CINDERELLA NAILS & SPA in other cities:
Excellent products used. The women that work there are mean and nasty. Highly recommend asking for a male or the owner. First place ever that held my nail gel polish for almost 3 weeks. I recommend this business ~ just dont allow the females to treat you bad. There is one especially mean. She is on the heavy side. Never wears a name badge. She doesnt understand English very well. She is a complete B ----! She shouldnt be working there.
Fantastic service, creative artists, soothing ambiance, a plethora of nail colors and other services on offer, invigorating massages and friendly staff make this the best nail salon in Rochester. They always get you the best deal possible and they give you hard candy on your way out!
The pedicure itself was nice. My technician was friendly and did a good job. However, the overall environment did not feel welcoming or friendly. I also got bit by a spider on my foot while sitting at the dryer station. Definitely an usual thing to happen, but it did. Overall, i was satisfied with my pedicure but probably would not go back here.
I went there to get a fill 3 days ago. First of all it was outrageously priced for a fill and a manicure... Second, my nails started to chip 1 day after I went. Third, it hasn’t been even two days and two of my nails already fell off. Not impressed and will not be going back.
I used to go here all the time. After a while I felt the atmosphere had totally changed. I felt like the technician felt was doing me a favor for doing my nails. She was so rude, I ended up hating getting my nails done. Im a loyal customer but enough is enough. Found a new salon who make me feel special!
I planned a pedicure spa for my spouse and I for his birthday. As I entered, it wasn’t a very welcoming atmosphere!! The workers all seem to get you seated, and then the rushing began ! My husband was in that chair for less then 30 minutes. We both were done less then an hour for pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was awful, the polishing and the cleaning looked unprofessional, I could have did a better job. Overall, the place was not relaxing and it wasn’t worth the money.
BE AWARE for the payment - keep your receipt and check how much they charge later in your statement. I as a parent will NEVER send my daughters to this nail spa. They are minors and I found later they charged more than kids signed and paid by credit - they must have expected more tips? It is absolutely No No No to charge more than they signed. They are not professional to change the fees *without* asking customers. I am calling my credit card company, report it, and ask for dispute. The business here is dishonest. I would never trust them again, once these things happen, and I was not happy they treat minors like this as if they would not notice it - someone would eventually notice when people are dishonest - it is impossible to keep lying in this world.
Thee worst pedicure I ever had. I chose to get the basic one for $25 for my daughter and I. They took us both spent less than 10 minutes, washed our feet, filed for Less that 2 minutes, quick polish and on top of it my lady was rude and pushy. I have been to many different places high end spas to quick in and out places and had descent pedicures. This place never again! Don’t waste your money!!
They did such a great job! It was my first time getting nails done and I will be back! The only thing is they started 10 minutes after the appointment was scheduled. This was fine for me but just wanted to point it out. They were careful and still finished quickly. The only problem was my nail technician was not very patient with me since it was my first time but overall the service was great.
Overpriced and rushed service. Got a gel manicure tonight. There was no cuticle work, pumice rub, hand massage or anything. He used an electric file and was rough and so fast. Im unclear as to why he electric filed my entire nail. I didnt have gel polish on when I came in and I feel like this process was extremely unhealthy for my natural nails. The entire top layer of my nails was filed off. This place felt like a factory. There are much better places around, like Bolsa Nails on S Clinton.
At the very least I can say is my nails looked great for a couple days. The gel pealed off and took acrylic with it (at the cuticles), I went in and they said “it’s my fault and they fix for $40 and come back” mind you they had a ton of staff reading but no one was available to “fix”. I’m reasonable and do not expect it for free, I’ve had my nails done for years and never a problem until now! And they speak perfectly fine when it’s your problem but not while your getting your nails done! Do NOT waste your time or money!
I made an appointment on the recommendation of a few coworkers. I showed up a half hour early and they took me in right away. I was willing to wait. I took some time picking a color and they sat me with a very young looking guy. He was polite, gentle and took time to make sure my nails were perfect. I was in the spa for less than a half hour for my first nail dip manicure.
