Dr. Seba is AWESOME!!! I recently returned from Mexico for Spring Break. I noticed a large rash behind my neck and went in to Summit Health (City MD) on Utica. He told me that it was a heat rash and did not think it would get worse. He directed me to apply a cold compression and use Vaseline. At the moment, the rash was really irritating and I did not think his suggestions would relieve the problem. He then went to get a second opinion. Still I felt like something else was needed. I reluctantly left his office only to find that Dr. Seba was ABSOLUTELY correct! I took his recommendation and held a cold towel and used Vaseline. It is now a week later and the rash was quickly cleared. THANKS DR. SEBA you ROCK!!!!
Took 5hrs but honestly good management. I think the woman with braids today is manager because she handled everything as such. She is very good & if you think they’re rude, you doing too much that’s why. They constantly check up on line , told us we can use bathroom several times and gave hand warmers.
They were okay when they first opened. Security and front desk staff are rude and unprofessional. Ever since the spike in covid numbers again this place has become unacceptable. The website states covid testing is walk in but when you get there you are told that they have reached the capacity. When you call if you get an answer you are told that covid testing is walk in also. The people at the front desk are unwilling to help you and have no real clear answers on anything for you. They blame everything on a 3rd party which is very unprofessional. Their website needs to be updated frequently for all of the so called changes they make. No one is outside to inform people of the new or updated information they are just standing on line waiting to be turned around after they get inside.
I arrived Monday evening before they closed, no one answers the phone to call ahead, I was told they were done doing Covid tests for the day. This was at 6pm. I paid for a cab from the other side of town then and today. Today everyone was virtually registered and told they could go and theyd receive a text a half hour before their appointment. This was 9 am. I waited around for 2 hours and then went home. Ive yet to receive a 2nd text and now theyre closed smh.
I went for a covid-19 swab and antibodies test on labor day. The staff was VERY courteous, respectful and welcoming. Even though my visit would have been about 10 mins Max in the room, I was still made to feel welcome and appreciated. I too am a medical professional and it was the experience I try to convey to my patients that I was living on both my visits with CityMD. Im impressed. I definitely have and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends.
Went for a COVID test. Signing in was easy. Everyone was friendly at the front desk. Had maybe a 10 min wait. The technicians were all friendly and quickly entered my info. A doc came in to check in answered all my questions and I left fully informed. I got the results of my test in an hour, like they said, and the whole experience was great.
I was seen within a fair of amount of time. Joined the line outside, which was filthy, about 9:20am….signed in, with assistance💪🏾, greeted💪🏾, there was short wait in the waiting room then my daughter and I were called. The young lady who entered the examine room did not introduce herself- tried tending to both my daughter and I at once (taking vitals, asking questions symotainously about each of us, stretching equipment over my head to take my daughter’s vitals) asking the same question in different ways——Just Annoying & Unprofessional!!!!!Her Question: Are there any smokers in the household? My Answer: NoHer Question: Are you a smoker?🤨😡Her Question: Are you vaccinated? My Answer: Yes, I’m fully vaccinatedHer Question: Have you received your 2nd dose😩😡At that point I didn’t want her touch me or my daughter BYE!Long Story Short—it’s now 4:54pm and we still have not received our RAPID results 😡😡😡and I called TWICE!
Dr. Racine is a Dr. With an attitude. I dont know what they do exactly. But, they dont do much, but find ways to make money off Medicare. And its N.Y.C, blessed to be able to correctly serve people who only look like them. They dont have to be nice. Especially to Caucasians. And Dr Racine is bitter&ugly on the inside&Machiavellian. I hope she is fired for discrimination. I turned her into an appropriate medical staff board. Ive been saying Id never go back to Kingsbrook or the DRS office. Just because you can get away with having fell Medical staff,The last visit she was in full swing, Schadenfroida, as I heard their presumptions about the English 👧 girl. They charge for not seeing you. I called billing and they had changed the bill. All 4 of them. Goodbye, my last job for the next review is a surprise. Im changing up my routine. 180°turn. These city clinics are 3rd world country. Moving in moving out, treat them and street them.
CityMD on Utica Avenue in Brooklyn is the worst CityMD I have ever been to. I went to take a Covid test and had to wait over an hour outside on a line before I could even get to check in. Once I finally checked in they made me wait two more hours before I was able to see the Dr. This CityMD does not care about the patients and how long they are kept waiting. There needs to be some change here. This happened to me on multiple occasions so it wasn’t just a busy day. Hire more Doctors at this location if you know your super busy. Crown Heights is a very busy neighborhood already. Do better CityMD!
