My husband and I took a PCR test last Sunday, 12/26. Now Monday EIGHT DAYS LATER we do not have the results back. I was told that the lab was backed up and that there were many people in our position. Notice how CitiMD did not inform us of the wait time. They continue to allow hundreds of people to be tested every day without letting them know they do not have the capacity to process the tests in a timely manner.
They don’t care at all about your time.TL;DR: I wasted 3 hours for 15 minutes of healtcare service. When you get in (it’s “walk-in”) they put you in a virtual line and tell you that the wait should be about one hour. You cannot wait inside. It actually took two hours, not one. Meanwhile you’re supposed to wait outside not knowing when it’ll be your turn. They don’t take appointments, but basically this is like an appointment mechanism except that you don’t know the time of the appointment… and you wait in uncertainty. Finally you get the text telling you it’s your turn. First thing that happens is that they make you pay, even though they still don’t know why you are here — in spite of having told them five times at this point. Second thing that happens is that you … wait again. That’s an additional 45 minutes during which you don’t know when you will be taken care of.Finally you get to see a nurse and a doctor, both professional and nice. What I needed just took 15 minutes. So I spent 3 hours there for a 15-minute thing. The worst part of the wait is that you can’t wait inside but you can’t go too far because you never know when it will be your turn. Not convenient at all and very frustrating.EDIT: I am now trying to reach them on the phone. I have waited 40 minutes now. I give up.Just do not go to CityMD.
The doctors at this location are excellent. I cant say the same for the rest of the staff. I went here feeling sick. The front desk doesnt even tell you just waiting to be called; instead, they have conversations with each other, use their phones, and continue to take more patients while you wait without a clue. Once I was called into the room, the female assistant had an attitude look, I get it you are working through a pandemic, but no one is forcing you. You dont like your job is not the sick patients fault, dont take your frustration on us. We go there to feel better, not to feel worse. Overall, doctors are great here. They communicate with their patients and listen to their concerns; the only thing that staff before you see the doctors. They need to be retrained them with the basic of customer service because they forget we have lots of clinics around this area only thing that keeps me coming back is their doctors which I find to be the best especially when it comes to patient care.
Nice facilities and nice staff, but they did not send my PCR Covid-19 test results to me, which was the whole purpose of my visit. I received rapid results within an hour via the Athena Health portal. About 12-14 days after my test, I left a voicemail over the phone and an email via the portal. 19 days after testing, I called to attempt to speak to someone. I was put on hold for 20 mins, someone verbally confirmed my results, then I was put on hold again before I could verify how to get my results in the future. Will not return here for Covid-19 testing as it is too unreliable.
First thing to note is thatCity MD made ONE attempt to contact me,, after I made a complaint about the following issue. I was unable to speak at that time. There was NO FURTHER ATTEMPT to contact me again. Now, It is true that there is an overuse of antibiotics in our society. However, that DOES NOT mean that a physician/PA should Automatically Withhold antibiotics because he has decided (without any proof) that an infection is viral.I am a critical care and procedural RN for the past 37 years. I have had chronic sinusitis for at least 54 years. 2-4 sinus infections /year, 3 sinus surgeries. It is very fair to say that I know what goes on in my body. When I came into CityMD for treatment of a sinus infection, I naturally requested antibiotics, but this practitioner decided that HE KNEW BETTER. At first, he staunchly REFUSED to provide the needed script, because HE KNEW BETTER THAN I DID, about an issue that I have been dealing with for over 5 decades. HE had NO PROOF of either bacterial or viral infection, so his diagnosis was NOTHING BUT SPECULATION. When I made my argument to this MD, he was, at first, very patronizing and unyielding. I will interject here, that as a health care provider myself, let me tell you, it is incumbent upon a practitioner to LISTEN TO THE PATIENT, But this physician was, for a significant amount of time, having none of that. Eventually, the MD did relent, and he wrote for the antibiotic. And what do you know? My condition improved by, I would say, 50%, after the first dosage. So my infection WAS bacterial, and I DID know a thing or two about something that has repeated itself in my body well over 100 times.THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME that an MD/PA has made a RANDOM AND INCORRECT, DETERMINATION that I was suffering from a viral entity, at the time of my visit.YES, it is very important to utilize antibiotics judiciously, but it is every bit as important (OR MORE SO), to LISTEN TO THE PATIENT.BOTTOM LINE: First thing that ANY healthcare provider needs to learn is LISTEN TO THE PATIENT.
