My husband and I both needed covid tests today. We arrived at 8:30 assuming there would be a line. We were given a time to come back . We waited in the car for 45 minutes and were seen promptly. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful, professional, and kind. By 10: 30 we both got our results. Which happily was negative. Job well done! Thank you!
Self check in is not user friendly and takes too longThey don’t seem to care about people whoever has trouble signing in with this complex sign in processElderly and sick people come here to get well and it doesn’t make them feel welcomedWait times are your luck could be 20 min to 2 hours
It is the worst place i am 6 months pregnant i called before going for a covid test i was told to walk in there would be a wait time so i did when i get there they tell me i needed to come in earlier put my name on a waiting list and it would have been 5 6 hours that is beyond stupid honestly best off just going to hospital you would be in and out at that time frame and the lady in fromt very rude never ever going back there !!!
I highly recommend this location for testing! Tashari and GeNora are amazing!! These ladies were extremely helpful and kind from start to finish. I needed to get a rapid test for work and this was by far the easiest experience I have ever had. I will definitely use this location again! Thank you ladies for making my day. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
Horrible experience at this urgent care . I did the wait on the virtual line . Came back the 4 hours later when I got the text to return . I signed in the tablet wasn’t working so I sat in waiting room for another 20 min till I got up and asked if I was checked in : I then had to fill out papers and then finally was put in a room . The nurse came I told her I was in for a covid test bc I was exposed and my throat was bothering me . She took my blood pressure. She did the test and left the room then came back in I asked if she was going to take my temperature. She went to take my temperature in my ear and couldn’t figure out how to use it so another lady came in and took my temperature. The “dr” came in and I told him I was exposed and my throat was bothering me . He asked me 4 questions regarding covid and left the room . No one looked at my throat . I understand covid is a big thing right now but people are still getting nasal drips and colds i can’t figure out why a dr. wouldn’t look ? I then was told to leave the room that the test takes 15 -20mins meanwhile that time was up when I checked out and needed the results to go back to work. I highly recommend making sure if you go here make sure you get people who know what they are doing I understand the high volume but each patient is important regardless of they are getting covid tested only or not feeling good and should get the doctors time and consideration after waiting hours to seem them .
Every time I come here, everything is handled quickly in a timely manner, and the staff is always extremely respectful and understanding. This is truly the best place to go if you have any urgent needs, and they order your medicine if you need it ASAP so you can have it the same day (as long as the pharmacy is open).
This city MD location has you put your name on a list to get called, which I believe all city md locations do now because of covid but when it’s your turn to get called you still have to wait in the waiting room with about ten other people ahead of you before you actually get seen by a Dr. I didn’t want to wait inside the crowded waiting room after I already waited 2 plus hours to get called. The other city md locations I went to, call you to come back when it is actually your turn to be seen as to avoid sitting in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. If you don’t want to sit in a crowded waiting room don’t go to this location.
Friendly under Covid crowd pressure, provide virtual cue to assist with making an appt possible BUT God help you if you need to call in --- Ive been on hold for hours over the last few days trying to get information about test results (theyre past due) and they DO NOT answer the phones EVER. Even if Im infected with Covid, Im going to have to walk in there to get to speak with someone. Very very very frustrating. Email messaging is not working in the new Summit system; all my previous medical records are still in the old portal --- but no sign of my PCR results and no one to help me confirm they have the right email address on file... Grrrrr
Good luck with this place. I needed a Covid test to travel and they put the wrong code in for my whole family - making it look like we were exposed to Covid. They wouldn’t fix it and kept referring me to ‘after care’. Well after care is a joke - starting with Samantha. I have been on the phone all day getting the run around. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Came here after the CityMD on the other side of the highway cut off the line when I’ve waited on line for almost an hour. This CityMD, waited for an hour on line but nurse came out with a sticky note and gave one to each person to ensure there was no one cutting the line! When arrived at the door, was greeted by staff and was told to come back when they sent a text. 6 hours later, text was sent to come back and my experience was brief and pleasant. I’d say this is my best experience and well organized for people who is taking the COVID test!