They were fantastic. I made my appointment this morning online and when I got there I was instantly greeted with a smile and a hello. After I checked in they double checked exactly what I wanted (pedicure and a dip powder manicure) and told me to pick a color for my toes. After I picked my color they had me sit in one of the massage pedicure chairs and got me set up and had me pick a color for my fingers. During the pedicure they had me soaking my color off. The pedicure was clean and relaxing and it didn’t tickle (my feet are very ticklish). Once my pedicure was over they took me to a chair for my manicure which was clean and flawless. I couldn’t of had a more wonderful experience!
If you are looking forgood customer service & long lasting nails DO NOT GO HERE.I came in for my first appointment wanting a full set of coffin nails which I usually pay about $45 for anywhere else, I was charged $65 which is totally fine if the service was good & my nails turn out fine. The entire time the nail tech treated me like an inconvenience, constantly sighing heavily and definitely rushing the process. The nails looked nice when I left but one day later a nail snapped off, I’ve never had a nail break within a day and I’ve had long acrylics for years. I go back the day it broke (1 day after I got them done) they fix my nail and then proceed to try to charge me $5 more dollars for fixing the nail. They proceeded to blame me for not being gentle with my nails as if it was my fault my nail broke, not their poor application. If I am paying $65 for a full set it better last more than a day. I work in the beauty industry and I would never treat someone the way I was treated at this salon. I am not the type of person to write a bad review but I really felt this was necessary.
I have been going to Cinderella nails for a long time but won’t be anymore. I went in on Tuesday for acrylic nails with gel on top. I kept asking the guy to file them shorter and he said no. They’re my nails... but ok. Of course I let it go. Then the color started coming off, so when I went back in today for a pedicure, I asked them to file them shorter and put another coat of gel on. They said no and charged me $10 because “it is a lot of work to make acrylics shorter”. Excuse me? So of course, I said whatever and said I would pay the 10$. She proceeded to file my nails and buffer them, so all of the gel color came off. When I asked if she was going to put gel color back on, she said no, it would be $10 more dollars to put gel on and she put a clear coat of regular polish on top! For something that was their fault in the first place cost me $10 for nothing, and would’ve cost me $10 more for them to replace the gel polish. Needless to say I am furious and will never be going to this joke of an establishment ever again. SAVE UR MONEY and go across the street to NY pro nails. Much better service and much nicer people!
Horrible job, rude staff, not relaxing, and complete waste of time and money. Staff was extremely rude to me and my friend. My nail chipped 2 days after that experience ( $160 between the 2 of us) so I went back to get it fixed. I stood for 5 minutes completely unacknowledged before anybody greeted me. A guy and a girl conversed amongst themselves— not in English of course. The girl said to me “We too busy to fix one nail. You come back”. SERIOUSLY??? They won’t last despite the remodel and nicely decorated inside. False advertising. Don’t do it!!!
Got a basic gel manicure 11/27/19, came back 12/5/19 to have gel removed due to both index fingers cracking & chipping, as well as one thumb.Charged me to have gel polished removed even though the only reason I wanted it removed was because it was cracking & chipping!Over priced.Charge extra for more than one color nail polish.Service was awful. Staff is not friendly & come off a bit rude.
I have been coming here for pedicures since it opened almost a year ago. At first they were great! But every time I have gone the service quality has decreased. I have been going back monthly to give it a chance thinking it was just a bad technician. But this time was the worse. My daughter and I had pedicures. The pedicures took 25 minute. Definitely not long enough for a pedicure. They did not soak our feet, they exfoliated our feet for less than a minute (yes I timed it because I was so annoyed). Didn’t even exfoliate my whole foot. The guy who did my feet, never even looked at me. It was like they wanted to just get to the next person and didn’t care about the quality of their work. My daugter’s technician was the same. When I got home, my feet were not soft or manicured cleanly. I feel like it was a total waste of time and money. I am so annoyed. I did complain but I was shrugged off. I will not be returning.