This location has been great. The desk staff are friendly and welcoming. There have been few times where some werent in the past but so far now they have great people. The assistant med staff and doctors have always been great thus far. They take the time to hear your concerns. Getting tested her of course lines are long but its expected so I cant blame them for this. But I like this location. Great job!
My daughters experience was less than satisfactory. The front desk staff was rude and refused to disinfect the tablet used for sign it. When asked if she could use a glove their response was insensitive and denied. Unfortunately, my daughter tested positive for covid her request was an attempt to protect the safety of others. We appreciate essential workers in-turn patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
This USED TO be my urgent care place, but after this JOKE of a COVID test experience, I will never be returning for anything. There was no wait for the test, and I had symptoms, so it was important to be tested quickly. I was told up to 3 days for results but that all tests were coming back more quickly, ( otherwise I would have gone anywhere else to be tested). So now I have waited 7 days and NO RESULT?!!! When I rang them, they told me they cant help (ie, dont care). They cant use the excuse of an outside lab since Summit Health owns City Md and Summit Labs. Ill be going to any other Urgent Care place next time I need anything.
I am sick and I wanted a Covid test. I wanted the results fast so I stuck out the line. First, there are no Covid precautions other than the stickers on the floor. Everybody is required to use an iPad to check in with no attempt to clean or provide for ways to clean the iPad from whatever the last person left on the iPad. There is no social distancing in the seating area. I chose to sit on a bench in the middle of the room. But after waiting another 20 minutes in the waiting room, I inquired as to how much longer and was told another 20 minutes. I had no more energy to wait any longer. I canceled and left. I would highly recommend you find a different location to do your Covid testing. I have access to a car. I feel sad that many have no better access to testing than this.
*Updated*PCR results take 5-7 daysWhile the staff is polite, their testing process needs a lot of work. (3/10/2021)UPDATE 3/31/2021: I visited on 3/26 for a second COVID test - the wait time was LONG but I was told it was “more than a couple hours” by the employee before I even signed up. There were 36 people ahead of me - I get the wait. Dr. Sultan was on that day - very efficient and polite - and let me know they switched labs and results should be in sooner than before. I got my results in 3 business days, now to schedule a vax. I recommend getting tested ASAP, even if you’re pressed for time, figure it out or be part of the problem.
If you need quick medical attention I would highly recommend this location. It’s insanely quicker than an emergency hospital visit, and the care team is way more friendly. Simple things like getting an allergy prescription refill, getting an X-ray for a sprained wrist etc is definitely recommended to get attention here vs. a hospital emergency room.
Went there yesterday for a horrible toothache that I am in the process of addressing now that I am vaccinated (I have two autoimmune conditions), to the point that doing anything - including talking - without swishing cold water in my mouth more than a minute was excruciating. My dentist office was closed so she told me to go to the emergency room, or urgent care if I didnt respond to Amoxicillin. Knowing this urgent care takes my insurance I headed there. The nurse and the receptionist were lovely, and I managed to explain - painfully and in tears - why I was there. The doctor, Dr. Shyamkumar Patel - I give his name because Im sure there are fine doctors working there too - came in, and I explained (for the third time, and keep in mind it hurts to talk) that I was here for a new antibiotic prescription and some pain medication. He offers me Ibuprofen 800. Still in tears, I explained that I have taken 4 Advils at a time, along with a slew of other OTC painkillers and nothing helps. His response was to give me Ibuprofen 800... which I pointed out was going to be exactly the same. I asked for something stronger. And I dont know what that could be because Im not a doctor, but I know there is something between prescription Advil and his next suggestion, which was to go get IV pain drugs at the hospital. He also asked me why I came here instead of the emergency room, which is insulting in its obviousness (and the place was empty.) The emergency room is expensive and you have to wait a long time, and theyre busy with other things that are not toothaches.Im not sure at which point this man decided that I might a drug addict trying to score some oxy, but he was basically scolding me, and I found it incredibly unprofessional for him not to explain to me why I did not deserve any sort of effective pain relief. He also had the nerves to ask me with a tone why I didnt take care of this last year when I lost my filling, as if that wasnt obvious to which I responded, I didnt want to go because of Covid! Aside from that though, Im a grown woman, you dont get to scold me. If I didnt do it, you get to assume I had a good reason, and do your job, be a doctor and relieve my symptoms.Lastly, he was uncaring, unprofessional and rude. This person shouldnt be left anywhere near live people, especially people in pain.I will not recommend this urgent care if asked, and I will happy tell my story. We have plenty of urgent care offices in NYC. You dont need this one.Go somewhere else.