First when I came in to the Bayshore location on sunrise hwy, the doctor didn’t believe I had covid but I knew I had it. Two days later I came in again to Bayshore location on sunrise hwy and I was positive. No one notified me or told me any recommendations or treatment I should follow to stay well. I guarded my health myself and thanks to google. After 10 day period had passed I came in to get tested again at same Bayshore location and one of the personnel in black scrubs stopped me and said nope can’t test you because it will be positive you haven’t completed your time frame, when I actually did 14 days from my symptoms, so I was way past due. All that ruckus was created made me wonder if I was actually coming to a proper well informed and experienced staff or not. The reception staff was wonderful but I wish the doctors or whoever is in black scrubs were more experienced and informed. But I must say the doctor Lee, who I wish saw me as well but my mom got him as a doctor at the urgent care was really good and well informed and caring.
I had an ant crawl into my ear canal while doing yard work. Worst feeling and sound ever! The doctors said I cant believe how calm you are right now, Id be freaking out. Truth is I was freaking out on the inside at first but her calming energy quickly calmed mine. Besides the ant part, it was a great learning/ refresher on how kind, caring, calming energy is transferred between two people. The whole experience was Greatly Appreciated!
Monday afternoon,Waiting on line for 2 hours straight and there’s no one in the door to handle patient. Patient getting out but no one is calling us to get inside. All the other patients waiting outside was frustrated. Opposite road CityMd follow away more discipline then this one.
Very clean. Receptionists are friendly and helpful, medical staff is kind and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars but there was one Dr. who shoved the swab for my Covid test so far up my nose I almost hit the ceiling! I usually get tested at the facility I work for but didn’t make it that week so went to CityMD. They let us swab ourselves—we go in both nares and just have to make sure the swab is moist. I also obtain nare samples for Covid testing from the patients in my facility. When I went to CityMD another time (in New Jersey) and told the doctor all this, she let me swab myself (I didn’t ask). The doctor at this CityMD wasn’t interested and just shoved that thing up my nose. When I complained about it he said, “the farther we go up the more accurate the test “. Well that’s not true! The wetter you get the swab the more accurate the test. I know if I ever put the swab that far up one of my patient’s nose, I’d get punched!
Great place. Wonderful ladies at the front desk and wonderful staff in general. Went in with my dad for covid testing and was out in 30 mins. Very clean and organized. Nurse asked me if I had any questions before the testing, would definitely recommend to anyone with needs that this center can provide.
The attending physician and supervisor on site at the 1757 location the day I went was very unprofessional the rest of the staff excellent. Definitely a God complex. Provided treatment based on personal opinion re Covid related issues not a professional opinion on whats best for the patient. I too am a clinician.
I waited outside for 2 and half hours in the cold just for the “doctor” to read my PPD for my work physical. I don’t understand why there isn’t two lines: one line for the covid testing and another line for “everything else” the staff was rude when they came outside telling people to back up and only letting two people in at a time. To stand outside for 2 1/2 hours in the cold is completely unacceptable- and I will NEVER recommend anyone I love to come to your “urgent care” that isn’t so urgent after all.
Great place and friendly staff. The visit was pleasant but however, i have been waiting over two weeks for my COVID 19 test result! Every time i call, I am placed on hold and no one answers! I understand that it takes longer than usual to get the COVID results and i was expecting to wait about a week but TWO WEEKS and nothing?? Unacceptable.
One of the doctors here is so incredibly nasty and rude. The PA’s as well have no people skills. Told me I had a rash and I was confused if they were going to give me a prescription or not for it and the doctor said “did you not hear what I said? I’m giving you a prescription” in a VERY rude tone. The doctors and staff here make you feel less than.
We went in because my husband was in severe pain that worsened dramatically after a bike accident several days ago. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes and that included an X-ray. The doctor, nurse practitioner and staff were all efficient and pleasant. Highly recommend.
Let me start by stating the office is beautiful nice clean, and the office seems to run very efficient...I.e. little wait times. I received a thorough exam and prompt diagnosis. The poor review score is for the 3 phone calls requesting me to complete a survey! The first 2 times I didnt answer wasnt a clue I dont want to complete a survey. If youd like my feed back I will be happy to give it... I charge $75 for this service.
Took my husband there as he had a deep gash on his leg. They took us right in. Doreen was so professional, she took her time and explained every step of the way what she was doing. Doreen is very kind and compassionate. As well as the rest of the staff. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
