Very good location in Long Island City and clean and convenient facility. 4 stars instead of 5 comes from very frequent price hikes on the units and not very competitive pricing. Also, they have an incredibly high price for cutting a lock, a service many storage places supply for free, but citywide charges over $40 per lock (cant recall exact amount) to have their guy use his big lock cutter taking all of 1 minute. People at front desk are very helpful. Great storage, but very high prices.
I have been dealing with Citiwide Self Storage now for three years and their services are just incredible. The women in the office are just great. If you have any questions about prices, unit sizes, directions, etc. the women in the office will help you out. Since I have been dealing with Citiwide Laura and Silva in the office have been so helpful I really cant begin to thank them for all they have done. Citiwides low prices are great, the elevator operators are friendly, the building is very well kept, and the bathrooms are always clean. They brag about their easy train access and rightfully so since they are just feet from the trains. I drive in to load and unload stuff so the train access means nothing to me, but theres so much room with their many loading docks its hassle free. Every single person who works at Citiwide Self Storage is knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with, and very helpful. I recommend Citiwide Self Storage all the time to people because they are the best at what they do.
Very happy with the storage, but most important I am impressed with the outstanding customer service. I have great respect for Shaun, who is a great representative, as well as for the management who is are very helpful. I will recommend to everyone in need of a less of a hassle storage space. Open every day and despite some technical difficulties with elevators, they always have a backup plan and for that I will give them 5 stars.
I have been a client of Citiwide since 1997. They are always helpful & professional. The building is always clean. Ms. Sylvia who works the Front desk is always friendly and a great help. It is a pleasure talking to her about anything I need. Keep up the great work Citiwide!!
I wanted to share how pleased I was today w the service from Anthony and Timothy of Citiwide Storage. They were extremely polite, helpful and professional. 10 out of 10! If only all service people were as awesome! We are renovating our house so have had A LOT of deliveries and in every other situation the items were damaged, chipped, broken and the delivery folks refused to help bring in, set up or cart away the boxes. Citiwide did all of those things! My faith in humanity is restored.
Ive rented at this place twice; the storage is very clean and move-in ready. The customer service have exceed my expectations every single time. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. What stood out the most is when I came to rent a storage for the second time, the lady who helped me setup (her name is Maia) REMEMBERED my name -- talk about having my mind blown. I will definitely come back in the future, and will recommended this place to all my friends.
Ive been a customer at Citiwide for a few years now, and have never regretted it. The customer service is top-notch, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating, even when Ive had some emergency last-minute storage needs. The location is unbeatable--its right by the Court Square station, which means easy access from the 7,E,M, and G trains, so its a very short trip to/from Manhattan & Brooklyn. So since you dont have to schlep out to the middle of nowhere, Citiwide is great for storing items that you dont want taking up space in your apartment, but still want quick access to. Highly recommended.
All the staffs I have met are very nice and professional. Its truly the best rental storage experience I have ever had. As for pricing, I think they are reasonable given the location.
When I was looking for a storage facility, I researched every facility in Long Island and City and the surrounding areas. Like everyone else, finding the most cost-effective solution is important to me. Although there prices werent the lowest, they had the best hours, easiest layout, and the best customer service. I cant even count the number of times the staff has gone the extra mile to make sure that I was taken care of as a customer.My unit is used to store products that I sell in my business and I feel 100% confident in the security measures they have in place. I also send and receive packages regularly at Citiwide. My work aside, I look forward to interacting with the warm staff on every visit.
Citiwide has such a great staff that is pleasant and accommodating. I have been there for both personal and business storage needs for years and am very happy. I highly recommend them.

I have been using Citiwide for 6 months and I love it! I am there quite frequently (a few times a week) and most of the time have to be in and out very quickly. I am always able to get what I need and get out of there. Also the staff is always friendly and accommodating to my needs.Before I joined Citiwide, I did a lot of research and found them to have the best hours and location in LIC, Queens. They are very close to major highways but have their own street which means you dont have to load up on 21 St. or Northern Blvd.All and all a great experience and highly recommended to anyone who like me, needs storage for professional reasons.
I had no past experience of using a storage space before my recent move. I had a recommendation from a legend in the NYC moving business to call Sylvia at Citiwide and say hi. Sylvia was so warm and friendly that I took notice. Still not convinced I could get a better rate I went shopping at another facility and found it overwhelming, unavailable and inconvenient to get to not to mention I felt unsafe on my walk from the subway. I walked away from there feeling disillusioned and under the gun as moving day was just around the corner. I went to check out Citiwide and found the experience so warm and welcoming that I had to stop and take notice again. I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgable young lady that helped me set up the reservation. Still unsure of the size I needed and the cost, I arrived on moving day with the movers and Sylvia took a quick look at my stuff on the truck and offered me a smaller unit for about $100 less. It turned out to be perfect. The floor is well ventilated and there is plenty of light, a friendly elevator man and lots of satisfied customers hanging around.
I posted a review in early June of last year to rave how wonderful an experience I had with CitiWide Self Storage in every aspect. EVERY aspect. But I think its important to mention that even several months later, I can repeat those rave reviews to the highest degree. I returned to my storage unit last week (after being away from the city for over eight months) and found it exactly as I left it back in June. EXACTLY. As in hardly a speck of dust to be found. I couldnt believe my eyes. Not that I had any doubts that my possessions would be in very secure hands with CitiWide, but the fact of how clean my storage unit has remained all that time. Wow! With all that said, I cant tell you enough just how grateful I am to confirm 100% (and then some!) that I made the right choice with choosing CitiWide for my storage needs. And as always, CitiWide customer service continues to shine at 5+ stars! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have been using Citiwide Storage successfully for over ten years and applaud the wonderful service, from Laura Gonzaga and colleagues at the front desk, to the elevator operators and to all those who maintain the cleanliness of the entire building. I have always felt that it is a well-run company due to the employees and their helpful, friendly manner. It is in a strategic location near Citibank Building (you cant miss it) in Long Island City, close to the convenient E and G lines. Although I live out in Forest Hills now, I continue to use this space because it is easy to get to and is an excellently run company and immaculate building with temperature control, loading dock, website and an extremely friendly work force. If you have any problems, they will be quite willing to help you solve them.
Customer service was always great at Citiwide. I found Silvia and the office and management team there to be helpful and pleasant to deal with, particularly since I live overseas and would sometimes need to call to either address a billing issue or change of information.
Super easy process, the reps (Joakim, Michelle, and another few gentlemen whose names I forgot) were helpful. Facility is located on a quiet LIC dead-end. The unit itself is no-frills but spacious enough to get the job done. Thank you!
Ive been a client of Citiwide since 1982. I would and have recommended Citiwide to many people. The storage is kept very clean and Im very happy and feel safe in leaving my things there.