I’ve never seen a more rude staff in my life. Not a hello or good-bye. She had the energy to remove the paper from my left foot but, kept the right one on. Left me there in the chair. Never said she was done. Didn’t even open the arm rest as a courtesy. I’m sorry but, if I’m paying an extra $20 for a gel pedicure, I better be treated like Cinderella. No stars should definitely be an option. Won’t be back.
If I could give no stars I would. I have been to this salon multiple times over several years and had great service. I took my daughter today for her last day of school by APPOINTMENT. First was told no time for a manicure only pedicure. Then when the gentleman started doing my daughters toes(shes 10!) She was a little wiggly and he very rudely starts throwing a visible attitude about it. I ASKED if there was a problem and he got very nasty. I asked to leave and just forget it and the owner came over and asked someone else to take over. At the end all the owner had to say with a smirk on her face was oh sorry about that. I will not return and that will be quite a bit of business lost for them
Me and my friend had pedicures schedule at 12 pm, got there at 12pm and they were done with our pedicure At 12:25pm. She did not cut my nails, I had to ask her 3 times to cut them down, no clean up of the cuticles, or under the nails. If you just want soak and polish then go here but to actually get a pedicure don’t even bother. Oh and I got a nail infection when I got a manicure as well.
Made an appointment, and they still made me wait half an hour! The service was horrible, and the guy doing my cuticles was WAY too rough. He made me bleed twice! Then he rushed to do my gel nails so that he could get to the next person waiting. My gel nail on my index finger completely peeled off this morning randomly, after 2 DAYS! They are overpriced as well, DO NOT GO HERE.
My girlfriend and I went in for a pedicure each and she got her nails done. They were fast clean and the service was very reasonably priced. I got a 10 min chair massage, hand parafin dip, and she got her nails done with a gel polish. All for $105. Plus tip. Id recommend them to other people.
Gel polish chips in one day. They fix it, still chips in one day. Why does my gel polish from every other place in town not chip? I went there because it was open on Sunday but then I had to go back Monday Wednesday Friday in my polish is chipped again and I paid the extra $25 for the YSL polish.Theyre fast and they look good at first until they completely chip the next day and this was not the first time its happened one other time here but I thought if I got the YSL polish and paid an extra $25 for it that it might go okay it didnt.
Visited 3 weeks ago and my nails still look like I just got them done!!! They use quality polish as being on the beach with my toes buried in the sand didnt even chip them!!! Nail tech was manager as they were busy and he was amazing!!!!!Space is generous which gives a nice feel. Lots of options with services. This is my new nail place!!
I have come here for about 8 months. They do good work but lack professionalism. Also, nail technicians seem to transition in and out frequently. One time when I was there, a group of young technicians were joking with one another in their native language. It was clear that they were talking about their clients. Today the woman doing my pedicure began mumbling under her breath in an exasperated tone. When I asked if it was that bad, she shook her head yes. This has been my go to spot over the past year, but I am likely switching after this experience.
What a horrible experience! Myself, the bride, and another bridesmaid made an appointment to get our nails done the day before he wedding. As I sat to get my toes done I told them 5 times that I only wanted my toes done and not my legs because I just got a spray tan. Despite my many attempts he continued to scrub my legs almost taking off my spray tan. Then as I got my ANC nails done, he took out he wrong color and kept telling me I was wrong until I proved him wrong. The entire time he did my nails he was aggressive and rugged at my hands and kept slapping my nails to tell me to move. It was so unprofessional and rushed. To finish it off my nails look horrible!