They are unprofessional and completely unaware of their patients needs. I have been waiting 3 weeks for some test results that should have been a 3-7 day wait. It turns out they never did the test I requested several times because ONE, the doctor never requested the test I needed and TWO, they lost my blood sample....They never called me to notify me of this, so if it wasnt for me constantly trying to contact them I would have never heard back from them.
Horrible place!!! The doctor and nurses laughed at the results of a private test their patient took. This was private news and private info, for us patients in the waiting room we did not need to hear her results nor did this young lady deserve to be embarrassed like that. I watched her hold her tears until she got to the parking lot. You all should be ashamed of yourself here!!! I would never recommend trusting them with confidentiality! Miss if you are reading this... I will happily be a witness if you decide to sue!
Professionalism and compassionate care are what separate this urgent care facility from the rest. The doctors and staff are fantastic and really do care about their patients. I highly recommend Stat Health, and Doctor Daly is a rare and refreshing find. I trust them completely and will recommend them to all of my friends and family for any urgent care they may need.
I brought my 19 month old son here with a rash and unfortunately it was a waste of 50 dollars. Brian bedside manner was nice. The Dr (female) was dry but unaware of anything. She just said it was a viral rash and offered an X-ray for no apparent reason. No meds were given. I ended up taking my son to emergency after there and he tested positive for strep. The dr at this location made zero sttempt to see what was wrong with him. Just offered an X-ray and she made it clear she was an ÉR doctor which had no relevance to my son. She stated that because I asked her what was the purpose of him having an X-ray if your not diagnosing him with anything. She said it’s offered to everyone. Definitely would not recommend this place. Waste of money. Need doctors who are going to take the time out to ask questions and actually diagnose the sick individual instead of trying to make money and just offer a chest X-ray. Very disappointed. Please if you care about your loved one DONT take them here. Signed Ms.MatosI received an email from stat health office for a follow up on my experience and I requested a refund for the 10 minutes I was there. Still no response. Please please save your money!!!
I have been seen by stat health a number of times and I have always received the best care from Doreen Lobato, PA. Its so nice that not only is she so knowledgeable and provides exceptional care, that she is also so personable. Not only does she remember me from visit to visit she remembers my family too. I have been so impressed with her service that I have brought my 3 children as well skipping the emergency room and pediatric urgent cares. I would highly recommend Stat Health urgent care in Bayshore because you will be sure to get the care that you need from Doreen.
There are so many other urgent cares. Skip this one. They give misinformation and waste your time. The overweight doctor with white hairs ego is too big to even fit in the room. He is just nasty. Pray you dont get him if you decide to go. Go here if you feel like starting your day in tears
I was not feeling well and coughing a lot and decided to go to Stat health in bay shore. I was seen PA Lobato. She was amazing and her diagnosis was on point. She prescribed all the right melds as I felt better within 48 hours ...I have recommended this facility to all my friends based on my visit!!!
Big waste of time and money. Wait to see your real dr. I went here with sinus infection. Was offered only a steroid which I can not take. Went to another Dr this morning and I get an antibiotic with out even asking. Same symptoms as yesterday. I wasted 110 dollars is all I can say. Also asked if the could call my insurance company for a preauthorization and they said no they wont make the call. I had no problem paying the visit just wanted to be reimbursed . I wouldnt go back here if it were free !
After my husband had a simple office visit, I was sent a bill from Stat health for $150. I have called 3 times to resolve the issue and billing departmet is not cooperative and not willing to reduce this large charge. I do have insurance. Avoid them at all costs or bring a large wallet with you. Will not use them again.
Ive been here quite a few times and have had nothing but great experiences every time! Ive never waited long to see someone, the place is very clean, and the staff is fantastic! Ive seen PA Doreen Lobato-Frank and Dr. Daly and they are both extremely friendly and helpful!
I went here on a Saturday morning at 9:30 and because it was an issue with my insurance showing up wrong the girl at the front desk handed me a paper and told me to call them and give her a reference number when I told her that they were closed for regular hours for me and that I dont have their tax ID number she said there was nothing that she could do to help me and that I would need to get that workout or I could pay them whatever their fee is for self-pay and didnt tell me it dont go here its a waste of your time and they dont care to help I went down the block to dr. Yambo urgent Family Care and they called and got the information for me right away

