Perfect for what we needed. Spent most of our time at Niagra Falls. Showers were clean and a good amount of water pressure and hot water. Full hook ups and 50 amp supply all worked well. The camp ground is not large, but it is quiet other than some road noise. The site we has was plenty deep for our 5er and truck. Price seemed reasonable for the location.
Most affordable RV camping on Grand Island. We had a quiet, pleasant stay for about 1 month. The RV sites directly behind the motel are on soft gravel, causing any size RV to sink. We managed to stabilize our 5th wheel before it became out of level, however this really needs to be fixed. Otherwise a nice place to stay.
The campground was very clean, the staff was very nice. It is reasonably priced especially for the area, only 15 minutes from the Falls. As others have said, the spaces are tight, but we really didnt have any issues at all and will definitely be back! The only negative thing which was not necessarily the campgrounds doing, but whoever they have contracted to do their grass cutting- the 2nd evening, right at dinner time 2 men showed up to cut and weedwack the grass, the men literally were stepping all over our outdoor mat while we were trying to cook dinner and we were getting pelted with grass clippings, stones, and branches. The following evening they showed up again at the same time and were cutting at other occupied campsites.
We stayed in the campground which is behind the hotel. Its an older facility but the rats were reasonable, hookups worked fine, the sites were nice and level and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Theres WiFi at the office and probably at the hotel, but the signal did not reach our site. The front sites may get it. A grocery store is just down the road and the location is great for visiting Niagara Falls! They had Passport America rates in October; not sure about other months, so make sure you check, especially in high season. I dont know about the restrooms or showers as we did not use them.
Definitely look elsewhere. The best I can say is that it was mowed. The sites are so narrow the next sites sewer and water were 7 feet from our door. Our electric and water and sewer were on opposite side of the site. We could not leave our vehicle attached and there was no space to park next to our trailer. There was no picnic table or fire ring without taking from another site. And we had one of the wider sites and only a 20 foot trailer. Possibly separate reviews of motel and campground. Definitely look elsewhere. I feel mislead by the reviews. Questioning?
I give it 4 because you are super close to Niagra Falls. And because the price we paid with our passport America discount. The campground its self is very clean. Fairly level. There are Motel rooms, rv sites and tents sites. It is very tight quarters all the way around. Hook ups are very close to your neighbors and you only get a spot big enough for a picnic table. We didnt need to but if we had wanted to open our awning or put out our rug we couldnt there was just no room. But for price, the closeness to the falls it was worth it.
The staff, Liz, was very kind and helpful. The campground itself was very small overall and also, the size of the sites were small. Many sites shared breaker boxes with others as well as picnic tables and fire pits. They didnt sell firewood and the tenants/guests in the motel were a bit trashy. Overall I dont know that I would stay here again.
Thank God for simple problems.Just pulled in, electric pole on wrong side, Im about 10 feet short. Water is in the back of site my hose is 5 feet short. But the site is beautiful and overnight it was peaceful and quiet. Well, not quiet, plenty of natural sounds though. We are extending our stay an extra week to take advantage of the location and the weather.
Decent rooms for the price, campground/ R.V park in the back. Nothing to do for children though. Definitely worth the stay if your stay for extended amount of time, you wont find anything cheaper thats as nice. Owners were great, very helpful and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
A great place on Grand Island, NY. It has a campground behind the motel that is camper and RV useable. Our room was not super big but neither was the price we paid in comparison to most other local hotels, like 50% cheaper. The mattress was new and the bathroom has been recently updated with a nice tile/glass shower (room 12). Only complaint was that the shower needs a stool, and the fridge was not powered when we checked in (likely due to the room next door being renovated as well) fixed quickly...
Good clean campground. Great value. Paved roads, level gravel Sites are close together, but there is lots of open space in the middle. 50amp, full hook ups, trees provide shade at many sites. No pool or playground, but there is a covered pavillion. Close to Niagra attractions.
Pricing is very deceptive - advertise Passport America - but Jack up rate by saying the regular rate is $80, but summer special is $50. Summer special is from April through November. This way they charge 50% off this inflated regular price. Spots are extremely tight - awning almost touches RV next to you. However, most of the sites form a horseshoe around a lovely parklike setting of grass, trees and picnic pavilion. So nice view in front of you for sites #5 and up - 2, 3 and 4 get view of the dumpster. Still a much better rate than the national chain down the road if you are only staying for a couple of days.
Great communication before our stay and even though we came in very late they called and were very accomodating. We didnt use much of the facilities other than hookups for the night to refill and empty tanks. But it was a safe place to stay. Sites are a bit narrow but suited us just fine.
This is an outstanding location to see Niagra from. Its not real fancy but the host was pleasant and the bathrooms were clean. We extended out stay twice to see more sites. Our favorites were the American Falls side and Ft. Niagra. Canadian side was only OK as they push the tourist trap junk.
This is the best motel i stayed at while on the road, the staff are so friendly and courteous, they keep the rooms immaculate and its a family-pet friendly campground.the rooms are retro, while still staying current with the times. i loved the feeling of stepping back in time while taking a shower in the old fashioned showers with the old time tubs.was a pleasant, relaxing stay and i look forward to returning. awesome place!!!!!!
This is a very nice park it is no longer passport America but the rates are 40 dollars a night. We are staying for three days which works out to the same amount we would have paid with passport America. The spaces are nice and the people are friendly. It is also very convenient to everything you might want to see
This place was recommended to us by niagara falls information center. We had an rv but didnt reserved anything for the laborday weekend. This campground has full hookups and cable. Hot shower and laundry. No activities for kids. Our group has only adults, so its nice and quiet for us. Free wifi only near the office. Frpm the street their motel looks seedy, but their shower is actually clean and well kept.

2022-06-18The KOA down the road wanted $195/night! This place was perfect. Are the RV sites close? Yes. But if you’re coming to see Niagara Falls this place is great. We did a tour that picked us up in the parking lot or you can drive yourself there in about 15 minutes. The bath/laundry house was spotless. The grounds are well maintained. I worried when I didn’t get an email confirmation after booking, but that’s just how they do it here. Simple, but good.

2022-06-20We stayed for a few months over the summer and had a great stay. Its a no frills RV park, but its quiet and clean! Its also the most affordable place in the area. Guests have access to wifi, bathrooms/showers and laundry. All clean facilities! RV spaces are a little tight if youve got people on both sides of you...but thats our only complaint.

2021-06-1006/10/21- The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful with my questions on the area. They accept Passport America so it was a great inexpensive stay. The park is clean and well laid out, the bathrooms are very clean. The sites are level and are good size. Best value camping in the area!!

2019-07-25Nothing negative to say about this place! The office staff are very nice, the gravel lots & grass of the campground are all nicely maintained. The shower/laundry/bathroom facility is very nice & I like that there is a door code to get into it. It probably prevents non-campers from using it & as a woman, it makes you feel safer in the shower. The campground is not huge, so make your reservations early! Really is a nice little place with clean facilities. I have Passport America & it was a decent price with that. The office staff even sent out my postage paid postcards. Loved it!

2021-10-24Sites are super close together. There were 2 tree stumps on our site, I tripped and fell over one of them.. my husband went to the office to tell them,, the lady says,, huh,, we havent cut any trees down on your site! They do have laundry.