Please be careful and do your own research before taking medical advice from these practitioners. After coming in with cold like symptoms the NP told me I probably have COVID-19 and to take zinc supplementation. She elaborated that even if if the rapid test comes back negative you probably still have COVID. Whatever happened to the good ole basic head cold or seasonal allergies? I already had the rona and Im fully vaccinated. (yes I know about breakthrough infections)Anyways...She handed me a piece of paper with the headline CDC Guidelines, which at the bottom, under Boost Up Your Immune System recommends Zinc Lozenges. This handout gives the impression that these are CDC Guidelines but Ive found nothing from the CDC (or NIH or any other credible scientific journals) that recommends self treatment with Zinc. Though, there are clinical trials but obvi under the close care of a medical professionals and scientist. Additionally, long term zinc supplementation above the recommended amount can cause copper deficiency with hematology defects and neurologic manifestations. Many of the zinc lozenges Ive found are >200% over the recommended intake. Im sure the NP had the best intentions but Id prefer my medical advice rooted in evidenced based science.
The office front desk staff is very professional and very helpful for any information you may need help with. The wait time at this location is not long to see a medical professional staff member either. You dont feel rushed and they take time to listen to your needs when you in the exam room.
Was on my way with my wife and 2 todlers with bad feverAfter the phone call with location they said we have to do an appointment in person. So we arrived and the lady said sorry we dont any appointments after 10am lolSo while we were on on the phone with them they couldnt tell usWe arrived at 1014amKids had 104f great health care
Several months ago we had a horrible experience here. After having some family members tell me they had positive experiences I kept it in mind for if we had issues when our doctor’s offices were closed. Do not bring your child here! We came after our daughter screamed in agony while holding her thumb at the park. We weren’t able to figure out what had happened. My husband and I were watching her the whole time and didn’t see any mechanism for injury. We were worried about what happened and wanted her examined. Well, it would have been nice if the doctor actually looked at her thumb. Instead, the doctor walked in having read about our complaint and without looking at my daughter announced that she was stung by a bee. The doctor noticed my frustration and looked at my husband and said “mom doesn’t seem happy with my diagnosis”. Speaking about me as though I’m not there is rude and condescending. Yes I was unhappy with the diagnosis because it came without an examination and was inaccurate. Fast forward several months and my daughter is recovering from surgery for her “bee sting” which was actually trigger thumb. Perhaps this is a diagnosis that the urgent care doctor wouldn’t have been able to make anyway, but I would have appreciated at the very least a more respectful bedside manner and an actual examination of my child’s thumb.
I had a Covid PCR test done a few months ago. The doctor was fine, however the staff seemed disorganized and kept giving me vague instructions on how to register, etc.. I took the Covid nasal test and a few days later called back to learn the results. After a few minutes they apologetically informed me that they somehow lost the test.
I went here. Got checked in. Taken back to a room. A nurse came by to take my vitals. We chatted about my symptoms and how I wasn’t feeling well coughing phlegm, etc. then I waited. The doctor came in and asked how he could help. I. Told him what I told the nurse and he said, “unfortunately we closed a half hour ago. I can’t help you” I thought he was kidding. So two people who helped me at the front desk a nurse and a doctor had let me come in and wait around talk about my health but wouldn’t help me because they were off the clock.
