The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Once they opened, they worked very quickly to have our paperwork processed and administer our tests. I highly recommend anyone to go to Medicenter. We will be back there if necessary in the future.
Everytime I come to this location I always wait for hours. There will be no other patients here and you will still wait over an hour. Terrible service and slowest staff ever. The staff are very unprofessional and do not care about their patients. The only reason they have good reviews is because they take 10 dollars off of people’s co pays to get a good review. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. If you do not want to wait hours just for a simple quick visit do not come here !!!

Very unprofessional staff, specially the front desk woman who had her mask under her chin more than half the time I was there (during this time of PANDEMIC !!)and didnt care or knew what she was doing. Dont know if any result they give is reliable or accurate when management is so weak.

This place is great when u are jammed up and cant get an appointment with your primary care doctor. I see them at least twice a year and they have always taken great care of me when I couldnt make it to my own doctor. Usually its for the flu or a cold. Love this placeRob

Walk in service is excellent. Dr. Scully and every other doctor are very kind and patient. The team from the desk receptionist to the medical assistant s are all very nice. I trust them very much & highly recommend this service.
You must call before you walk in but they don’t answer the phone and when you go in the girl behind the counter is not very pleasant when I finally got through on the phone I tried to help the lady behind me also but the staff had no interest in helping her I know that we are in strange times but manners and kindness still apply maybe they don’t realize that there is a medi center on a as almost every corner I FOR ONE WILL NOT RETURN
Only urgent care I’ll go to, more enjoyable experience than going to primary physician. Pretty quick wait time and the doctors are really nice.
My husband and I have been coming here since it opened. We are very satisfied with the competency and thoroughness of Doctors Scully and Bolte.
Disappointed on how my prescriptions were not called in like they told me they would be . So I was behind a day due to there incompetence. I also had to wait 3 days and call several times to get my Covid Test result, even after being told they would call as soon as they had the results. Not a happy patient, very disappointing.

Called outside to go inside. Told the secretary Im having some sort of chest/lung pain. Since I was there back in April and they have an x ray I figured it was no problem. Not only was I denied medical service and entry, but was told to go to the hospital and she didnt ask me if I needed an ambulance.
The office staff is always kind and professional. Very clean and short wait times. My go-to place for urgent care.
Walked in here at 12:20 with no other patients present. It’s now 40 minutes later, and still have not been seen by the doctor. Sitting in a room for the last 30 minutes with no end in sight. Not quite sure what the delay is.

Complete and utter incompetence. Waiting three days for lab results only to find out their lab discarded the samples and accused me of not closing the containers properly. Run, don’t walk, from this schlocky operation. There are hundreds of other options in Huntington.

The nurse staff and receptionist were all very friendly and helpful, and my wait was very short. The doctor, however, came off as dismissive, rude, and condescending. He clearly had better things to do, and wanted to rush me out. Im not one to leave negative reviews, but very rarely do I leave a place feeling this angry. I will not be going back.

The staff at Medicenter are the finest people you would ever want to take care of your medical needs. I have been going there with my wife for about 7 years and it is the best thing we did. If they ever have to move away I would travel a 100 Miles to go to them. They are very compassionate and caring people.

The drs at this urgent care are unprofessional and unknowledgable as is their billing department. I had requested tests to be conducted that were pertinent to my medical health and they refused to conduct them and then proceeded to bill me for their failure to conduct their due diligence as a medical provider. I highly recommend any and all individuals steer clear of this illegal and fraudulent facility.
I am hesitant to give this place a negative review because Dr Scully is such a nice man and a great medical provider. He had me out of there quickly and feeling better within a couple of days. Its everything else about my experience and facility that leave a bad taste in my mouth. First of all I waited nearly an hour and a half to be seen and there was hardly anyone else in the waiting room..maybe 2 other people. Next the medical assistant Danielle is a witch with a capital B. I felt that she was looking down on me the entire time and thought she was so cool because she is a medical professional..and I use the term medical professional loosely. The last and final straw was they called in my RX in correctly! The girl on the phone gave the wrong pill count and wrong daily max allotted to take the medicine for. It was a 3 ring circus at the pharmacy trying to get someone on the phone and then trying to get verification from the doctor who was obviously busy with patients. Ugh very frustrating. So basically everything about this place stinks except Dr Scully and the girl who took my vitals(it was NOT Danielle the medical assistant..this professional wore Royal blue). Better off at Huntingtons ER next time...
Very disappointed with the visit. I went there because I cut my finger with a chef knife. The doctor barely looked at my finger, stuck it in some peroxide and put some gauze on it that fell off before I reached my car. I was so upset that I asked for my flu shot so at least I got something out of that visit.To top it off, they never gave me back my drivers license. My hand was in so much pain that I did not realize it. A week later I call them and they say....Yes, its in the lost and found.Really?? They didnt attempt to mail it, no phone call, nothing.Didnt anyone think.....must be a patient?Would never recommend or go back.

Dr.Bolte is an incompetent doctor. I wonder if he ever went to medical school. And the nurse their that took me in the room looked homeless and dirty. The patient rooms are dirty, old, and tiny. Very bad experience. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Recently I slipped on the ice in front of my house and landed on my elbow. My daughter suggested I go to the Medicenter to have it looked at. I arrived at the Medicenter and found the staff to be attentive and professional. They are able to do X-rays right there and luckily I didnt have a fracture. I was given a prescription and put in an arm sling. I will not only be using this office again but I will be recommending it to my friends.

