE UP ALL AROUND EXPONENTIALLY SINCE REOPENING!!
Only three stars because while I was walking around with my daughter helping her play the games one of the employees took our food and drinks and threw them away. Now I would understand if it looked like the table was abandoned but I still had my things there. Was our first time there and the overall experience wasnt bad its just we wouldve loved to enjoy the food we payed for.
Love that they stamp you and your child and monitor going in and out. Surprisingly great pizza! The timed game cards work out great. Rember when your food comes to go to cashier and ask them to pause play while you eat. Staff was friendly and helpful and games great for the little ones. Would reccomend more activities.
Food was good, the kids had fun, the staff was kind, however, ordering was overwhelming for my family. With all the changes after covid prices and options to buy should be placed online. This will help families decide what to order ahead of time lessening the wait time at the register.
Totally different then the last time I went. Not much for small children to do the tunnels they had argon Chuck-E-Cheese does not come out every 30 minutes I had to ask one of the employees and he made it happen but only once many tables not enough games with things for kids to do. Very clean staff
Brought our niece, for her first time, to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday. Enough space for social distancing, however, most of the tables were dirty and had left over plates, cups, etc. on them that had not been cleared or sanitized. We ended up having to sit at a table that was closed however, we had no choice. Skip the food (very poor quality), eat either before you go or after. While I know folks dont go to Chuck E. Cheese for the food, given that children get hungry and food is offered, the food should be better quality (especially for children). Depsite all this our niece enjoyed her first time at Chuck E. Cheese.
Had a horrible experience when I ate the pizza I went homes and I was extremely nauseous and I had a extremely painful headache and threw up 112 times I went to the hospital turns out I got severe food poisoning and I filed a lawsuit because the pizza didnt taste all that cooked earlier sadly I have to use a feeding to for a month Im never coming back for my own safety!
The location is in good shape as far as the physical location goes. The staff leave a lot to be desired. They never send out the mouse when he’s supposed to come unless you go and ask. Then an unenthusiastic, depressed looking mouse emerges for all of 2 minutes, throws down some tickets and returns to their closer to change. Fortunately the kids didn’t catch on to the sad mouse but they did get upset he didn’t come out at all the first time. He only emerged the second time because I asked.Food is all right for overpriced pizza and beverages. There are tons of coupons and deal days so check before you pay full price. Finally this is not the Chuck E. Cheese of our childhoods. There’s no play area or singing animatronic animals. It’s all videos games. Basically you’re paying for arcade entertainment. My kids loved it and we did get to play together and bond over some games. One last note that is great- they use kid ID and check to make sure you have your kids when you leave. No one can leave with your kids but you which allows you to relax while they run around playing.
I love this place to go with my family. My kids are enjoying going to Chuck E. Cheese so much. The pizza is okay but seriously, if you go there, its for the arcade. And now, with the all you can play, its easier for me and my big family to go out and enjoy our time there without costing a fortune for us. They also have specials prices for military. Seriously, if this place was closer, its sure I would organize my kids birthday there.
Had a wonderful experience bringing our daughter and her friends here. One of her friends tripped and got a tiny little rug burn but she wouldn’t stop crying. The staff was so great with her and cheered her right up. My wife and I really appreciate how attentive and kind they were.
Always a great place to bring your kids! It was crowded on this day that I went and I also experienced a parent being a kid in tying up two machines at the same time lol staff was on top of the situation and corrected it immediately! I think its awesome that parents interact with their children but not taking over a machine from a child I was very pleased with the results.
2 adults, 1 -five year old.... $29 covered 30 game points (for her the equiv of 25 games), childs full meal, Caesar chicken wrap, and two more adult drinks... and we stayed for 3 hours. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF.... very good with kids. Food tasted decently... and the choice was pretty good for a family entertainment place. We will go back.
An excellent place for a childs birthday party. So much to do, the excitement for the little ones is precious. The hosts are marvelous, everyone has a great time. My granddaughter and her friends loved it.Dress accordingly, beer is quite expensive. More signs on the highway is needed to find this place. Took me an hour to find it. Had to ask for directions 3x. If youre coming from a distance, best to have the exact directions. GPS, had me going around in circles.
Its definitely a place to go if you have kids. There pizza is good, and their games are cute. When Chuck E Cheese comes out the kids go crazy. Its definitely a family place, and kids love it. It also gives the parents a chance to relax for awhile. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids.
