Unreliable service. Booked an airport transport for 18:45, and the driver finally arrived an hour later. Had I not booked an early departure time from my hotel, I could have easily missed my international flight back home. Throughout the experience of trying to get hold of them and getting them to get their act together, I felt they had no sense whatsoever of urgency let alone appreciation for time!I would never try their service again!

Purchased tickets a sightseeing pass and tickets to a Radio City Tour. Agent at the Marriott Marquis claimed they would not print. Then I watched his associate print without an issue. Multiple attempts to get $ back or at least the tickets paid for. 2-months and now Ill let the credit card company fight it out. Make sure you get what you paid for! Paid $138 and the had to pay on-site (again) and found out the cost was $26/each. Robbed twice

We asked if they charged a service for the tickets and they said no. We would pay face value. They lied about service charges. We bought two tickets to Wicked and on the tickets the price was $120 each but we were charged $170 per ticket. We bought STOMP tickets and face value was $101 and they charged $150 per ticket. They also don’t give you an itemized receipt. NOT A GOOD COMPANY.

The transfer showed up 20-25 min late (call included) and the driver was wearing shorts and flip flops, at 4 am ! What personal presentation is that?!Arrived late at the airport to my internartional flight thanks to you!

I am a travel agent and my company recently hosted a group of 30+ in NYC. They had wanted to see a Broadway show as a group so we inquired from the concierge at the hotel we used for rates on three shows. The concierge on duty informed us that the show we most wanted to see (39 Steps) was not showing in NYC anymore but one of the other two would be available at almost USD 190.00 per ticket. We later found out that 39 steps was still very much showing and advertised for USD 39.00. I inquired with the hotel concierge again regarding this show and requested assistance to obtain five tickets since this would be easier for my clients to just pick up the tickets from their hotel as I was not in NYC at that point. The concierge on duty informed me that the USD 39.00 tickets (which I specifically requested) were not available, but she could get tickets for USD 79.00. With tax added the total came to around USD 89.00 per ticket. I consulted the client who was disappointed that the price was more than double, but she decided to go ahead. I procured the tickets with my credit card with the arrangement that my client would reimburse me later.I later found out from my client that the tickets she received were USD 39.00 tickets and the face value was printed right on the ticket. She therefore was unwilling to pay more than what was the value for the tickets because it seems that City Experts intentionally sold the USD 39.00 tickets to us at almost USD 90.00 a piece, which is clear robbery.I immediately called the hotel and spoke to the concierge department and after a little back and forth was advised that since I signed the authorization for them to charge my card for the amount of USD 449.00, that means I agreed to pay that price for the tickets regardless of the actual face value.Needless to say, I did not get reimbursed for the tickets by the client and I am extremely shocked that City Experts is unwilling to resolve this issue ethically. This is client extortion and the loophole they use to get away with it is that the form indicated that the face value of the tickets would be between USD 30-70. They know what they are doing and they know it is not right. The charges should have been listed on the form if they were that significant. Even if you added taxes and services fees, 130% would still be unacceptable.I attempted an amicable resolution with City Experts, but their supervisor indicated that City Experts paid USD 62.00 for each ticket and added service and delivery fees, but incidentally they are unwilling to provide that detailed breakdown, so I suspect this is not the truth. As a service provider in the tourism industry, I cannot express enough how damaging this type of business practice is to the industry, the City of New York and the country as a whole.I purchased the tickets from them in good faith believing they were obtaining the best available tickets for my clients, but as it turns out there was no good faith on their part and hotels should discourage their staff from doing business with them as the result will be unhappy customers since this type of experience hurts the hotels image as well.Disputing my credit card bill will be a start to rectifying this wrong. My next step will be filing a complaint with the hotel, the theater as well as the relevant authorities in NYC. This should be called what it is: unethical.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this company like the plague! And, before purchasing show tickets from an in-hotel vendor, ask for their company name because it doesnt seem that this outfit is advertising their name, probably because of these terrible reviews. My parents purchased two tickets for the Bette Midler show at the City Experts NY Tours kiosk located at the Wellington Hotel. They paid good money ($190 USD per ticket), only to ultimately find themselves in worse-than-nosebleed seats. In fact, when the usher looked at their tickets to help them find their seats, he told them that those seats are usually not sold to anyone because they are pole-obstructed seats. They had to lean forward just to see part of the stage (depending on where Midler stood on stage, they couldnt see her even when looking forward). After the show, my mother called City Experts to explain, in hopes that it was an honest mistake, and the manager only offered to refund her $10 per ticket, which is wildly inadequate. Those tickets should only be sold to someone with limited or no vision, at a bargain-basement price. It is a shame that the Wellington, which is a respectable and reputable hotel, is choosing to associate itself with this vendor of ill repute (see other reviews on this site!)

Deceived at Westin Times Square, by the fake concierge (Maggie).. Ordered a car service “Town Car”, her words.. $80 for a car to the airport tip included. The car arrived 15 min late. Worst of all, it was a Toyota Camry.. Could have Uber’d a car. Worst yet, the hotel allows this to continue. Gives Concierge pro’s a BAD name!

This bus tour was incredibly poor. Long lines, some as long as 2 hours (per stop). You could walk faster. Buses are also unclean. While the staff on the bus does there best, Greyline Tours/AKA City experts will leave a line of over 100 people on the street for hours, and not even send a professional to monitor the lines. It was borderline scary. Save your money, take a cab, or walk.