They were as fast as they could be with the amount of people looking to get covid tests. The security guard was efficient in directing people where to go and keeping order. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Nurse/doctor were quick, efficient, and helpful. They helped me with the rapid and pcr.
So I came here at 8:50am and it was a long line around the corner. Line started moving fast tho. I got in around 9:10am and registered. I did covid testing (nasal) it wasnt jammed up in my nasal cavity like some experienced. The nurses I got were very respectful and friendly. I also did std and hiv testing. I finished everything by 10:04am. So about 1hr. If I was yall come here by at least 8:20a to be one of the first peoples on the line!
I had a really good experience here. I didn’t know about the virtual queue aspect before I arrived that morning, but it made sense to keep things organized and to see patients depending on when they first joined the physical line. I joined the physical line at 9:30am, joined the virtual queue a few minutes later, got a text to return to the clinic around 12:30pm, registered on a kiosk inside (not the most intuitive process) and got my rapid Covid test around 1:30pm. The wait was long once I registered on the kiosk but it just was a busy day, I guess. All of the staff, especially the Manager (James, I think?), was awesome and kind throughout my experience. Highly recommended!
This place is great! I came here for a COVID-19 test, I had to wait outside for a while, but they came out to answer questions for the people in line and to give out hand warmers. But this last week, my boyfriend got a foot injury to where he couldnt walk, and when we called a head to ask for the wait they informed us that they kept rooms open for emergencies and come in and they would help as soon as possible. They were friendly, helpful, and extremely organized.
Great place!!! The staff is great and very helpful the place in very clean!! Be aware though because they are doing COVID-19 testing you have to get there before the place opens!! There will be a line and you want to be one of the first 20 people in order to be seen right away. Otherwise you will have the give them your number and go home. they will text you 30 minutes before its your turn to come back. The service is very fast though I was in and out which is wonderful!!
This place is so horribly run . The security guard lady is never even in the front unless she’s checking out patients (lustfully) . The doctor you can hear outside the rooms doing nothing but taking to all the staff . The staff is rude and arrogant when the company vision says to “build healthier and kinder communities “ this offfice should be a role model of its own vision but it’s a refection of the ghetto hood that it’s in . I’ve been sitting in this office for more than an hour
To be quite frank, waiting online in the neighborhood where they are was not the highlight of my visit. With that said however, I felt like I was visiting my own private doctor once inside because the place was orderly clean the staff was pleasant and I didn’t get that attitude like my presence there inconvenienced them. They were very nice had a pleasant disposition and were very professional and efficient.
Got on the line at about 5:30pm after work on a Thursday evening and waited outside for over an hour to get a COVID test, but once I got in it was a quick and comfortable experience. Only thing I would change is that the process of signing in on the tablet was a bit confusing and not super intuitive. Great staff at this location providing such a vital service during this time. Thank you for your hard work!
This place has been the best experience Ive had dealing with a medical facility in Brooklyn. You are greeted as soon as you open the door by courteous, kind and helpful receptionists. You choose if you want to fill out papers or just go to a kiosk, scan your id and insurance card and voila, youre automatically registered. In moments you are seen by a nurse who does the relevant vitals and before you are finish the doctor is in the room. The doctor was thorough, professional and friendly. He was careful to explain what the problem was. Told me the medication I was being prescribed and how they are expected to work. When he was finished, he asked if I was clear on everything. He was not rushing to be out the room but showed genuine care. The place is modern with technologically advanced equipment. The building is clean and had a welcoming and calming feel to it.After you are finished with the doctor you are asked if you need a letter to take your job for leave and you are further given a summary of your visit.Ill definitely recommend this place to my friends and family members. And Im happy there is such a place serving the Crown Heights area. The are definitely living up to their vision of ”To build healthier, kinder communities.”More power to this top class level medical facility.
Dr. Skyers was professional, polite and thorough ! The staff here are point ! I went for COVID testing and I have no complaints. I went around 9am, stood on the line and gave my information to come back. There were 42 people ahead of me. Received a text to come back around 12.