I recently took my son and myself to get flu shots. The staff as always was professional and took care of us in a very timely fashion. Dr. Pappas was friendly and engaging as was the medical technician who helped take care of us. Thumbs up and a 10 out of 10 to the staff at city MD on Broadway and 104th
I went for COVID-19 testing. First, they had to get three different people to administer the blood test and after 30 minutes of waiting inside the exam room; I was finally able to direct the woman how to retrieve my blood.Second, after 10 days, I still have not received my results! Their online website portal does not work and the people there dont care. Theyll have you on hold for hours, hoping youll hang up.
Don’t go here for COVID testing. They are unprepared to handle the volume and the wait times are outrageous and not accurately quoted. They told me it would be 60-90 mins in the “virtual line” and about 20 mins wait when they called me into the office. It was two hours on the virtual line and two hours waiting in the office. FOUR HOURS of waiting for a 90 second covid test. The entire time in the waiting room, the room was over the posted capacity. If I didn’t have covid before I went in, I probably caught it sitting there.
Im a bit torn on this review. On the one hand, they have a Covid-19 testing line outside with no reservations that is really poorly managed - there are no estimates for time, and takes forever, i. e., 2+ hours, and is not a great place to stand - theres a good truck with a loud generator, theres a lot of street traffic, theres a lot of foot traffic, and theres a bus stop right there. They give no info and really dont manage it at all. How hard would it be to have web-based scheduling? The time waiting actually discourages people from getting tested - is that the goal?On the other hand, once you get inside, the place is clean, they have contactless checkin at touch screens where you even scan your ID and insurance card, theres hand sanitizer and wipes, the medical staff is really professional and seem genuinely interested in your situation. Also, I believe that the City has them as a provider Covid-19 testing and I dont think you need insurance there. If they could just get the scheduling under control this would be 5 star!
Needs a better more friendly environment seriously people go there because they are sick and we dont need an attitude the people assisting the doctors there need to have a better attitude when assessing their patients. We dont need your attitude.Every time I go here get seen by a different doctor and get the wrong medications after the visit the next day I went to my personal prescribed the right drugs my headache and sinus is gone.
Had to go to this place today due to a bacterial skin infection from a mosquito bite. The front desk guy was very helpful (too bad I cant remember his name). The doctors assistant was good, doctor was great too. The place was literally empty, only one other person in the entire room waiting to be seen so I was called on quickly. I dont have any bad reviews to share about this place at all: It was clean, neat and I watched tv for a short time while I waited. I didnt like paying $40 copay for the visit but I realize this charge probably has nothing to do with CityMD but with my insurance instead. Ill definitely go back here again for anything urgent care related.
RAPID TEST NOT SO RAPID - It is like playing hot potato with these people....After a rat race of trying to have my rapid test result because it was never sent to me.... CityMD is a mess.104th st had closed and never sent my rapid test results (2 hours before they closed, I had my test)...Called Aftercare for an hour I waited with no answer, so I called 88th Street who sent me to Aftercare, Aftercare immediately hung up on me, I called back and for some reason was transferred to 14th Street location who called 88th to just wait 30 minutes to get my results with a he said she said to then be told I had to recall 88th for them to actually send my results to me.....
I would so totally recomend the clinic. The staff and their service is great. They really treat people with kindness and respect. I definely felt welcome when I got seen. They truely know what they are doing. They are very attentive to everyones need and very helpful.
I came to city MD for testing because I will be traveling soon. I first went to 125th St. for testing on June 30 at 6:40pm (they close at 8pm). The security at the front door told me they stop Covid testing at 6:30pm, so i was turned away. Then, I went into the 104th location on July 1. The nurse practitioner i met with told me how inaccurate both tests are. The viral swab has too many false negatives, and the antibody testing is broad for all coronaviruses (not specific to Covid 19) so it was largely pointless). So I spent 2 hours waiting to get into a location to be talked out of getting a test.Today, July 2, this was the messaging in my inbox from City MD:“Get yourself tested before you [travel]CityMD currently has two tests available: a viral test to tell you if you have a current infection, and an antibody test that tells you if you had a previous infection. The presence of antibodies does not guarantee immunity. Consider the following when getting tested:- It generally takes three to five days to receive your results. Give yourself that amount of time before you travel, and be prepared to cancel your trip if necessary.- If you test positive for the coronavirus, dont travel, and quarantine yourself for 14 days.- Even if your test turns out negative, continue to take precautions such as social distancing, wearing a mask in public, and frequent hand washing.Stop by your nearest CityMD to get tested.”
