There’s so much to say i don’t even know where to start. workers are absolutely obnoxious (some not all) and if you ever take a close look at the “manger special” it’s just expired items that they haven’t sold, that’s cold criollos market really cold. i can’t even continue with this review that’s how awful my experience was.. NEVER again giving cirillos market a dime from my pocket.
No way people, lets get real. They sell recycle chicken. Reclean with bleach and packages of chicken swallen,GREEN stuff on it. ELL!!! Check the meat before u buy.I have pictures.I am tried of returning it. I do not buy there produce there any more. YES, staff is a nice feature.
Let me start by stating that the manager, Gustavo; extremely rude, incompetent to say the least. The cashiers are in most cases overwhelmed by the customers as the day progresses and the store becomes busier. There are 6 registers and only 3, (sometimes 2) are manned by cashiers at any given time throughout the stores business hours. Customers who would like their favorite products to be stocked as requested can expect to wait an eternity while Gustavo fails on his promise to order said items. Upon having a conversation with Gustavo I noticed that he speaks with a very condescending tone, Im not sure why he believes he can speak this way to individuals and customers but Id say that it is his obligation as store manager to maintain the utmost respect for each and every guest that walks through those sometimes broken sliding doors. I will also mention that the deli workers, one white woman in particular, seems very rude upon approaching the counter to place an order. A young man behind the counter can also be seen eating the food that is prepared for the customers and continuing to serve customers after his gloved hands have made contact with his own mouth. Aside from the above, a cashier by the name of Jim is also not equipped with the capability of fully respecting the customers, he can be seen on his phone constantly texting and scrolling away, upon approaching Jim you might expect to be standing there waiting for a minute or two as he completes his task at hand on his cell phone. My overall summary of this independently owned IGA is great disappointment and dissatisfaction. I urge any new comers to quickly start towards a better and friendlier local grocer.
The review by Ben Dover is obviously by a disgruntled employee or one of the really crazy sour people who shop there.....and there are many. Ben Dover does not exist....it is a fake name derived from Bend Over get it? and let me be clear......there are many fussy sour people who shop at the Amagansett IGA who have little difficulty in life and are sheltered by the quite village of Amagansett. They are entitled and few people pay any attention to them which makes them very bitter. These are the people who are hyper critical and enter the store looking for a fight because they have so little going on in their lives.... so tell me who you are Ben Dover because that is not your real name. And grow up.

2021-04-03This place has all your groceries needs when you are in the amagansett area! They have produce to bread to meat to frozen foods! Service was good and the place looks clean. I would have wanted more local goods. But check this place out for food!

2021-09-12The shelves have been bare lately-probably because everyone lost their minds due to a storm. Theres always an orderly line, the store is very clean and the employees are helpful. I wish there were more cashiers open on a Friday evening, but from what I heard its almost impossible to get help these days-nonetheless, I always find either what I need or a substitute.

2022-04-03Low-key grocery store that has a bit of everything. Wish they had more bread choices though.

2021-07-13This is a grocery store, not a supermarket, but theyve actually done a nice job given the space constraints. They have a nice variety of items, definitely tailored to a Hamptons crowd. I feel like they are trying to provide specialty items while still functioning as a grocery store and youll definitely find items you wouldnt see even in supermarkets. Still, you wont necessarily be able to find everything on your list--you certainly wont find the discount version of everything on your list anyway. Prices are high but not abnormally for the areas/items--Ive easily spent as much in King Kullen. The produce is generally fresh and they have a good selection. If youre out for the summer, youll find items tailored to your needs. If youre a local, this is a good spot to pick something up and bigger than the Montauk IGA, but I still run to King Kullen if I have a really big list.

2020-12-05I absolutely love the supermarket, they always have the products Im looking for and at great prices and added plus is the butcher you can talk to. he will recommend cuts of meat that are a little different than the normal grocery store cuts that you get out of the fridge, and they are just as good and at a great price. Being able to talk to someone who is knowledgeable about what youre doing is priceless.

2021-02-05You can find really good olives, plump peppadews and other goodies. The supermarket is clean. The cashier didnt want to be there though. No eye contact, and we had to guess we were supposed to pack our own bags. The lack of good customer service makes me avoid this market as much as I can. Still, beggars cant be choosers right??