Very friendly nurses and physicians - excellent bedside manner.COVID specifically: I waited in line outside in the cold for over an hour (arrived 30 minutes before they opened) to be put on a SMS wait list for a COVID Test. I wasnt called back for another 3 hours and then it took another 45 minutes to be seen.
Besides waiting in the line for hoursssssss everything else is PERFECT! Great kind staff from when you finally get in til the very end! I have not encountered any mean or rude staff. I am always greeted with big smiley faces.I am required to take my rapid Covid test once a week ( fun right) 😫, however because of the amazingness of the staff it’s actually not too bad.*I wish someone in administration would think of a better way for the excessively long waiting (especially since it’s getting colder).Amazing place and Staff!!!!
The staff was good but the service is the worst especially after you visit and youre supposed to get your medication... they stated that It would take 15 minutes for my prescription to be by the pharmacy.. that was a lie because I was at the pharmacy waiting for 45 minutes still no prescription and I called them 3 time within that 45 minutes.... will I go back to this place? never again .....
It was an pretty ok experience but fam be careful what these doctors give you. Its possible they know or not know what they give you. Like the pill i was given where the side effect warning was death. It had several death warning. So im suppose to trade my life for being itchy all over my body? I trust in the lord more. Just be advocate for your health you matter!! Look up the medicine called valacyclovir google first page. Several death warnings!! my life is precious thank you!
I had a really good experience with the staff especially the young lady with the glasses she really helped me from the time I walked in the door until I got checked out. It’s very neat and clean inside the facility the staff is well pleased. I highly recommend this place
Absolutely horrible location. Told me that my rapid covid test was negative then sent me an email saying I was positive, I asked about this they told me I was negative and the email was a mistake. Printed out “my” results saying I was negative. I truly have no trust in these results. The lab results also came back negative but who’s to say. Also now because of my “accidental” positive tracking and tracing calls me everyday telling me I have covid. On top of that the ENTIRE staff managed to misgender me. It was truly horrible, I would recommend going anywhere else, or using webmd - you’re better off. Would have give 0/5 stars. Wouldn’t normally write a review but the 10 emails asking to review truly tempted me, so great job with those follow up emails.
Dont go there unless at deaths door. I went for a simple senior flu shot and was potentially exposed for well over an hour to the majority of folks who came in for covid tests. Trapped in an un-ventilated exam room for 40 minutes visited by three medical women requiring me to expose myself to a variety of tests, questions concerning my whole 70+years of medical history, inquiries to my various meds (the only relevant question for a flu shot: allergic to eggs? When I objected I was informed that this was standard for everyone no matter how simple or complex their situation. For a senior like me, this was a medically unnecessary and potentially dangerous assault just to obtain a flu shot. Beware!
Im giving them 2 starts because the staff was nice, place was clean and the wait time was short. However the doctor gave me liquid form of medication instead of pill format, wrong dosage and indicated no duration on the scripted. They sent it to the wrong pharmacy after I gave them the correct one and she repeated it. Smh, the doctor never called with my results. I only went because this was close to my job and they were open on a Sunday as opposed to the urgent care in my neighborhood which is only Monday thru Friday. Im sorry but I will not be returning or will I recommend this location to anyone
Worst Visit to any health care provider I have EVER experienced. They refused service because I would not claim (falsely) that the injury happened at work and fill out workers compensation papers. They literally kicked me out. I have it all recorded and will be following up with legal action.
So heres the deal at first its crazy but in the end it makes sense and its for our safety. You get on line when you get to the door and think your next most likely wrong they ask your name and if you have a smart phone on you if you do your good because they send you a text and ask you to read it mine sad there are 40 people in front of you I almost passed out then security told me go home and wait for a text once you get the text you have a half hour to get back to the office it took 6 hours for them to text me even tho they told me oh 40 people come back in 2 hrs but when I got back I was let in sat waited for 20 min was tested and released with results only problem I have is my antibody results were never given to me I would like those they are important i know I dont h have covid 19 now but I would like to know if I had it already and beat it
Today I met a very rude and condescending doctor, came in because I wasn’t feeling well and needed a doctors note to take a day off of work. Doctor proceeds to tell me that a pregnant woman can work at 9 months, based on her 10 years experience I look fine,. Did not assess me and refused to give me a note. Charged my insurance for nothing, Very disgusting and unprofessional. Never coming back!!