This is the WORST nail salon I’ve EVER been to! If I could give zero or even negative stars I would!’ Seriously please trust me and do NOT waste your money or time because you’ll just have to end up going somewhere else to get it all fixed. I went for a full set of coffin nails and a pedicure. First off I have severe Autoimmune Diseases and take a medicine that causes me to bruise very easily, so my legs are literally covered in bruises. The tech doing my nails even asked me about it and I explained to her the situation. Without asking she then proceeded to start “massaging” my legs. It was so painful and I kept telling her to please stop, and she’d say “I do lighter.” And then it would be the same. I finally just picked my legs up and told her to stop. I’d just gotten a new OPI color that I was very excited about that a salon I’d just previously gotten my nails done at had. I brought it with me just in case this one didn’t because it is a newer color. They didn’t have it so I asked if I could use mine. She said no problem!! I also wanted matte nail polish. I’m a matte girl. First she asked what I was talking about. So I explained to her what matte was and had to show her a pic of it. I’d also brought my own OPI matte top coat in case I ran into this problem. Their main nail polish is OPI mind you. When I handed her my bottle of nail polish and top coat she held up the top coat and started yelling across the salon, not in English holding it up showing other techs. Apparently it was the first time they’d ever seen the product. This is when I knew I was in really big trouble. She then asked me how to use it. So finally after she puts on the nail polish and matte top coat she says “$5 up charge for polish and $5 up charge for the top coat.” I was flabbergasted!! I asked why and she said it was because I used my own nail polish and she had to apply the top coat EVEN THO she would’ve applied a clear topcoat anyways. And she used MY products!! I was then sat 5 stations down from my friend who I’d made the appt with so I asked if we could be sat next to each other since we were trying to have a girls day. Well omg you would’ve thought I asked for one of their kidneys! Huffing, puffing, throwing stuff around and quite obviously talking about me to the other techs. I then explained to her exactly what I wanted. I has to show her a pic of coffin nails. She was so annoyed at the fact that that’s what I wanted it made me feel so incredibly uncomfortable and as if I was being a bother for asking to get my nails done at a nail salon!! She rushed, she constantly just threw my hands around and when it came time for color I told her I wanted exactly what was on my toes and I was told NO 😱 She said “I can’t do nail polish only dip.” At this point I was furious! So I had to now try to find a color that kinda looked like what I had on my toes. The selection is ridiculous and the swatches look NOTHING like the dip itself on the nails. Something that was supposed to cost around $85 total ended up costing me $109 because of ALL of the up charges. For a nail place to refuse to do nail polish is literally mind boggling. I’d also like to note that I could’ve done these myself at home better, with no attitude and being talked about in front of my face in a different language and with MY OWN products without an up charge!! Lol So I did come home and fix my nails and painted them myself. And I’m going to another salon in 2 days to have a new set put on correctly. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS SALON!!
This was THE WORST manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. I asked for gel polish on my toes and it was $20 EXTRA. The guy kept watching the football game and pausing/stopping my pedicure to pay attention to the tv. When they did my manicure they did not even soak my nails to cut the cuticles or put any lotion on my hands. They also made two of my fingers bleed. To top it off I saw them re-using paper towels by shaking off all of the nail clippings and filings into the garbage and then folding up the paper towels and putting them back on the drawer. Completely disgusting! If there were zero stars that’s what I would rate them. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s also overpriced.
Avoid at all costs. I went for a gel mani this past Saturday and the lady who did my nails filed them crooked, and cut my finger with the tool they used to remove the gel from my previous manicure. She has no idea what she was doing and the worst part was that several of the stuff observed her struggling including someone who appeared to be in a leadership role and they didn’t intervene at any point. The gel began peeling yesterday so I called and to their credit they did offer for me to come back and fix the mani free of charge but since my experience was so poor I chose to go to another salon to get a totally new gel manicure. I question if some of these folks are licensed. Also, after the tech cut my finger I did not see her clean the tool. Beware!
Awful. ‘Dip Polish’ was not hygienic. Unprofessional manner to which it was rapidly applied and dipped 3x!!! Safety Hazard: re-dipped into same bowl!!! Employees all wore masks, never offered the client one. Never asked how the client was feeling or doing during the entire process. It was a type of acrylic and they never even told us!!! I recommend people do not go there.
I have given this place multiple chances and every time have been dissapointed. The majority of the time they do a good job on my nails but they take forever, I usually have to wait 5-10 minutes even when I have an appointment. They have cut me multiple times or burned my skin and never apologize. Would not recommend!