Was told by the doctor that our results would be back on Friday,it’s now sunday and when I called , the employees informed me that it would take over a week for results , they only drew a Lymes test and Lymes takes less than a week too result in a nurse and know the turn around , and to top it off I had to call back twice becuase the front desk lady Melissa hung up on me and when I called back she’s goes they’re looking for them you have to hold ... how am I supposed to hold when you hang up on me ? Will definitely not be going back here I’ll go down the block to the other urgent care that has smiling employees who are not rude to me !

I went there for a red eye, and asked to get my blood pressure to be checked. They end up doing blood test as well as EKG. I find out latter that, both blood test and EKG has nothing to do with red eye, so they made me pay $40 for visit, $40 for test and $40 for EKG, total $120 just to get a blood pressure checked.On top of that, they charged me extra for deductible for my insurance, which thank God I have called my insurance and find out that I do not pay deductible for clinic visits. I did not even get an apology.I took my 8 years old daughter for a blood test. The person tried 7 or 8 times, putting needle into my daugther, but keep missing the vein. I had to take her to another clinic for that test. By then she is terrified the word needle.After I made legitimate concerns, I went there last week, to get EKG, for my next day surgery, they would not let me in because I have complained earlier. At 7 PM I had to look for another clinic to get EKG done.They test for things that is not related to your visit, so they get paid more co payments. Staff is not always best when it comes to drawing blood. Management dont apologize when they make a mistake.I DONT recommend anyone to visit Medicenter.

2022-07-21Provider was good. Policies and front desk not so much. Explained I had insurance from day one of my hiring. I just started and didn’t receive my card or member ID. They still made me pay the self pay fee and told me to figure it out with my insurance. Would have been nice if they took the extra step to check via my social security number. Had no choice but to pay out of pocket since I had a laceration that needed to be examined. It is because of this I will never recommend that facility or any other CityMD ever!

2022-06-08After calling prior to going to the facility to verify that my insurance was taken, time opened and that an xray could be done, I arrived, sgned in and waited for 15-20 minutes I was called into a room by the office manager who was helping out. I was then asked why I was there which more than likely an x-ray and I was then informed the xray technician had just left for the day buti can still see the dr and if they think I nneed an xray they can send me to anoth location to get it done. Why would I want to do that? Ridiculous!

2022-03-08CityMD helped me promptly when they saw I was having trouble. A receptionist hurried out to help me log in and pay and be seen by a doctor.The help took my information and when the doctor came in he made a decision to monitor my heart. He have that a few tries but my heat was beating all over the place. Fast, slow. I was almost passing out and dizzy. The doctor called an ambulance to Huntington Hospital where I stayed 3 days on a heartonitor day. . I am glad I went to CityMD . It turns out to be a serious heart problemThanks to their medical team I am taking medication and will be on better health.

2021-12-28Of all places that need a rehaul, its this one. The receptionist is really rude and discompassionate. She is very scary. I walked in there with a severe sore throat and almost 102 temperature and was turned away. I went directly to the Prohealth on Walt Whitman road and waited 1 and 1/2 hours outside in the cold to be tested. At least they took me in to be tested. Turns out to be strep throat. They closed down many of these temporarily. This should have been number one on the list This place is just disgraceful.

2022-09-14Sept. 15, 2022 - My below, earlier 4☆ review was for the Medi-Center, which has apparently vanished in past 2 yrs, according to an incredibly unhelpful, nasty little receptionist who answered the phn. Wouldnt help me at all, let me come in to be seen or recommend another svc. (& god knows where my 30+ y/o chart is). Since this site appears to still be a walk-in facility, her behavior even more reprehensible. I then read below revs for this new place & inexcusable that receptionist still has a job. Or that anyone will go here.Nov., 2020 - Been going here for various unexpected health issues for over 30 yrs. Ive been treated well by both staff & doctors. Just understand that its an urgent care/walk-in facility, meaning you should expect occasional long wait times & also know its NOT the Mayo Clinic! So sometimes the staff can be a bit overwhelmed & the drs too - especially now in Covid times - but Ive been treated well 95% of time. In all the yrs Ive been going there, I can remember only 1x where I felt Id been given poor tx & mis-dx. But that was quickly rectified by my favorite doctor there, Dr. Scully.I def. recommend this facility & glad its so conveniently nearby.🏥👍🙂

2021-12-20Wont make appointments you have to come in in the AM (theres people lined up waiting already) then you have to wait hours to be called to come back -if you dont get here within half an hour you lose your spot, and arent allowed to leave the waiting room once youve signed in?? Make appointments for people. So many people have walked in and been turned away in the 40 minutes ive been waiting here with no resolution as to where else they can get treated. This first come first serve situation backs traffic up. It wasted my whole day i had to call out of work or “lose my spot”

2021-12-22Very rude receptionist. Was so used to the medicenter and the welcoming receptionist and City MD is the opposite. Didn’t even let me finish my sentence before they said they were booked. Very disappointed

2022-01-06All of the staff were so hard working and caring. It’s very busy right now due to the increase in demand for covid testing and vaccinations, but the staff continue to work hard and do their best.