Sylvia is very nice and knowledgeable, but other staff come and go quite quickly. Male boss is dismissive. New company just increased rates by approx.10% for same space and service. Long Island City is expensive real estate! Better deals elsewhere.

Been using this facility for years and I highly recommend it. The staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and always there to help. The facility is easy to access, large freight elevators and multiple spaces in the loading dock. The facility is clean and well maintained.

Top notch facility and excellent staff. What makes this facility unique is its ability to park large commercial trucks (short and long term) in their 30,000 sq. ft. parking lot. The combination of storage and parking in this central location (close to the 59th Street Bridge, Midtown Tunnel and Pulaski bridge) allows for easy drive times to Queens, Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn.

Entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They not only answered my questions, but assisted me with moving things into the bin. If you have ANY questions dont hesitate to ask for Shan, Sylvia or Michele!
If you have used a Manhattan mini storage , its not as easy to use or as new. Yet still pricey. For non commercial and non delivery truck customers there are no ramps! You have to lift heavy boxes and furniture up awkward stairs! Makes no sense.
Horrible service. This company is guilty of bait and switch because they say it’s $1 then charge an administrative fee when you sign up and they claim that they will move your things free and then they require a $220 fee. Bait and switch tactics and horrible transparency.Bad customer service skills.
Silvia and Michele are very helpful, they both do great work with me and my business, I would recommend this facility for anyone needing a good storage space in Brooklyn.
They were super nice, I moved out on the first day of the Month and the pro-rated it so I didnt have to pay for the following months rent. Super nice staff and super helpful !!!! I would use them again if I ever needed too !!!!

Gets the job done! Expensive! $191 for a 5 x 13 Unit. No climate control during the hot summer months. No ventilation observed where my unit is located.
Only business I visited in LIC in 2020 that actively refused to wear masks.

2022-06-28I have rented several storage units from Citi Wide for the past 5 years. The team is amazing and they all have continually gone above and beyond to help me out over the years. It is a wonderful team of people but I need to give a special thanks to Michele and Sean in leasing, Elliot, Matt and of course Paul who I have shared too many elevator rides to count. You have made my many storage trips so much more enjoyable and I will definitely miss seeing you all!I cant say enough good things about Citi Wide. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a storage unit.

2022-04-18Any complaint made by review are just people that are upset they couldnt have their way or dont pay their billsthe staff are regular people like you and me and are great for the business. Theyre extremely helpful, knowlegable and accomadating. I have had two Units here so far and am looking to get another as the business is expanding and theyre definitely helping to make sure we have what we need. The units themselves are decently sized and well priced for the real estate. Convieniently located in the Court square area, not far from the LIE (if youre coming from out east, 59th street bridge (if youre coming from manhattan) and the BQE (if youre coming from SI/BK). The View aint half bad from the upper floors too if youre into that ^_^

2022-03-05The employee was rude and he kicked us from the office because we didnt have masks and in the same time he refused to put a mask after we asked him.If there is a rule for the customers, these same rules must me mandatory for the employees and they didnt ware masks.

2017-10-24Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and very convenient hours. Never ever had a problem with accessing my storage unit. Great parking spaces, provides dollies to move your stuff. The price point is incomparable to neighboring storage places, with a wide variety of storage options as well. Staff members are very flexible with your needs, so if you need anything or have questions, just bring it up to them and they will do their best to make it work for you, and work in your best interest!

2018-02-22Safe, clean facility at a great price.Sylvia and Maia (sp?) were absolutely awesome. They treat you with respect and work hard to get you great pricing and give you great service. The guys who run the elevator work extremely hard at moving all the guest up and down as fast as possible including going above and beyond to help you load and unload (which is not part of their job).The place is not as fancy as some of the new storage places but you also arent paying the prices of those newer facilities. In the end, it is a perfect location to store your things securely with all the access you may need.

2021-04-24Ive used Citiwide for umpty-tumpty years now, introduced by my friend Maggie Newman. I was skeptical, because it was on a dead end street that no one seemed to know -- but the people are all so nice, the place is clean and secure. What more could we ask for a storage space? Buildings are now creeping closer and closer to the storage space, but we hope it will be there for many more years!

2019-11-04This is a great storage where staffs are friendly and funny. Sylvia is a wonderful staff there, every time I go the storage, and she always welcome me with lovely smiles. Also Michele, she is amazing too. She’s like shine in the winter. In addition, it’s clean and organized.

2019-10-08Ive used CitiWide for the past nineteen years and have enjoyed the experience. Sylvia is the best, shes always cheerful and responsive to any request. We just added a smaller space and the paperwork was a breeze, while Sylvia was putting everything together we were able to access the new space and move some items in; then back downstairs for the signing. Hassle-free.