This is a whole new level, You can check yourself in, You are then greeted & welcomed by someone to take you to your room, vitals brief summary taken by assistant then your Dr listens to your concerns, examines you labs/x ray taken if necessary. Verbal feed back given, Then your prescription is sent. Your Dr never leaves you til its time to go! In a hospital you would be there for 4 hours before you see a nurse or doctor. Friendly environment at City MD
I went to this center 2 days ago, and my experience was excellent. The staff and doctor were extremely helpful and kind. The center is well maintained. I would definitely recommend to anyone. In less than an hour I was able to see the doctor and have xrays done and results as well.
On Jan 6, 2020 I went to this location for the first time. I was heavenly congested and I had a bad cough. As an asthmatic I’m used to the doctors paying attention to my breathing particularly my chest area let me give a back story last year I was diagnosed with pneumonia so I’m very sensitive to any slight cold I have. Well this particular doctor who said she was African which of course isn’t a issue I mentioned it as a matter of reference, in case someone else experienced her, told me in no uncertain terms I didn’t need antibiotics. This is after she barely listened to my chest or examined me. I couldnt believe it, well after leaving there I had to stay home 3 days from work. I thankfully did get a little better because I had to go back to work. But to add insult to injury I asked this dr if she could give me a refill for my albuterol well much to my surprise almost 10 days later when I went to refill I couldn’t because this dr had never coded the prescription properly. Thanks to the pharmacist at CVS who explained this all to me. I had to call aftercare to get my prescription filled. I’m writing this because this dr is reckless and In my opinion careless or should I say doesn’t care to properly treat her patients. I am very disappointed that this person could be allowed to treat anyone or be affiliated with CityMd whom I love and trust. I will never visit this location again.
I really like the place. Very clean & the staff is nice also very prompt service. My only issue with this place is there’s a Dr there female African American that I have a problem with. I went there one day feeling horrible she said I had an upper respiratory infection gave me nothing I ended up back there worse the other dr saw me & said I should’ve been on antibiotics. Fast forward to last week I took my niece there same female dr says oh she has an upper respiratory infection no meds given she goes back today now she tells her she has the flu! Seems a bit strange to me. I will go there again but i will refuse to be seen by this woman.
Shocked by how great our experience was here. We were seen on Christmas Day without an appointment in less than 10 minutes. There wasn’t even anyone else in the waiting room. The place is very clean, check in process was on an iPad (or paper if you wanted) and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and professional.
This CITY MD has a system THAT WORKS..PERIOD!!!Get there B4 9, leave your info with respecful Frontline workers and YOU WILL BE SEEN ONCE THEY CONTACT YOU! I WAS THERE 8:45, Contacted 12:45 and seen within 1/2 hr. Staff are respectful and cleanliness is up to par!! Highly recommend this urgent care and cant go wrong. Glad this CITY MD is convenient and safe!! KEPP DOING WHAT YOU DO OUR FELLOW FRONTLINE WORKERS
It’s great that they have a system to send a text when it’s time for you to come back and take a COVID test. However, what’s not great is the fact that upon receiving the text message to return, I’m told to wait outside because there’s too many people inside the building. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SENDING ME THE MESSAGE??
Had a great experience with Doctor Daniel Zahn and his assistant. I felt like they both truly cared! 10/10 would recommendFOLLOW UP:Went back and had a terrible experience with a doctor who acted as though they were better than me and I was some sort of addict. Doctor Zahn from previous comment was only training the staff and works at the citymd in Williamsburg.
I would say to my family and friends even to strangers out there who did not do the covid test as yet to go to the closest cityMD and get it done, I know some of you guys when you go and see the long line you want to change your mind, but I would say to you dont change your mind when you get through that line will get quality service inside and you may ask yourself questions when you sat down in your quiet moment.
Dr. St Leger Danielle was extremely rude. I came in for recurring strep throat for the 3rd time due to the bacteria becoming immune to the previous prescription of antibiotics written by Dr. W. Chen at the 2nd ave location. i asked the Dr. Chen if i had became immune before being written another prescription to it and he replied “That doesn’t happen” . After i finished the prescription for the second time and still noticing the presence of bacteria in my throat and ear i decided to go to the location in Crown Heights hoping for a better experience, but Instead i had an even worse experience with Dr. St Leger Danielle. Instead of being empathetic of my situation by being misinformed by another doctor at the 2nd ave location she had an attitude the entire time and then FINALLY stated what i had known which was that the bacteria had became immune to the antibiotics. She continued to make me feel dumb for asking questions the entire time as if she was the one dealing with the bacterial infection. I WOULD NOT RECOMMNED THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!!!!