They dress up to make the kids happy. The pizza was a little salty. Some of the games spit out free tickets but Im not sure if that was a freebie or faulty equipment. It only seemed like pure chaos but thats only kids are letting loose. Lots of visual stimulation and enter action for kids.
Prices are a little high but the unlimited game play is nice. There are almost always coupons available too. Weekends are packed, you feel like youre in a mosh pit with a bunch of kids but my kids always have a blast. Chucke E. Cheese remains a great place to bring the family and a great place for kids to celebrate birthdays.
The food is good! We went around 2:30 the place was empty the whole time we were there. And I was surprised there were a lot of employees there standing around hanging out but there were about 8 tables very dirty food all over really old salad and dressing it was all out all over lots of different tables but no one was cleaning them. There was a side door near the game room and in front of the door was a bunch a trash. Not a very clean place
Staff is great! We always get extra tickets and they are helpful. Every time a game was broken I would get a handful of tickets or tokens. We usually go when its pretty empty and its great! It does look grubby outside but inside is always clean. My kids love it. We would go weekly in Poughkeepsie until we moved. If Latham wasnt so far we would here too. Always use coupons from their website. For the fun and kids smiles the price is worth it.
Had my nephews first bday here!! I love the pizza and the party package but this isn’t a place for kids past the age of 10 the arcade games are very cool games for younger kids but the older the more boring they say, and very little to do for kids ages 1-6 the rides are nice but only a handful..
New unlimited gameplay is nice... It works because you cant possibly get enough tickets in 2 hours to get anything worth more than a few cents. Good for little kids though. Food is as expected... Says fresh baked pizza but I really doubt it. Just on the edge of edible. Very crowded germ farm.
Worst place on earth!!! Always overcrowded, and anxiety attack waiting to happen. I know its my own fault for going and putting myself through the stress but my kids seem to enjoy it. Pizza slices are a bit to small and price are redic but you can charge what you want when you corner the market in a area. All in all not a bad place so dont view my 2 stars as a all around everyone should dislike its a me dislike.
Plus- they removed the filthy play house & added more games & rides. Staff is fun, friendly & helpful. Minus- pizza is bland & the kids didnt want it. On the whole the place is clean. Ppl need to pay attention to their kids & not let them run crazy. The staff doesnt say anything about it to the kids or their parents. Complaining is useless.
Pay as you go was a good deal, and the woman that checked us in was great! Made sure we really did have the best deal for our group! The female manager looked miserable and when we asked to get a machine fixed she just walked away, confusing my mother on how the game would be fixed. It was fine and will probably come back again at some point.
I dont know what the hell people are talking about in the reviews. There is nothing wrong with this Chucke Cheese that I am aware of. My son and I go at least 3 times a month maybe more and Ive never had an issue. Sure it gets busy on Friday and Saturday but thats because its the weekend duh. They changed the pizza recipe and Its really good too. All in all its a great place, so visit and make your own opinion on the place.
Kids always love chuck e cheese. I hate that they give you a card and for additional ones are extra so I spent my time chasing three kids around, not terrible. Also most of the machines were not working so that sucked but they had a good time and thats the point. Overall its okay, pizza was ok.
Chuck E. Cheese in the Latham Troy Albany area, may be a little difficult to find (ignore your GPS telling you to do U Turns and turn at the steak house its on that side of the road but if u blindly follow GPS I dunno if u can even get there. Place seemed clean enough, hectic with kids but I mean, it would be weird if it wasnt. If you want to schedule a birthday package dont try to do it the day of, and theres good and bad sides of planning an official party or not. The little extras reserving a party gets you will absolutely add to your kids experience and make them feel very special but, my apologies to C.E.C. HQ but if you just go and dont plan the party you wont feel as tho your experience was lacking anything really, just be proactive and plan and think about how much stuff you need for the amount of ppl u have.C.E.C. has gone the way of the arcade world or maybe they set the trend who knows but its the load a card style pay for play and essentially comes down to a little ride for ur tot who cant navigate video games yet or a game whos ultimate goal is get tickets. Tickets then exchanged for toys....not the arcade my dad and I fell into so many memories but hey think about Christmas 1989 vs Christmas 2016 and its just our world. I had 3 kids with me 2 girls, 12 and 8 and a boy 3, I spent 100$ on loading cards with points so they could play games and we left with some, but the way they do it, at 130 for 30$ u dont mind 250 for 20$ more. If your gonna go to a place like chuck e cheese them winning tickets regardless how u feel about it is the point. Consider casino