Horrible! The owner/ staff may do fine with a manicure however they know nothing about acrylics! There is only one person that does acrylics and he wanted to do a fill without removing the lifting near the nail bed! I had lifting and water underneath and he wanted to fill over the damage. Ive been doing acrylics for over 30 years. Cinderella Nails had NO clue. Are the techs even licensed?I wonder how long they will stay in business?
This place may look fancy and have all types of nail applications and colors but, the way they practice is not sanitary. They re-use the same nail file on each client. I tried their dip nails and they dip your finger in the powder jar as well as some makeup brush to clean off excess powder which is filthy! I normally dont write bad reviews but I wont be returning here.
Awful. They wont do ombre. I asked for a colored acrylic (light pink nothing spectacular) and they said they only have it in dip. I asked if it was as strong as regular acrylic and they said its the same. Its not..... The shape is all warped, the gel top coat chipped after 3 days, 2 nails broke after a week, another is cracked and I already need a fill
Wheew...okay Ill try to be professional. Dont waste your money. The staff was brisk and rude. The guy who did my nails had a sour look the entire time. He was extremely rough while removing my acrylics ; my nail started bleeding and I felt like I was in some kind of horror movie lol. He kept telling me to relax even though I literally couldnt be more relaxed given the circumstances. Plus he smudged my nail and just left it to dry like that...I rarely leave negative reviews but there are much better salons in that price range. 😐
Every time i go to Cinderella Nails I am always more than satisfied with my nails. I get a gel mani and every person who has done my nails has done a great job. Recently I had a crack in my nail and thought i was going to have to get it filed down, but Kevin did a great job repairing it and they look great! This is my new go-to nail salon.
I had the absolute worst experience here I got my nails done and went to work and Within an hour of being there they started peeling right off and one broke .The next day I go back and ask for a refund because it was 50 bucks just for a polish change on acrylic ! And they refused to give me a fill because they didn’t have time . When I asked for a refund she said there was nothing she could do other than try to fix it but of course I didn’t trust them to ruin them again ! I will never go back again and I’ll be sure to tell everyone not to go there .
Went here for a pedicure and should have walked out. The place is clean and nice looking but the staff rude and disrespectful. I waited for ten minutes without a simple hello, we will be right with you! The staff doesnt speak English and get pissy if you cant understand them? Excuse me but you are in the United States and you have no problem taking our money-so learn the language! They also will talk about you and give you dirty looks if you dare tell them you want your nails done a certain way. Even though youre paying for it, how dare you speak up. I also gave a five dollar tip and was given a dirty look-excuse me but you would get 25 cents in your country-so go back! The man who did the pedicure had a poor attitude and was rough- dont waste your time here- you w ont be relaxed rather feel on edge and not welcome.
Heard great things about this place. Drove over an hour to come to get the green tea special that was listed on their web and on their menu.. On both it listed that it included green tea pedicure, free pariffin. Hot shoulder wrap and 30 minute chair massage. They insisted that it was only a 15 minute chair massage and that the shoulder wrap meant hot towels on your legs?! I tried to get a further explanation as to why on both their in house menu and website it said different and all the sudden none of the 8 employees spoke English. Complete BS.Services that we did receive were good but lots of false advertising.
I Been Here a Few Times, My Last Two Visits Was Terrible! I Felt Really Uncomfortable as if I wasnt welcomed. I had an appointment scheduled for 12:30 They Had Me Waiting a Hour Than a lady walked in & she had no appointment and they started Her Nails Right Away, At That Point I Left I Will Not Be Going Back.
Not worthy of one star. Very disappointed. Customer Service is terrible. Nail person was very rude and unappreciative to my five dollar tip. Nails look horrible and it hasnt been 24hours since the visit. Should not have young men doing womens nails if they cannot behave with respect.