Thank You guys so much I was just in your office Thursday I was very scared you guys helped me to regain my Faith and wanna fight and get well and showed me that I mattered the short dark skinned guy please excuse my descriptions if you feel offended helped me with triage inputting my information and then I left out and tried to go next door to the dollar tree and he took the time and came to the dollar to come and get me when the Doctor was ready for me he really was paying attention to me and V. James pin pointed what was wrong with me very quickly he was very attentive and knowledgeable, wise, and very Observant has been calling me to check up on me very countless caring selfless acts from you guys I Thank God for putting you Angels in my path and making me want to fight again for my self and my family I was short of breath and barely had blood when I came to you guys and Mr. V James took the time to consult with me and the ambulance paramedics they were very pleasant, polite and well mannered was there like Magic to take me to Kingsbrook after we consulted the best place for me I truly Thank all of you guys Blessings and Mad Love
Dr. Messeroux is unprofessional, rude and insensitive. When I jumped from the pain that she repeatedly inflicted on my finger, she yelled at me and told me to stop because it was almost 5:00 and she had to leave because it was past her work hours. She walked out the room without treating me.
Every time I go to this specific location I get exemplary service the place is always clean and quiet the staff is friendly Im in and out usually in under an hour from start to finish wonderful experience I would give them 10 stars but obviously Im not allowed to I love you guys keep up the good work
The worst place. Unprofessional and doctors aren’t prepared. The one I saw was googling my symptoms even thou what I had was something so simple to diagnose. I even told him what it was. I just needed a prescription and he just said “I don’t know what you have I can’t tell, and if I give you the medication you are asking for it won’t work”. Which was a lie, I saw a better doctor the next day who confirmed my suspicions and prescribed the medication I needed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

2022-04-09Barbie & I rushed over to this CMD arriving at 9:10am. Front desk greeted us upon entrance. The staff is very diverse & seemed friendly. I was the 3rd person in but by the time I left (10am) there were about 10-12 ppl in the waiting area. They do not accept all insurance so please call & ask before you troop it over. COVID-19 tests are now $225 without insurance. Disrespectful. I have Cigna so I paid a $25 co pay. The nurse gave me a discharge note for my employer which was nice. It’s Thursday April 7th 2022- we are still basically still battling this pandemic. Some days this place will be a hot mess when numbers are high. Other days, it’ll have the best service probably when numbers are low. Grateful nonetheless to have this facility in my community. We need more! Overall- Barbie was pleased with this location. @melissasktheartist (IG)

2022-06-17Staff was friendly and attentive. Waiting room is comfortable and bright. Wait time was fairly short. Medical team was professional, kind and thorough, and made sure I knew what I needed to do with clear written instructions. The doctor treating me actually CALLED ME two days later to see how I was doing, which was not expected. Thanks to the CityMD team.

2022-04-11I’m impressed. Attentive and courteous front desk. Was seen by a nurse within the first 5-10 min of being there. She was confident and friendly - which instantly made me feel at ease. The doctor was smart and personable. I’m feeling 100% better because of him. Thank You!!!

2022-04-11The staff and Doctor at this location were very kind and accommodating. I needed some forms filled out for an educational trip and they worked with me, (unlike the City MD near 14 St. Union Square who said we dont do this, and sent me to some Midtown location which was closed.) Wait time was reasonable. I arrived in the evening. The area in general over there can be rough after dark, but I recommend this location for a pleasant experience.

2022-06-22This is the worst urgent care Ive ever been too. The staff did not triage patients by their symptoms and urgency. The Dr assistant put the sphygo so tight I lost feeling in my arms and fingers. Then the quack of a doctor who has no bedside manner denied me the covid medication that is supposed to be available to patients who have it. He was rude, callous and thoughtless. I never had such an awful nasty doctor before and Im highly upset on top of getting no empathy or real help from that fat quack whos name is Peter Benedith. You could tell no one wanted to do their job to the best of their ability, smh....

2022-06-29I came here at 4pm with only about 3 or 4 people waiting to see doctors. About 2 or 3 people left the clinic after their appointment while I was in the waiting room. It took them over an hour to call my name. It made no sense why it took so long when they werent even full. I dont think Im coming back.