Had a horrible experience very recently making a visit to the urgent care facility. I was practically interrogated about the discrepancy of them accepting my insurance at first (clearly the only concern is money) for nearly 40 minutes and when the manager finally decided I could be seen by the doctor, I was interrogated with the same questions plus additional inappropriate questions by the dr on duty that day. I explained to him that my information was in the chart and that I didnt feel comfortable discussing certain questions he was asking in the presence of another staff member. The doctor (name is Dr. yun) got very angry at my response and began to yell at me as his face turned red. Not too much longer afterward, the doctor refused my treatment and stormed out of the examination room (as if he was a disgruntled teenager). Bedside manner is not the forte of this doctor. However; I would be remiss if I did not point out that the receptionst staff were beyond courteous, kind professional and helpful. The doctor should take a lesson in common courtesy from the other staff members. In addition, one young lady receptionist, even going as far as apologizing for the unacceptable behavior of the doctor . No one should leave the doctors office, urgent care etc. more stressed out/higher blood pressure than they arrived. In this case, That was me
As far as urgent care walk in clinics go, this is the best one in the neighborhood. The other 2 near by are run extremely poorly and are unprofessional. The staff at this CityMD is professional and the quality of the doctors here are better than the other urgent cares I have went to.
Friendly doctors, although the front office staff arent that welcoming. 1st time check-in process is lengthy and annoying, but most doctors offices are like that anyway. The wait isnt terrible, but their Urgent Care offering is not the same as the ER in a hospital. Go here if youre not in a rush or near a hospital.
My boyfriend took me to City MD because my brother had closed a car door on it. They let my boyfriend come into the room with me which was fine. However, they did not ask him to step out for a moment when asking me very personal medical questions about my medication and how I sustained the injury. All women need to be asked are you safe at home? privately. Although he would never hurt me, my boyfriend could have easily been an abuser forcing me to make up a story. Please address this breach in protocol.Despite this, they did a very good job patching me up and they had top notch medical equipment (including x-rays). Now Im on the fast track to recovery.
Easily one of the best experiences Ive had on a trip to the doctor (and Im grumpy when Im not feeling well - this is a big deal). Everyone who helped me out was very thorough and friendly. Ive been to a few CityMDs in Manhattan and this is the best hands down. Thanks for the great experience
Physician’s Assistant Michelle Lee helped me by ordering blood work which showed 3 problems which I think were being caused by a dietary supplement which I will abstain from for the time being. She also ordered a needed chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. The other physician ‘s assistant at After Care noticed Scoliosis, so I will now see a specialist to address that serious matter. I’m so glad I went to CityMD !
