Single Female Home Owners Beware. I called Tonawanda Fire Dept after my roof was struck by lightning asking if they would come out to check my house and they refused. This was after Kenmore Fire refused to help and told me to call Tonawanda Fire. Tonawanda Fire told me to call Kenmore Fire. Neither wanted to come check my home for fire. Would I have been treated this way if I were a man? I believe so and this is why I am writing this review. Response to your response...You have missed the point.

So Im a veteran United States Army of 10 years retired. Okay let me paint the situation for you guys, 11:00 at night. Im walking down the street back to my house. My house being on Morgan Street right across the street from the fire department. I see a vehicle racing down the road on William Street with no headlights on. Why am I the only one to sit there and yell at that vehicle put your headlights on when I look behind me and no more than 30 feet behind me is a female fighter fighter. Who said nothing! Like really! You should have said something before I did. Shake my head. Other then that I find that others that were there are very professional and when I was injured and didnt think it a big deal the firefighters that cared for me called ambulance in fear it was worse then I expected. Thank you.