So this is my daughters birthday weekend her and her baby sister went to this place after make an appointment earlier in the week after arriving there and the gentleman Im going to call him a gentleman but I could call him something else decided that he didnt want to work one of my daughters feet because shes overweight well thats just discrimination you got a business you offer a service and they had the money not to mention the fact that they were black so he not only was extremely nasty with them he told them what he would do and wouldnt do even though they were asking for a different service they made this appointment earlier in the week thinking that they were going to start their Saturday off real nice they were rude they didnt receive what they wanted and then the guy put the nail polish on her toes and tells her to sit there and wait till it dry and he leaves the building not to be seen anymore I dont recommend them to anybody I wouldnt take my dog there to get a pedicure there very rude and if this is how you treat people you should go out of business because people have paid hard-earned money to get a service and not to be treated like the racist people that you are.
Terrible! The kids, and I do mean kids, that work here do not know how to cut cuticles. Each time they are tugging on my cuticles like theyre plucking chicken feathers. I end up with lots of hanging cuticles after the service. They barely scrub the bottom of your feet, very cursory pedicure and manicure.
NO STARS. worst service ever. Extremely RUSHED. Think it’s time you train your staff on how to treat customers who are paying to have a “relaxing service.” Almost told the kid to stop so I could just walk out. I’ll never understand how it’s acceptable to have customer service like this.

2022-09-19Great Service. Took my daughter and 4 of her friends for her birthday to get pedicures. We got there for our appointment and sat right away. All the girls enjoyed their pedicures and it was a nice relaxing setting.

2022-08-27Let me start by saying that I NEVER leave bad reviews for any business, but I just can’t let this one go. I went for a gel pedi ($50), and I’m not exaggerating when I say a small child would have done better. I picked a color to match my dress for a wedding and was just looking for a nice simple pedi, what I received was blood and burning from being cut, the nail polish doesn’t even reach the edges of my nails and the guy audibly was huffing and puffing like it was a bother for him to be doing my nails. I feel it’s SO unfair that I now have to go spend more money and have them redone a day later. It was not only the WORST pedicure I’ve ever had, but definitely the rudest nail tech EVER.

2022-03-16If I could give zero stars, I honestly would. First of all, plain pedicures here start off at $39 which is absolutely ridiculous. Then, if you like gel, they try telling you they have to add an extra $20 to your service. I originally had picked a brown color, and they tried telling me that specific color would add on $35. UNHEARD OF. Employees were rude, and did not provide good services. Left there with sharp rough edges on my toes and my sisters were unfinished and polish smudged all over her skin. Not to mention they didn’t even exfoliate my feet or take the second it takes to put lotion on. Left with crusty, dry, itchy feet and legs and a completely botched pedicure. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

2021-11-28I will never go back here.. the lady who did my nails kept laughing and calling over the other workers to look at my nails. they all just laughed. i had so much anxiety sitting in there. it wasn’t until i left that i noticed my nails were so bad, especially my thumb. it was so poorly shaped and uneven. the fact that she knew it was messed up, didn’t bother to fix it, and kept it going as a joke is so wrong! on top of that, i went with 4 other friends (we all left for vacation the day after). they were all asked if they wanted a massage while their nails were drying. she did not ask me. i hate myself for leaving a good tip

2019-04-27My son wanted to go here for his bday...yes my son! He loves the foot care and hand care involved in pedi and mani. There were five of us. I called on Thursday at 2:00pm and they were able to accommodate all of us at 2pm. Three of us were males and they were very accepting, no judgement! Prices were reasonable, #2 on their chart was perfect!!! Thank you for such wonderful experience! We will be back!

2021-06-07Had my nails done Friday June 4th. I decided to try a new place closer to my house. The man that did my nails shaped them poorly, seemed irritated, and painted them so badly that the gel bubbled and peeled off the next day. I get long acrylics regularly and have never been so upset with the outcome of my nails. The building is very nice inside and prices are a bit more so I was expecting a good outcome. I’ve never seen gel polish bubble and peel off the way it did. I also got a pedicure and paid $90 for my awful acrylic fill and smudged pedicure. I didn’t realize how awful they were until I got home unfortunately