While we were passing by car on April 26th,2016, my mother took a glance at the CityMD sign on Broadwayand we eventually got interested (out of curiosity) in knowing about our in-depth health through a blood test. Our family (especially my grandmother) insisted on us to confirm with blood tests our health.CityMD (with facilities in bountiful locations) is a walk-in clinic with hasty results. For each visit, they randomly assign the patient with diverse medical employees. The waiting room is vast and there are clear view glass partitions where the patients can see pedestrians walking in the street. We filled out health medical questions papers that were fastened on a clipboard and the secretaries wereapproachable. At the moment, an assistant announced both of our names and we were shown a room where a proficient lady Seka (audibly heard but not necessarily written as named) took ourblood pressure and oral temperature. Melissa a devoted nursedrew separately our blood. Brian (a brisky assistant from Hong Kong)queried us with health questions which he nimbly typed into a computer. He declared to us that he liked our formal manner of dressingand my mother complimented the lightweight flexible technologyof his sneakers as well as I did too.Promptly, we were saluted by the felicitous PA Joshua Sugay (whom also appeared to be of Asian heritage). We explicated which tests we desired and he suggested others as well. The tests performed are as follows:Labs= Anemia/Iron Panel,Routine Panel,TSH,Vitamin D 25,Vitamin B12,Procedures=Venipuncture,Routine. He said we looked healthy -nonetheless, that we will know by the labs the outcome. At the end of the visit one of the secretaries said I could keep the CityMD pen. I willingly rated CityMD on a survey at the frontal desk.Early morning, on the next day of April 27th, our phones wereringing constantly thus rousing us all up from our sleep.I spoke to a woman doctor from lab results and she was franklyconcerned and informative. She divulged to me, she had 911 on the linein case we did not answer the telephone. She explained that bothmy mother and I had life-threatening Anemia (mine was worst with ahemoglobin count of 3) -she instructed us to rush to the hospital emergency room for blood transfusions.Rapidly we dressed, ate breakfast to nourish ourselves and were driven by car to the hospital. My mother and I were admitted to the same hospital wherewe stood for two days and each of us received two bags ofdonated blood transfusions and iron pills. After being discharged from the hospital I had many issues with my blood including thrombocytosis,polychromasia(blue-like cells), misshaped cells,etc... -but, in every month my blood test results fluctuated and my hemoglobin miraculously rose speedily and I no longer amanemic. Nonetheless, our health condition vary due to circumstancesand situations. At CityMD the staff Kunal S. even e-mailed me to take VitaminD 2000 iu daily for one month and repeat with pcp. Sameer sent me my blood lab results via e-mail when I on the hospital bed responded to my cell-phone and affirmed for him to deliver it at my email.CityMD are a life-preserving team! Congratulations!
I had stopped @ CITYMD yesterday about 7 pm to inquire about something and to get some water when I stopped in front with my bicycle, and withoutme saying one word the manager came out nasty and rude, WATER WAS FOR THE PATIENTS, I didnt even have a chance to explain why I was going there,She didnt know why I was going and only assumed that I was just getting water, like she owned the place.I could have been a patient and although maybe a future one that might require medical attention.
I went in hoping to have a minimal psychotropic medication. After paper work, wait and interview, the physician tells me he cN’t Prescribe simple sleep medication. At the door, there should be a sig: We do not prescribe most medications in the Hudson psychotherapeutic sector. Save the world time and grief.
The staff was unprofessional. Called in my prescription to the incorrect pharmacy one I never used. My pharmacy was on file and advised at in office visit. I waited an hour at my pharmacy only to be told the prescription had been filled by the incorrect pharmacy the office sent the RX to. Dr Juan Garcia refused routine labs and COVID-19 antibody test. I was advised by his staff it had to do with cost which leads me to believe he had a personal issue with how much the insurance pays. It is not okay for physicians to refuse requested services based on personal reasons. This was supported by the fact I heard a negative comment from a staff member regarding the type of insurance carrier being used. Imagine going to the doctor for a routine visit and refill to deal with this that led to you being sick from the heat, humidity and limping up a hill with a knee injury. Save yourself the headache. I always liked City MD and referred friends. I definitely have changed my mind after this visit. This was the worse experience I ever had. I wonder how many other patients were treated this way and had setbacks?

2022-02-13I visited this City Md for the first time,I required a few stitches on my left eye, I usually visit St. Lukes and decided to try and support a local establishment, if they offered the services i needed. The experience from the front desk,The calling in, the reception, the evaluation and especially the professional medical attention offered was, exceptional. There was human understanding of what was needed, without amy feeling of judgmental protocols .It was nice to be able to get medical attention, without a security guard acting up, or provoking you, just to show you their can of pepper spray and bat belt of amazon ordered weapons. Certainly that sounds absurd,But the truth is the truth.Every single staff member i interacted with, was absolutely awesome., Professional, Swift, knowledgeable, and deserves this honest review. For me it was double awesome not having to tell captain batman ,How to carry themselves. From what i see, and have experience,I would certainly express this establishment is more than capable to assisting your medical needs.Hope this helps,Thank you all and God Bless 👌

2022-07-21I gave a ten rating to everything because from the moment my sister and I walked in (for Covid tests) we were welcomed with kindness and a gentle efficiency from the desk staff to the doctors. The contrast with the nearby Northwell urgent care (understaffed and clearly overwhelmed) could not be more stark. Thanks again.