2022-04-13Everyone at your facility was exceptional!! The people at the front desk helped me to log into your system to get my information. And the doctor, who as absolutely caring, reassuring that all will be fine and so very helpful, to the gal who was with the doctor. You have wonderful caring, friendly, professional people on your staff. You do not find that everywhere. I have, and will, recommend City MD on Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore, NY to all that need any medical help.Barbara

2021-12-30Just left CityMD at 7:25pm. Sign on the door says “We stop patient registration 30min prior to closing time.” They close at 9pm (another sign on the door). Somehow, security told us that they are not accepting any more patients. Hmm.

2022-05-24This location in Bay Shore on the south side is the cleanest CityMd that I have visited. EVERY Staff member is always very helpful and very nice. Several years ago I actually had stitches on my hand and Doreen did a wonderful job even with all my screaming from pain and nerves. I was a big baby. The scar is hardly visible. I have been there several times and I have not one complaint about this location. Thank you EVERYONE

2022-06-29The doctor I saw was amazing. He was able to diagnose what was ailing me for months. My primary doctor was telling me it was stress and allergies. I definitely recommend Citi MD in Bayshore.

2022-06-23They are not as friendly as the other locations across the street. Very stand offish and make you feel like your bothering them to do your job.

2021-12-27I went to this CityMD for the first time considering that it has 4 stars reviews. The moment I walked in, the receptionist rudely told me if I had any text messages appointment(?) - and I had no idea what she was talking about since It was my first time coming in. I even tried to call in advance (for a walk-in urgent care) just to see if I need anything in advance, and it went straight to the voicemail. Anyway - she then adamantly said that I should not step further in and Im not allow to enter. She yells We will not be accepting anymore patients. You need to leave. I was so shocked. This all happened at the entrance, not even at the counter. I get that the place was busy, but as a first-time visitor, how was I suppose to know the rules or know what to do until I talk to the receptionist? I really think the receptionist needs to go back to training. Horrible experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

2021-10-30Went to City Md Urgent Care. The was a gentleman in the waiting room wearing his face mask below his nose. I asked the receptionists if I could wait outside because of this. I was told that I could not that I would lose my place. I waited briefly for them to ask the man to put his face covering up. BOTH receptionists did nothing so I went outside NOT wanting to make a scene and called the faculty. One of the receptionists answered. I, again, explained the situation. They did nothing. I returned and went up to the next. They DENIED anyone was not wearing their mask inappropriately although by this time they appeared very annoyed at my insistence. I was forced to point the man out which I did not want to do.. I went back and sat down and they both were whispering and laughing.. Please avoid this place if you can!!!!

2021-08-24Where do I begin? My grandmother passed away and we (a group of 11) visited citymd for rapid COVID-19 testing on Sunday. We were scheduled to travel international today. We got to the airport only to realize that the date was not written on our results. Some members of my family received an email of the results, others did not. Some results were available on the portal. We were not allowed to fly since everyone in the group were not cleared. Someone is disabled and we have underage children flying with us. We missed our flight. We’re scheduled to travel tomorrow. Wasted an entire day that we will never get back. And we have to drive to the office to secure the correct results. Thank you citymd!