science and how it can be applied to children and thats whats going on.If my family and i didnt have such a great day I would take at least a star off, weather its the training and business model and amount of staff corporate feels is needed on a frickin sat afternoon but, if your going to go here do not have high expectations from staff. Anyone whos been there any amount of time of takes any pride in theyre job has been smart enough to attain a title that somehow insulates them from direct customer service and the staff your stuck dealing with directly are the highschoolers and 5th job since January crew, be prepared to wait, or not sweat taking care of things yourself. On the busy Saturday I was there I saw one great employee working cash register, blonde girl, not old, is best I can do for description, worst employee was highschool girl at door letting ppl in....good luck yall
My daughter likes to come here to play great for kids but rip off as far as how much it costs for hardly any ticket winnings. Spent $10 in tokens to get a lollipop for a prize. Totally not worth it. Theres soo many better options over this place. I suggest going somewhere else .The staff are rude and miserable as well .
In one word... Trashy. I dont think beer and wine is acceptable to serve at a childrens establishment. Furthermore many people in the building smelled heavily of marijuana. Birthday party tables are crammed next to other birthday party tables leaving almost no room to get in-between them. The table next to us was filled with some very rude people who basically just pushed us aside to get to their seat. My wife and I both heard many people swearing like sailors at different parts of the facility. Not a very conducive environment to have a party in or even to bring your children to if you are not okay with your kids being around stoned, drunk, rude, potty mouthed, trashy people.
TERRIBLE. First of all over packed and understaffed. There was like 3 birthday parties on a friday night and only maybe 3-4 staff members. Every single machine we went to either had no tickets, broken or missing something. It was like 95 degrees and barely anywhere to move. Then finally to cashing in these tickets, it ripped us off i easily had 75-80 tickets and i put them in the machine and it sucked them in so fast i couldnt stop them and guess what!? The machine just stopped counting but continued taking the tickets this also happened to others there. The staff simply said oh yea the machine just does that sometimes. Sadly this is not uncommon this is the 4th time!!!! I go simply because my 3 year old likes it and the location is right by a lot of the stores we commonly visit. But absolutely terrible and a huge waste of money.
This place embarrassed me. Im almost 17. Myself and my younger brother were going to play some games while my mother went to hobby lobby. I brought cash, coupons and my license to prove. The girl at the front end was 100% my age and told me I couldnt go in because I wasnt 18. I told her I drove there and I had my license. She told me I couldnt stay. So my brother and I were stuck waiting outside in the cold for my mother to come back.I understand the rule 18 years and older but. Im old enough to work there but not to play there. Thats sooooooooo stupid.
Had planned to do my sons second birthday party outside, then weekend became a washout. Went in 5 days before his scheduled party and booked a reservation. The young ladies who helped me keptba smile at on my face while walking me through the booking process. Showed up Ssturday to a very warm welcome. Change my party details on the fly that day and they were very accommodating. Zag was my party host. He was extremely polite and helpful and kept my party supplied with whatever we needed.
Waited over an hour to get our cake, after we were told it would be 15 minutes. The whole time we were there a few of the machines were opened up and it looked like several employees were doing maintenance on them. This was very inconvenient to step around equipment on the floor and to make sure mission wasnt getting into it. There was no play area for toddlers or a play place to climb around on.
Alotta games were broke and the picture booth was outta paper.we spent A LOT of money in there Sunday and it was poor quality....ok I gave this place another chance and everything was alot better as far as games go and the machine having paper in it to take pictures...BUT the chuck e cheese guy was HORRIBLE!!! IN FACT HE DIDNT EVEN COME OUT BUT ONCE WHILE WE WERE THERE..I HAVE VIDEOS TO PROVE IT..my daughter was so disappointed!
Service is always really great food is too but when it was all time to cash the ticket reciept for the prizes me and my kids got cotton candy we always get cotton candy we love us some chuck e cheese cotton candy especially the green & blue but today we got some i get home i gave my kids their cotton candy and my 6 year old son was eating the watermelon one and there were these long hard sharp pieces of candy in the cotton so i ate some and it felt like I was chewing on glass and shredded glass shards it actually hurt my tongue . So i called the manager and he hung up right in my face after i explained to him what happened. They are giving your kids glass dont eat the cotton candy
Cardboard over priced pizza. Old games that dont work and the work just looks at them instead of fixing them. What a dossapointmwnt. The food tastes like the cheapest pizza you can find at the dollar store. When you tell staff the machines are broken they just say yeah they always are.