2022-05-27Incompetence at its finest. Went in on Monday for X-rays that showed I have a broken toe. I asked for the X-rays, was told they would be given to me. They were not. Called and asked for them to be emailed. Was told I had to call aftercare. Called the number I was given and was promised I would receive the X-rays via email within 24 hours. Instead I received a PDF saying I had a broken toe, no images. I called AGAIN. Was told I would receive the X-rays within 20 minutes. Received nothing. Called AGAIN, was suddenly told we cant email X-rays. You need to pick up a disc in person. They wont mail it or messenger it either. I do not live near the location. Now I have to hobble back on the bus with my broken toe to get what I was promised from the get-go! What a joke.

2022-07-01So I started a TB skin test reaction test at a different city MD downtown, days before coming here for a reading. Thats all. so no equipment was used just their time. I needed it for a job. I also need a provider to sign some papers saying they saw the reading and I was negative etc but they didnt have access to my previous vaccines because they changed their internal systems or something in January. The vaccines was part of the job too so I just needed a provide to also say that they can confirm I have them by looking at my patient history. So reasonable I asked for some time to go through my records from my private mychart at my main primary care to find very obvious vaccines like Chickenpox (Varicella). Basically just showing them on my phone. The scribe was kicking me out after 5 minutes of me trying to look for it and Im just like ???? At the time I was getting the feeling like she thought I didnt have it because I was able to find the other requires vaccines or my job and for life in general like school lol. Mind you that this was such a commonly required vaccine idk how someone can confidently accuse another of not having it. Also the scribe was saying how theyre so cool because they can do covid swabs and take blood pressure and Im just thinking in my head um okay Im just making small talk lol.Anyways I paid the previous downtown cityMD for the test (of course because I did it there) and did the reading there later in the day because this cityMD was useless but this city MD has been trying to charge me for doing nothing. Please dont double bill me. Also humble your scribes please.

2022-02-25I did a walk in because I was in pain; this was my first time at a city md and I asked for two services and was informed that only 1 was offered that’s fine. But the weird judge mental looks from the three receptionist are not. When I walked in I was given weird looks whereas a YT woman walk in 5 minutes afterwards and then all of them remember customer service skills saying good morning welcoming her in with kind smiles. The energy is off and they give classist vibes which is weird. You work in healthcare try to make all of ur patients feel welcomed.

2022-04-10Front desk person immediately told me that I most likely had to go to the ER before even seeing the doctor. When I saw the doctor, I told them about the issues I was having with my stomach. They diagnosed me with stomach flu. I’m still having stomach issues a week later that go beyond a stomach flu. Feel like I was misdiagnosed. I am trying to get an appt with my PCP who recommended me to go to urgent care in the first place.

2022-07-18I made a visit in June 2020, just received a bill from them for $200 in July 2022. I have paid $200 on the date of visit, and have a credit card statement to prove it. I called their billing department, waited 45 min first time/20 mins the second time, no one ever picked up the phone. I called the 104 location, they sent me right back to the same phone number and waited for another 20 mins and I ahgned up.I submited online contact form twice on their wbesite, both got to an error page. Although the doctor was nice, dealing with billing nightmare two years later is frustrating. At this point I do not know what to do with the $200 charge I have already paid.I would advise if you see a doctor there, be sure to keep any receipt for a few years for unexpected surprise!

2022-04-26They dump everyone in rooms and then don’t attend to any patient because they’re too busy giggling and gossiping with one another. You have to come out of your room and tell them to do their job so that they actually do it.

2022-05-10Patrick was the ONLY one that treated us with kindness and genuinely wanted to help me and my son. The doctor was cold and dismissed us without giving us any real help. We ended up going to another urgent care where they took their time, prescribed us medicine to help us, and even called us that evening to make sure we were doing ok. This City MD did not care at all about the discomfort or pain or even the length of time we had been sick and suffering. NEVER AGAIN and will be posting a review on Google ASAP letting others know.