2022-05-18Best Chuck E Cheese I’ve been to with my family. We’ve been to many Chuck E Cheeses in different states and this one is by far the best one! It’s clean and well maintained. The pizza was delicious and the salad bar was well kept. It’s the first time we try the salad bar as the other places we’re not very appetizing. Staff is friendly, courteous and constantly sanitizing(covid) and checking that the games/rides are clean and working. It’s the first Chuck E Cheese where I see all the Alley Rollers working and all have the same amount of balls in each alley. It was definitely worth the 2.5 hours drive for my kids to have fun there.

2022-02-22Would be 5 stars if it were alittle cheaper, but would rate it more like a 4.5 out of 5. This establishment is very sanitary, bathrooms fully stocked and well-maintained (unlike places such as Billy Beez). Tables are very clean. The front admission is also very easy going. Staff are hard workers - all the games and equipment were fully functioning. Its a well maintained ship over there. The food is also very good, the wings were amazing. They upgraded their pizza too I feel like. My kids loved this place and we all had a great time. I would fully recommend this place to anyone with children and wanting a day out or a party - I want to thank the staff and management for the fun and awesome time we had too.

2022-04-12The place was busy, but the staff handled everything effectively. They were very attentive, very welcoming, and the kids had a great time. I must say that I was happily surprised with the pizza, as it was very delicious, especially the pepperoni slices. The crust was perfectly crispy, nice amount of cheese, and it had a nice garlicky taste as well.

2022-04-18My fiancée and I took our kids to a birthday party here. It was a lot of fun! Kids got two hours of unlimited games and the pizza and wings were pretty good too! Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

2022-05-25Ive never been before and this was the first time I took the kids. The staff that was behind the counter were friendly and explained how everything worked. The kids loved it and had a blast. We spent a good amount of money which I expected but I didnt expect to spend such a high amount. There were two things that were odd. One being the TVs playing a countdown to when Chuck E Cheese was coming out but it was only on the program and not in the restaurant. The kids kept asking if he was coming. Also there was a change in staff after we initially came in and the new staff members were listening to earbuds and watching their phones. Also there was a girl in the back on the floor and she was cleaning tables but after awhile she was just laying on the floor listening to her earbuds. She stayed there for over an hour. After you enter the front there isnt much reason to talk to the staff but laying on the floor? The kids had fun and asked to go back.

2022-06-19Not that anything is going to change or is it first time, this place has lost its credibility. Very very poor management with little to no concern for clients. A simple cheese pizza takes over an hour and if you ask someone to check on your order they never come back to reply. No front desk staff for several minutes. I am probably not going to come back and others can decide on their own.

2022-02-05Worst time. Outside was not shoveled. The employees seemed very lazy or uninterested in helping at all. The salad bar clearly states per nys law to use a new clean plate and the employee refused to give me one. Plus the salad bar was far from appetizing. Horrible experience checking out my kids tickets while about 5 employees walked by to not help. Never again.

2022-05-03Took the kids here for a birthday party. The woman who was supposed to take care of the party was nowhere to be seen most of the party, even after being told that she was being waited for. When she finally showed up to bring the cups for everybody everyone had already eaten their pizza and moved on. Many of the games were broken which led to several upset kids which is frustrating for any parent. Then we were waiting in line to get our prizes, and nobody was there to help us. There were clearly two girls that werent doing anything but they were socializing in the back room and laughing. We waited in line for 15 minutes before the girl in the right lane said she would help us and another impatient customer from the right lane rushed in front of us and she helped them instead. I was so incredibly frustrated. My KIDS were so incredibly frustrated. I teach them about patience and being polite and Ive never had an issue with them being impatient but even they had enough. It absolutely ruined their first time here in years. Ill stick to Billy beez in the future.
